So so sorry! My computers hard drive crashed and I just got it fixed and they gave me a completely new one and all my drafts were on the old one. Not ashamed to say I cried. Not just for that but I had so much information and pictures and EVERYTHING was on that old hard drive. And now this movie won't download onto this new computer and everything is a mess. "No way is Zachary Quinto cuter than Chris Pine. Yes, I will say they are both nice looking and have many interesting facial features but, come on! Chris Pine! I mean we're called Pinenuts for goodness sakes!" I exclaim as we pull up to the side of Jesse's mansion.

Sarah quickly gets out and tells us to stay in the car. Ethan tries to argue with her and gets shot down when she speaks louder and cuts him off saying, "Stay! I'll be back as soon as I can with Erica and your friend, okay?"

When he tries to argue with her again she snarls and we all jump back, Ethan squeaks out, "Got it."

Sarah looks over at Benny, "I actually wanted to stay in the car, so that works for me…you know, have to protect Clare and all." I roll my eyes and pat his head looking back to Sarah as she starts jogging towards the mansion.

Once she's past the gate Ethan turns toward us, "Come on, we can't let her do this alone." He grabs the shoulder of my shirt but Benny quickly pushes his hand aside and I smile as he tells Ethan to go easy on my shirt. Benny's really sweet, oh god. I am such a nerd. Why would he care about Chris Pine or Zachary Quinto? Why was I fangirling that whole car ride?

We all get out of the car and walk around towards the back of the house near the pool but it took a little longer to hop over the brick wall and into the party. Ethan fell to the ground, Benny going after him, and I landed on top of Benny. We look at each other for a minute before quickly looking away and squatting in the bushes.

"Dancing vampire babes at 12 o'clock." Benny then looks at me and says, "You know, for Ethan. Because he so needs a girlfriend."

"That's sweet and all Benny but what I think is that Ethan believes he has a chance with Sarah, so it doesn't really matter if you find him a girl that is actually willing to be his girlfriend because he's going to go for the girl he knows," i look over at Ethan now who is eyeing me like I'm crazy, "is so way out of his league. Now let's just find Rory." I stand up straight and am about to walk out of the bush nonchalantly when I'm pulled back down. "Benny! You know I don't like being man-handled." I hiss.

"Guys, we're supposed to be waiting in the car. But if I'm going to die I'm going to die rich, with some 'Vampires Gone Wild' footage." Benny pulls out a video camera.

"They're vampires, they won't show up on videos or pictures. You're essentially video taping an empty backyard." I roll my eyes again as they start struggling for the camera ignoring me; Ethan really is a party pooper. I stand up straight and walk out without anyone noticing. I turn when I hear them topple out from behind the bushes and see a bunch of vampires move closer to them. Damn it, I grab a half empty red cup and quickly rush over to them when they start to stand up.

Benny was just about to say something stupid I'm sure so I get there and grab his arm deciding to do something probably equally as stupid and pretend to be his girlfriend, "There you are babe! I was looking for you everywhere! Did you find my video camera?" I look down and pretend to be surprised to see it in his hands, "Oh yay! Now I can finally do that thing with the lightsaber you like in front of it." I 'drunkenly' grab his hand that holding the camera and tilt my head towards his neck and bite. His arm that had found its way around me goes stiff. I quickly whisper, "What are you doing, play the game," and giggle like I'm drunk.

"Uh yeah," Benny looks towards the vampires who are now smirking and nodding in approval towards me, "so glad I decided on this little beauty to be my vampire babe. Right?" Then they all glance towards Ethan who then understands that he's not let off the hook yet and has to make up his own excuse.

"Uh yeah, um I was helping out. For the video camera…to help."

"Wait…so you were just going to watch him with her?" One of the vampires asks and shakes his head. Looking at me he says, "If you want I'll kick his ass."

"Uh no, that's cool, I'll do that. I'm stronger than I look." Now I don't know why, possibly because Ethan's been kind of rude to me lately or it's because we're in a really bad situation with vampires but I impulsively decided to throw my drink onto him. Ethan stutter and blows the punch off his lips.

"Wow, don't doubt that." He looks at Ethan and shakes his head, "Dude." They all walk away and we let out a breath.

I look at Ethan, "I'm really sorry about the fruit punch that I just threw in your face but," he could clearly see the look of disgust on my face now, "let's just get one thing straight. If I were to ever do something of that nature with Benny or anybody, which I won't, you'd never be able to watch. Let alone be in the same house, the same street even. That was just creepy dude. Next time please come up with a better excuse, like you were going pee in the bushes or something." I let go of Benny and quickly glance up at him. "Um, good job, playing along. I mean, sorry if I made you uncomfortable and grossed you out. I know I'm not the kind of 'babe' you look for in a girlfriend." I give a pained smile, "I'll go look for Rory over there."

I fast walk away from both of them and towards the punch bowl that's outside. I hear Ethan tell Benny he has to tell me something but then I'm too far away to hear anything else. I'm muttering under my breath about what an idiot I was when someone comes up behind me. I turn around thinking it was Benny but find that it was the cute pale vampire from before who offered to kick Ethan's ass for me.

"Hey pretty girl. You looked kinda upset so I thought I'd come over and offer to cheer you up." He smirks and gently puts his hand on my arm. "I'm Nick."

I give out a shaky laugh, "Clare."

"Well, Clare, would you want to dance with me?"

"No can do vampire bro. This is my babe, she's going to dance with me." Benny cuts in, wrapping his arm around me.

"I haven't even heard you compliment her, maybe she doesn't want to dance with you." Nick looks at me the to Benny again, "Vampire bro."

"Damn that sounded cooler coming from you," Benny mumbles and then looks to me and says, "You look fang-tastic tonight babe!"

I give out an unlady-like snort and look at Nick, "Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll stick to this vampire dork."

"Alright, your call. Just let me know when you decide to ditch count dorkula." He says before walking away.

Benny gives out a sigh before turning towards me, "I wasn't kidding about dancing with you."

"No offense but you kind of suck at dancing."

"Hey!"

"But…you're my sucky dancer."

"Thanks…wait...hey!"

"Come on, count dorkula. Show me some of your moves." I say as I pull him along.

We find Ethan and end up dancing for only one to two songs because Ethan was so hell bent on finding Rory, Sarah, and Erica as quickly as possible. Although I think he wanted to find Sarah the most. She is way out of his league. But hey, can't help who you fall for…I should know.

"Okay, now that we've danced let's find Rory, " Ethan leads us up some stairs towards the house, "Where would Rory be?"

"Wazzzzuuuuuuuppp?!"

I jump and whirl around to find Rory coming up behind us. I feel Benny rub my back as he listens to Rory. I'm barley paying any attention, we need an exit strategy and it's not looking so good right now. I look back at Rory and see him show us his 'hickey', how did this idiot not feel the two bite marks on his neck. I mean seriously? They argue a little until Ethan finally decides that we can't leave without Sarah.

"Are you kidding me? She's probably the safest one out of all of us!" Benny gives Ethan a pointed look and pulls Rory towards him down the short steps.

"Do the words 'stay in the car' mean anything to you Ethan?" I roll my eyes…I've been doing that a lot lately. As they start to argue again about saving Sarah I look inside the house and see her and Jesse talking with Erica and Gord. How are we supposed to get her without causing a scene? Without Jesse causing a scene? I didn't realize that Ethan had pulled me inside and up the stairs until it was too late and could hear Benny and Rory protesting behind us.

As we lay on the stairs ignore everything except Sarah and Jesse, all the while trying to figure out an escape plan because it seems that these morons aren't thinking about that. "Two hundred and nineteen, soul for soul," Jesse smiles, "It'll be an incredible night; like something out of a movie. Alright, enough talk. We're all hungry and the moon is full…let's eat."

I snap out of it when Benny grabs my arm and starts pulling me down the stairs, "I thought of a way out of here, let's go. The front door is going to be locked so we'll have to go back outside." I yell whisper at Ethan and Benny.

But is seemed that Ethan was still ignoring me, what is his problem, why doesn't he listen to me? He ran towards the door and looked at me when he said that its locked, uh, duh. I look around and shake my head; I see Nick and two other vampires looking at us. Dammit. Nick smirks over at me and they all start walking forward as we speed walk towards the backdoors, but before we can get even close to the doors Gord stops us.

"Whoa. Whoa. Where are you girls going? You're just in time for dinner." Gord hold his hands up in front of Ethan and Benny's chests and a group of vampires block our only way out.

"See Ethan, maybe if you had just listened to me this could have been avoided." I hissed.

"Sweet! What's for dinner?" Rory smiles at us as Gord chuckles and cocks his head. When Rory still didn't figure it out Benny slapped his forehead and Ethan yelled, "Us! Rory, the menu's us!" When Rory finally seemed to get it Jesse showed up pulling Sarah along.

"Hmmmm don't they smell delicious?" Jesse said, and then looked at me and his smile vanished. "What are you doing here?"

I glanced over at Benny and then back to Jesse, "What? I-"

"Gord," Jesse glanced at his friend, Gord nodded and grabbed me to stand next to him.

"Hey!" Benny yelled and tried to grab me back but one of the vampires stopped him.

Sarah stepped forward, "No, no, Jesse! You can't, not them! I know these kids. I babysit him!"

"Well I'm sorry but – Wait. You still need a babysitter?" Jesse laughs at the boys.

Benny and Rory look at each other and then at Ethan. Rory shakes his head hold both hand up while Benny gets defensive and points at Ethan, "Oh, no, no. He, he needs a babysitter."

Gord asked why Ethan even needed one but everyone just started laughing when Ethan tried to defend himself on not needing a babysitter but that Sarah was really babysitting his sister.

"Just because he's a vampire, does he have to be such a dorkwad? Seriously…" Benny shakes his head and tries to make another grab for me but gets pulled back, "No? Still not happening. Got it."

Gord roars at Benny but Jesse pulls him back, "Stop, stop, stop, initiations will follow tradition. Fledglings drink first." Rory was pushed forward and I had expected Jesse to turn towards Sarah but you can imagine my surprise when he looked at me first.

"What? I'm not a fledgling. Nor a soon-to-be vampire." I shake my head.

"Come on Clare."

"No, you come on Jesse! Why are you taking such a special interest in me? I'm just another dork!" Looking over at Ethan I say, "No offense." I hear him ask why I didn't look at Benny but I was too focused on Jesse to answer him.

Jesse looks around the room and sighs moving closer to me. I hear Benny struggling with the vampires and saying my name but I could only focus on Jesse, "Because…you're my…however many greats...granddaughter."

I froze. I could vaguely hear Benny and Ethan yelling at Jesse. I swallowed, "Lies."

"No, I'm not. Before I turned, I met a women. She...let's just say, she had my daughter...and the rest is history. That's why I was so drawn to you, I didn't know why. But when we were at the park...I could see her eyes when I looked at you. Then I came back here and did some research on you. We're family Clare."

I couldn't breathe. I couldn't breathe.

This monster, this vampire was my however many great grandfather and there wasn't anything I could do about it. "Just one bite Clare. You'll be able to hear this kids heart pumping. It's be the beat of a whole new world waiting for you...one where you'll never die, never grow old...one bite and it's yours." It makes sense. There's always been that little voice in your head. It's just one bite from him...and then one bite for you.

...Do it...you know you want to.

I didn't notice until Jesse's face was right in front of mine, his fangs were out and Benny was yelling my name.

"CLARE!"

Ethan rushed forward and before the vampires could pull him back he gripped my arm, "Clare, don't!" He gasped and stood there for a minute.

I shook my head and scoffed. I stepped back from both Jesse and Ethan and glanced at Benny with wide eyes. His were looking at me in shock and confusion.

Erica pushed forward, it seemed that she was done waiting for me to decide, "Oh, I will do it."

Sarah yelled for Erica not to do it but as Rory was telling them that there was no need for them to fight over him, Erica took Rory by his jacket and pulled him forward latching her teeth to his neck.

I heard Ethan and Benny gasp in shock but all I could do was stare. Erica had known what she wanted. She knew and she took it. I could feel Jesse staring at me but instead of focusing on him I looked up to see Sarah break the legs off a chair as Erica dropped Rory, falling to the floor herself as well.

"Back off! I mean it!" Sarah yelled.

Jesse made a grab for me and pulled me next to him. "Sarah, seriously, where can you go."

"Let go of her!" Benny yelled out. He and Ethan threw the punch bowl onto the ground.

"Benny just go, I'll be okay. I promise." I was starting to tear up. In some strange way I knew that Jesse wouldn't hurt me. Don't get me wrong I was struggling against him like there was no tomorrow but I know when I'm going to win and when I'm not.

Jesse scoffed when Benny tried to make a grab for me and pulled me farther away. "You'll see her again kid..."

"I'm sorry Benny, we gotta go!" Ethan yelled throwing down the lamp and electrocuting two vampires.

"No, no! Clare!" Benny cried as Sarah and Ethan pulled him away.

As they got outside everyone inside started to go on a frenzy to get outside and catch them. Jesse's grip on on my slackened, only slightly but it was enough where I could shake him off. I looked on the floor and saw Erica and Rory giggling at each other.

Jesse walked towards me as I backed away towards the couch. "Don't run because I will catch you. We need to talk."

I didn't say anything, I didn't give any indication that I had heard him but he knew. I sat down. I was there for what felt like hours, but it was only 10 minutes when Gord came back he was telling Jesse that the nerds had some form of lightsabers with sunlight.

"It's actually ultraviolet radiation in the spectrum-similar to sunlight." I sniffed. I hadn't realized until now that I was crying. Why? I don't know, maybe for myself, this situation. Maybe for Benny and the fact that Ethan hadn't let Benny take me with them.

I heard Jesse tell Gord to take care of everything while he spoke with me, that everything will go according to plan. He must have waited until everyone was out of the room to come and sit next to me. I didn't look over, I didn't move.

"We have to talk Clare." Jesse laid back against the cushions.

"No, we are not doing anything. We are going home. Not we, we now when I say we I mean I." As I start to stand Jesse grabs my arm and pulls me back down. "Oh my gosh, do not man-handle me again or I swear on my Marvel collection that I will put a stake through your undead heart."

He's laughing. Laughing. "Come on Clare. Let me show you something."

"I'm not going anywhere with you."

"Oh...but don't you want to see where you come from?"
