Brittany searched to find Santana but she didnt want to go to Santana's room because she didnt want to talk to Sam again...
after about 45 minutes of looking Brittany gave up and figured Santana was in her room and like she said before she wasnt going to let anyone stand in her way
Brittany made her way to Santana's room and took a deep breath before knocking on the door, A minute later the door swung open
'THANK GOD' was all Brittany thought
It was Santana "What are you doing here?" She asked raising her eye brows
"Sorry to bother you but i was hoping we could talk" Brittany said just above a whisper she wasnt sure if Santana was mad or not and Brittany saw how Santana could throw knives
Sam appeared behind Santana and his face dropped
"Brittany" Sam said dryly
"Sam" Brittany mimicked his tone and she swore she heard Santana let out a laugh
"Please Santana" Brittany said bring her eyes back down to the girl in front of her
Santana let out a deep sigh and looked back to Sam who was slowly shaking his head saying no, Santana looked back at her and nodded a yes
Brittany's face broke out into a smile
"Lead the way" Santana said stepping out of the room into the hallway
Brittany nodded and started walking to the elevator and looked back a couple times to make sure Santana was behind her
Brittany and Santana stepped on the elevator and Brittany hit the button for the roof
"Where are we going?" Santana ask breaking the silence
"You'll see" Brittany repiled taking her eyes off the buttons and to Santana
Santana let out a light chuckle
the elevator binged and the doors open and Brittany led Santana to the roof
Brittany heard a gasp from behind her and turn to see Santana in awe the view at night was beautiful
"This is Beautiful" Santana breathed
"Yeah it is" Brittany said not taking her eyes off Santana
Brittany led Santana to sit on the bench
"So... What did you want to talk about?" Santana said bringing her attention back to the blonde
"I want you know that im sorry it didnt work with us being an alliance" Brittany wasnt sure of her word and she was sure that Santana could hear it in her voice
"Just let me ask why you dont want to be an alliance, did i do something?"
Brittany shook her head furiously
"No...But as a group we have a good chance to the last one's left Santana, then what?"
Santana directed her eyes to the sky
"I have a hard enough time trying to kill and dummy with a bow and arrow theres no way im going to be able to hurt the 3 of you let alone kill" Brittany said looking up at the sky following Santana's eyes sight
"So what you just go get killed alone?" Santana said angerily "We can help each and we will figure something out if we all make it"
Brittany lightly shook her head
"There is no other opitions... Santana they dont give you opitions"
Santana let out a deep sigh
"Santana i dont want to argue with you i just wanted to tell you that, i just want to make it easier"
Santana brought her eyes to the the blue one's that were staring back at her
"You desvere a chance to B" Santana said
A small smile falled on Brittany's
"I really like you Santana... and thats the problem nobody wins out of this"
"So lets enjoy the time we have left" Santana said barley above a whisper and seconds later wrapped her hand around the girls neck pulled the blonde into a hard kiss
Brittany was completely taking back by the kiss or really how it felt, It felt like her body was on fire, In a good way
both girls broke the kiss only to take a deep breathe
"Santana I-I.." Brittany was stopped when Santana lips hit her's again and both girls hummed into the kiss
after a couple minutes of kiss one another, Brittany realized she wasnt going to be able to stay away from the girl
Both girls knew it was late so they had to get inside
the walked in silence until they were in front out Santana's room
"Ill see you tomorrow?" Brittany asked
"of course" Santana waved and winked and Brittany felt her stomach muscle turn
right before Santana was about to close the door brittany grabbed the door and Santana opened it slightly and looked up at Brittany with curious eye's
"I got your back" Brittany said quickly before moving back from the door and headed in the direction of her room
Brittany was rolling around in the bed trying to get comfy but she finally figured after about 3 hours of trying she wasnt going to get any sleep, she couldnt stop think about Santana but she also couldnt stop thinking about how tomorrow is the last full day here then the games begin
Brittany rolled out of bed and made her way into the kitchen, maybe food would take her mind of Santana and the games, but as soon as she reached the kitchen she felt sick to her stomach, so she settled on a glass of water and she heard some one behind quickly to turn to...
"Jake" Brittany breathed
"Hey couldnt sleep either?" Jake took a step towards Brittany to grab cup
"No to much on my mind... i guess"
"Yeah me too" Jake nodded
the next few moments they sat in silence as the drank they're water
"Im sorry" Brittany says breaking the silence
Jake nodded
"I got your back" Brittany reapted from her converstation with Santana early
Jake took a steps towards Brittany till standing no more the 5 inches apart
"I got your back" Jake reapted with a small smile before in gulfing her in a big hug
Brittany was a little shocked at first but quickly responded
"Want to go watch some tv till we a tired?" Jake asked breaking the twos hug
Brittany nodded and followed Jake into the living room
Brittany let the hot sun soak in her skin, she woke up about and hour ago and was waiting for Santana on the roof before one last training session and meeting with out mentors
"Britt" Santana spoke breaking her out of her thoughts
"Hey" Brittany replied "Please have a seat" She said pointing to the spot next her
Santana was quick to sit
"How did you sleep?" Santana asked
"I think i got like two hours" Brittany laughed
"Well your probably just nervous about today being the last day"
Brittany nodded
"So we have about an hour and i want to everything about you so we better get started" Brittany smile
"As you wish "
Training went well Brittany, Santana, Jake and Sam talked about everyones strengths and weaknesses
Now it was for the last meeting with Quinn and haymitch but Jake and Brittany decied they want to talk to both in separtly
Brittany talked to Haymitch first
"Alright so how you feeling?" Haymitch asked
"Like in less the 24 hours i could be dead" Brittany said with a dry chuckle
"Yeah i know but you have a real chance of winning so just remember that"
Brittany nodded
they talked for another 15 minutes until in was time to switch
"Hey" Quinn greeting
"hey" Brittany replied sitting down
"So Jake told me you guys are a team again"
Brittany nodded
"what changed your mind?" Quinn asked
"Santana" Brittany blurted out before she could stop her self
A shit eatting grin appeared on Quinn's face "Oh my god you like her!"
Brittany immediately felt her cheeks get hot covering her face with her hands
"You like her like her"
Brittany shook her head slowly before removing her hands from her face
"I really really like her Quinn"
Quinn nodded
"I know how you feel" Quinn breathed her smile falling from her face
"you do?"
"Yeah, when i was in the games i met this amazing guy," Quinn said looking at the table
"What happen?"
"Well i think you know what happen considering im here" Quinn now looking directing her eyes to Brittany's
Brittany stayed silent for a minute "Did you kill him?"
"No I dont think i would have been able to hurt him, even if i wanted to"
"Whats his name?"
Quinn paused feeling tears swell in her eyes "Peeta" She spoke barely above a whisper
"That was the first time ive said his name since the games" Quinn said letting a single tear fall
"You didnt just like him did you? you loved him" Brittany sayed more of a statement than a question
Quinn nodded softly
"How did he die?" Brittany asked
brittany knew she should be asking all off these questions but she wants to know so she can protect Santana in everyway
"We were making camp i was doing the the fire and he went to go grab some water and never came back" Quinn now letting tears fall
Brittany moved quick to put her arms around Quinn tell her is was okay
After the crying died down Quinn was still Brittanys arms
"Brittany i want you to promise me something" Quinn spoke
"What?"
" I want you to promise you'll do whatever you have to come back" Quinn said
Brittany tensed and She knew quinn noticed
"I cant Quinn, But i promise i will try but they're some limits that i couldnt break"
Quinn nodded "I get it... But you desevre to win"
Brittany shook her head "Everyone desevres to win Quinn, everybody desevres their life, every one desevres to grow old and have kids and not have to worry about money or losing your child"
"Your amazing Brittany you know that" Quinn said
"Yeah but its nice to have a reminder every once in a while" Brittany said with a wink and quinn laughed and nudge Brittany in the ribs causing them both to get into a fit of giggles
"Quinn. . .Santana" Brittany said in between her laughs
"Alright" SIghed collecting her self "Go spend time with your girl" Quinn said before getting up pulling her blonde friend with her
