Today, Today was the day that they would be put in a game for one purpose and one purpose only... to kill
Brittany wasnt ready, she felt and heard the time ticking.
Brittany and Santana spent the night together just talking about everthing the want or wanted in life
Now Brittany was sitting next to Jake and across from Quinn and Haymitch they are giving one last speech on how to deal in there and they deciede that Haymitch would go with Jake and Quinn would go with Brittany.
"Alright you guys have an hour Before you guys leave" Haymitch said before getting up and moving to the door, Quinn follow behind giving Jake one last hug whispering a 'good luck' and Haymitch doing the same with Brittany expect whispering 'Dont die'
Brittany shook her head thinking easier said than done Haymitch.
Brittany was quick to make it to Santana's room
"Hey" Santana greeted opening the door before stepping out
"Hey" Brittany said barley apove a whisper, grabbing Santana's hand the deicede that they would spend what could be they're last hour to be free.
"Hey what are you thinking?" Santana asked taking a seat next tp Brittany.
Brittany shook her head "This could be it"
Brittany couldnt even look at Santana when she said it.
"Yes it could and it probably will" Santana said causing Brittany to look up at her "Thats why we have to enjoy it" Santana contunued "Take in it all in before it all gets taken"
"I dont want it to be taken" Brittany said with a single tear running down her cheek.
"Hey, Hey" Santana cooed "Look at me Britt"
Brittany looked at her and Santana gave a kiss on the lips
In was silent for a few mintues just enjoying each other's company.
"You wanna know something?" Brittany said
Santana nodded.
"I dont regret it..." Brittany said and Santana waited for her to continue "Voluteering for my sister and not just because i saved her, but because i met you, If i had never voluteered i would have never meet you"
This time is was Santana's turn let a tear escape and Brittany's turn to kiss it away.
"Im glad i met you too" Santana whispered into Brittany's ear snuggling into Brittanys neck
"It time" Brittany said after a couple mintues of snuggling with Santana
"Yeah come on" Santana said getting dragged Brittany down to the elevator and then attacked Brittany with Kisses and was interuppetted with the ding of the elevator and the opening doors.
They gave each other one last kiss and tight hug at Santana's door
Jake opened the door with Sam right behind him
"Hey guys" Jake greeted
"Hey" Both girls said
"we better get going" Jake said to Brittany
Brittany nodded
"Remeber guys to first find each other as soon as we get in there" Sam said all four teens nodded
"And stick together" Jake added
Before both Brittany and Jake turning around to head to their own room.
Jake grabbed Brittany's arm "I just wanted to wish you good luck" Jake says
"then I guess I should do the same, cause we're gonna be on the same team" Brittany repiled
"yeah I guess you should" Jake said giving the blonde a sad smile
Brittany was quick to hug Jake giving him a wish of good luck before the both went there separate ways.
Quinn met Brittany in the lobby
She took Brittany to get changed in what looked like a wet suit after all was done they were left to wait
"Brittany" Quinn said breaking Brittany out her thoughts "I want you to have this" pulling out a gold necklace with a circle out of her pocket,
Brittany took it in her hands and soon realized it was a locket opening Brittany found the face of her sister and Santana
"The faces of the reason your here and the reason your gonna fight" Quinn said
"I dont know what to say" Brittany mumbled "Thank you"
"I had that with me when i was in there" Quinn informed Brittany "a picture of my mom and Peeta"'
Briitany nodded giving Quinn a small sad smile and then the lights in the room flashed signaling them that it was time to go.
they both let out a deep sigh before heading to the door which lead them to a hallway at which the end of it was a tube that was suppose to transport Brittany.
Right before Brittany stepped in the Tube she turned around and gave Quinn and powerful hug "Thank you" Brittany whispered into Quinn's ear
"Goodluck" Quinn whispered back
they let go and Brittany stepped into the Tube and took a deep breathe know that could be the last time she'll she Quinn or the last time she'll she anything outside of the Hunger Games but theres no one else she would rather be here that Quinn for her final goodbye
