Brittany immediatly closed her eyes as the platform was fully raised, the sunlight was shining directly on her, she could hear the sound of water around the platform with the sound of the count down.

Brittany kept her eyes closed for a second in hope when she open her eyes she would be back with Quinn and Santana where its safe but she knew it wasnt possible.

She opened her eyes waited a second for her eyes to adjust to the light and looked down where water surrounded her and look to her right and saw Mike Chang then to her left was Sam separtimg each of them was a low wall.

Sam and Brittany made eye contact both giving each other a little nod, Sam pointed to the left of him and meaning her could see Jake and Santana

The group decidede that Brittany and Sam would be the best to go get supplies because the both are strong and great swimmers.

Santana and Jake are going to find wait on the edge of the water making sure no one gets an advantage from the shore.

There's the Ding... Brittany takes one look at Sam before both dive in the water swimming as fast as they can until they reach the wall and both pull them selves up before running to the cornucopia at full speed.

Both of them being one of the first to get there Brittany immediatly goes for the arrows and bookbag of safety supplies next she was quick to grab throwing knives and as she was turning around she was thrown to the floor by a girl from 7 and soon as she hit the floor she was kicked in the gut before a knife was pointed to her throat and in a flash of second the knife and the girl from 7 were gone, Sam's trident layed in her body next to Brittany her knife losely in her hand.

Before Brittany could process what just happened Sam had pulled her up got his trident and jumped in the water Brittany following him luckly for her she still had all the suppilies

Sam reached the shore before Brittany the pain in her stomach slowing her down when she got there she saw how Sam had the axe for Jake strapped to his back.

They both spotted Santana and Jake and made they're way over to the other half of there group and with a quick "Hi" to each other were given there weapons and ran into the forest in was hot and humid with in seconds they were sweating Jake leading the way with his axe, Sam following quickly behind him

Santana had to grab Brittany hand because she kept slowing down

"Jake!" Santana shouted as Brittany fell to her knees

Brittany could hear Santana shouting and Jake and Sam coming over but everthing was muffled and she was having double vision

She tried to the tell Santana what was going on but she couldnt seem to make out the words then everything went black.

"Brittany! Brittany!" Santana shouted tapping her cheek before feeling to check for a pulse "She has pulse"

"Alright good" Jake sighed in relief "lucky for us we are far enough into the forset we just need to make camp"

Sam and Santana nodded

Sam bent down to pick up Brittany and Jake stopped him "Ill get her"

Jake handed him his axe then bended down picking Brittany up bridal style

After walking for over a minute Jake layed Brittany under a tree giving Santana the safety bag to look over Brittany

"Did something happen eailer?" Jake asked Sam

"The girl from 7 attacked her" Sam said

"It looks like she hit her head" Santana said noticing blood running down the blondes hair line qucikly wiping it away giving her a small kiss on the forehead

"It was quick we didnt have time to check it out" Sam explained

"It okay, she just needs to sleep it off she'll wake up soon" Jake said "The heat isnt helping"

They all nodded in agreement

"Ill go try and find food" Sam said

"Okay, ill take first watch if you want to sleep Santana" Jake said

Santana nodded grabbing Brittany head laying it in her lap, while her own back was layed up against the tree, she leaned down giving Brittany a kiss on the head whispering "Your gonna be okay"

Brittany felt hands holding on to her own she opened her eyes and saw brown ones staring down at her, it was no longer light out.

Brittany sprung up and shocked her own body before falling back down.

"Whoa" Santana said putting her hands on Brittany's hips

"What happen?" Brittany asked her voice raspy

"You fainted, you hit you head pretty hard early but its all cleaned up so you should be good to go, just take it easy" Santana explained

Brittany nodded and turned to face Santana, Then looked around and saw both Jake and Sam sleeping.

"It was my turn to be watch" Santana said

The blonde nodded again, after a few minutes of silence Santana spoke up "Want to tell me what happen earlier?"

"I saw someone get killed" Brittany said not looking at Santana

"Who?"

"The girl from 7" Brittany answered "Sam killed her" she added

"Wait... isnt that the girl who attacked you?" Santana asked

"Yeah"

"Brittany, Sam did the right thing that girl was going to kill you" Santana said

Brittany nodded "I know, He saved my life" She paused "But not even 5 minutes into the Games i saw someone die and it just made it all so real to me"

Santana rubbed Brittanys back

"How many people are left?" Brittany asked but she wasnt sure if she wanted the answer

"16" Santana said quietly

Brittany gave Santana a lingering kiss before something caught her eye

"Santana what the hell is that?" Brittany asked pointing to the cloud of smoke coming towards them.

"I have know idea" Santana said sitting up straight

Brittany stood up walked over, she reached her hand up the cloud touched her finger tips and immediatly felt a sharp stinging

She screamed out in pain cause both boys to wake "Run!" She shouted.
