This was it.. the 74th hunger games was about the come to an end there were 4 tributes left at this point it was only a matter of days.
Brittany from District 12, Santana from district 10, Finn from District 3 and Helena from district 6.
It has been nearly three days since the attack on Santana and Brittany that killed Jake.
While they were sleeping Helena and Finn attacked, Santana and Brittany were barely able to get away.
The two girls have been on the constant move since the attack.
"Come on we have to keep moving" Santana said as she dragged Brittany through the bushes.
"We have to slow down" Brittany said trying to free her arm from Santana's death grip. "Santana!"
"WHAT?" Santana yelled stopping very quickly causing Brittany to run into the back of her.
"I haven't close my eyes in three days, I need rest" Brittany sighed looking into Santana's big brown eyes.
"You can rest when you are safe." Santana said.
Brittany and Santana have been hiding out in a cave for the past two days, but neither of them has slept more than 1 hour.
"We need to get that supplies" Santana said.
Santana and Brittany noticed it is getting harder and harder to find food, its almost like the game maker is trying to get the tributes to the center of the ring.
"You know that they are guarding that cornucopia with their lives" Brittany sighed.
"I know.. that's why we need to be prepared to fight... for Sam.. For Jake.. For each other." Santana said leaning in giving Brittany and gentle kiss on the lips.
"Okay, Let''s do this" Brittany said.
"I don't know if we can do this" Brittany said nervously.
"We can" Santana said trying to comfort the blonde though it didn't do much good.
"Okay remember the plan, You scan the area around the cornucopia and ill grab all the supplies." Santana said review the plan her and Brittany had made up.
Brittany said nothing just nodded her head.
Santana began to make her way to the center of the arena..
Brittany had been walking for nearly 5 minutes and has yet to see anyone.
Santana was close all she had to was swim a few feet and then she would be at the cornucopia, but she didn't see Finn coming up behind her knocking her off her feet and knocking the breathe from her lungs.
Santana couldn't call for Brittany, she could barely breathe.
Finn had his spear raised far above his head getting ready to aim for Santana's heart.
And in this moment it was like everything had stopped for Brittany, she saw Finn about to kill the woman she loved.
Before Brittany could even think about it, she had fired two arrows into the back of Finn.
He instantly fell to the ground, Santana was quick to move so he didn't land on top of her.
Santana just barely smiled at Brittany before the blonde falling to the ground, blooding running from her mouth.
Helena was standing behind the blonde holding a knife covered in Brittany's blood, she had stabbed her in the back.
Santana grabbed her last throwing knife and with every bit of force she had threw it at Helena killing her almost instantly.
Santana ran towards Brittany...
Santana fell to her knees next to Brittany.
"Brittany.." Santana cried her voice cracking.
"You won" Brittany said while coughing up blood. "Tell everyone I care about that I love them, I'll say hey to Sam for you"
"Shhh" Santana whispered "You are going to be okay"
"I can finally rest now" Brittany said barely able to muster a smile.
"No! No!" Santana began to shout as Brittany closed her eyes.
Santana's body violently shook as she cried clinging onto Brittany's now lifeless body.
