Sorry, I realized how long it has been since I updated...I have been so busy with Sonny, my hubby and I's recent move, his new job, and finally escaping in-laws. I don't plan on giving my stories up quite yet though.
We need to have these more often than just on Sundays." I said laughing as the smoke cleared.
"I know. We all just need more time." Kelso said playing with a rubber band, snapping it against his finger. "Betsy has been taking up most of my time lately. With all those tests and everything. I hope they aren't painful. Where is the IQ on your body? Is it easy to find?"
"Hopefully Betsy's isn't where yours is." Hyde laughed. He was being surprisingly giddy today. Overly giddy if you asked me. "I wish I had more time too for these things. Being a father gives you like no time at all."
"This is why the only kid I take care of isn't mine. I can give him back to his mommy whenever he wants. Mostly when I want more candy." Fez giggled out quickly as he sucked on a sucker. "I love candy."
I laughed and tried pulling the final chip from the bottom of the bag. "Has Mrs. Foreman made anymore cupcakes?"
"Yes." Eric sat down beside me and gave me a cupcake. "She made a whole stack when she found out Donna was having twins."
I looked at him, then laughed before stuffing a cupcake down my throat. "Very funny Foreman."
"It's true. Donna's having twins." He said, crossing his arms stiffly. "I guess it takes a real man to father two kids at once."
"I bet they are both girls." I said licking the icing off my fingers. "Like, really freaking girly girls. Unless Donna's manliness beats your girlyness out."
Kelso was laughing so hard he couldn't stop. "I'm the manliest here. I have slept with more women than anyone here."
Fez rolled his eyes. "I think I am. It takes a real man to look this sexy."
My brother laughed. "A real man, doesn't state he is a real man."
"So you are trying to say you are a real man?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Well, yeah." He smiled. His eyes actually twinkled through his glasses, when in heck did his eyes twinkle? There was something going on. He and Jackie were acting very strange. They sounded happier than they did on the phone a month or so ago.
"Yeah, well you don't have another one on the way." Kelso said rolling his eyes. "I do."
"I have two on the way." Eric's eyes widened and his mouth fell open.
"I have none." Fez smiled like a small child.
"Jen had better have none." Steven pointed at me sternly.
I raised my arms above my head. "Don't worry, no bun in the oven here. That would ruin my career and life." I laughed.
"Good." He laughed again. He seemed so giddy.
Later that day, Jackie came over to me and asked me if I could babysit H.J. in a week. I said of course, she giggled and practically skipped away.
At school the next day, I was intended to pick up Tinkerbelle after dance class. Then she and I were going to band practice at Harris' house.
I walked into her class and I saw her in the arms of a dancer dude. He had her back in his arms and she had her legs around his waist. She bent backwards, put her arms down on the floor, unlocked her legs from around him and did a 'back-walkover.' I had seen a Jackson do it once, he knew a few dance/acrobatics tricks from his youth when he studied musical theatre. It wasn't as cool as the way Tinkerbelle did it.
The dancer boy then jumped over her as she rolled on the floor. He grabbed her arms and spun her around the floor. She got back up and saw me standing in the door. "Hyde!" She yelled and ran over.
"Hi Tinkerbelle." I waved at her and her dance friend who was spinning around in circles. He stopped and waved before flipping his hair. "Ready to go?"
"Yeah, I just have to throw my other tee-shirt on. This one smells like roadpizza." She right then and there pulled off her shirt, going down to nothing but a sports bra.
My eyes widened as I didn't think she would do that right in front of a guy. She threw on another shirt from her bag and pulled a skirt over the shorts she was wearing.
"Bye Barney." She turned around and waved. He waved back before going over to the ballet barre. We both walked out. "He is such a flamer, but he is the perfect dance partner. We have to do this drag assignment for our choreography graduation exams."
"Flamer?" I asked as I walked with her out of the dance studio.
"Gay." She laughed. "So what do you have to do for graduation exams?"
"I have to play a classical piece for music class." I laughed. "I'm probably just going to find a random one in the library and play it.
"Any others?" She asked.
"Ruby is my councilor. She says all I have to do is that and work on the record with the guys and she will pass me on my graduation tests for singing. Drama just requires a dialog. I've finished all math and normal like education crap, I'm probably ok."
"Me too. I am tubular at math, science and all the other stupid normal stuff. I know I'll do bitchen on my ballet technical exam. I have the same drama exam. I wish we were in the same class. I am only really freaking about this choreography exam."
"Why?" I asked. "It looked great."
"It's like only because like, I don't want it to be grody to the max you know?" She pulled some bubble gum out of her backpack. "I already have my scholarship and everything. Just I don't want to totally bomb and loose it."
"You are not going to fail." I said taking a piece of her gum. "You are an amazing dancer"
"You are such a flange of a friend." She laughed as we walked out to the cruiser. "You know what, I have decided you are my new B.F.F.
I raised my eyebrow. "If that means what I think that means, I don't think I want it." For all I knew that meant Big fat f-word.
"It means best friend forever." She giggled.
"Really?" I didn't know whether I was happy, or disgusted. "I've never had a girl who is my best friend before."
"That is terrible. You may be a hessian and sometimes a little strange. Yet, you don't judge me." She laughed.
"Thanks Tinkerbelle." I got into the car with her.
I got to Harris' house and we were greeted by Jason running out. "Jena, Brooke had her baby!"
"Really?" I cried out.
"Yeah, Donna called from the hospital. You are supposed to call her directly back."
I ran inside and straight to Harris' dad's phone. I dialed the number Jason had gave me. I asked for Donna when the hospital picked up. Donna answered and gave it to Kelso.
"Jena, it's a boy." He was laughing. "It's a bouncing baby boy. Although who would try bouncing a baby boy?"
"What is his name?" I asked.
"Michael James Kelso." His voice was so happy. I wanted to cry.
"Did you name him?" I asked.
"No, Brooke did. She did right after I asked her to marry me."
"You asked her to marry you?" I asked excitedly.
"Yes, I asked her right after I saw the baby. It just sort of happened."
"Congratulations man. I can't wait to meet him when I come home."
I came home that weekend. There was little Michael Kelso. He was snuggly wrapped in Brooke's arms and already had the dumb look all Kelsos gave.
