Okay guys so this is technically Chapter 1, but anyways I just want to start.
Percy P.O.V
Percy was just so happy about this night… not at all. He and his friends snuck into the ball for the Athena side, for Athena's daughter to be exact. Her engagement party.
Percy saw a beautiful dirty blonde girl walk down the staircase in her mask, this was a masquerade party. She was gorgeous, some old dude was walking up to her, as if to ask her to a dance. Percy walked over and grabbed her arm and pulled the Princess away.
"Thank you" She said as they danced. "No problem" Percy said slyly.
"Oh my gods!" She squealed while trying to be quiet. The princess started dragging Percy into a room, no one noticed. "You're on the Poseidon side!" she said sternly. "Yes, I am but I mean no harm I-I-I… Swear on the river styx". Percy said, cause it was true. "Okay but why are you here?" She said bending down to grab something from under her dress, a dagger. "Well my friends dragged me here so I am here, and I don't want war like our parents do, I want peace" Percy stated calmly. The dirty blonde looked surprised, Percy took of his mask. "I am Annabeth, and your Prince Percy" She said still in kinda awe. "Oh Annabeth are you in here?" Someone called from the door. Annabeth pushed Percy into the closet, Percy could see everything. Luke walked in, "Hi hon if your gonna stay in here I want you out in 10 minutes for dinner" Luke said sternly, leaving the room. Annabeth sat on the bed, and started lightly crying. Percy got out of the closet, and sat next to Annabeth. Percy put his arm around her shoulders. She leaned her head against his shoulder. Annabeth looked up like she was gonna say something but that didn't happen, Percy felt happy with this girl,he grabbed Annabeth face and kissed her. She should've stopped him, she was engaged, so many reasons they shouldn't be doing this. But she didn't stop, she grabbed his hair and played with it, about 7 minutes went by of them just kissing. "Wait you have to go take this" Annabeth said giving Percy her necklace."I will say you stole it you just need to run and leave someone her to fight". She said happily. "Got it" Percy said and ran off. He started making the call to his friends that they needed to go. "Dawn stay and fight Leo hands!" He yelled. Dawn dropped and started fighting the people chasing her friends. Annabeth ran out and gasped. "He stole my necklace!" She shouted. The guards fought Dawn more. Leo lite his hands on fire and blasted fire balls to a big window melting it. They all jumped out, now fugitives of the Athena kingdom. The last thing Percy saw was Dawn fighting them all like a beast. And Annabeth smiling. 10 minutes later Dawn caught up with us holding her bloody arm. Cameron was super worried, so was Jace. They went to the Poseidon kingdom and slept with no worries.
