Dang was this chapter hard to get around to writing… First I get writer's block, and then my computer decides to screw with me by not getting online. I had to use my sister's laptop to update this story. Hopefully you like this extra long chapter to make up for the long wait!

Ayumu couldn't believe his eyes. But somehow there it was, a Megalo in Equestria. Attacking his friends with its sharp extended claws and everypony dodging them in the nick of time. For a moment he noticed Twilight and Haruna weren't there but then he noticed them reappearing in the crowd, this time with a certain pink chainsaw.

They've must've gone back to the library to get Mystletainn… He thought.

"Snap out of it Ayumu! They need our help!" Exclaimed Rainbow Dash, breaking his thoughts.

"You're right, I'm sorry!"

With that the two of them dove towards the Megalo which was kept occupied by Sera (who turned herself back into a bat pony).

"Swallow-Return Strike!" Sera exclaimed as she used her leaf sword to try to slice the Megalo but it dodged at the last second and blind sighted her with a slash on her side.

"Ahh!" She yelled at the pain as she skidded across the dirt.

"Sera!" Twilight exclaimed as she ran to Sera's aid. "Are you all right?"

"Ugh… I'm all right. But damn is that thing fast!" She grunted an answer.

"No kidding!" Shouted Haruna "This is Bukimi, he's a triple A class Megalo! But Head Teacher said he vanished off the face of the Earth years ago!"

"Yeah well thank that damn fish Anko! He thought he could beat me in a fight and instead of accepting loss he beamed to this candy-coated world!"

Ayumu's eyes widened as he recalled that his battle with Anko ended the same way.

"What are the odds after all this time I'd finally have my claws on a magical garment girl?" Bukimi then took another large whiff. "Oh yeeeesss, the pink unicorn is definitely a magical garment girl but… why is that delicious smell stronger on that dragon?"

Ayumu gave out a silent yelp and covered his behind as if some sort of weird attempt to shield it.

The Megalo then gave a shrug "Oh well, I'm not picky!"

Suddenly Bukimi launched himself at Ayumu, but before the zombie dragon could attack back Spike got in front of him and blew fire in the coyotes' face. As he yowled in pain Bukimi tried to swipe his claws at the baby dragon, but was ultimately stopped when Ayumu grabbed his arm.

"100% power!" He exclaimed as he lifted up the Megalo tossed him over the canyon.

Ayumu then turned back to Twilight, who was just about tell Spike off. "Kid, thanks for the save… but what the heck were you thinking?! As silly they look Megalos can be really dangerous!" Ayumu scolded, beating Twilight to the punch.

Twilight was… shocked, to say the least. She didn't expect Ayumu to be the one to scold Spike and from the looks on his roommates faces, they weren't expecting that either. They've always known Ayumu as a lax, easy- going person, so sometimes it's easy to forget that underneath he had a mature, protective side.

"I was worried about you Ayumu… Back at the migration you did say I could hold my own, didn't you?" Spike apologized, also surprised by the scolding.

Ayumu sighed at what he said; Spike had a point. After everything they went through, he didn't mean to make Spike feel bad or made him think he was lying. "…I did, didn't I? Sorry Spike, I guess I got worried about you too…"

"Uh… I hate ta interrupt yer little moment but we got a problem!" Applejack exclaimed as Bukimi leapt back up from the canyon; his face twisted with anger.

"You're gonna pay for that!" Bukimi growled as he let loose a loud howl that sends the entire group flying backwards and even shattered several boulders!

"Is everypony alright?" Twilight asked around.

"We're fine Twilight! Just a little bruised!" Ayumu assured as everyone else nodded as well.

"That does it! Let's teach this over grown Diamond Dog some manners!" Rainbow shouted as she flew towards the Megalo.

"Rainbow Dash! Wait!" The purple unicorn exclaimed running after her friend.

Rainbow then circled around Bukimi in high speeds hoping to confuse him to give her an opportunity to strike. But he Bukimi didn't look fazed he somehow grabbed the pegasus in midair by her tail. Seeing her friend in trouble Twilight let loose some magic beams at the Megalo, but it barely looked affective as he tossed Rainbow at her like she was a piece of trash.

"Sorry about that Twilight…" Rainbow groaned as she got off of Twilight.

"Look out!" Twilight exclaimed as Bukimi was about to pounce on them. But just as he was about to make contact a certain necromancer intercepted his claws with her scythe and used the bud of the scythe to push him strongly back.

Twilight looked at her with gratitude. "Whoa… Thanks Eu."

Eu wordlessly nodded in response.

"Alright! I've had enough of this guy!" Haruna exclaimed in irritation as she started to do the chant to surround herself in a flurry of sparkles. "Nomobuyo. Oshi. Hashitawa. Dokeda. Gunmicha. Deribura!"

When the sparkles faded everyone saw that Haruna had her same magical garment girl outfit, but it was changed slightly to fit her pony-fied body.

"Wow…" Twilight said; mesmerized by the unfamiliar magic before her.

"Ooooh~ Pretty!" Pinkie Pie agreed.

"Well enjoy the show while I slice and dice this guy!" Haruna boasted as she revved up Mysteltainn and charged towards the coyote Megalo.

Bukimi extended his claws even longer to catch the chainsaw as it was about to make contact. All he did was grin at Haruna lustfully as he pushed her back, slamming her onto a rock. And at that instant her outfit disintegrated.

"What?! Why did I power down?!" She exclaimed in a panic.

Bukimi tried to lunge at her but suddenly an explosion of confetti, streamers, balloons and cake blinded him. This gave her a chance to get away as she noticed Pinkie behind a light blue cannon about her size and judging by the few streamers coming out of the canon's mouth, it was what fired all that stuff at the Megalo.

"Pinkie Pie… Where did you get that cannon?" Sera questioned as she flew right over to her.

"This is my Party Cannon! Never leave home without it!" Pinkie grinned.

Sera raised a brow at this but ultimately she followed Ayumu's advice and not question this pony's behavior, afterwards she flew over to Haruna who was with Twilight.

"Haruna, what the hell happened back there? I thought you had your powers back." She questioned.

"That's what I thought! I guess whatever happened back when Ayumu and I fought the King of the Night wore off!" Haruna gritted her teeth in frustration at both the situation and herself.

The three of the saw Ayumu getting back in the battle and while reaching 100%, 150%, even 200% power Bukimi matched him in both power and speed. With every punch, slash and kick Ayumu gave, he countered with something just as strong, even starting give the zombie dragon some open wounds.

Bukimi ended his onslaught of attacks with one big slash that pushed him back, leaving large slash marks on his chest.

"Ayumu!" Spike exclaimed.

"Don't worry kid! I'm alright." Ayumu assured as his wounds started to heal and staggered back up.

"HOW DARE YOU?!"

Ayumu turned his head to the loud voice but was surprised when it came from…

"Fluttershy?!"

The yellow pegasus flew up to Bukimi's face, her trademark shyness suddenly gone and giving him the most intimidating stare he's ever seen.

"What have we ever done to you for you to attack us?! What would your mother think if they saw you behaving this way?!" Fluttershy scolded Bukimi like a parent disciplining a child who's done something wrong.

"Well… good thing I don't have one!" Bukimi answered back about to lunge at Fluttershy, luckily Ayumu breathed his smoke at his face to distract him and grab Fluttershy.

Ayumu let Fluttershy down, who was still in a stupor of what happened; only letting out small, quiet whimpers. And he couldn't help but notice that Spike and his group looked shocked as well before heading back to Bukimi.

"I don't believe it! The Stare didn't work?!" Rarity exclaimed what everypony was thinking.

'The Stare?' Eu asked through her notes.

"It's what Fluttershy uses to get even the most unruly animal to behave. But this is the first time I've seen it fail!" Rarity explained.

"Maybe because Megalos aren't real animals…" Sera mused to herself.

Everypony's thoughts broke when they heard and saw Ayumu's wing get snapped as Bukimi grabbed it and tossed him over head.

"Ugh… Damn… this guy's tough… The Blue Whale was easier than this!" Ayumu grunted as his wing tried to fix itself.

"Don't worry partner! We'll help ya out!" Applejack assured as she and Rarity charged towards Bukimi.

"But-!" Ayumu tried to warn but they were already gone.

"Ayumu, I can tell your much stronger as a dragon than a human but I think your gonna have to transform to give us an even bigger edge!" Haruna said as she tried to give him Mysteltainn with her magic. But Ayumu took a step back.

"Seriously?! You REALLY want me to do that?!" He exclaimed.

"Ayumu if it could help defeat that thing what's the problem?" Twilight asked in irritation at why Ayumu would refuse to use something that could help them.

"I think I know…" Spike spoke up. "The outfit Haruna wore… is it the one you were talking about earlier?"

Ayumu just nodded in response. "It's just so embarrassing…"

"I get it, Ayumu. I felt the same way before, but like you told me at the volcano, you don't need to prove yourself to me. No matter what I'll always think you're cool." Spike said to him giving a small but honest smile. Ayumu's eyes softened at the little dragon, he liked the idea of being amazing in Spike's eyes that he was contradicting his own advice. Taking another look at Bukimi trying to resist magic hurled rocks by Rarity and kicks to the legs by Applejack until he got irritated by them and used his mist to weaken them, then his howl to attack them; luckily Eu came over and shielded them from the blast.

"Haruna…"

"Yeah?"

"Give me Mysteltainn."

Haruna gave him smirk and handed over her chainsaw.

"Nomobuyo. Oshi. Hashitawa. Dokeda. Gunmicha. Deribura!" Ayumu recited the chant and the sparkles appeared around him. When they dispersed he was wearing Haruna's outfit; surprisingly it looked similar to when he was as a human, minus the shoes and had holes for his new wings and tail.

He looked down at Spike and was surprised to not see him laugh, but he was giving an assuring smile. Ayumu couldn't help but smile in return.

… At least until Rainbow Dash laughed like crazy.

"Rainbow!" Spike scolded with surprising authority and everypony else in his group glaring at her too.

Getting the message she stopped her laughter. "Uh… *Ahem* … Sorry Ayumu. Go get 'em!"

Ayumu nodded before turning to Spike. "Thanks kid."

He then flew with astonishing speed going right passed Eu, Applejack and Rarity who were trying to get away.

"Was that Ayumu?" Rarity questioned.

"Hm." Eu answered with a nod.

"But… what the hay is he wearin'?" AJ asked gawking at the incredibly frilly outfit.

Meanwhile Ayumu was squaring off against Bukimi, who's already sinister grin grew even wider. "So that's why the scent was stronger on you than on that pony…"

Ayumu just gave the Megalo a cocky grin. "You disappointed?"

"Nah, beggars can't be choosers!" Bukimi extended his claws started to swipe at Ayumu who blocked every blow with Mystletainn all revved up. While earlier the two were at a stalemate, now Ayumu had a slight advantage, even landing a few hits.

"Not bad kid, how 'bout this?!" Bukimi then let loose another howl that blasted Ayumu backwards.

This Megalo doesn't know when to quit! Now what do I do…?

Ayumu glanced around until he saw Spike. Suddenly something clicked in his mind. I think that could work!

"Hey Spike! Come over here!"

Without hesitation Spike ran over to him ignoring Twilight's calls to come back.

"I have an idea…" Ayumu whispered to him his little plan. Spike nodded and hid behind a rock before Bukimi came over to them.

"Any last words?"

The zombie dragon just smirked and blew a cloud of Death Breath at him. Once he heard the Megalo hacking for air he called out for Spike. "NOW!"

Spike then jumped from behind the rock and breathed fire onto the smoke, letting the combination cause an explosion, but not before Ayumu shielding Spike with his body. As much as he hates the magical dress, he was thankful that it took away his weakness to heat.

They remained still until they heard Bukimi screaming bloody murder as he was covered in flames. He was so preoccupied with putting out the flames he didn't realize Ayumu right above him doing an aerial somersault right towards him.

"Mysteltainn Kick!" Ayumu exclaimed as he looked like he was going to kick the Megalo but his leg missed and slammed the revved up chainsaw right towards his skull.

"All this time I finally get a garment girl and I die?! I HATE YOU ANKO!" Bukimi shrieked his last words before he dissipated into sparkles.

Finally… Ayumu thought in relief before letting the outfit disappear. At least I won't have to worry about nudity in this place… He randomly thought.

"Ayumu! That was amazing!" Spike cheered as Peewee waddled towards them (When things got heated Spike hid him in a small bush).

Ayumu grabbed Spike in a headlock and gave him a noogie. "Thanks Spike but you were a big help too."

"I just have one question…"

"What?"

"Why is that move called 'Mysteltainn Kick' when that was not a kick?"

Ayumu just gave a sigh as he let Spike down but he suddenly burped a small flame which turned into a scroll. Spike picked the scroll up, unrolled it and read it. His eyes widened at what he saw.

"No way!"

"What is it?" Ayumu asked with curiosity.

"The Princesses are coming over! They wanna meet you!" Spike exclaimed in surprise.

Later…

"Wow Ayumu, I can't believe you're going to meet the princesses! Do you have any idea what an honor this is?" Twilight gushed to Ayumu as they waited outside Carousel Boutique back in Ponyville while Rarity was inside with his roommates getting those new outfits she was making for them before they went to Ghastly Gorge.

"Uh… yeah. Sure but… what the hell do I say to them?" Ayumu said as he rubbed the back of his head nervously.

"Hey don't worry about it! Despite of what Twilight says the princesses are really cool." Rainbow said as she gave him a pat on the back.

"Alright everypony. What do you think?" Rarity came back out along with the girls. Sera came out first wearing a sheath dress that was turquoise at the top and dark green at the skirt. Haruna was wearing a purple sleeveless mini dress with pink ribbons around the neck and waist. And Eu she had a sparkly (but not flashy) silver long dress which ended slightly wavy with dark grey horizontal stripes at the bottom.

Everypony 'ooh'd' and 'ahhh'd' at Rarity's work.

"Wow… You look amazing! Right Ayumu? Uh… Ayumu?" Spike turned to the older dragon who had a goofy look at his face when his eyes fell on Eu.

"I know you like what you see you, stud! You know how bashful I am~!" Is what Ayumu imagined Eu to be saying.

"Hehehe Oh don't worry~! You look great~!" Ayumu said dreamily, somehow not noticing her blushing.

"Hey quit gawking at Neckwearmancer, perv!" Haruna scolded Ayumu.

"You should treat Lady Hellscythe with some more respect maggot." Sera huffed indignantly.

"Oh? I thought he was rather adorable." Said a new voice.

Everypony turned around to see a tall white alicorn a with pastel rainbow main, violet eyes, constantly flowing in a non-existent breeze. She was wearing a gold crown, a gold necklace and gold horseshoes; her cutie mark was a large sun. Next to her was a slightly shorter alicorn but with a dark blue coat, light blue eyes, and it looked like she had the night sky itself in her ever flowing mane. She had a black crown, black necklace and silver horseshoes and cutie mark of a crescent moon on a black splotch on her flank. It looked like they came over on a gold chariot pulled by several white armored pegasi.

Twilight gasped at the two of them. "Princess Celestia! Princess Luna!"

"Twilight Sparkle! Nice to see you again my faithful student, as well as your friends." Celestia greeted as she gave Twilight a loving nuzzle as the rest of her friends bowed. She then got a look at the four new faces who were a bit flustered until Sera nudged them to bow as well.

Celestia chuckled at their reactions as she turned to Spike. "I assume these are our 'otherworldly' visitors Spike?"

"Uh huh! Everyone, this is Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, rulers of Equestria and bringers of day and night."

"Nice to meet all of you." Celestia said to them as her sister stepped forward.

"A PLEASURE TO MAKE YOUR AQUANTANCE!" Luna exclaimed in a really loud voice that everypony had to cover their ears.

"Luna… what did we say about the Royal Canterlot Voice?" Celestia scolded playfully at Luna, who blushed with embarrassment.

"Ohh… Forgive me travelers. It appears that we- I- have still a lot to learn to speak as thou speaketh." Luna apologized in a much quieter tone.

"I think I like you…" Haruna admitted in a bit of a daze as she rubbed the inside of her ear with her hoof.

"Let me see if I can guess who you are…" Celestia started as she walked towards Sera.

"You're Seraphim. A vampire-ninja."

Sera nodded in response as she removed her pegasus disguise. Luna was in awe of what she said. "Fascinating. 'Tis like the echanted armor I give my Night Guard…"

Celestia smiled and turned to the next pony.

"Haruna. A magical garment girl from Villiers."

"Don't forget genius!" Haruna boasted as the princess giggled at her enthusiasm.

"Eucliwood Hellscythe. Necromancer from the Underworld."

"Hm." Eu nodded in return.

"And finally Ayumu Aikawa, the zombie that's gained the high praise of one of my subjects."

Ayumu blushed at what she said. "Oh… well… uh… Yeah that's me."

Celestia chuckled again at his nervousness. "Well you may have come here through… unexpected means, and this may be a little late, I would like to welcome you and your friends to Equestria."

Before Ayumu could respond Sera spoke up. "Well thanks for the warm welcome your Highnesses but we will be going home soon."

Spikes eyes widened at what she said. "R-Really?! Why?!"

"Sorry Squirt. That Megalo showing up here made us realize that we need to get back home." Haruna explained.

"I hate to admit it but she's right. And school's gonna start again soon." Ayumu said in defeat.

Spike's ears started to droop and he looked disappointed; Twilight rubbed his back with a hoof to comfort him. Then Ayumu bent down to get on eye level with him.

"Hey… it's not like this is gonna be goodbye forever Spike. Now that Mytletainn can travel between we'll still come for a visit."

Spike looked back up, with tears starting to form in his eyes. "…You promise?"

Ayumu looked around his friends who all gave collective nods before he turned back to Spike with a smile of his own. "Promise."

Unbeknownst to them Celestia levitated to brown hardcover books from the chariot in her yellow magic aura and gave them to the two dragons.

"What are these?" Ayumu couldn't help but ask as he and Spike flipped through the pages. "They're blank."

"I know. These books will allow you communicate with each other. Just write what you want to say." Celestia explained as she handed Spike a quill.

Spike then wrote 'Come Back Soon' on his book and Ayumu saw the words appear in his book.

"Of course."

Later…

"Say 'Cheesecake'!" Pinkie said as she let out a huge grin.

"Cheesecake!" the whole group exclaimed as a camera flashed twice and dispensed a couple of pictures in front of the Golden Oaks Library.

Pinkie grabbed the pictures and handed one to Ayumu. Then pulled out a five pink boxes from who-knows-where. "And have some cupcakes for good measure!"

"Um… Thanks Pinkie." He said in confusion. How does she keep doing that?!

"As soon as you come back I'm gonna throw you the best 'Welcome Back to Ponyville Party' EVER~! Pinkie cheered.

"We'll be their Puffy Pony!" Haruna exclaimed.

Applejack came up to them next. "Ya'll come back now ya here!"

"Um… Have a safe trip home…" Fluttershy said quietly.

"We're finishing our race when you get back pal!" Rainbow added.

"Got it Dash."

Rarity levitated a black hooded jacket with bright orange linings and an orange dragon on the back and gave it to Ayumu. "For you, good sir."

Ayumu was never big into fashion, but even he was amazed by how it turned out. "Wow Rarity, this is pretty awesome."

"Why thank you darling." Rarity smiled at the praise.

Twilight then levitated a small sack to them. When Ayumu opened it and his jaw dropped as he saw several different gems inside. "Twilight, what…"

"You said that gems are more valuable in your world so I thought you could use some gems in case you need more money."

"That's really generous of you, but you really didn't have to…" Sera said as she and the others still gawked at the gemstones.

"I wanted to. It's my thanks for what you've guys have done." Twilight assured.

The princesses stepped up to the small group. "I hope we get to know you better next time you visit." Celestia said.

"Indeed. Hopefully your next visit will be a longer one." Luna added.

'I hope so too.' Eu said back in her notes.

Spike was the last one to say goodbye, but the whole time he was awfully quiet. Peewee right by his side was pecking him a little bit to snap him out of it and walk towards Ayumu, who bent down to look at him.

Before the zombie dragon could say something Spike suddenly jumped up and wrapped his small arms around his neck in a hug. Despite being caught by surprise, Ayumu returned the hug with one of his own.

"I'll miss you…" Spike sniffled quietly.

"I'll miss you too kid…" Ayumu said back holding back some tears of his own.

"Ayumu…" Sera spoke up.

Ayumu slowly broke up the hug to look at Sera; she rarely calls him by his name instead of 'maggot'.

"I know…"

Haruna then handed gave Mystletainn to Eu. "Let's go home Neckwearmancer…"

"Hm." She nodded as she wrote the chant with her magic in the dirt to transform into the magical garment girl outfit.

"Show us home!" Eu spoke and used Mystletainn to cause a tear in the air before immediately staggering to the ground. Luckily Ayumu caught her, with both of them blushing as a result.

"So THAT'S what Eu sounds like? I like it~!" Pinkie Pie said out of the blue.

After saying their final goodbyes everyone stepped through the portal, with Ayumu being the last one to go. "See ya soon." Was all that he said before stepping in the portal before it closed behind him.

Spike just clutched the book tighter in his arms as Peewee nuzzled his side and Twilight came up to him. "…Spike? Are you ok?"

"Yes Twilight… I'll be fine."

Back on Earth…

Ariel was making herself some lunch at Ayumu's house before a tear in space opened up in the living room and the group of four came right out.

"Welcome home!" Ariel smiled brightly.

"Head Teacher? What are you doing in my house?" Ayumu asked, surprised she was there.

"Oh I thought I would watch your place while you were gone. I see you brought souvenirs from that other dimension…" She explained as she eyed the boxes Haruna had, the sack Eu had in her hand other than Mystletainn, new clothes that Sera carried (which somehow changed to fit humans) and the book in Ayumu's hands and that new hood he was wearing.

"Yeah Head Teacher! Wait 'til you try these cupcakes!" Haruna said as she set down the boxes. Ariel smiled at her student until he noticed Ayumu looking a little distant.

"Ayumu? Is something wrong?" Ariel asked in concern.

He gave her a small (but somewhat sad) smile. "Yeah… I'm okay." Ayumu said as he looked down at the book in his hands. "Just thinking about a really good friend."

Finally done with this chapter! All that's left is the epilogue; hopefully it won't take as long as this one did. By the way, the idea of the book came from the Equestria Girls movie "Rainbow Rocks". I'm personally indifferent towards those movies, but I thought the idea of communicating through books was a pretty cool concept. Also I hope I got Luna's speech pattern right, since this takes place during Season 2 and after the episode "Luna Eclipsed" thought that Luna would still have that Medieval English and trying to not use the infamous Royal Canterlot Voice.
