Wally's POV

"Nice job Bart." I say high fiving the nearly 30 year old speedster, he'd never found his way home.

"It's nice to see you can keep up, cuz."

"It's nice to keep up with you two for once."

He chuckles, "You coming for dinner? Iris and Barry would love to see you."

"Nah, I want to see Artemis and Blair, I'll stop by and see Iris later this week."

"Alright, stay crash cuz." He says speeding off in a red and yellow blur.

I was exhausted I just wanted to eat and go to bed. We'd stopped a few robberies, the rogues, and Grodd. That was a slow day, I was still getting back into the swing of things.

I entered the zeta, happy to be going home to my lovely fiancée and kid.

I exited the platform to find the watchtower in chaos, "What in the world is going on here?"

"Same old same old Artemis and Blair drama, now Blair's metagenes activated and she's gone missing, no one's been able to get a hold of you, and Artemis has been up on the bridge shouting at everyone to find her family." Says a boy in a Falcon uniform, he's one of Blair's friends.

"And your daughter stabbed sportsmaster and nearly killed him, I mean in fairness he deserves it and if any other Falcon had got him they would've killed him it's lucky your daughter shows more restraint than most." He tells me.

"Thanks, Tate?"

"Yeah, I know it probably gets confusing for an outsider."

I raise an eyebrow, he starts to back pedal furiously, not that you being an outsider is bad I just mean- You're not- I mean uh… I better go see how the search is going, I was just sent of a coffee run by nightwing. You should probably go see Artemis, she's about to kill someone." He was red it was pretty funny, I kept a straight face focusing on the fact my fiancée is in a murderous mood.

"Thanks, I take mine with lots of cream." I tell him

He looks confused, "coffee." I tell him, "Oh, and can you grab me a sandwich, cheers."

"Right." He says shell shocked, "Now I see where Blair gets it from." He mutters, what does Blair get from me other than eyes and hair? I push those thoughts aside and go off to find Artemis on the bridge.

I hear her yelling before I can see her, I sneak up behind her and wrap my arms around her. "Wallace Rudolph West, where the hell have you been? Do you know how worried I was? Don't think hugging me will get you off the hook. your daughter is missing because she had to inherit your stupid powers, and vibrate through the frickin' floor boards of Roy's stupid apartment then run off to God knows where and disconnected her tracker. She's stabbed my dad and now she's probably on the shadows most wanted list, not to mention the fact my dad 77 and probably going to die, but god knows he was to get stabbed by somebody someday, I just thought it would be Jade, but now it's our kid who's pulled a disappearing act like everyone else in my family, including myself."

"Artemis, calm down. Babe, she'll be fine."

"You don't know this nobody knows this, we don't even know where she is."

"Yeah but she's a good kid, level headed."

A snicker comes from behind me, "Level headed? Blair? You have to be joking." Tate says

"From what I've seen yes."

"You don't see very much of her, do you? Because you're talking about a girl who charged into a warzone in a dress and stilettoes to yell at Nik because he was stuck in Kaznia on their anniversary last year. Or the time she tied a recruit up in a tree for disrespecting her."

"I'm sorry she did what now?" Artemis asked him angrily, apparently she didn't know about this.

"Nothing, I gotta go, you know Falcon business, bye, I'll radio up to the watch tower if we get any communication from her. Bye" he says running faster than any normal human possibly could.

Artemis sighs and turns back to the computer, it's pretty safe to say she's not going to be fun to be around until Blair comes back. She's like a mother bear who lost her cub.

Blair's POV

This was amazing, the wind rushed through my hair and I couldn't stop wanting to go further, I hadn't ran in what felt like forever, I needed more speed, I needed to go further and faster. God this rush is exhilarating, my body was rushing with endorphins. I couldn't stop a smile from growing on my face. I laughed, can't remember a time when I felt this free. I never wanted to stop

Of course all good things must come to an end. I needed to refuel, but how? I had no idea where I was, I open my CPFA to check location, I was in London, cool, I haven't been to London before, I found the Falcon safe house location, it was an emergency base used by Falcons when they were stranded in foreign countries, it had money and a fairly decent place to sleep.

I wanted to run again once I'd eaten, I wanted to keep going and never stop, is this how my dad feels all the time, no wonder he's so hyperactive and impatient everything is going at a snai'ls pace in comparison to him. God how did he stand going at a normal pace with everyone else.

I was somewhere in the southern hemisphere when my dad caught up with me, "Blair you need to slow down and come home now, your mom's worried sick, you don't know how long these powers will last, or whether your genetic structure of all your cells have mutated. No one knows what might happen so can you keep the running to a minimum."

"Nah." I say kicking into a higher gear.

"Damn it ." he mutters, he chases after me "Okay, I'll make you a deal if you slow down I'll let you come on patrol with me."

I slow my pace my interest is piqued, "Go on?" I ask

"What you want something else?"

"Yeah, real coffee, none of that decaf crap, a little more freedom, don't get me wrong I love you and mom but keeping my contained up in space drives me nuts especially if I can't train. Also I want to be allowed to train I'm not asking to join the team because then they'll have three speedsters and no one wants that. But I want to be allowed in the gym. Seriously, you guys have cameras everywhere, I think you'll be able to see if I'm about to explode or whatever you seem to think is going to happen. And seriously just to be honest with you, you've got to stop being so awkward around me, you want to ask me something just ask me." Ranting a little but he needed to be told he seemed really uncertain around me and I know I haven't been the most welcoming but hey if we're going to be patrolling together we might as well clear the air.

"Okay."

"You're agreeing to all that I asked?" I say confused, I did n not think he'd go for it. Victory for me! Woohoo woohoo!

"Why are you doing that weird dance?"

"Why not, now let's go home."

A/N: Hey guys so internets fixed no thanks to my dad because as per the usual refused to get it sorted until it affected him grrr Men (in my family(Not meant to offend any male readers sorry if it did.))
