Hey guys so thanks for the review! I just want to say thank you to everyone who helps me through this and lets me do what I love. So I decided that from now on I will dedicate each chapter to someone who is either reading my story and reviewing, someone who gives me ideas when I have writers block, or anything like that. So this chapter is dedicated to one of my best friends, you know who you are. She is the reason that this chapter is up right now. She is constantly giving me advise on this story and telling me what she likes.
I have the link to the pictures of Raven and Ryder, as four year olds, on my profile. Check them out!
SO this is a high goal but can we try for 30 reviews? The next chapter is already wrote so I promise that if we make it to 30 I will update very soon if not... well I will still update just not as soon.
I reached into my pocket one last time to make sure the tiny black box was still with me as I waited for Rose to answer the door.
'Breath' I thought to myself.
Jasper answered the door and grunted at me. He started to hate me a while ago when Alice told him that I was going to ask Rose to be my wife. Mrs. McCarty.
Rose and I have talked about the future a lot. She even came up with names that she liked for our future 'children' Cassie for a girl and Royce for a boy.
Jasper let me in without another word. I went to the living room and sat on the couch. And smiled down at the kids on the ground. Rosalie's mother babysits the kids in the area.
"Emmie!" Cher called from the ground reaching up for me. Cher was three and was the cutest little girl in the world, but she had a tough life at home. Her mother, Sara Franklin, my 8th grade teacher's daughter, tried to get rid of her at birth, 'because she was only 18', but the only thing stopping her was her boyfriend, Kyle. He died a year ago leaving Cher with Sara. Sara went off partying every weekend and Cher almost lived with Mr. Franklin but when he died of a heart attack Sara started to drop Cher off here every day. Mrs. Hale has tried to adopt her but authorities say that Sara is no harm to Cher.
"Cher! How is my favorite angle?" I asked tickling her neck.
She laughed, "Emmie! Stop it! Emmie! 'Op it!"
I smiled down at Cher and set her on the floor.
Me and Rose decided that as soon as Cher can be adopted, which she will be at some point, we are going to adopt her, even if it's in ten years and we have kids of our own.
"Emmett?" Rose said from the doorway. I turned to look at her and caught my breath. She was wearing a short blue skirt, a red shimmery top, a black jacket that went halfway to her hips, and silver high heels. Her blond hair was straightened and hanging down to her chest (she cut it last month).
"Hey, Rose. Ready to go?"
She nodded and smiled. I grabbed her hand and walked out the door ignoring Jasper's grunts to my car. I decided that I needed something besides my jeep so I got myself a red car that looked just liked my parents did.
I opened the door for Rose and jogged over to my side, "So where are we going?"
I shook my head and said nothing.
"Fine, don't answer," she whispered under her breath.
I laughed.
The car ride was filled with Rosalie's talk about collage. I pulled up the restraint that I was taking her to. The unnamed one that we went to on our first date.
"Emmett," she whispered. It meant just as much to her. She lent over and gave me a kiss. It was slow and genital yet full of wanting.
I pulled away all to soon and she frowned, "I have reservations for us at six," I laughed looking at the clock that read 5:50.
She sighed and nodded.
When we got inside a man came up to us, "I'm sorry but there is a three hour wait. You can sit here for now,"he said gesturing to the group of people waiting and looking broad, besides the one couple that was making out, in the corner of the room.
"No, that's OK," I said. "I have reservations for us under the name McCarty."
He looked at his sheets and led us to a table in the center of the room.
"This is nice," Rosalie's blue eyes looked into mine. They were my favorite feature of her's.
"Yeah it is," I reached into my pocket just to make sure the ring was still there.
A young waited came up to us. He looked about 16 or 17 and had jet black hair. "Hello, I'm Vincent and I will be your waiter tonight can I start you off with any drinks?" He did stare at Rosalie like most guys did, which made me like him right away.
"Um I will have a Coke," Rose looked at the menu.
"Same."
"Okay I will be right back with two cokes," Vincent said and walked off the the kitchen.
"Did you hear that Jessica and Mike are getting married?" Rosalie asked. That made me feel sick. Would she say yes when her best friend just got engaged? What if she said no? I don't know how I would cope.
"No I didn't," I tried to regain my composer. She didn't seem impressed but let it slide.
I opened my mouth to change the topic but was interrupted by Vincent coming back with our cokes.
"What would you like to order?"
"I'll have your Prosciutto and Beans with a salad," Rosalie ordered.
"Um, Shrimp and Roasted Red Peppers, for me with soup on the side."
Vincent nodded and walked away.
"I love you so much," Rose told me. "Thank you for taking me here."
"Anything for you, Rose."
We were not waiting very long until Vincent came back with our food.
"Yum," she said looking at her food.
"I agree."
Rosalie ate very slowly which drove me insane because by the time I finished everything she was only halfway done with her meal.
'It's time' I thought.
I knelt to the ground, "Rosalie Lillian Hale, I love you with all my heart will you marry me?"
She did not answer right away which scared the crap out of me, but when she did I was the happiest man on Earth.
Rosalie jumped into my arms and kissed me on the lips repetitively ending with one long tender kiss that I know if I wasn't on the ground already my knees would have buckled. I heard people clapping around me but I didn't know why. All I knew was Rose was going to be my wife my Mrs. McCarty.
"Let's go home," she whispered.
I motioned for Vincent to come over. "Congratulations, guys," he said handing us the check. "You guys look good together."
"Thanks, Vincent," I payed him the cash and a good tip. "I'm sure you'll find someone someday too."
"I already found her," he retorted to me pointing at the door. A girl about his age stood there her dark hair was in a low side pony which brought out her eyes. "Her name is Porsha."
"She's great man. You guys will defiantly be happy." I patted on the back as I took Rose's hand and walked out the door.
"Congratulations" Porsha exclaimed as we walked out the door.
"Thank you," Rosalie whispered smiling at her. "I hope the same for you and Vincent too."
Porsha smiled.
I kissed Rose's head as she got into the car. I thought about all the people I needed to tell, I just wish that Izzy was one of them. But the only reason I can cope with knowing that is because of my future wife.
'Mrs. McCarty,' I thought as I drove into the cold night with Rosalie's hand in mine.
Emmett proposed(-: Next chapter is of Bella and Edward on the island a year latter!
