OMG guys! I set 40 reviews as kind of high, and look what happened? 43?! Ugh I just can't. Thank you guys so much, this really makes me like writing a lot more. But I can't seem to thank you enough.
Btw I know some of you have been asking about my story Shattered. I still really want to continue with this story a lot, it's just that I've kind of grown out of my Twilight stage-don't get me wrong I'm still going to finish this story- and I really am not feeling it right now. I'm sure I will continue with Shattered eventually, just not a moment I don't think.
Btw if any of you guys are also PLL(Pretty Little Liars) fans I have started my first fan fiction for that it's called Pretty New GenerAtion. It's about the liars and their kids in 20 years. I really feel like you guys will like it. So go and read that if you want.
So I realized only after I posted the last chapter that I forgot to dedicate it to someone. So chapter 11 was dedicated to unlockedmusic, I'm glad I was able to win you over.
This chapter is dedicated to... Lantus123, I'm glad to be back.
Bella's Pov
I smiled and clapped along with Ryder as Edward spun Raven around in darling little circles. Edward picked her up and set her on his feet, and they did some sort of dancing that I've never seen before. I held back a laugh. Getting on the island at such a young age Edward barely had any clue what a lot of things were let alone how to do them.
"Edward?" I asked biting my lip.
He looked so concentrated as he stared down at Raven's and his feet. His green eyes were scrunched and he had sweat dripping from his forehead. "Ummhmmm?"
"Did you take dance lessons as a kid?" I asked already knowing his reply.
"No," he said taking Raven up and setting her down on the grass. "Why?"
"Because..." I said holding back a laugh. "You are really bad." I picked up Ryder's laughing body, ran out a little farther, and joined in with his giggles.
"Aww, you little," Edward playfully yelled. He took Raven's hand and lead her down the big hill gracefully. This made me laugh even harder. "You want to have a dance off?" He said without even a smile.
"Please," I retorted.
"Edward?" Raven asked, drawing out the 'A' in his name as she always does. "Them?" she pointed at us.
This made me go over the edge. I literately was on the ground rolling on my stomach.
He got down on his knees so he was closer to Raven's height. "And why would you want to do that, sweetie?"
She shrugged her shoulders.
I composed myself enough to just barely make out a sentence. "Come on, Edward," I said drawing out the 'A' like Raven does. "Let the little ones at least have a chance at winning."
He glared. "Fine," he huffed.
"Thank you," I whispered. Giving him a quick kiss on the check. I took the kids hands and we walked down to the beach where Ryder suggested that we go. I laughed mentally at how childish this seemed, but then again Raven and Ryder were kids, and living on an island with no one else doesn't really require acting like an adult to avoid embarrassment. There was no one to impress.
Once on the beach we had our little "dance contest." The twins and I won, which was obviously going to happen.
"Why don't you go thank Edward for letting you join our team," I asked Raven.
She nodded and ran over to Edward, who was fake crying on the ground, as fast as her chubby, little legs could carry her. She was growing up so fast, both her and Ryder. It feel like just yesterday they were newborns and we were trying to figure out how to keep them alive. Elizabeth came up with a lot of ways to take care of them, but surprisingly Eddie helped a lot too.
"Edward?" she asked drawing out the 'A' again. This always made me smile, it was just too cute. Edward took his head out of the sand to look at her. She whispered something into his ear. He laughed and nodded. He picked her up and put her next to Ryder and I, then held his hand out in front of me.
"Do you want to dance?" He asked.
I laughed, "I'd love to." I took his hand as he helped me stand up.
He intertwined his fingers with mine and put his other hand on my side. I did the same to him. We were in the traditional waltzing position. He started almost dragging my back and forth through the sand and each time before he would go back in the other direction he would kick his leg out to the other side. It only took about twice before I started to get into it also and we were both having a blast, while the kids sat in the sand watching and laughing. Edward made us dance more funny then elegant, but somehow he made his leg popping out every 4 seconds, and being dragged through the sand romantic.
I was having the time of my life before I looked over at the kids again and only saw Raven sitting down. I immediately stopped dancing, looking around frantic until my heart started working again when seeing Ryder standing by the ocean. Letting the water rush between his toes.
"Ryder," I walked over by him. "Be careful." I said as I knelt down by him.
"What's that?" His tan little finger pointed out into the distance. I squinted and couldn't see anything.
"I don't see anything body," I laughed tickling his tummy, I began to get up.
He tugged on my shirt and point out into the ocean again. I sighed and yet again looked. This time I could make out a log in the distance, but it was shaped weird, almost as if... no the last person to come here was two years ago and she died. I mentally cringed at the thought of Sally.
I felt an arm go around my shoulder and saw Edward hand brought Raven and himself over to join the party. "What's the problem?" he asked as Ryder was still pointing at the strange log. He gazed out into the waters also. "Bella?"
He sounded worried, as if he was in a rush, "Go get my father!"
"What? Why?" I questioned standing up. "It's just a log."
He looked at me straight in the eyes and said, "It's what's on the log."
I stared in shock for a long time. It couldn't be true.
"Bring Raven and Ryder back to the house, and tell my dad to come," He said in a hurry.
I grabbed the twins hands and hurried back to the house as fast as I could with two toddlers. I got to the living room where Elizabeth was mending a shirt of Edwards. "Stay here," I told Raven and Ryder.
I ran out back where Eddie was cooking a fish. "You know," he started. "I can't wait 'til tomorrow when it's yours and Edward's turn..."
I cut him off, "You need to come to the beach, someone's here."
Eddie looked up bewildered at the thought of someone else being here. He took the fish off of the fire and ran back with me, but only after telling Elizabeth to stay here and watch the twins.
We got back to the water as soon as we could. Edward was waist deep in the water, gripping to log to try to get the people on it to shore.
Resting onto of the log was a beautiful, blonde, pregnant women and hanging onto the wood was a young man with black hair. I couldn't see his face because his head was buried in his arms. This reminded me of a movie I saw as a young child maybe once or twice. I remember my mom getting very emotional at that scene.
I ran into the water following Eddie. He checked their pulse. "They are both alive," he stated.
I took the other side of the log the Edward had and helped carry them all the way into the sand. Eddie and I helped the lady get off the wood while Edward helped the male. This allowed me to get a closer look at her. She had the prettiest face I had ever seen, her skin was flawless, and she looked like she was ready to pop at any moment. I might have laughed if the situation wasn't actually serious. I mean what is the irony of two pregnant women out of everyone else in the world to come here. First Sally now this blonde lady. She seemed passed out hard, as if she hit her head- which i am guessing she did, why else would she be stranded.
Eddie then started to check her over to make sure she was OK. This gave me time to go and look at the black haired boy. His face was babyish. He couldn't have been much older then 20. I knelt down by him. He looked so familiar. He started to stir.
He mumbled something I couldn't quite understand.
Edward and I looked confusedly at each other. A began to get up when the man mumbled again. This time loud enough to stop me in my tracks. All the pieces started to fall into place, why he looked so familiar, why I felt so comfortable around him, the same age. "Izzy" he whispered.
"Emmett?" I questioned only loud enough so that I would be able to hear. I felt tears gather in my eyes, as every memory of Emmett seemed to flash in front of me. Him watching my favorite movie with me, teaching me to play football, letting me do his makeup and hair, ignoring me for the longest time, hugging me, giving me kisses on my forehead and checks, and finally the last time I saw him as only a young teenager on the ship.
I glanced at Edward and laughed as a river of tears flew down my face. I tasted the salt water in my mouth, but I didn't care, I just couldn't stop crying or laughing. "Edward!" I giggled my way through his name. "It's him. Emmett" I whispered his name.
Edward never smiled back at me though instead he looked very concerned, like I shouldn't be happy to see my brother who I haven't seen in many years. Who for all I knew might have been dead.
I leaned down next to Emmett's ear and whispered. "It's me, Emmy, Izzy." I smiled and grabbed his hand.
I looked over at the blonde woman again. I started to think about who she was. She could be his girlfriend. I smiled at that, Emmett deserved that. He was going to be a daddy. They looked so cute together I just couldn't help but smile. But she could also be his new sister. That word made anger boil up inside of me. I was Em's sister to begin with, I will always be his real sister, no one else.
I felt him grip my hand. I smiled and spook to Edward, "Can you give me your water jug?" I started. "He's waking up." He nodded and handed it to me with hesitation. I decided to question him about that latter.
I put the water jug next to Emmett's mouth and dumped a couple drops. His eyes opened but then closed just as fast at the bight sun. "You need to drink this," I said. "It will help you feel better." At the sound of my voice he opened up his eyes and squinted up at my face. He opened his mouth to say something but then shut it right back up, probably because his throat was so dry. "Here," I tried again, handing him the water.
He sat up and then almost fell back down if it wasn't from Edward running over to hold his back. Emmett finally took the water bottle and drank only about a quarter of it.
He looked at me and asked, "Where am I?"
Edward answered with, "On an island. That's all that we even know."
Eddie walked over noticing that Emmett was finally awake. He knelt down my front of him smiled and started talking, "My name is Eddie Mason, and this is my son Edward, and his fiance, Bella. My wife, Elizabeth, and twins, Raven and Ryder, are back at our house. You must have crashed an you are now on an island with us. What's your name?"
"Emmett McCarty," he stated. Hearing him say his name just made everything that much better. I smiled at Edward but he still was not smiling. Emmett then pointed over to the blonde lady, "That is my wife, Rosalie." The fact that she was his wife and not his sister made me want to dance around on the beach then and there.
"It's nice to meet you, Emmett," Eddie said extending his hand as Emmett took it. "I wish it was under better circumstances though."
This made to make everything seem more real to him then and he looked around him and then his eyes landed on Rosalie as she began to stir, Eddie went back to go and check on her.
"How far along is your wife?" he asked.
"She's due in about two weeks I think."
Emmett got up to go and check on his wife, and as soon as she woke up he gave her a big hug and asked how she was feeling. She replied with thirsty. He gave her the water jug and she greedily took it and drank the whole thing. That is why he only drank as much as he did.
After introductions were down again she asked, "So, is she here?"
"Is who here?" Eddie questioned
Emmett took a deep breath and said timidly, as if he were scared of the answer to come, "My little sister, Izzy."
Eddie sighed and shock his head, "I'm sorry, there is no Izzy here."
I gulped in as much air as I could and stepped forward, "I'm right here, Emmy."
The suspense though. I was going to make it longer but I figured this is a good place to stop. I had the middle a lot more descriptive at first, but then my nephew came over and deleted it so it's no longer as descriptive so sorry about that, but I didn't want to write it again.
So please read and review, and let's try to get to a total of 50 reviews.
I love you all, and let me thank you again for all of the kind reviews.
