Hey guys! Sorry for not updating for so long! Blame it on my schoolwork! Anyway, let's start Chapter 17!

~Cream's POV~

I woke up on a soft, pink bed. I looked around the room and saw that it was painted in green. Where am I? Why am I here? I try recalling what happened before I blacked out. All I remember was that I was drugged by that strange smelling cloth. Did Cosmo did that?

Just as I was shifting deeper into my thoughts, I heard some footsteps.

"I see that you're finally awake." A calm voice said. Then, I saw a Seedrian walk into the room. Her sweet scent of flowers filled the room when she walked into it. She was taller than me. She was a bit older than me. She had a pair of shimmering sapphire eyes. She had smooth, green hair. Her hair was quite long; it came down to her waist. She had a sparkling ruby on her chest. She wore a green and white dress.

"Cosmo?"

"Yes?"

"Why are you doing this? What do you want from me?"

She smiled a sweet smile, and said, "Because you stole my love from me. It's not fair."

I was confused. Her love? What did she mean?

She frowned at me. "Don't you remember? When I killed the Metarex?"

Then I remembered. I remembered that she said something like "You stole Tails from me!" before teleporting me to this place.

"But I didn't! Why would I? I don't even have any feelings for him! We're just friends!" I yelled. Deep inside, I knew I was sort of lying because I had always had a crush on him.

"Don't lie to me! Tails is staying at your house, sleeping in the same room as you are, and eating your food! It's almost like you two are married!"

My heart froze. Married? Come to think of it, we really are acting like we're married!

I felt a slight blush creep on my face, but I still continued to quarrel with her. "No! I'm just doing this because Tails doesn't have a place to stay! I'm sure anyone would do that! I'm just helping my friend! And, by the way, Tails' friend, Ukau, is staying with us too! That does not make us married, or look like married!"

"Look at you! You're blushing! BLUSHING! You don't have to quarrel with me anymore! The truth is so obvious!"

I stopped to think for a second. Wait, how did she knew how Tails behaved in my place?

"You *****!" I blurted out in a moment of anger. "You were stalking us the whole time!"

"How did you- No, wait. Yes, I was stalking you the whole time, so what? Hm? What are you going to do? Kick me in the face?"

This just made me even more angry. I remembered that I had karate skills and smirked.

"Hm Hahaha."

"Why are you laugh-" She was cut off by a hard kick in the face. She fell down to the floor with a loud "THUD!".

"Yes! I am kicking you in the face! How's that?" I kept on kicking her.

"Gah!" She suddenly grabbed my foot and swung it at the wall. I was sent flying to the wall. Luckily, I used my ears to slow it down. I reached the wall and used my legs to leap back at her, with my ears flapping like mad.

"Take this!" I screamed. I packed a punch at her face. She dodged it, and instead, punched me in the gut. I was sent flying to the wall once agian.

"I will not let you take Tails away from me!" She screamed while rushing towards me to punch me in the face. I dodged it swiftly and she punched the wall instead. Her eyes widened. I rushed to the back of her and kicked her by the side. She fell to the floor and glared at me. I saw her close her eyes and murmur something. Confused, I walked up to her and screamed, "Get up and fight!"

Just then, a ball of green light surrounded her and the grounds started to shake. Suddenly, some thorns tore through the ground and binded me. I screamed in horror.

"Haha! Take that!" She laughed manically.

I glared at her and struggled to break free.

"That won't work! My thorns are too good for that!" She kept laughing.

I closed my eyes and concentrated. "Think, Cream, get out of here, but how?" Just then, I saw an orange echidna appear in my thoughts. She wore strange clothes. She had kind, sapphire eyes.

"Who are you?" I asked her in my mind.

"I'm Tikal the Echidna. I am here to help you."

"Help me? How?"

"You see, some years ago our Chao guardian, Chaos, was gone. We tried to find somebody to be the new Chao guardian, but we can't seem to find anyone. We looked and looked, and searched and searched, until we found the one. And that was you, Cream the Rabbit."

I was so confused. I was a Chao Guardian? But why me? And why is she telling me this at this time?

"So... How does this help me?"

She giggled. "Don't you see? You are the Chao Guardian, and you have the power to control Chao! When Chao are together, they can create massive power!"

"So, are you saying that I could use my power to break free of Cosmo's bind?"

"Yes!"

"But how?"

"Oh, you have to say this: "The servers are the 7 Chaos. Chaos is power, power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the chaos."

"Ok. Thanks Tikal. I have to free myself first. Talk to you later."

"Good luck!" She bade me goodbye.

"The servers are the 7 Chaos. Chaos is power, power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the chaos."

"What are you mumbling about?" Cosmo asked.

Suddenly, a ball of blue light surrounded me, and in just a second, I was free. I flapped my ears immediately to prevent me from falling down to the ground. I looked around me, surprised by the power of Chao.

"WHAT?! No way! My thorns!" Cosmo screamed. She looked shocked and scared. My eyes locked on her and I grinned.

"What are you smiling at?! Stop it!"

I began to swoop towards her, ears flapping like crazy. I unleashed my ultimate attack - the hawk's tornado kick.

I hit her straight in the face. She fell to the floor, unconscious. I panted heavily from the battle. I was so exhausted. But at least I managed to take care of Cosmo. I immediately tied her to a chair to prevent her from doing anything when she woke up. I decided to go out the house and take a look around.

So what do you guys think of this? This was a quite long chapter (for me) And this was by far my favourite chapter. Who knew Cream was the Guardian of Chao all along?
