Hey guys! Magenta here! I changed my species from Hedgehog to Fox. :) Anyway, let's start Chapter 24! Since I still couldn't think of a proper ending, (/shot) we'll be stuck in the past for a while. *laughs nervously*

~Sonic's POV~

I was running around, looking for Tails in the Mystic Ruins when I heard my walkie-talkie beep.

"BEEP! BEEP!"

I quickly got my walkie-talkie out. Knuckles called me. I answered him without hesitation.

"Hello?"

"Sonic! Tell everyone to get to the Master Emerald at once! I think I found a clue!" Knuckles said quickly.

"A clue? Alright, I'll tell everyone immediately!" I said as I pressed the end call button. I quickly informed everyone in our team. (Including Cosmo, the newcomer.)

I rushed to the Master Emerald. Only Knuckles was there. The other team members caught up shortly.

"So, Knuckles, what did you find?" I asked him.

"Everybody, come near the Master Emerald! I'll show you something..." Knuckles said as he made a gesture for us to follow him.

Everybody gathered around the Master Emerald. We were very curious to see what Knuckles saw.

"Oh, mighty Master Emerald! Show us the scene that I saw just now!" Knuckles chanted.

The Master Emerald started to glow. Then, the glow softened so we could see what's happening in there.

There was a two-tailed golden fox. Beside him was a female brown hedgehog. Then, all of a sudden, the Master Emerald stopped glowing.

"Aw! That's it?" Amy asks.

"Yeah, at least we got a brief description. He's with a female brown hedgehog." Knuckles said.

"Does anybody know this brown hedgehog?" I asked.

No reply.

"I guess we have to find her then." I said.

"Teams, keep searching the places that I told you to search. Hopefully we would find her." I commanded.

"Yes sir!" They replied.

"Good. Now, let's go!"I said finally.

My team rushed to the other place we had to search- Frog Forest.

~Cosmo's POV~

Knowing that Tails was with another female made me really uncomfortable. I couldn't let them be together! I glanced at Cream. She had the same worried look.

Am I... Jealous?

No way! Tails loves me! I know he will stay true to me!

I smiled as I reminded myself that. But what about Cream?

Oh, she's NEVER going to get Tails...

~Sonic's POV~

We rushed into Frog Forest. I spun my head in different directions, hoping to find Tails- or that brown female hedgehog. Suddenly, I heard Amy call me.

"Sonic! Watch out for the-"

CRASH!

"Frog..." Amy finished, looking worried.

"Ow!" I said, rubbing my head.

"Croak!"

"Huh?" I glanced up to see what I bumped into.
It was a black frog. A huge one, too.

Suddenly, I felt a drip of water on my nose.

"Is it raining?" I asked.

"I think it's because of the frog." Cosmo said.

"You mean, the frog made it rain?" Knuckles asked.

"Yeah. I mean, it didn't rain until the frog showed up!" Cosmo looked deep in thought.

"Woah! Look out!" Knuckles pointed at a big, red fruit rolling towards us.

"RUN!" Amy yelled.

"Eh, I'll fly. It's easier." Cream said. Just as she was about to take off, Amy and Cosmo clung onto her.

"Hey Cream! Mind giving us a lift?" Amy asked.

"Alright." Cream said before she took off.

"HEY! What about us?!" I yelled.

"Sonic and Knuckles, you two just run! Cream can't handle you two!" Amy shouted back.

I sighed and began running with Knuckles.

"Why do girls always have the upper-hand?" I muttered.

We ran until we reached a dead-end. I sighed. How can I get through?

Cream and the other girls landed safely on the ground.

"Hey, any idea on how to get through now?" I asked, annoyed.

Cream looked around before pointing to a black frog. "Everybody, we could use Mr Black Frog to make it rain, and the fruit would drop, crushing this wall!" Cream exclaimed.

"That's a brilliant idea! I'll go catch it's attention." Amy said before running towards the black frog's direction.

Soon, the black frog noticed us and made it rain. A big peach fell off it's branch and started to roll towards the wall. Once it made physical contact with the wall, the wall shattered into a million pieces.

"Aw yeah!" I shouted. "Let's get moving now!" I said before bolting away.

"WAIT FOR US, SOOOOooooniiicccc..." Amy's shout became quieter and quieter as I got further and further away from my teammates. Then, I saw another frog! But this time, it was a normal green colored frog.

I halted immediately, and walked over to examine the frog.

"Croak!" The frog noticed me.

Suddenly, it started to rain again. But this time, no fruit came rolling towards me. Instead, the fruits grew bigger!

"Huh?" I said, looking around, confused.

"HEY! SONIC!" I heard Knuckles call me. I looked over my shoulder and noticed him and our teammates running towards me.

"W..why, is it, r...raining aga-in?" Cosmo asked, out of breath.

"Oh, I saw this frog, and once it noticed me, it started to rain again!" I explained.

"Enough about that frog. How do we get past here now?" Knuckles pointed forward. Everybody followed his gloved hand, (He has no fingers lol) and saw a cliff.

"Well, I might be able to carry you, but that would take a very long time..." Cream explained.

"Look over there!" Amy said, pointing to the cliff again. There was a long vine growing from it!

"Aha!" I exclaimed. "We could grind on that vine!"

"Alright then, let's keep going!" Knuckles said.

After we got off the vine, I noticed a giant mushroom blocking the way.

"Okay, what is THIS now?" I asked, pointing to the mushroom.

"It seems that we have to get through the mushroom in order to proceed," Cosmo said.

"But how are we going to get through?" Amy asked.

"I'll just punch a hole in it with my super speed!" I said, before backing away to gain more speed. Then, I quickly jolted towards the mushroom, tearing a big hole in it.
"Come on guys, let's get going!" I yelled, making my team members follow me.

Once I reached the top of the mushroom, I quickly halted, as there was that mushroom cover thingy blocking the way. I backed away again, ready to punch a hole in it.

"NO! SONIC, WAIT!" Amy called.

"What?" I frowned.

"If you just go through the hole, you'll be flying in the air, and maybe land on a bad landing spot." Amy said.

"Hm... You're right. but how do we go through it then?" I asked.

Amy took out her hammer. "Have no fear, Amy Rose is here!"

I rolled my emerald green eyes at that motto. Everybody else sweat-dropped.

Amy rushed towards the mushroom cover thingy, and with a loud "Hiya!", the cover of the mushroom broke.

"There! Now you guys can go th-" Amy suddenly stopped talking and stared at the sky.

"Uh, Amy? Mobius to Amy!" Knuckles asked. I walked towards her, seeing if something was wrong.

"Amy?" I asked, and saw her staring at the sky with sparkling eyes. I gave her a look of confusion before looking at the sky.

It was amazing.

Big, pink sakura flowers filled the sky, along with other beautiful flowers of various colors, all flying to the direction the wind was blowing. I looked down at the ground, and saw that we were stuck in the mushroom. But, who cares anyway?

"Guys! Come quickly! Look at this! It's amazing!" I called.

Everybody came rushing towards us. Once they looked at the sky, the gasped.

"Oh, my!" Cream exclaimed.

"This is the most beautiful thing that I've ever seen in my life!" Cosmo commented.

"But, how are we going to get out of this mushroom?" Knuckles asked.

"Hmm. I think we can cling onto the flowers. I think they won't mind giving us a lift." I said.

"Right!" Cosmo said, as she reached out her hand to grab a green hellebore.

"Okay, Amy, you can stop staring at the sky now." I reminded her.

She snapped back to reality. "Hm? Oh, what?" She asked.

I sighed. "Cling onto a flower so we could fly across the sky." I explained to her.

"Oh, right!" Amy reached for a sakura flower.

I randomly grabbed a iris cristata, while Knuckles grabbed a dahlia. Cream was going to fly, but she decided to save energy and cling onto a sunflower instead.

Flying in the air was really fun. I could never forget that experience! After a while, we all landed safely on the ground.

"Wow, that flight was amazing!" Amy exclaimed.

"Right!" I exclaimed, looking forward, only to find that it's the end of frog forest.

"Aw, but we still can't find Mr Tails, or Miss brown hedgehog..." Cream looked down.

"I'm sure we will find him sooner or later! Right guys?" I confronted her.

"Right!" Everybody agreed.

Whew! Sorry for not updating in almost a month! I had major writer's block, so I made this Chapter a bit longer then usual as my apology to you guys. Well, thanks for reading, and have a good day/night!
