Alright, sorry about the long wait. I lost some interest in finishing this story, so many ideas running through my head, but decided that no new stories will be posted till I get at least done till the second season. I am working on this story and my other crossover, An Unexpected Voice. Thank all of you who have stuck with me and I hope you enjoy with next chapter.

She sat underneath a large green tree in the palace gardens. The day was hot, as normal, but she was slowly getting used to it. The grass beneath her felt like small blades of silk compared to the coarse desert sand.

Servants went about their business, cleaning and taking care of the palace, getting ready for party that was to take place int the next few days. It was to greet foreign royalty, as they were considering alliances.

She had started to fall asleep in the cool shade, having finally escaped from her small group of followers. She was tired of having to try on different outfits for the party, she never really did like to dress up, but the level of skin they wanted her to show was more than she could handle. She was going to have to design her own outfit that would be suitable, but still respectful of the current customs.

The sweet scent of fresh fruit and cheese tickled her nose. She thought it was in her small day dream, but the chuckle that came after had her thinking differently.

"I see you managed to escape the dressers." his voice was rich, a small accent in his lilt. She smiled at the sound.

"Your lucky I care so much for you, other wise I might have become unbearable for the servants, and you never would hear the end of it." His voice was a low rumble as he laughed. She kept her eyes closed, but she felt him come up behind her and laid her on his chest, his arms came around her and held her close.

"And I care for you, more than you know, my little bird." He kissed the top of her head and she sighed happily, falling back into her dreams.

Kagome woke up just before the sun came over the horizon. Everyone else was still asleep, so she set up the camp fire again and started breakfast. All the while, her brain kept thinking to the dream she had. It was the first time that she had a clear dream like that in a while. Could it have been a memory coming back to her in her dreams?

She shivered and blushed at the love she felt just sitting in that mans arms. Even if it was just a dream, she hoped one day to have that kind of love in her life.

Kagame looked up, where she knew the castle resided. She knew that she needed to regain her memories, but the issue going with Pegasus needed to be dealt with first. Since she arrived, she knew she could feel other souls on the island. At first she couldn't tell because of how many people that had arrived, but then she began to feel small pulls towards the castle. Something was going on, and she had a feeling it had to do with Yugi's grandfathers should being taken.

Shaking her head, she finished breakfast just as the others were starting to wake up and started to dig in.

"This is great Kagome, thanks for making breakfast." Yugi said between a bite. Kagame smiled.

"Your welcome."

They all finished cleaning and packing within record time.

"Guys, I'm going to head to the castle. I have all the star chips I need, and I have a feeling by the end of the day you will as well." Kagame told them as they were about to head out.

"You sure you don't want to travel with us for a while?" Tea asked. Kagame nodded.

"I need to check in my brother, let him know whats going on. He will be very interested on what Pegasus is doing." Yuri and Tea nodded in agreement.

"Alright, well I guess we will see you up there for the final duels" said Yugi. "See ya soon?" Kagame smiled.

"Definitely." Joey gave a thumbs up.

"Take care!"

It didn't take to long for Kagame to reach the castle. A body guard was waiting at the gate.

"If you have your ten star chips, place them in the tumbler. Only then will you be granted access for the final rounds." She nodded and placed the chips into the slots. The door opened with a loud click. "Congratulations."

Kagome was showed to a room by one of the castles staff. Apparently there would be a final round when all of the contestants arrived. Until then, she was welcome to be in the main part of the castle, but was advised to either stay in her room till called for or welcome to peruse the main halls and garden area's.

First thing she did was find a phone and call Sessoumaru. Lucky for her, her room had a phone that could reach the main land. It didn't take long for her to unload on him what was going on.

"This makes things a little more curious." Sessoumaru mused. "Pegasus has always been ambitious, but this is going out of proportions. Keep your guard up and be aware of the shadows."

"Alright, hopefully this mess will end soon."

"How are your memories coming along?" Kagame blushed, but didn't say anything for a moment. Sessoumaru chuckled. "You remembered something, didn't you?"

"...Yes I did, I was in a palace, lots of sand, but there was a lush garden, and... and a man. Thats it."

"Good. There is progress. Let me know if there is any developments."

"Of course, aniki." she smiled. "Don't go to crazy with Inuyasha's antics."

"No promises."

Kagame spent the rest of the day preparing her decks for the next battles. She didn't know who she would be up against, but she trusted that she would be able to defeat who ever she had to duel. Soon, she was ready for what ever she would face in the finals.

Alright, I know its short, but here it is. Moving along in the story as much as possible, and we had a little memory scene.

Hope you enjoyed!
