19. Chapter 4-4 French Rumble

The Advent91: Yes I know! It's been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time! Life and stuff you know as well as finding a better job. Anyway I am finally able to finish this update. First I would like to make some things clear. Look I know that people have been asking about pairings of the past like will he be with this person or that person. Now I decided to hint at one in the later sequel and some of you are going to like it and some of you are not going to like it. I am telling you right now its not with any of the Naruto characters. What?! Say it isn't so! In this chapter I decided to hint it. This future pairing is actually one I have been a fan of in crossover fan fictions. Now let me make something clear here. The character is from a different series all together but I am bringing her over to fit in with the RE world. In no way shape or form is here verse and this one sharing. It's like how I brought Bayonetta into my Naruto's DmC story actually. She will be apart of the sequel along with her sister and they are both mentioned in this chapter. Once again Naruto isn't going to get with anyone in here but I am hinting one for the sequel and I have a good idea what to do with her to fit in. A lot seem to like Alice a lot so I decided for the sequel that could work and fit her actually but in a different way. Yeah I think they will like that idea. This doesn't mean Alice is in this story. Well I thank you all for your patience and I hope you like the chapter. Feel free to review if you'd like. I hope you like it. "Kurama, mom I'm almost there. It's funny, it feels as if I have been gone from them for so long."

It had not been long after Naruto's fight with the survivors that tried to kill him except for one whom he granted a mercy killing. It was already the beginning of a new day in this infected hellhole and he has taken many lives already with most of them being Umbrella and few innocent counting those he felt responsible for their deaths at the hand of the corporation. It had been several minutes since Naruto had escaped Wolfpack and those survivors in that building as he walked weakly through a deserted ally for a side entrance into the Arcade. Naruto prayed that both Kurama and Kushina made it as he reached for the door knob and luckily it was unlocked as he slowly pried the door open while aiming down the sights of his rifle held in his other hand. He slowly closed the door behind him locking it before slowly proceeding down the hallway.

Naruto was tempted to call out for both Kurama and Kushina but he didn't know if they were here or run the risk of attracting a zombie to which he would try and kill stealthily. In his slow pace he came to a stop by a manager's office door that was slightly pried open making him slightly push the door open with the muzzle of his rifle as the door gave off a creak. Inside what he discovered was a dead zombie most likely being that of the manager but its head was sliced clean off by something sharp? With that in mind he exited out of the office slowly proceeding to a doorway leading out into the arcade area itself and as soon as he stepped out of the doorway he heard the sound of a gun being aimed at him causing his to turn his aim toward the individual. However seeing who it was he immediately and quickly lowered his rifle seeing it was none other than his mother.

"Naruto!"

Naruto suddenly found himself brought into an embrace.

"What took you so long?"

"Sorry that I kept you both waiting."

"You don't look well." Kurama's voice said as he came walking out from behind some arcade cabinets.

"Well along the way I had those U.S.S. troops still on my tail but most of all the one called VECTOR. He caught me cornered and I honestly thought it was all over for me until that thing came in crashing the party."

"You mean that creature that you mentioned that seems to be stalking you?"

"The same and the strange thing is VECTOR helped me escape."

"What?" Kushina asked confused.

"He drove the creature's attention away from me giving the chance to run away."

"But why would he help you if you are their target?" Kurama wondered aloud.

"He knows so much…About me it seems and more so then his own team from the looks of it. I mean when I was fighting him the second time it almost felt like he was…training me? He risked his life to save me without a second thought?" Naruto said aloud as he took a seat in a chair.

"Naruto it may be because you are their target and Umbrella wants you alive. They probably can't leave the city without you." Kurama replied.

"That may be for the rest of them but this guy, VECTOR. There is much more to him than meets the eye. I don't know why but I felt a sense of familiarity with him almost as if I had met him before somewhere or possibly have known? Who is he?"

"Whoever he is not important right now. What is more impor-,"

"I know, Kurama, getting out of this city alive. Still I just can't help but wonder."

Kushina saw some splash of some dots of blood staining his arm and cheek and they looked fresh.

"That wasn't the only problem you ran into was it, Naruto?"

"After I escaped their sights while I was on the way I came across survivors only for some to attempt to kill me or for my gear. I saw a couple get mauled by a horde of zombies and even came across scavengers. I had to kill all four of them with the exception of one as a mercy killing. She didn't want to turn into one of those things like dad. So I shot her…This is probably her blood your seeing."

Naruto felt his mother place a hand on his shoulder making him reach up and clasping her hand.

"You did the right thing." Kushina said.

"Did I?"

Naruto stood up.

"Kurama, are all the doors locked, secured?"

"All possible entries have been secured. There are no infected in this building. Any that were have been taken care of. We are safe for now."

"I had a feeling you took care of that zombie in the back."

Naruto began to walk away making his way to the back or rather in the direction of the bathroom. Kushina attempted to follow but Kurama insisted that Naruto needed to be alone. Alone he did need to be as he stood before the sink letting his head hang with a lite candle that he found inside the cabinet with a box of matches. He literally dropped everything that was on his person on the floor being his rifle and sheathed sword.

"I am so tired…I can't stop now…I have to keep moving…Get us out of here…I already lost you father I will not lose mom or Kurama…I will do anything for their survival…"

Naruto brought up his right hand seeing dried stains of blood on it from various enemies being zombies or personnel of Umbrella.

"Even if it means becoming a monster."

Naruto balled his fist.

"I…I can live with that."

Naruto looked himself in the mirror seeing the dots of blood staining one side of his face.

"They must be right about me…I am some B.O.W. aren't I? How can I not be? I have all of these strengths proving that I am a freak. The worst part about all of this is that this has been with me all this time? How and when?"

It was then Naruto slowly but surely started to feel a pain beginning to form in his head until it eventually got so bad he grabs his head in pain giving out a painful grunt. It was then he began to have old memories flash in his head from forgotten past. He thought he saw himself running down a street with violence everywhere and fire rising into the sky. He saw something else as well seeing a group of armed soldiers that slowly approach him sliding a bag over his head. The final vision was seeing his own young arms and legs strapped down onto a table as men in white coats surrounded him with the bright light making them out of focus to him, and then seeing a syringe stabbed into his forearm as his young voice screamed aloud in horror.

When the short flashes of visions of repressed memories came to a stop is when the pain in his head slowly faded away as he let himself slump to the floor.

"Please…I don't want to remember…I couldn't bare it…"

He thought that those Umbrella soldiers and Wolfpack were actually right about him. Him being a Bio Organic Weapon, a monster, and he was beginning to see that as an awful truth. He was willing to become a monster even though he was beginning to believe to have been a monster this entire time. Naruto willed himself back up to his feet looking himself back in the mirror.

"Even if we were to make it out of the city what would we do afterwards? Umbrella is everywhere. They would just continue to come after us…because of me."

He really have never though it through to what the plan was even if they make it out of Raccoon because for all he knew Umbrella may have set up blockades outside the city to prevent stragglers. If that was true then that would complicate their plans of escape. Naruto would have to ponder these thoughts later as he was tired with a well-deserved rest and it was a great opportunity to do so seeing as the Arcade was safe and secure with Kurama on the alert. He rejoined him mother and dog seeing Kurama curled up next to his mother sitting on the ground enjoying some of the foods Naruto looted through his travel in this nightmare. He saw the delight on her face as she was munching down a bag of chips raising a chuckle out of him grabbing his mother's attention.

"Hey it's better than all that hospital food I had to myself in the food storage closet."

"Where did it all go?"

"Where do you think it went son? I ate it of course but not all of it. I will even tell you that it was crap."

Naruto took a seat and he laid back upon the floor with his hands behind his head closing his eyes as they felt so heavy to him. Maybe he can actually have a nap before that bitch of a monster interfered the first time and without Wolfpack anywhere near them. Kushina saw her son laying back and was relieved that they were in a safe location for them all to relax and pray that this temporary haven lasts. Already she can hear her son giving out a light snore bringing a small smile to her face.

"How long do you think we are safe here, Kurama?" Kushina asked the cybernetic enhanced dog lying beside her.

"I honestly do not know."

"I never would've thought that Umbrella would be capable of something like this."

"No one thought they did."

"…I wish Minato were here with us."

"…So do I."

He wished he could actually dream…something good at least but like before he was seeing small flashes of pain and fear. Just like his previous nightmares he saw a blinding light with men and woman in white suits above him holding the young Naruto down. He can hear himself panting frantically in terror begging them to let him go but they did not appear to heed to his pleas. They didn't look to care in the least. It wasn't until he saw another one of them standing above him with a syringe and inside he can see a red orange glowing substance, and following was the end of the needle being plunged into the young Naruto's neck as he screamed aloud. That is when Naruto woke up with his form looking to have jumped as he clutched his sword closer to him before realizing a blanket was placed upon his form.

"The nightmares again?" Kushina's voice asked.

"…Unfortunately."

"What was it?"

"Same nightmare I told you and dad before. Only this one was different."

Naruto reached a hand up to his neck feeling the area where he was apparently injected and he felt a small scar. All those years ago he was injected with the Prototype T-Virus during that terror attack upon his home city.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"…I really don't."

"Why not?"

"Because I fear that I will remember something I don't want to know."

"Then how about I tell you something good that you would like to know?"

"…What could that be?"

"It was before the incident back in Konoha."

Naruto was taken aback because he honestly did not want to remember anything about that whole incident that was forgotten from his mind which he preferred.

"Don't worry it's before it even happened."

"…Okay then what kind of memory is this one?"

"It's a good one. Do you remember when we got you Kurama?"

Kurama hearing this sighed turning his form the other direction causing Naruto to grin and Kushina to chuckle. Kurama was embarrassed.

"Remember that Christmas day when you opened up your present and out pops Kurama's cute head who gave you a quick lick to the nose?"

They heard Kurama groan.

"I do." He recalled with a smile.

"Well do you remember meeting that not so lady like girl that day?" She teased with a smile.

"What not so lady like girl?"

Naruto began to think to remember something of this not so lady like girl while also being cautious about it because he didn't want to remember what happened during that incident that took place. It was then that Naruto did remember that day when he saw and met that girl. He was playing with Kurama outside in the snow while making a snowman and then Kurama suddenly ran off and Naruto followed finding Kurama with a girl his age at the time petting him. He recalled the heart shaped face, the rose colored hair and the green eyes and then her named popped in his head as he remembered her smile. He looked to his mother with a smile.

"You mean Light." He said with a smile.

"That's right."

"She was with her little sister that day along with her aunt. I recall seeing them sipping some hot chocolate too. She really wasn't ladylike. In fact the appropriate term would be a tom boy."

"Yet you two became friends even with such a short time. You said something to her that made her open up to you and you may not know this but I knew her aunt."

"What?"

"That's right." His mother replied with a wink. "You were going to meet them regardless sooner or later son so we decided to let it play along."

Naruto was now blushing. He even remembered how she gave him the cold shoulder wanting nothing to do with him and in retaliation he threw a snow ball into the back of her head. She was of course pissed but then she cracked a wicked smirk and the two engaged in a snow ball fight. It was then at that time he made her laugh and she actually commended him for his bravery lucky that she decided not to pummel him. It was then she finally introduced herself to him with an alias that was Light.

"You made her smile and she was actually having fun with you when you started that snow ball fight. In fact I remember you two ended up under that mistletoe." She said with a smirk.

Naruto was now red remembering that moment. He remembered the two ending up under that mistletoe that hanged oh so casually from that random tree above their heads.

"That was your first kiss." She teased.

"We were only six years old mom." He said looking away.

"But you liked her and you wanted to spend more time with her."

"It was a phase a crush."

"Maybe it was or maybe it wasn't. I know the difference between a crush and you actually liking someone. Now since you are a big boy I actually have a confession to make about that mistletoe."

Naruto narrowed his eyes at her.

"…Mom did you?"

"I set it up just for you two."

"MOM!" Naruto yelled in a whispering tone. "You were playing match maker with us?! We were six!"

"No I wasn't trying to play match maker with my little boy I promise you with scouts honor. Naruto, you clearly liked her so I thought why not see these two share a cute moment they will both remember for a long time. A kiss under a mistletoe. Did you know that after she went home she talked about you a lot with you'll time spent together?"

"Wait she did?"

"Yes she did. She enjoyed herself. We were actually going to meet with them again in a couple of days because you made her smile and she hasn't smiled since her parents died in an unfortunate car crash. Naruto, I believe she liked you too."

"She did! Wait how do you know?"

"Naruto, I know her aunt. We were friends back in collage. In fact you may not remember but after your father saved you from that incident long ago and when you were brought to the hospital you had a visitor."

"You mean Light was there to see me?"

"Yes. She was worried about you but you were still unconscious. She left you a rose."

"How come I didn't remember her?"

"After the terrible things that happened perhaps you also involuntarily forgot other memories as well with one of them being her. We questioned the doctors why you didn't remember her before check out and he said memory loss and to let you recover those memories on your own. In fact I kept in contact with her aunt back in Tokyo telling her how you were…and one of the questions she asked me was does Naruto remember Light? But I have a feeling someone else was asking that question."

"And I only remember her now."

"I wanted to tell you much sooner, believe me, but the doctors mentioned that telling you things that you don't remember may harm your brain. It looks like he was wrong in that aspect for a precious memory as that one."

She actually sees her son smiling as he was remembering her. He hadn't seen her since that day. In fact she hasn't even told him her real name yet because they barely met on that day becoming friends. When she truly trusted him and respected him she would tell him his real name. He actually remembers a promise he made to her long ago declaring that he will learn her real name and her response was a small smile while muttering idiot.

"I wonder what she looks like now." Naruto wondered aloud.

"Is someone having naughty thoughts?" She teased with that face.

Naruto blushed at his mother.

"No nothing like that! I mean I am just curious and wonder how she is now."

"From what I was told she is a lot colder these days…and with still no boyfriend." She emphasized the still no boyfriend to him. "She scares them off actually. When we all get out of here somehow in some way…we should go see them."

"No."

"What do you mean no?"

There was a slight silence between them.

"Umbrella."

"Oh."

"Thank you mom."

"Hey you may never know. I mean after something like this Umbrella is doomed."

"I don't think so. Remember that asshole Nicholai? He took whatever incriminating evidence I had against the company. Even if I wanted to get it back I have no idea where he could be. Kurama do you have any idea possibly?"

"No." He replied.

"Even if we escape this there is no guarantee that they will even stop chasing me. If I went to her or anyone else I would be putting others in danger. I'm a walking target, a virus in a sense that I spread to others who will be put in harm's way, in Umbrella's way."

"We can always go under a different name."

"Umbrella is everywhere. Now that I know about how I have these abilities I realized that it seems like I have been living in a prison. That we have been living in a prison everywhere we go under the watchful eye of Umbrella and that's my fault."

"Nothing is your fault especially that accusation. It's their fault and they will pay for what they have done taking your father and nearly you as well as Kurama."

"I intend to make them pay for what they have done to me. Each one of us has a reason for Umbrella's downfall." Kurama said.

"I will make them pay." Naruto seethed.

"…Would you at least like to talk to her?"

"What do you mean?"

"After all of this I can have you talk to Light. What's strange is that these days her aunt has mysteriously gone missing and both Light and her little sister now live by themselves in an affordable apartment back in Tokyo."

"I-I don't know."

"I am pretty sure she is terrified like everyone else back in Japan. This whole thing must be broadcasted across the globe on every news station."

"So she and my old friends are watching?"

"Most likely they are. Light knows you moved here as well as a few of your old friends like Sasuke and Kiba, and I am pretty sure that the rest know too."

"…I would like to at least talk to her again…but I don't see that ever happening."

Kushina walked over to Naruto sitting next to her son pulling out her phone which was less than fifty percent battery and he could see her screens brightness was ridiculously low to preserve battery. Naruto even checked his and saw that he was fifty percent as the screen of his phone was a map of Raccoon City. Kushina went into her contacts and she came to a number and took Naruto's phone adding a number into it. After she was done she gave the phone back to him and he saw a new contact added. It said Light F with a phone number.

"That is Light's personal phone number. When this is all over you give her a call and talk to her yourself….Her auntie A told me she mentioned one time how much she misses you."

"She said that?" Naruto asked with a blush.

"She did. Now that you remember her…I am sure you miss her."

"Well I-She was my first friend and I-I don't know stop teasing me. I mean I only knew her for one day."

"Sometimes all it can take is one day sweetie. You ARE going to call her. We ARE going to make it out alive and we ARE going back to Tokyo to see her. You were her first friend too and you two made a special connection."

"How would we even go see them without Umbrella finding us?"

"We go off the grid so they say in those movies and use fake names son."

"And for money?"

"Naruto, money is not an issue for us. Umbrella can't touch it and they have no authorization to our family's funds."

"And how when they are looking for us and especially me?"

"So we'll dye your hair black or something."

Naruto then looked to Kurama who was literally a cybernetic dog.

"Don't worry about me."

"Why not? What if we went on a plane or something?"

"A boat sounds nice." Kushina said.

"If we are going back after all of this then we truly need to drop from the grid like fake our deaths or something."

"Naruto the world right now is assuming everyone is dead. I don't think that will be a problem." Kurama said. "It's just a matter of escaping this city, escaping Umbrella to freedom."

Suddenly Kurama's head perked up.

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked.

"We have company."

"Wolfpack?"

"No. There are only three of them."

"Kurama take mom upstairs, hide and protect her."

"What will you do?"

"I am going to take out the trash."

A total of three U.B.C.S. mercenaries were outside coming to the front door of the arcade. The one up front parts open the door being the first to proceed inside with the other two following after with their rifles aimed. What they see is a nearby kitchen, tables and a bunch of deactivated arcade machines in this barely lite up room.

"What kind of B.O.W. are we hunting here?" U.B.C.S. operative 2 asked.

"It's a new type of B.O.W. that is after an asset to the corporation. We are all dispatched in this shit hole just to find and kill it." U.B.C.S. operative 1 responded.

"What if we run into the asset?" U.B.C.S. operative 3 asked.

"The U.S.S. is the ones charged with finding the asset and capturing him alive. However they never said anything about that for us."

"I head the one they call 9 killed one of Wolfpack mainly the big one." U.B.C.S. operative 2 said.

"You mean BELTWAY? BELTWAY is dead?" U.B.C.S. operative 3 responded rather surprised.

"That's what I heard but it's just rumor."

"Alright enough chit chat and let's split up and search this building." U.B.C.S. operative 1 commanded.

"If I find beer in the fridge I call dibs."

Naruto heard the whole thing as he was backed against one of the arcade cabinets. He was going to have to be careful in this situation. He does not want any noise and it seemed like they didn't either seeing their weapons equipped with silencers. Well that was good for Naruto so he was going to have to go sword and knife. He peeked around his cabinet and away as operative 2 came walking around the corner down the hall with his rifle at the ready with flashlight on. He kept his back to the cabinet as the operative got closer and to Naruto's luck the operative looked the other direction as he past Naruto leaving Naruto to bring up his knife and slit the operative's throat while taking the gun away to prevent him from firing off any shots. The operative falls to his knees clutching his throat gargling his own blood before falling forward dead creating a pool of blood.

Thank goodness that there didn't seem to be any nearby Zombies otherwise they would be overrun with the bleed out from the corpse. Naruto moved onto the next one and his next victim was unfortunate finding him in the kitchen seeing the idiot searching the fridge not finding anything. Naruto silently walked toward the operatives turned back and then came to a stop finding a kitchen blade that was used to chop up rough meat. He sheaths his blade quietly before silently grabbing and lifting up the blade and simply stood behind the operative who turned around only to see Naruto dig the blade into his throat and stab in the spin of his body. The operative was gargling blood falling to his knees and then falls dead leaving one more for Naruto to kill. Naruto found his last man having found Naruto's first victim and he was now on guard with his rifle at the ready.

Naruto was in quick thinking wondering how he was going to take this guy out without alerting him. Sure he was faster and stronger but the point was taking the guy out without him making a sound and that included firing off bullets into the air attracting zombies. The operative was stalking down the rows of arcade games but never noticed Naruto sneaking up behind him low to the ground with his hands ready for what he was about to attempt. When he was close enough he reached his hands forward first removing the magazine of the operatives automatic before taking it away throwing it aside to kicking the surprised U.B.C.S. operative to the floor. The operative rolled back to his feet taking aim with his sidearm but Naruto was faster just in time to press the little button forcing the magazine to fall to the floor before delivering the back of his elbow into the U.B.C.S. operatives ribs making him yelp and flipping him over his body slamming his back into the floor while disarming him.

Naruto steps back while taking the sidearm apart as the U.B.C.S. operative slowly stands back up to his feet drawing his knife now ready to fight. Naruto saw this and instead of drawing his sword from his back he instead reaches for the knife removing it slowly bringing his knife up at the ready swishing it before him before settling. It was then the U.B.C.S. operative realized who this kid was seeing the now faintly glowing red demon slit eyes causing the Umbrella operative to take a step back.

"Holy shit you're him!"

Naruto hold his blade up higher in his form as he takes another step forward causing the U.B.C.S. operative to take two steps back.

"You sick fucking little psychopath look at what you did to my men!"

"That's rich coming from you people." Naruto smirked. "Now you know what its likes to be on the other end of the stick. However I want some answers. I heard you and your men discussing some interesting things. First is why is Umbrella sending just you guys to track down and kill that grudge like abomination bitch that keeps stalking me?"

"Why should I tell you anything brat?"

"One of us is going to die here anyway so you might as well spill it."

"Those U.S.S. bastards called in reinforcements."

"You mean Wolfpack?"

"Yeah word is you killed one of them. They convinced command to send us into this hellhole to kill or possibly capture this new type of B.O.W. while Wolfpack continues its hunt for you, SUBJECT 9."

"So was it worth it then you idiot? Being sent in this little hellhole to protect little me?"

"The U.B.C.S. is mercenaries' kid."

"That's right money talks to you no matter how dangerous the mission."

"That's right and I am willing to bet if I captured you and brought you to command I would get paid double the reward or more."

"You think you can capture me? I don't know if you heard but I have been killing every single one of you caught in my path like flies compared to me and spoiler alerts it's not going to get old anytime soon especially for you."

"We will see about that you little shit!"

The operative rushed Naruto slashing his blade but Naruto backs away panning his head back, left and right avoiding the end of the sharp blade. Naruto countered with his own knife parrying the operatives knife away before Naruto slashes his blade in a upper right diagonal angle forcing the mercenary back as Naruto held his knife to the air and his left palm resting on the floor as he was settled on one knee. The vest of the mercenary hits the floor making him growl in frustration watching Naruto fully stand up lazily looking at him like he was not even a challenge.

"Your done you know. You know that don't you? You're going to die here. You're just a jack of all trades or a criminal that should be in prison somewhere paying for his crimes."

The U.B.C.S. operative got desperate and decides to throw his blade at Naruto however Naruto's eyes glow red and the blade spinning toward him seem to slow down a little but still came at him fast, but it allowed him to effectively lean his form back while moving his right foot back to support his lean and reached out grabbing the end of the blade before throwing it right back stabbing into the mercenaries chest. One second he threw his blade at the kid as fast as he could and the next the kids moves back so fast leaving almost a lens flare of himself in his movement as Naruto was now holding his throwing hand forward watching the mercenary falls to his knees slowly but snakingly touching the hilt of his knife. He falls sideways dead leaves Naruto to fall to his knees struggling to keep something within him at bay as his eyes glow an intense red. Eventually he managed to get it under control and he had a feeling why he was able to do what he just did so quickly and it was because he was slowly letting himself sink into that power within him, and if he had gone to deep it would have been a repeat of the rooftop of the Raccoon City Hospital.

No he couldn't afford to let himself fall into that madness again and risk putting Kurama and his own mother in danger. This told him that he had not come to terms of controlling the power that the Prototype T-Virus bared. He suddenly turned around taking aim with his Samurai Edge only to find himself taking his finger away from the trigger quickly seeing that he was aiming at his own mother. She looked into his red eyes and Naruto realizing what she can see takes cautious steps back lowering his weapon while holding out a hand to her to stay right there as he found himself slouching down against one of the arcade cabinets.

"You see…a monster. Umbrella made me like this. I killed so many of them so far…I was even forced to shoot my own father…and I would've killed you on that roof if it weren't for Kurama. With all this that has happened…how can I even face Light? How can she accept someone no a monster likes me…as even a friend anymore…or more?"

Kurama watched Kushina walk to her son sitting next to him and let Naruto cradle into his mother embracing her into a hug and she held him tight hearing her sooth him telling him that

"Umbrella will indeed pay for this. No one hurts my family and gets away with it." Kurama swore in his thoughts.

"U.B.C.S. Delta Team 6 check in, over?"

That was from the radio of the U.B.C.S. operative that Naruto just killed.

"Delta Team 6 respond…? Delta Team 6 respond! To any nearby and all U.B.C.S. teams Delta Team 6 is not responding. The nearest teams go and check Delta Team 6's last known location being French Street now! It may be the target B.O.W. MOVE IT!"

"Shit!" Naruto cursed aloud standing up.

"They are coming and not just one of them but most likely ALL of the U.B.C.S. reinforcements dispatched into the city." Kurama said having heard the conversation between Naruto and the dead U.B.C.S. operative thanks to his range of hearing.

"We got to move already. God damn it and we just got here to!" Naruto ranted.

"Well then let's get moving then. The more time we waste here the closer they all get." Kushina said collecting her Shotgun.

"It's too late. They are already here." Kurama said in a worried tone.

Outside on French Street there must have been over dozens of U.B.C.S. teams traveling down its path and the worst part about it was that three of them had Flamethrowers allowing them to burn and shoot down through mobs of zombies. This is not good and they were all heading this way. If they made a run for it down the opposite direction perhaps there was a chance of escape but then looking through the windows they can see more U.B.C.S. teams coming down the other direction of French Street. They were trapped and they were closing in from all sides. Was this it? Was this going to be their last stand?

"Kurama, take mom and get out of here!"

"No we are staying here to fight." Kushina said cocking her shotgun before ringing the weapon over her back switching to her side arm.

"Chances of survival are best with us all together in this current situation. I will go to the roof by the roof access ladder and provide cover from above." Kurama says.

Naruto watched as Kurama quickly moved between the three dead Umbrella mercenaries taking their vest equipped with grenades and he then gallops to the ladder and leaps up breaking through the roof access door above taking up a position on the roof. Naruto quickly moves to one of the dead soldiers taking his rifles and he was amazed about his streak of luck throughout this nightmare that the magazines were able to be used with his rifle. He took the three magazines from the soldier and his mother getting the idea takes one from the dead mercenary in the kitchen taking his rounds with her and when regrouping with her son she saw him toss her three more magazines giving her a total of six.

"Mom I want you to do me a favor."

"What is it?" She asked loading her rifle.

"If I die here I want you and Kurama to run."

"What?"

"Can you promise me that?"

"I won't promise you that because it's not going to happen son."

Naruto looked his mother up and down noticing that she was still in her nurse outfit from the hospital and he looked to the dead U.B.C.S. operative next to him and he did look to be his mother's fit. She watched as her son began removing the dead operatives gear for her and she knew what he was doing. No less than two minutes later Kushina was wearing the black combat boots, beige colored fatigue pant with a green fatigue shirt but seeing the U.B.C.S. logo on the shoulders of the shirt she rips off the short sleeves leaving both her arms bare and slides on a black bullet proof vest while lastly she put on the black fingerless gloves. Naruto can see that in less than two minutes time the front of the arcade was going to be covered with the teams and they would put two and two together knowing they were here. Kushina holsters her side arm in a drop leg holster and rings her shotgun once again behind her as she readies herself with her rifle much like Naruto was right now.

"You sure you know how to use that rifle?"

"Your father taught me how to use these kinds of weapons son." She replied making a ponytail with her long hair.

"Wow dad." Naruto muttered with a smile.

Naruto and Kushina took cover and he peeks overseeing the only three U.B.C.S. operatives coming up the street and about to arrive just outside their stores windows, and the same could be said for the other teams coming down the other street about to converge as they all begin turning their heads at the arcade.

"Those men with the flamethrowers are going to be a problem." Kushina whispered.

Suddenly from above the roof of the arcade a lone grenade is seen hitting the street bouncing and rolling to a stop before the three wielding flamethrower U.B.C.S. operatives. They knew the obvious was to run but if Kurama hadn't cooked the grenade to go off in less than four second they probably would have escaped alive before it blew up in their faces sending them flying. This caused the rest of the U.B.C.S. soldiers to duck behind the vehicles crashed and bunched together. Naruto aims from behind cover around a set up arcade cabinet and fires off his rifle taking out a U.B.C.S. operative and his mother did the same with one of her bullets hitting another U.B.C.S. solider dead in the head. The two ducked back behind cover as the U.B.C.S. engaged with both Naruto and Kushina sitting behind their cover slightly duck their heads hearing the bullets flying over their heads and shooting through the game cabinets above their heads.

Once again another grenade comes landing near some U.B.C.S. soldiers and upon seeing it they ran as fast as they could jumping forward as the grenade goes off and for one unfortunate U.B.C.S. soldier that was behind a vehicle as cover the shockwave behind the grenade was powerful enough to flip his cover over on top of him. Some of the U.B.C.S. soldiers saw Kurama's head above a ledge of the arcade's roof duck down after throwing the grenade and so they began shooting at the roof as well.

"Command we made contact with some survivors and they are well armed. We need a B.O.W. at our location now!"

"Roger that we are requesting and sending in a fresh T-103 unit with an eta of three minutes." U.B.C.S. Command responded over radio.

Kurama peeks over his ledge cover from atop the roof and if he had eyes they would widen because he was now looking at a single U.B.C.S. soldier armed with an RPG taking aim at him. Seeing this Kurama gallops away quickly before the rocket blows away where he was just ducked behind but the shockwave sent Kurama flying and crashing into the opposite building wall before crashing to the alley floor unconscious. Naruto having just saw this was wide eyed because they just fired a fucking rocket launched and if they decided to fire any of those at him and her directly they were dead. Naruto even just realized that Kurama was the one on the roof and when remembering such he began trying to contact with Kurama hoping he was okay. He couldn't continue attempt in contacting Kurama because he was too bust ducking from gunfire from outside as his mother fired off a few shots at them before ducking back in cover.

"Cover me!" Naruto yelled to Kushina before running to the back of the store.

Naruto kicked open a cleaning supply closet and to his luck and for some reason he found a propane tank in this closet of all places and a total of three actually. Naruto grabbed two of the canisters of propane tank and ran back to where his mother was at taking cover behind a wall right next to the large opened windows of the front of the store. Kushina saw what was in his hands and she exchanged a nod with him. Naruto peeked around cover seeing where a group of them was at real quick and threw one of the propane tanks out toward them in the street and Kushina seeing it aims from around cover, takes in and holds in a breath steadying herself as she aimed down the sights of her rifle and fires off a single shot blowing the propane tank up killing at least six U.B.C.S. soldiers caught within its blast radius as well as setting some flame to the ground and upon some cars. Naruto threw the last canister in his possession down the opposite direction of French Street to firing off a single shot from his Samurai Edge killing at least four more of the U.B.C.S. That helped them a lot but unfortunately for the two even though there were less numbers of them outside to fight they still had one Tyrant B.O.W. coming their way, and it was armed.

Suddenly that is when everyone heard the sound of a helicopter approaching and it was one of Umbrella as it came hovering over French Street turning itself around letting its back door open. Dropping down and landing atop a car crushing it in half was a T-103 looking like your normal standard Tyrant with the overcoat and all. However its coat was black with black boots as well and it had what looked to be a mount of machinery around its head mainly covering its eyes red in color. Now every one of these B.O.W.'s usually fought with its fists and all but this one was armed…with the biggest metallic stainless steel battle axe that Naruto has ever seen and it gave off an electric current through the blade of its axe. This was actually called TEx-103 and if you thought the standard one was tough these prototype models were even stronger as well as aggressive while still lacking in speed due to its size.

"What the fuck is that Naruto?" Kushina asked her son as she stared wide eyed.

"Get behind cover mom now!"

TEx-103 gave out a roar before it suddenly sprints forward leaping through and crashing through the window as well as any wall structure it crashed through while Kushina leaped over a counter safely in the kitchen now as Naruto leaped out of its way. Naruto recovered himself in a roll taking aim with his rifle as the TEx-103 turned his direction with its large axe in hand. The B.O.W. slowly stalked toward him as Naruto fires off bullets into its chest as he backed away and when it got close enough it swung its axe but Naruto ducked rolling under its legs in evasion as the large axe toppled over and in half arcade cabinets. Naruto aimed at its back firing off more rounds but it didn't seem to faze the new B.O.W. at all as it turns around while back swinging its axe causing Naruto to duck under the large axe head going over his head knocking more arcade cabinets in half or away throughout the store. It then brought its axe overhead swinging it down only for Naruto sidesteps in evasion evading the large head of the axe slamming through the concrete tile floor but the B.O.W. counters against Naruto backhanding him across the face flying across the room while losing the grip of his rifle as he slams against the wall giving out a painful yelp before he falls into a heap.

Naruto used the wall as support to pick himself back up sliding up against it giving his head a quick shake before he suddenly ducks as the large axe stabs into the wall above him and the TEx-103 is seen suddenly sprinting at him from across the room only to crash through the wall with its axe as Naruto rolled away in evasion. The TEx-103 crashed through the wall landing in the back area where the broom closet with Naruto seeing that he left the broom closet left open with the only canister of propane left. Naruto would take the shot but he was still dazed as the B.O.W. slowly stands itself back up turning around to face the downed Naruto but then Naruto notices out of the corner of his eye his own mother taking aim from over the counter, and then she fires off a single shot at the canister in the broom closet. The TEx-103 was sent flying over Naruto's head on fire from the explosion as it was flying back out the front windows of the arcade and crashing upon a car crushing it and with the fire spreading upon the vehicle it blows up.

Naruto looked to his mother taking in air and she gives him thumbs up followed by a wink with Naruto giving what you would call a lazy thumb up from over the shoulder. With a groan Naruto sat himself up as his mother asks aloud.

"Are you okay sweetie?"

Naruto held up a finger asking her to give him a minute.

"What was that like?"

"Felt like I was hit by a train…"

Gunfire came flying over their heads putting them both back in combat mode as Naruto slides himself to new cover and Kushina ducking back behind the kitchen counter. There were only a few of them left out there and he was sure they were fuming at the face that they had just already lost their B.O.W. and that's another millions of dollars from Umbrella's pocket down the drain.

Meanwhile from Wallace Street the remainder of WOLFPACK exited back out into the streets having just finished searching a small hotel building. LUPO, BERTHA, SPECTRE, VECTOR and FOUR EYES emerged out into the currently clear street and for the past five minutes they have been hearing those continued gunshots from afar and just heard an explosion.

"I don't like the sound of that." BERTHA mused.

"That gunfire's been going on for a good five minutes now." VECTOR pointed out.

"Could just be survivors." SPECTRE pointed out.

"Normal survivors wouldn't last this long against even one team of the U.B.C.S. like this. I wouldn't say it was cops either as most of them has been wiped out. Let's not forget that the U.B.C.S. is just mercenaries that just like to pull the trigger and ask questions later. I don't want to think who it I think they are trying to kill right now. Hope I'm wrong…for our sakes." VECTOR replies.

"So either they are just shooting some well-equipped survivors which is a stretch or who they are actually shooting at is-," FOUR EYES says but LUPO finishes her outspoken train of thought.

"Our target!" LUPO finished before immediately contacting U.S.S. Command. "Command this is WOLFPACK come in!"

"This is command what is it? Have you found SUBJECT 9?"

"We have a more worrying problem at hand. We can hear gunfire coming from nearby from U.B.C.S. forces for the past five minutes so far."

"What of it? They are most likely trying to kill some survivors or trying to kill or capture that new B.O.W. pursuing the target."

"You can't think its survivors lasting this long against the U.B.C.S. because from what we can tell from gunfire there are a lot of bodies over there."

"What are you…? Oh NO! WOLFPACK move it! We will contact U.B.C.S. Command and deal with this!"

"Let's move! They are probably shooting out target!"

LUPO and the rest of the pack run as fast as they can.

"Shit!" VECTOR cursed aloud running with his team.

"Go! Go! Go!"

Returning to French Street the remaining few U.B.C.S. soldiers continue their engagement with Naruto and Kushina in the arcade and when Naruto shoots back it looks like his rifle finally after what seemed like the longest time reached its limit as his gun gave out chink sound signaling that he was empty.

"Fuck!" Naruto cursed aloud throwing the weapon aside to pulling out his MK.23 pistol.

As the U.B.C.S. continued to fire they can hear from their radios that U.B.C.S. Command was contacted by U.S.S. Command of all people.

"U.B.C.S. Command come in NOW!"

"This is U.B.C.S. Command to U.S.S. Command over?"

"Who are your units currently engaged with? What's the enemy?!"

"Assumed ordinary survivors sir."

"You say assumed? Are you fucking kidding me right now?! Order your teams to cease fire and have your trigger happy fuck heads confirmed these are "ordinary" survivors? YOU COULD BE SHOOTING THE FUCKING TARGET!"

"This is U.B.C.S. Command to U.B.C.S. units cease fire immediately! I repeat cease fire and confirm confirmation of the current enemy! Your current enemy is suspected to be one of Umbrella's number one priority targets SUBJET 9. Confirm with visual confirmation."

The U.B.C.S. operatives listened removing their fingers from the trigger of their weapons as one of them pulls out a small scope spying the inside of the arcade from behind cover.

"SUBJECT 9 is male, 15 years of age with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is armed with a sword on his back and is harbinger to the Prototype T-Virus. Confirm visually." U.B.C.S. Command reminds.

It was then that the soldier spying the inside sees some peeking out from behind cover wondering why the stop in gunfire and he can tell that it was a young male with blue eyes and blonde hair.

"U.B.C.S. Command we can confirm that the current enemy is SUBJECT 9."

"DON'T KILL HIM! Do you understand me? If he is killed the corporation will not take kindly to this. Non-lethal rounds and use only! U.S.S. WOLFPACK is on the way to your location. Block any possible exits they can use to escape until WOLFPACK gets there!" U.S.S. Command responds.

"Confirmed." U.B.C.S. Command responds.

Remember the B.O.W. TEx-103 that blew up with the car? Well they all noticed a rising figure out of the fire that slowly gets back up to its feet and it begins making its way slowly back toward the arcade with its now flaming form.

"Hold on am I reading a P-TEx-103 in the area of current conflict? What are its programmed commands?!" U.S.S. Command demanded.

"Affirmative sir and its current programmed commands are kill on sight." U.B.C.S. Command responds.

"Set its commands to capture on sight immediately!"

"…Negative sir the Tyrant seems to be malfunctioning."

"THEN SHOOT IT GOD DAMN IT! Don't let it try to kill the target!"

"U.B.C.S. teams kill the Tyrant!"

The remaining members of the U.B.C.S. turned their guns on their own B.O.W. and open fire on it grabbing its attention.

"Move your asses WOLFPACK!" U.S.S. Command ordered over coms.

"We're almost there eta three minutes!" LUPO responded over coms.

Naruto noticed how that damn B.O.W. was back up now aflame but also noticing that the U.B.C.S. was now concentrated on killing it grabbing its attention as it walks off toward the U.B.C.S.

"What the fuck is going on right now?" Naruto asked aloud.

"We got to get out of here while we still have the chance." Kushina said aloud.

Naruto agreed and ran to the back door with her forcing their way out of it into the alley and spot Kurama who had barely just awoken picking itself back up with them both running to his side.

"I am ok." Kurama responded.

"We're getting out of here while we still have the chance."

Suddenly that is when they noticed what looked to be saliva dripping from above their heads and when all three of them looked up! Guess whose back?

"Why am I not surprised?" Naruto seethed.

Bloody Mary was suspended with its limbs between the alley walls screeching down at Naruto in particular.

"RUN!" Naruto yells.

The Bloody Mary drops down on their position landing a few feet behind them but it immediately begins crawling after them down the alley. As Kurama ran with Naruto and Kushina he was able to throw one of the grenades back and it bounced into the Bloody Mary's face blowing up dazing and stunning it. Naruto, Kushina and Kurama had no choice but to run back into the open of French Street and in fact Naruto had an idea as he guided his dog and mother taking a sudden left instead of continuing forward.

"What are you doing?" Kurama asked aloud.

"Trust me!" Naruto yelled as Bloody Mary came screeching from around the corner continuing chase.

The remainder of the U.B.C.S. soldiers was all firing upon the TEx-103 as they saw it slam another U.B.C.S. across the air crashing into a building wall splattering blood from the back of the soldier's skull. This is when Naruto, Kushina and Kurama emerged upon the street with the Tyrant and U.B.C.S. soldiers with Naruto signaling both Kurama and Kushina to go the other direction and they did as told running down the other way. The reason was because the Bloody Mary or Lady Licker if you will was chasing after him like some obsession for these past hours. Naruto ran toward the Tyrant and the B.O.W. noticed Naruto coming straight at him before Naruto leaps atop the roof of a car diving up and over it. Naruto's plan was a success as the Lady Licker came leaping over the car crashing into the Tyrant now both in a struggle and putting more stress on the remaining U.B.C.S. soldiers now shooting upon both of them but then again they now had SUBJECT 9 in the mix as he came landing between two of them.

The two U.B.C.S. soldiers turn their rifles to take aim but Naruto was much faster as he spins his form kicking a rifle out of one of their hands disarming him while turning to the other bringing up his left palm pushing the barrel of the rifle away making him fire off shoots in another direction. Naruto then quickly kicked his right foot into the soldiers gut making him lean over before Naruto turned back around to the now knife armed U.B.C.S. soldier as he swung his right hand forward to stab Naruto. Naruto however turns his form with his back to him bringing up his right forearm stopping the knife's progression before delivering the back of his left elbow into the soldiers gut. This caused the one behind Naruto to lean forward allowing Naruto to ring his right arm around the soldiers head flipping him up and over slamming his back into the ground before he kicks back his right foot into the underside of the soldier's chin snapping his neck. The one before Naruto then once again took aim with his rifle but once again the boy was faster as his eyes glow that red color as Naruto sprints forward forcing the weapon up once again with his left hand before punching up the bottom of the soldier's right elbow snapping it. This of course caused the soldiers to yelp aloud in pain as his gun falls to the ground but the U.B.C.S. soldier counters by reaching down to his knife with his left hand slashing if for Naruto's face but the boy ducks under the blade while twirling his form around the soldier now behind him delivering the bottom of his left foot into the back of the soldiers leg forcing him to one knee, and Naruto quickly drawing MK.23 pointing it into the back of the soldiers head before blowing his brains out.

Naruto was then forced to leap away as the car next to him was crushed as both the Tyrant and Lady Licker were in a struggle. However seeing what Naruto did triggered the remaining seven U.B.C.S. operatives to open fire on him as they made him run for cover behind a truck. Naruto couldn't move from his position due to the gunfire but then Wolfpack finally makes their entry on French Street and they saw the situation. The TEx-103 Tyrant was in a struggle with the Bloody Mary creature that has been chasing their objective now seeing the two creature's crash through a building wall. Then there was the other situation spotting nine but he was behind cover with no way out seeing the remaining members of the U.B.C.S. unleashing their fire upon him without care.

"Command they are trying to kill the target!" LUPO shouted as she and her team ran forward.

"Don't let those idiots kill the target! Kill them. Kill all of them!"

LUPO, VECTOR, BERTHA, SPECTRE and FOUR EYES take aim with their rifles opening fire upon the remainder of the U.B.C.S. who immediately retaliate back firing upon the U.S.S. operatives that were the remainder of the infamous Wolfpack. Naruto seeing Wolfpack he was of course annoyed but at least Kurama and his mother weren't here. The attention was not on him so he runs once more but he was not surprised when he saw VECTOR noticing his actions and watches as VECTOR vanishes from sight presuming giving chase after him as he runs up another alley consisted of separate buildings. As Naruto ran he aimed back firing off two rounds and VECTOR actually shimmers out of nothingness leaping behind a dumpster taking cover from Naruto's gunfire. VECTOR only gave chase as soon as Naruto stopped firing no longer bothering to go into his stealth mode.

VECTOR ran down the alley turning around a corner to his right barely seeing Naruto climbing up and emergency escape ladder. The U.S.S. operative rings his rifle behind him before he makes a break for the ladder.

"This is VECTOR I am in pursuit of the target!"

VECTOR used the wall as a stepping stone enabling him to leap higher upon the ladder now chasing Naruto up the stairs.

"Who the fuck are you?" Naruto demanded aloud.

"Stop running Naruto!" VECTOR demanded.

Of course the target wasn't going to listen as he saw Naruto two stairs above suddenly leap through an open window into the buildings fifth floor. VECTOR cursed seeing Naruto do that and when he came to the open window he dive rolls in and when on his feet quickly loads pistol with non-lethal tranquilizer rounds aiming around the room he was in with the target not in sight. VECTOR then spots the only open door out into a hallway cautiously moving toward the door to slamming it closed finding that Naruto was not hiding behind the door but then he obeyed his senses telling him to roll out of the way. It's a good thing he obeyed as multiple gunshots erupted through the door he just closed from the sounds of a pistol and it was from Naruto of course followed by his footsteps retreating. VECTOR immediately once again gives chase sighting Naruto running down the hallway until Naruto suddenly came to a stop seeing a Hunter B.O.W. break down a door ahead of him roaring at him.

VECTOR picks up the pace but suddenly from above the ceiling caves in and landing in front of him blocking his path was another Hunter B.O.W. The Hunter rushes VECTOR who counters ducking under the creatures swung arm twirling past under the creatures arm while slashing his knife across its rib area making it turn back to him screeching. Naruto had his own Hunter to deal with as he was leaping back avoiding his Hunters razor sharp claws before he draws his sword slashing off the next arm that came swinging at him. The Hunter leaped back and away from Naruto in response before howling aloud and turns tail to run off the opposite direction to its right giving Naruto a clear path. VECTOR on the other hand ducks under another swung from his Hunters arm countering with a round house kick before activating his stealth vanishing and seconds later he appears low before the Hunter stabbing his knife from under its head striking the brain before violently pulling his blade out spreading the B.O.W.'s blood on the wall. VECTOR then had to duck down and use the B.O.W.'s body as cover as Naruto was shooting at him and thankfully for the dead creatures back which was consisted of strong scales it acted as a shield.

Naruto quickly turns running once again with VECTOR immediately giving chase after him seeing Naruto going right and as VECTOR was giving chase down the hall he sees the Hunter that Naruto fought with one arm short give chase after Naruto. When VECTOR rounded the corner he gave chase after the B.O.W. and Naruto ringing his rifle into his hands firing into the Hunter's back getting its attention forcing it to stop and turn around screeching at VECTOR. However VECTOR pulls out a Shuriken Bomb throwing it stabbing into the floor before the creatures with VECTOR front flipping over it to safely landing on his feet giving chase after Naruto, and as for the Hunter it was killed thanks to the Shuriken Bomb detonating in its face. Naruto breaks open a door to his left with his shoulder with VECTOR barely rounding the end of the hallway seeing him break in and slams his back against the wall.

He takes a peek inside only to back away as bullets came flying blowing away pieces of the doorway but he did see the kind of room that Naruto broke into. It was a large room with many shelves having a variety of objects occupying them as well as some of those objects on the floor with one of the shelves toppled over. There were even pieces of furniture with blankets covering them to protect them from dust. This was this buildings storing closet of sorts from what VECTOR can tell. Naruto was inside behind one of the metallic shelves with his MK.23 at the ready while VECTOR removed his lethal rounds and switched it with another magazine that was compromised of darts being non-lethal.

"There is no way out of here Naruto. You made a bad call running in this room and you're now cornered. The rest of my pack will be here soon once they finish their business and you're done, your running over. Just give yourself up now! If you do perhaps you can work an arrangement with Umbrella. You can deal yourself over in exchange for your mother and dogs safety. Do this and everyone gets out of Raccoon City RIGHT NOW."

"No deal!"

Naruto rounds around his cover firing off another four shots where he saw VECTOR peek around the corner once more forcing him to retreat his head and then fire back forcing Naruto back behind cover.

"Then you are a fool!"

"Me the fool? You're the one who is working for a company like Umbrella. Do you really think I am an idiot? We both know that even if I took that kind of deal Umbrella would never hold up to their end of a bargain. You call me a fool but you're the real fool. Do you really think Umbrella gives a shit about you or anyone else on your team? I was supposed to be an easy snatch and grab remember? The previous team your company sent failed and they sent yours to clean up their screw up. They don't care if you live or die. Once you are all killed they will just send in another. So who's the real fool here, fool?"

VECTOR proceeded inside the room quickly running behind one of the shelves taking cover from Naruto's gunfire.

"You think we don't know that. It's true we are expandable but we never asked to come here after you. However imagine my surprise when I learned it was you, Naruto Namikaze, which was my primary target."

"How would knowing I was your target surprise you? You don't call me by codename but you refer to me on a first name basis as if you know me? Why would you tell me things like you did at the school that you shouldn't tell me about? Why are you more protective of me then the rest of your team? Answer me VECTOR! Tell me! WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!"

"…I am a shadow of my former self, a stain where light will never shine. I am a man who lives a life of deception. I am a man who needs no name. I am VECTOR." He said before activating stealth vanishing.

Meanwhile Kurama and Kushina have arrived on Wallace Street finding an empty garage with a single dead zombie inside and both of them sealed it off shutting themselves inside now safe, and Naruto still out there. They can still even hear the gunshots.

"We shouldn't have done that! I shouldn't have done that! I am his mother for god sakes!"

"Kushina he did that because of that creature. The odds were stacked against us. If we stayed with Naruto he would be more concerned about your safety."

"I can hold my own!"

"You are all he has left." Kurama responds sitting down.

"Don't count yourself out Kurama." Kushina said sitting down in a chair across from him.

"Naruto will be fine. Don't worry he will contact me when he is done."

"Why not contact him now?"

"Because I don't want to break his focus and right now in this nightmare he is going to need all the concentration he can get."

"Then you go back to him right now."

"What?"

"Go right now Kurama! Go and help my son."

"I can't do that."

"Why can't you?"

"The reason is because I swore to protect you and to never leave your side."

"…God damn you Naruto." She muttered with a sniffle following.

Kurama walked to a door using his tail to turn the knob but not open it.

"I am going to go and scour some food for you. Kushina, for Naruto's sake don't leave this room. If you went back you would only cause more problems for him right now then helping him solve them. You know this to be true."

"…I know. I'm not going anywhere."

"Naruto will be here soon. I promise you."

Kurama parted open the door closing it behind him.

Returning to French Street the Bloody Mary/Lady Licker screeches aloud as it snaps the Tyrants neck to making it fall to its knees to then ripping off its head from its shoulders. LUPO, BERTHA, SPECTRE and FOUR EYES finished off the remaining U.B.C.S. operatives and now their focus was shifted to the Bloody Mary that sniffs the air to then looking to the building that Naruto and VECTOR were currently in and was in particular looking at the fifth floor level. The rest of Wolfpack notices this and knowing that this creature was after their target in particular like some sick obsession LUPO takes a glance at the building realizing that VECTOR wasn't with them.

"So the target is in that building huh? VECTOR must be in pursuit. That damn man." LUPO said.

The Wolfpack takes a knee quietly as the creature has not yet noticed them. LUPO contacts command.

"U.S.S. Command this is Wolfpack. We have successfully stopped the U.B.C.S. troops but we have another problem."

"What now?"

"It's the creature sir. It killed off the TEx-103 Tyrant and its here for the target, and it KNOWS he's here. VECTOR is absent so we have to assume he is currently in pursuit of the target in the current target building. This creature is a big problem. It seems non killable. We are requesting heavy artillery air support danger close."

"From this moment on the corporation has labeled the creature a threat to the target. No matter what happens that creature must not kill the target. Remember Wolfpack if Naruto Namikaze dies then you are all going to die in Raccoon City. We have agreed to grant your request for air support and it is on its way to your location. Finish that damn thing off."

"Copy that command."

The Bloody Mary turns its sights on them and it slowly looks back at the building before slowly looking back at them baring its teeth hissing aloud at them. The Bloody Mary knows why they were here and on its hind legs it begins moving in a jog before breaking out toward them into a sprint with LUPO widening her eyes as the creature realized they were after what she was after.

"Holy shit!" LUPO cursed aloud as her and her fire team open fire.

Wolfpack evades in opposite direction separating as the Bloody Mary came leaping the rest of the way slamming down its main two arms denting the street with its fists. BERTHA came dashing in with her blade slashing the back of the creatures shins making it screech falling to its knees while FOUR EYES came in leaping on its back grabbing one of its bones as support and injects her gun into the creatures back. She was taking a sample of the creature as the tube can be seen filling up with its blood while LUPO and SPECTRE were firing upon the creatures front as the Bloody Mary riled about before it had enough managing to grab FOUR EYES off its back before throwing her away through the air slamming into the side of a car unconscious. BERTHA rushed over for support to check the damage in the heat of this current battle while LUPO and SPECTRE kept the creatures attention on them.

LUPO rushed forward sliding under the creature's arm that swiped for her and under the creatures legs but at the same time she did she left a grenade as a present between its legs with SPECTRE following up with a single shot to the creatures face. This distracted the creature to grab its own face as the grenade below it blows up sending the creature flying forward over SPECTRE who ducks avoiding collision with the creature crashing over some cars riling about.

"Douse it in flames!" LUPO ordered.

Both LUPO and SPECTRE threw Incendiary Grenades upon the creatures location setting it ablaze with the creature obviously not like fire in the least as it can be seen riling about toppling over cars while the two members of Wolfpack continued to fire upon the creature. In the meantime BERTHA managed to wake FOUR EYES up.

"Where's my sample?" She asked almost frantically.

"You idiot this is not the time for samples!"

She found it and was thankful it was intact ejecting the tube from inside.

"Why the hell were you even risking taking a sample of that damn thing anyway?"

"It's insurance."

The spinning blades of multiple MH-6 Little Bird Helicopters caught all of Wolfpacks ears as BERTHA and FOUR EYES join back by LUPO and SPECTRE's side.

"It's about damn time." LUPO said.

Returning to Naruto he no longer heard VECTOR talking and was now met with absolute silence. He realized that VECTOR must have utilized that cloaking technology. Naruto removed his back from his cover taking aim in the direction he was facing moving about the room slowly while keeping his sense of feel top notch at the moment. Having a virus alter your senses to such a level was a good benefit. It was then that Naruto suddenly heard a creak and so he aims down to his right firing off shots forcing VECTOR to deactivate his stealth while jumping for cover at the same time. Naruto's eyes glowed red succumbing himself into the power of the virus inside him with the risks of going mad with power on his mind. He dashed forward while VECTOR rounded around the corner shooting tranquiller rounds this time from his pistol and Naruto sees the bullets coming at him still fast but if he reacts quick enough he could dodge and that's what he did as he spun his form horizontally to his left evading the tranquilizers while aiming his pistol at VECTOR shooting at the same time.

VECTOR rolls forward in evasion dodging the bullets while Naruto quickly moved up and suddenly the two found each other aiming their pistols in one another's faces.

"You're empty." VECTOR pointed out.

"So are you." Naruto replied as his eyes were no longer giving off that glow.

VECTOR suddenly lets his gun drop to the floor with Naruto making the mistake to watch it as if falls as VECTOR smacks Naruto's pistol across the room disarming him. VECTOR then quickly rounds forward his rifle but Naruto kicks it away out of VECTOR's hands across the room disarming him. Naruto draws his sword slashing his blade forward but suddenly VECTOR caught Naruto's blade between the palms of his hands disarming the sword away from Naruto's grasp. VECTOR then performed a kick to Naruto's chest forcing the teen back with Naruto striking up a stance making his eyes glow red once more. VECTOR seeing this slowly reached for the pouch behind him and pulled out what looked like a Syringe holding it out to Naruto as if presenting.

"Is that?"

"It's no viral dosage. No nothing of the sort. I knew that with you carrying the Prototype T-Virus it would give you these benefits if you prefer calling them that. This right here is simply my counter to it. You can say it's like a muscle enhancer. That and other things."

"Then I won't give you the chance!"

Naruto moved forward but VECTOR countered him having predicted it. He took his chance stabbing the syringe into his neck injecting it before he removes and drops it to the floor while giving off a growl. He turned around facing Naruto and popping his neck. Naruto charged forward swinging his right fist but VECTOR brought up his left arms parrying his strike away before countering with his right fist across Naruto's face sending him across the floor. Naruto felt that as he picked himself up grabbing his jaw. That hurt. VECTOR's strength has been increased and so has his speed apparently. VECTOR walked over to Naruto who retaliates with a kick but VECTOR catches the leg and throws Naruto into one of the shelves knocking it over.

"Now give it up Naruto and lets just all get out of here already. Don't make me do this." VECTOR said walking toward Naruto.

"I'm not asking you." Naruto said standing back up.

VECTOR attacks with a kick only for Naruto to duck under it countering him with a uppercut staggering VECTOR back following up with a leap delivering a kick of his own sending VECTOR across the floor. VECTOR rolls himself backwards avoiding Naruto who leaped toward him slamming his foot and when VECTOR was back on his feet he delivers a punch forward only for Naruto to rings his right arm around the U.S.S. operatives arm to leaping up and kneeing VECTOR in the face but at the same time VECTOR kicked him straight in the chest with both hitting the floor once more. VECTOR ran forward seeing Naruto stand himself up the U.S.S. operative used one of the shelves to kick off of delivering a kick across Naruto's face sending Naruto spinning on his feet slamming into the opposite shelf. VECTOR seeing the opportunity to knock him out delivers a kick aimed for the back of Naruto's head but Naruto ducked with VECTOR's boot colliding with the shelf as Naruto counters by leaping up and kicking both his feet into VECTOR's chest sending him once again across the floor.

Naruto then sprints forward at VECTOR and kicks him across the face returning the favor and collects his empty MK.23 and grabbing his sword. Naruto then felt his senses warning him to look out behind him and he turns around just in time blocking and locking with VECTOR's knife with his sword with the two now glaring one another face to face.

"You fight like your old man."

"How the hell would you know how he fights?"

Naruto head butts VECTOR's mask breaking one of the mask's eyes no longer glowing blue. VECTOR backed away holding his hand over his mask's broken eye and when he brought down his hand Naruto saw the color of his eye being onyx in color. VECTOR rushed Naruto and he began slashing his knife at Naruto to disable him but Naruto kept blocking each strike with his sword but VECTOR got the drop on Naruto creating an opening parrying Naruto's sword over his head before VECTOR spins his form delivering another kick to Naruto's chest sending him tumbling across the floor. VECTOR sheathed his knife collecting his rifle cocking it now ready to fire and he takes aim firing at the downed Naruto who rolls away along the floor evading all the tranquilizers. VECTOR heard Naruto's footsteps telling him he was running for the only exit out of the room and VECTOR moved to intercept sprinting across the room but then suddenly Naruto comes into his view and to his surprise he sees Naruto giving him a smirk tossing a GRENADE to VECTOR's feet, Naruto running out the door, and VECTOR stopping in his tracks running away while shouting aloud.

"Shit!"

VECTOR dives away as the grenade goes off and it actually caused part of the floor to cave in. Naruto almost lost his balance as he ran down the hall as the floor and part of the wall behind him caves in. He was sure that would slow that VECTOR of all people down. Naruto turned away but then suddenly he was grabbed from behind now in a full nelson by VECTOR.

"Are we going somewhere Naruto?"

Naruto smirked looking at VECTOR over his shoulder.

"I hope you enjoy the fall."

"What fall?"

"This one!"

Naruto forced both him and VECTOR crashing through a glass window where the remainder of Wolfpack was firing upon the Bloody Mary riling about in flame. Naruto and VECTOR crash land upon the top of a car with both of them groaning in pain with Naruto rolling himself off the vehicle dropping to the street while VECTOR was still gaining his bearings. Naruto takes advantage of the situation running down French Street in the opposite direction right as a total of three MH-6 Little Bird Helicopters came resting in the air aiming down at the Bloody Mary.

The three helicopters firing their Gatling guns upon the Bloody Mary below making the creature rile about in pain before they suddenly fire rockets around the creatures area blowing it up in flame with the street around the creature caving in, and all that could be heard was the roar of the creature falling. The three helicopters seeing their job done then fly off while at the same time Naruto reached the end of the street looking back on the scene to then noticing VECTOR managing himself to a knee taking aim and firing his rifle. His tranquilizers spark next to Naruto's feet forcing him to run and vanish from VECTOR's sight before the U.S.S. operative collapses off the vehicle hitting the street groaning. Wolfpack was by his side in an instant.

"The target is getting away." He groaned pointing in said direction.

They all look down the street not seeing Naruto anywhere in sight.

"Shit!" LUPO cursed.

"He got away…again." SPECTRE said.

"He's getting stronger…" VECTOR said picking himself up using the car as support.

"What are you talking about?" BERTHA asked.

"The virus in him…It may be slow but he slowly realizing its power. The kid was able to dodge three of my shots from less twenty feet of range. Remember how he went crazy on the roof of the hospital? He's trying to hold himself back from going that far again. If we don't capture that kid soon he is going too bonded well enough with the virus to a point he could take care of us on his own."

"He banged you up pretty good this time." BERTHA mentioned looking him over and she noticed a hold in the fabric of his neck area. "You injected yourself with something here?"

"It was an experimental enhancement drug made by the corporation."

"Oh yes I have heard of that. It makes you faster and stronger."

"…The kid got the drop on me though much to my surprise. He was just down there…he got away."

"Fuck!" LUPO cursed. "We're never going to get out of this damn city."

"U.S.S. Command to Delta Team come in, over."

"That's them…" BERTHA muttered.

"…This is Delta Team." LUPO responded.

"What is the status of the situation?"

"The creature seems to be dead for good this time…"

"What about the target?"

The members of Wolfpack looked amongst one another.

"…Target escaped command."

"WHAT?! YOU LOST HIM AGAIN?! How many times do we have to tell you that failure is not an option? Do you all want to die in Raccoon City? This is unacceptable! How is a fifteen year old boy giving you and your team such a hard time? Management is not going to be happy about this…You may have just sealed your fate Delta Team."

"Actually Management is not going to want to do that." FOUR EYES said cutting in.

"What do you mean? What makes you so sure?"

"This."

FOUR EYES brought her collected sample up to her wrist that seemed to scan the sample and it was sent to U.S.S. Command.

"What in the world? What is this Delta Team? What have you collected?"

"This sample is from the creature we just killed and my readings show that this is new viral strain being a combination of the T and G viruses."

"In other words this is our insurance." LUPO responds.

"Hmm? The corporation would certainly want to have a sample like this in its hands a new type of viral strain and one that appears to be mutated. Well it seems this sample increases your chances of getting out of Raccoon City…however little that may be."

"Command we are still going after him."

"Very well Wolfpack your mission is still on but know this. Management may know you have a new viral strain but unless you have the target with you your chances of leaving the city alive are still slim at this point. Don't screw this up Wolfpack. Contact us when you have the target. Terminating transmission."

As soon as it was LUPO pushed out a window of a nearby car.

"Let me look at that." BERTHA said in an almost annoyed tone as she walked over looking at LUPO's hand.

"…We're never going to get out of here."

"We are running low on ammo. I suggest we find one of our safe houses to rest and restock. He's not going anywhere anyway." SPECTRE suggested.

LUPO was giving VECTOR that suspicious look as the man was still recovering not noticing LUPO's eyes on him.

"…Yes. We actually have much to discuss." LUPO responded as she started noticing zombies entering the area. "Let's move."

Naruto was now currently somewhere along Good Street and he managed to find himself a safe location and it was in a small convenient store as he quickly entered to closing the shutters over the door and windows themselves. He was now in pitch darkness but it was soon illuminated by his small flashlight seeing most of the shelves missing food. He would be lucky if he even found a bag of chips but when he went behind the counter he did find a lamp that he lights up illuminating the entire store front. Naruto lets himself fall behind the counter sitting and resting his head before reaching up for his radio and contact Kurama.

"Are you there Kurama?"

"Naruto, are you okay?"

"…I'm fine. How are you and mom?"

"We are safe."

"…Good. That's very good. Look I'm going to rest here for a bit. I'll keep in touch okay."

"Affirmative."

"If you need or have something to tell feel free to call me anytime."

"Kushina told me you remembered Light."

"Yeah I do."

"We'll get out of here."

"I know we will."
