Who Would Have Thought?

Summary: As a small child, Lucy only had a few, good friends. Her childhood was relatively normal and fun for a little girl. However, there was one person who would ruin it every chance he got by playing pranks on her, teasing her, and calling her cruel names. After 10 years apart, will love arise? Or will old habits begin to surface once again?

Chapter 6 - Part 1

Lucy sighed sadly as she started into her bathroom mirror. She was wearing her new high school uniform. It was a ruffled, navy blue skirt, long, white stockings that go up to her mid thigh, a white dress shirt accompanied with a red bow, an optional navy blue jacket that had the school emblem on the left breast pocket, gold buttons, and red stitching on the cuffs and down the middle, and shiny dress shoes that had a dark black color.

"Hmm.."

She had to admit. The uniform on her was not as bad as she thought it would be. However, the skirt was rather shirt, so she found herself trying to pull it down, but to no avail. And in addition to that, the jacket couldn't be buttoned up past her large bust. If she did, she feared that a button would pop off. After giving up, Lucy ran her hand through her messy golden locks. She had no idea what she should do with it today. After all, it was her first day, and she wanted to make a good impression, especially after what had occurred the day before.

Ugh.. if only I wasn't being so nosy then...

Kiyahhh! They probably think I'm some perverted girl who likes to watch through a tiny window instead of coming in like a normal person!

It's too late to think about that now!

Today is my first day of school, and.. I'm going to have to face them.

The new students...

All of my old friends.

And I'm going to have to face.. Natsu..

Just the thought of him and his shirtless body brought a blush to Lucy's face. "Kiyaaah! I can't think about him like that! Especially now... I gotta do something with my hair, but what? What style should I go with?"

As if that would make a difference!

I already embarrassed myself..

BUT it couldn't help to try and look good on my first day.

First, she tried to flatten it with a straight iron. "Ugh, it looks too plain!"

Next, she tried braiding it, but that didn't work out as she had hoped. "No, no, no! It looks so grade school..."

The next style she came up with was putting it into two ponytails going down her back. Once she saw the result, she pouted and immediately shook her head. She didn't like it at all.

"What am I? Seven years old!?"

She took her hair apart and groaned desperately. "Ugh... what am I gonna do? I have to get to school in 30 minutes, and I'm still in the bathroom wasting time!"

"Maybe I can be of some assistance?"

Lucy heard a random voice that came from behind her. She slowly turned and screamed at the sight of an unknown female in her bathroom. "Aahh! Who are you and why are you in here?"

"I'm sorry to scare you like that, but I'm your new maid, and my name is Virgo. Nice to meet you, princess. It will be a joy serving you." The young woman introduced herself in a monotone voice that creeped Lucy out a bit. She had short pink hair, sharp blue eyes, and a facial expression that resembled somewhat of a real life china doll. She was wearing a classic maid uniform, although hers seemed to be a bit more fitted to her womanly curves and on top of that, she had on silver shackles around both her wrists. She was a beautiful girl, but her overall appearance and attire sent chills down Lucy's spine.

Uhhh... did she just call me princess?

And what's with that straight face?

Are those shackles around her arms?

What kind of maid IS she!?

"O-okay, nice to meet you t-too!"

"You still seemed frightened from my sudden intrusion into your private place. Would you like to punish me for it?" Virgo asked in a very serious tone.

Lucy, completely unaware at first of what Virgo had just asked of her, tried to reassure that she wasn't scared anymore. However, that sudden fear and maybe a little bit of confusion came right back. "No, no, it's okay! I'm... wait, what did you just say? Punish you?"

"Yes, princess." Virgo proceeded to turn around and bend over, but before she could go all the way, Lucy pulled her back up to her feet.

"NO! No.. that wont be necessary... j-just knock next time, okay?"

I-is this girl forreal!?

Virgo quickly nodded and then pointed to Lucy's unfinished hair. "If you are having trouble picking a hairstyle then Cancer could be of some assistance."

"C-Cancer?"

Wait!

There's another one?

"Yes, he's currently waiting for you in your room. Follow me."

And it's a guy.. with a weird name.

What's with the zodiac associated names?

What's next?

Aquarius? Scorpio? Aries!?

"Okay..." Confused, Lucy followed the maid back into her room. There, a strange male with an even more weird attire was waiting for her in front of her vanity mirror. He was tall, had dark tanned skin, brown hair, and gave off a cool and calm personality. However, that didn't change the fact that he was dressed strangely. His hair was styled in such a way that it reminded Lucy of a crab's pincers. He wore a blue stripped shirt, dark pants, and brown boots. Also, there was a gold necklace around his neck that had a scissor symbol that hung from the chain.

"Hello, Miss Lucy. My name is Cancer, and I'm your new hairstylist, ebi."

"H-hi?"

"Please sit, ebi." He moved aside to allow her to sit down in front of the mirror.

Carefully, Lucy took a seat and saw a small bag beside her. Inside, it was Cancer's tools for styling hair. "What kind of hairstyle would you like today, ebi."

Does he say that after everything he says?

"Umm... well, it's my first day of school, and I want to make a good first impression."

"As you wish, ebi." In only a few short seconds, his hands worked magic on Lucy's hair. Lucy closed her eyes and then slowly opened them once she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"Finished, ebi."

Lucy gasped as she stood up from her seat and looked at herself in the mirror. Her golden strands were all curled and bouncy, and she had a carefully placed dark blue ribbon that parted some of her hair on the left side.

"I-it's perfect! Thank you!"

Cancer bowed and smiled at her happiness about her new hairstyle. He seemed to great pride in his work. "It was my pleasure, ebi."

"Princess, Mr. Chang is waiting for you outside. Here are your things for your first school day." Virgo was by the bedroom, and she held Lucy's backpack and lunch in both hands.

Lucy thanked Cancer once more before she retrieved her things from Virgo. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, princess. Have a good day at school." Virgo, surprisingly, gave Lucy a small smile as she watched her leave her bedroom and go downstairs.

Well,

They were both strange, but they still really nice.

Layla was at the bottom of the stairs and smiled up at her daughter while she came down. "Aw, you look so beautiful, honey!"

"T-thanks, mom." Lucy blushed and once she reached her mother, she had something she wanted to ask her before she had to go. "Umm.. mom?"

"What is it, dear? Are you worried about your first day at school? Don't worry, I'm sure you'll see all your old friends, and everything will be fine."

"It's not that.. it's about Virgo and Cancer. I thought we weren't getting any kind of help?"

We had so many maids and butlers back in Hong Kong that we could hardly do things for ourselves!

It was nice and all, but I like to do some things by myself.

When we moved here, I expected to be able to clean up my own room and cook my own meals for a change.

Well, at least there is only one maid... that hairdresser knows his way around a comb and scissors.. and Mr. Chang is helpful because I don't have a license yet!

"Oh, yes... they arrived here early this morning. Courtesy of your father." Layla explained. "They are both very kind. I'm sorry, honey. You're father is just trying to look after us, especially you."

Lucy sighed and agreed with her mother. "Yeah, I guess so. At least they are really nice. Although a little strange.."

"Yeah, there is no denying that! But what would the world be like if things weren't a little strange once in a while?" Layla laughed, but then checked the clock that was hanging on the wall behind her. "Lucy, look at the time! School is about to begin! You should be getting a move on."

"Really?" Lucy quickly searched for her phone to look at the time instead of the clock. Good thing she did, because her cell phone was missing from her bag. "Where's my phone!?"

"Here, you are, princess." Virgo appeared out of nowhere, and she had Lucy's phone in hand. "I must have forgotten to pack it along with your things. I sincerely apologize."

"Oh, thank you!" Lucy took it and saw the time. It was 10 minutes until the first class was to begin. She gave her mother a quick kiss and headed straight for the door. "Aaaaah! I gotta go! Bye, mom! Bye, Virgo!"

"Bye, Lucy! Have a good day!"

"Have a wonderful day, princess."

Layla and Virgo stood at the front door waving as Lucy jumped into the limo. The limo quickly took off and left the two watching from the house. Once the vehicle was out of their view, Virgo turned around.

"I'll go clean Lucy's room now."

"Alright." Layla said as Virgo then left her alone. She sighed and shut the door and silently hoped that everything would go fine at school.

Now,

Over ten years later...

I wonder how everything will go.

~Fairytail High School~

"Here we are, Miss Lucy. Would you like for me to open the door for you?" Mr. Chang asked as he turned in his seat to hear her answer. His hands were already on his own door to get out as if he expected her to say yes.

However, Lucy shook her head. "I got it this time, Mr. Chang, but thanks."

No offense, but..

I'm already late now as it is!

I don't have time to be lazy and wait for you to open a door for me when I can do it myself.

In a hurry, Lucy got out and closed the door behind her. "Thank you for driving me."

"No problem, Miss Lucy. I'll be waiting for you here when classes are over." Mr. Chang told her before he began to pull off from the school.

"Alright!" Lucy shouted after him before she ran towards the school entrance. Thankfully, the front school grounds were empty so no one could see her get out from the limo and run toward the school like a crazed maniac. Hopefully, all that running didn't ruin her curly hair.

Great!

I'm late on my first day of school!

Way to ruin your second chance to make a good first impression, Lucy!

Lucy stopped running as soon as she made it inside the school. There was no one in the hallways to see her breathing all crazy like she had just ran a marathon either.

"I... have.. to... get my schedule!" She remembered aloud. Luckily, from her self tour of the school the day before, she remembered where the school office was.

Hopefully,

They'll treat me no different than any other new student.

I don't want special treatment or attention, and hopefully they will give me none.

Although, I can't say the same for the other students..

In a few minutes, she found it and let herself right in. The office was clean and neat like the rest of the school and at the front desk of the office, sat a young woman, with medium length purple hair and bright green eyes, dressed professionally in a black suit. On the desk, it had a plaque that read 'secretary'. She looked up from her computer screen when she had heard the door open.

"May I help you?"

"H-hi.. My name is Lucy Heartfilia, and I'm a new-"

"Lucy Heartfilia!?" The woman said in a surprised voice as she suddenly jumped up from her seat. Her eyes were wide, her mouth was slightly open, and she seemed to be shaking quite a bit.

Lucy was startled by the woman's sudden outburst, because her appearance gave her such a quite, calm personality. "Uhhh..."

Isn't she supposed to be acting...

Oh, Idk...

PROFESSIONAL!?

"Ahhhh! Principle Makarov will be sooooooo happy to see that you are finally here! I just loves new students! MAKAROV!? THE HEARTFILIA GIRL IS HERE!"

Lucy covered her ears from the woman's loud screaming. The woman quickly quieted herself down and apologized. "I'm terribly sorry, I, also, get terribly excited about new students joining our wonderful school. By the way, my name is Eris! Nice to have you join us this school year!"

Eris was the school secretary and yet, she was acting like a student. Lucy couldn't help but only imagine what the principal was like. "N-nice to meet you."

"What's all the fuss about, Eris? I was doing something very important!" A door behind the secretary suddenly slammed open causing both girls to stop and look. At first glance, Lucy couldn't tell where the voice had come from.

"W-who said that?"

"I'm down here, young lady!" The elderly man's voice called for her attention.

Lucy looked down further and saw an extremely short man with black eyes, lightly colored skin, and a thick white mustache that was accompanied with white hair that was only on the outside side of his head. He was wearing a very unusual attire that consisted of a simple white shirt with the school emblem, a dark blue jacket, dark pants that barely reached his ankles, and pointy dress shoes that also had the school emblem etched on the sides of them.

Huuuuuuh?

He's so short and just look at his clothes!

He can't possibly be the principal.. can he?

"Hello, young lady. My name is Makarov Dreyar, and I'm Fairytail High School's very own principal and founder. Nice to meet ya!" He held out his arm for her to shake.

"Wow.. you're really dedicated to your school... I-I mean nice to meet you too!" Lucy corrected herself with a nervous smile and took his hand.

Makarov let out a hearty laugh. "So you're the Heartfilia girl, aye? Daughter of Jude Heartfilia who's in just about every business associated magazine? Haha, sending his precious daughter to my little old school all the way from Hong Kong! I feel so honored."

"Hehe.. yeah. Although, me and my family used to live here when I was little. I had to move away, because of my dad's job promotion."

What the heck are you talking about!?

I wouldn't call this school is far from being called 'little'!

"Aaahh, so you'll be seeing some of your old friends again. Is that right? I'm sure that will be go great, and let me be the first to say welcome to Fairytail High School! We, at Fairytail, consider each other a part of a big, happy family. No matter what background in life you have come from, it wont matter here. The only thing that does matter is excelling to the best of your abilities and accomplishing what you set out to do, no matter what that may be!" He said in such a loud and proud voice that Lucy was sure it could be heard from around most of the school.

"I'm sure you will enjoy yourself here."

"T-thank you... I'm glad to be a part of your family!" Although he was very loud, he spoke with such passion and meaning that he made Lucy feel right at home. It made her feel like her dad's business had no part in the warm greeting that he gave her, and that let her know that she was in the right school.

"And I'm sorry I'm a bit late.. I had kind of a weird morning."

That's slowly getting weirder by the second..

Although it's not necessarily a bad thing.

He shook his head and reassured her. "We all have them once in a while, don't we? Since it's your first day, your tardy will be excused. Next time, I can't promise the same thing will happen."

"Oh, thank you so much!"

"No problem. Since homeroom has already started, I would be more than happy to assign you a guide to show you around the school-"

"No, that's okay. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to show myself around after the school was let out."

"Oh, really?" He laughed again. "Eager to start school, eh? I wish my grandson had the same enthusiasm about his classes instead of playing basketball all the time."

"B-basketball?" A blush game to Lucy's face as the memories of what happened yesterday came to mind. "Y-your grandson?"

"Yes, he's a bit of a hot head at times, and he has a tendency to joke around a lot. Although, he's not failing any of his classes. Actually, he's in the high percentile of most of his classes. However, he is on the verge of failing math." Makarov shook his head with a heavy sigh. "The only thing he seems to try really hard in is playing basketball. Luckily, he's got a tutor that's helping him pull his grade up in math, so hopefully that wont be a problem in the future. Boy can count how many points he scores in each game, but can't answer a simple math problem!"

"Hmm..."

That sounds a lot like Natsu!

But... that couldn't be!

Although I've never seen Natsu's grandfather as a child, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have one.

Now that I think about it.. I've... never seen Natsu's mom either!

Only his father... I wonder-

Ugh, why am I wondering about that, especially right now!?

"Sorry for my rambling on about my grandson there. You'll meet him soon enough, and trust me, you can't miss him! You can spot that pink hair from miles away." Makarov cleared his throat and changed the subject. "Since you know the school, why don't you get your schedule?"

"Here it is! I printed it out while you two were chatting." Eris holds up a sheet of paper with Lucy's name on it.

"Thanks." Lucy took it and quickly examined what her classes would be. There were seven. Homeroom was just time before real classes began to catch up on homework, study, talk with friends, and even sleep.

Her schedule read:

Lucy Heartfilia - Second year student

Homeroom: 2-A

1st Period: Japan History

2nd Period: Chemistry

3rd Period: Music

4th Period: Art

-LUNCH TIME-

5th Period: P.E.

6th Period: Home economics

7th Period: Math - Calculus

Lucy's brown eyes sparkled brightly as she was excited that she got the two classes that she wished for. And lucky for her, she only had three academic classes to worry about. By the look on her face, the principal and Eris could tell that she was happy about something or another.

"Can I take a peek?" Makarov kindly asked. She gave it to him, and he scanned it quite fast. "Aaah, you'll be seeing my grandson and his wild friends sooner than expected. I'll walk with you there to make sure he's not slacking off."

"Whaaaaaaaat?" Lucy asked unusually loud as he grabbed her hand and lead her out of the office.

"What about that important thing you were doing!?" Eris asked quickly as she left her desk to chase after them. "I can take her for you if you want!"

"Oh, I was just catching up on my favorite TV show, but that can wait till later." He told her.

Lucy sweat dropped with a look of disbelief on her face. "W-watching.. TV...? Don't you have more important matters to attend to as a high school principle?"

"Awww!" Eris groaned but then waved to Lucy. "Well, I'll see you around! Enjoy your time at Fairytail Hiiiiiiiiiiiigh!"

Her voices slowly faded away as Makarov sped away down the hall. Abruptly, he stopped and let go of Lucy who nearly had fallen over. "I'm sorry, I have forgotten the difference between our heights."

"Hehehehe... it's okay." Lucy lied as she felt her back in pain from bending over so much. "I'm perfectly fine."

"Good, because we're here."

"Already!?"

Indeed, they were standing in front of room 2-A. The door was closed, but she could hear the loud chatter and commotion of students inside. When she entered the room, she began to think that she would most likely see Natsu and who knows who else? Maybe her old friends or maybe not. Instantly, nervousness came over her entire body, and she couldn't move a step forward.

Natsu might be... who am I kidding!? He will be in there!

What other boy has pink hair besides him?

Ugh, there will be a lot of other students too!

Perverted boys trying to get a peek up my skirt or at my chest..

Mean, snobby girls who will hate me for no reason..

Other students making up rumors about me..

Aaggh, this is all too much for me!

Lucy, face red with embarrassment, didn't notice that Makarov was staring up at her with a questioning look upon his face. She was too busy being all nervous as different thoughts raced through her mind.

"Umm.. this may be a fine school, but we don't have automatic opening doors." He joked to ease her clear anxiety. "So are you going to open the door?"

"Huh?" Lucy jumped in fright, but then nodded her head. "Oh.. y-yes, of course."

He softly chuckled and shook his head. "You don't have to be nervous my dear, you're family here now. You don't have to be so nervous. Everyone will accept you. But if you're really that nervous, I'll go in first to calm everyone down."

Before she could even object, Makarov jumped up and opened the door himself. The door slammed behind him, and inside, she heard him addressing the loud class.

He's so small.

How does he expect to get them all quiet when the teacher can't even do it?

"Hey.. would you all kindly... KEEP IT DOWN IN HERE!" He suddenly yelled in an angry voice that sent chills down Lucy's back. "I HEARD YOU ALL BEFORE I EVEN OPENED THE DOOR! YOU ALL SOUND LIKE A HERD OF CATTLE AND OTHER VARIOUS FARM ANIMALS THAT YOU WOULD FIND ON A FARM! GEEZ, THE ONLY REASON THERE IS NO TEACHER ASSIGNED TO HOMEROOM WAS BECAUSE I WOULD AT LEAST GIVE YOU ALL THE CHANCE TO ACT LIKE RESPONSIBLE YOUNG ADULTS!"

O-oh, that explains a lot..

Immediately, the classroom became silent at his command. "S-sorry principal Makarov."

"Yeah, sorry, gramps!" A familiar male voice shouts out from among the rest.

Makarov sighed. "Natsu... anyway, there will be a new student joining our family today. She's right outside, but before I invite her in, I want all of you to be on your best behavior. Is that understood?"

"Yes." They all say at once.

"Okay. You can come in now, dear." Makarov opened the door for her unaware that she was leaning on it to listen in. Luckily, she caught herself before she fell so she didn't look that suspicious. Slowly, but surely, Lucy walked inside the classroom and beside Makarov. Almost instantly, she could feel everyone's eyes on her in front of the classroom.

"She totally looks like that Heartfilia girl from the magazines! Her dad is super rich, you know?" A girl whispered to one of her friends.

"Yeah.. but it couldn't possibly be her! She's too plain looking!"

"Yeah, she probably got plastic surgery done or something to make her boobs big like that too!" A girl snickers meanly along with her friends. "Haha!"

"Aw, shut up, Lorren! You're probably just jealous." A girl from across the room heard the conversation and decided to give her opinion as well. "Maybe you should just stuff your bra a bit more?"

Lorren, an orange haired female with a snarky look on her face, gasped. "I do NOT stuff my bra! Take it back!"

"Make me!"

"Man.. I swear the new girls are getting hotter and hotter." A boy told his friend in the back of the classroom.

His friend smirked deviously. "Haha, she's about as hot as they get. Man, I can't believe the chest on that one!"

"Me either!"

"Oy! Natsu.. isn't that the girl who ran away from you yesterday?" Gray, who wore dark blue pants and a white dress shirt that was unbuttoned at the top which was the male uniform for the school, hit the pink haired boy on the back of the head to get his attention. To his surprise, Natsu completely ignored him and looked straight ahead at the blonde that he encountered the day before.

It's really her again?

She said she would see us at school the next day, and..

Just like that, she's in our homeroom?

She looks even more beautiful than yesterday!

But I just gotta know... who the HELL is she?

"Umm.." Lucy gasped as she looked down to hide the blush on her face. She felt his eyes staring right back at her. It was like he was looking right through her, and did not seem he wanted to look away at all.

W-what?

Why is he staring at me like that?

"Go on, introduce yourself." Makarov encouraged her. "No need to be shy here!"

"R-right! Umm.. h-hi.. my name is Lucy Heartfilia, and-"

"Lu-chan!" A young female with fairly long blue hair, bright hazel colored eyes, and a slim, womanly figure quickly stood up from her desk. On her face was a look of pure surprise. "I can't believe it's you again!"

"L-Levy?"

"LUCY!" Without warning, Levy jumped onto Lucy into a big hug that knocked her down to the floor. "Ooooooh, Lucy! I thought I would never see my best friend ever again, and now you're really here!"

"Really? It's Lucy for real?" Another girl stood up from her desk. Her dark blue hair flowed gracefully down her back and her dark eyes were wide in awe. She, like Levy, had grown into a beautiful young woman, but with a slightly larger bust.

Lucy looked up from her fall to the ground and saw who the girl was. "W-wendy?"

"Yaaaaaaaaay!" Wendy jumped up and hugged on Lucy as well. "We all missed you sooooooooooooo much!"

"L-L-Leeeeeeeeevy! Weeeeeeeeeeendy! I can't... breath!" Lucy struggled to say as her old friends hugged her even more. "I-I missed you both too!"

Makarov smiled at the young girls and then quietly excused himself from the classroom. "Haha.. I see you don't need me here anymore, so I'll just be on my way. Welcome to Fairytail High School, Lucy Heartfilia! You and your friends enjoy yourselves!"

So he's just going to leave while my two friends hug me to death!?

"S-sorry, Lu-chan, but I've missed you so much!" Levy, along with Wendy, finally let go of their old friend. They were all still on the floor together as the other students looked on in amusement and bewilderment. "We all thought we would never see you again.."

Once, Lucy caught her breath, she smiled at the both of them. "I'm sorry.. we didn't keep in touch over the years. I had so many things on my plate that I barely had time to myself.."

"You don't have to apologize, Lucy! We understand." Wendy explained. "We're just glad to have you back with us! Aaaahhh, just wait till the others see you!"

"Loke, Gray, and..." Levy stopped and looked right into Lucy's eyes along with Wendy. She leaned in close to whisper into Lucy's ear. "And Natsu is in this homeroom too. I know how you probably feel about seeing him again after what he did when we were little.."

If Lucy's face wasn't blushing enough before, it certainly was now. "I-I know.. I saw him sitting in the back.."

Of course I remember what he did to me!

But... why?

Why am I blushing like this every time I see him or hear his name?

Wendy smiled deviously. "Huh? What's that blush for?"

Levy had the same smile and got right into Lucy's face. "Do you already have a crush on him? Wow, Lucy.. you really did change when you were in Hong Kong! And I'm not just talking more about your big boobs!"

"W-w-what? I don't know what you're talking about! And that last comment was totally uncalled for!"

"Then why is your face as red as a baby tomato right now?"

"Maybe because you're on top of me in front of the entire class!?"

It was true, Levy had climbed on top of Lucy in the most suggestive manner that got the attention from most of the male students in the classroom. "O-oh, right!"

Quickly, all three girls got to their feet and dusted their uniforms off.

"But still.. I don't blame you Lucy. Natsu is one of the hottest guys around school... besides someone else I know. " Levy literally had hearts going off all around her as her mind was on that certain someone. "He's captain of the basketball team, he's rich, and he's fairly smart in classes, except for math. Although... his joking days are far from over, and he occasionally can lose his temper. So he's pretty harmless now if you know what I mean."

Lucy, face still red, could only slightly nod. "Uh uh... sure.."

"Don't worry, Lucy. If Levy runs her big mouth about Natsu, you can just talk about her crush on Gajeel, and that will shut her right up!" Wendy mentioned offhandedly and got a glare from her friend.

"Wendy! I told you to keep that a secret!" Levy told that as she looked around the class and saw the said male in the back with his friends. Lucky for her, he and no one nearby had paid attention to what Wendy had said.

Lucy could only laugh at the two. "Haha, looks like I have a lot of catching up to do with you both."

"Huh? Oh yeah! Come sit with us, and we'll tell you everything we can with the minutes we have left in homeroom, but you have to promise that you'll tell us about your time in Hong Kong!" Levy suggested.

"Promise?"

"Promise!"

"LUCY!" Gray said all of sudden when a light bulb went off in his head. It took him a while to remember, but he finally got it. "I remember now! Hehe... she moved away when we were little kids! Loke, you knew who she was didn't you?"

Loke, who sat across from him and had been waiting for his friends to realize the fact, nodded his head. "Of course, how could I forget such a beautiful girl who was also one of my dearest friends? It took you long both of you long enough! I knew it as soon as I saw her voice. It may have matured, but she still has that same sweet, innocent voice when she was a kid."

"Lucy..? What... it can't be. But it is!"

Natsu whispered her name silently as childhood memories began to drift into his mind. He remembered a young blonde girl he always used to play jokes on when she was least expecting it. Of course, they were always funny to him and the other kids, but in the end, he would always felt bad that he made her cry. He remembered her voice, her laughter, her pretty, her pretty blonde hair, big brown eyes, childish face, but he also remembered the tears she cried after doing what he did to her.

I remember her.

That's why she looked so familiar.

It was Lucy all along..

In his young boy mind, he didn't know why he did it. Hell, he didn't even know why he felt bad afterwords. However, now that he was older and had a lot more experience with girls, he started to think that he may have had some feelings toward her. Feelings that he couldn't have possibly understood at his young boy age. That may be the reason he kept a certain piece of her to remember her by for all these years. A certain item that she had dropped in the classroom right before she stormed out in tears.

Why... did I do that to her?

Bullying her was wrong, and after she had left, he felt terrible about what he had done. As time went on and as he grew up, along with his friends, the thoughts of her went to the back of his mind, but he still had never forgotten her. Even to this day, he still felt badly for his actions towards her, because she didn't deserve any of it. In his heart, he felt like he should apologize for it, but how could he? After what he did to her on her last day in Tokyo over ten years ago, how could she ever forgive him?

I HATE you, Natsu! You'll never change!

You're just a mean, s-stupid, jerk!

I'LL NEVER EVER FORGIVE YOU!

"I'm... sorry.."

"Natsu!" Gray yelled right into his ear and caused him to jump out of his seat. He fell right on his side as other students looked back to see what happened.

Clearly angry, Natsu jumped right back on his feet and got right into Gray's face. "YOU IDIOT! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU YELLING IN MY EARS FOR!? ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME DEAF OR SOMETHING!?"

"WELL IF YOU WERE LISTENING THEN I WOULDN'T HAVE TO YELL AT YOU, WOULD I?"

"WELL, I'M LISTENING NOW, SO WHY ARE YOU STILL YELLING?"

"BECAUSE YOU ARE!"

"Ummm.. guys?" Wendy, who sat a few desks in front of them and was sitting legs crossed on top of the desk that Lucy was currently seated in, pouted and folded her arms under her chest. "How about you both stop yelling?"

"Gray started it, so why don't you tell-" Natsu groaned and turned his head to speak, but as soon as he did, his voice became trapped in his throat. HIs eyes connected with Lucy and that caught him off guard, but only for a few seconds. "It was Gray's fault!"

"Arrgh, don't blame it on me, pinky! You're the one who wouldn't listen in the first place." Gray said as he dropped down back in his seat.

"Whatever.." Natsu broke eye contact with Lucy and got back in his desk. "Dammit.."

"What's up with you all of a sudden, Natsu?" Gajeel asked with his right eye wide with curiosity. "What's your relationship with that girl?"

"What relationship? There is none."

Loke sucked his teeth. "I beg to differ. When we were younger, you used to bully her everyday, or did you forget that part of your childhood?"

"Whoa, seriously?" Gajeel let out a snicker. "Hehe, even as a kid, you were still the little prankster. Couldn't help yourself, huh?"

"Yeah, yeah.."

All of a sudden, Loke snapped his fingers. In only the span of a few minutes, he had been thinking of something, and now he decided to share it. "That's it!"

"What's it?" Gray asked with a strange look. "What the hell are you talking about, dude?"

"Natsu, I think you should go and apologize for what happened when we were kids." Loke explained.

"WHAT!?" Natsu yelled at first, but then quieted down. "What? Why should I?"

I want to, but..

Will she even forgive me?

Will she even want to listen to what I have to say?

"Because.. now that we're older, wiser, and more mature.." Loke began to say, but Gray scoffed at the last two descriptions. "You should let her know that you were wrong for what you did and that you feel sorry for it. That way, you guys can start back over.. you know.. before you started bullying her?

We were all friends, soo let's try and do that again, because I would rather not see this older Lucy cry again for something you did to her. I'm sure if you pull out the old charm, like you do with those others girls, she'll forgive you and want to be friends."

Natsu, leaned back his chair and tilted his head back, sighed and shook his head. "Right... okay, I will, but later... I guess. And while we're talking about what people should go and do.. why don't you go say hi to her, Loke? Weren't you one of her best friends?"

"I would, but.. I wouldn't want to interrupt the girls' conversation."

Elsewhere, towards the front of the class, Wendy and Levy both gave their friend wide grins, while other girls in the class were writhing with jealousy. They had just witnessed a girl getting Natsu tongued tied.

"Hehe.. I see Natsu is getting all flustered by seeing you here." Levy grinned deviously.

Again Lucy blushed, and tried to change the subject. "S-so... how school going? Are you guys a part of any clubs or something?"

"Well, I'm part of the cheer leading squad for the basketball team. Hmmm.. and let's see. Erza is the school president and is one of the few highest scoring students. Natsu, Loke, and Gray are all on the school basketball team. Natsu is the basketball team captain, and he has high marks in all his classes, except for math. Loke is also a part of the drama club and has pretty good grades as well. He's also.. kind of a play boy, so if that were a club, he would be the president! Gray is also doing well in his classes, when he's not taking off his shirt in the middle of class or eating tons of ice cream and ice pops during lunch.

Cana, well.. she's in no clubs, but she does exceptionally well in her classes even if she drinks a lot... And while you were gone, we made other friends that are super nice, so I'm sure you'll get along with them! There's Mirajane, Lisanna.. oh, and Juvia!"

"Ummm..." Lucy hardly kept track of what left Wendy's lips. "Thanks for that.. information."

So...

Many..

New..

PEOPLE!

But that's to be expected.

"You're welcome!"

"Hey! You forgot me! I'm in the chest team, debate team, and tennis squad, and I'm also a top scoring student, of course. I, also, like to volunteer in the library for some extra cash." Levy quickly added. "So what about you Lucy? What you been up to since you were gone?"

"It's all so much.. I wouldn't know what to start with first."

"Well, just tell us the basics for now." Levy suggested. "We'll plan a get together after school, so you can tell us EVERYTHING then! And in return, we can tell you about the school, who to avoid, who to get into good graces with, who's hot, who's not hot, and ect."

"That would be great!" Lucy was suddenly excited for that and couldn't wait for it. "And.. the basics, hmmm.. huh? Normal stuff, I guess. I made a few good friends in Hong Kong, and I was doing great in my classes. The only clubs I have ever been in was art and music."

"You can draw!?"

"You can play the clarinet!?" Levy named a random instrument just for the heck of it.

"Yes.. and no.. the piano."

"Really? You have to let us hear you play sometime!" Wendy got all giddy with excitement. "Pleaseeeeeeeeeee? Pleaseeeeeeeeee?"

"Of course. I would love to!"

"And maybe you can draw Levy a portrait of her and Gajeel together! I know she would hang it on her bedroom wall and stare at it everyday!"

"WENDY!" Levy screamed in embarrassment. "Do you NOT know the meaning of keeping my crush on Gajeel a secret!?"

"Do you NOT know that you are being just as loud as I am, thus not keeping the secret yourself?"

Lucy could only laugh once more. "You guys are so funny together..."

~Ding.. Dong.. Ding.. Dong~

"Awww... shoot! That's the bell, so it's time for first period. What's your class, Lu-chan?" Levy, who ignored the fact that she had just said his name aloud and some people now stared at her, asked as she jumped to her feet. "I have chemistry."

"Umm.." Lucy took a quick look at her list. "It's Japan History."

Levy gasped. "Erza is in that class, so she can walk with you there!"

"Erza.."

Long, beautiful red hair that flowed in the wind.

Strong, powerful eyes that could intimidate anyone who crossed her path.

And the strength of a full grown man!

I wonder if she still the same loud mouthed girl that she was as a kid?

Lucy smiled. "Great. I can't wait to see how she turned out."

"Well, you're in for a let down." Wendy giggled. "Because she's still the same strict, loud mouth! Except for.. you know? Her full grown adult body."

"Which is quite bodacious if I might add." Levy added with a sly grin.

"Again, unnecessary comment." Lucy said with a smack to her face. "Anyway, I can't wait to see everyone else, so let's get going."

Unfortunately for her, just as she got up from her desk, someone bumped right into her and caused her to fall flat on her back. "Aaaah!"

"Lucy, are you alright!?" Levy screamed. "Umm..."

"Nice going, Natsu." Gray couldn't help, but to laugh. "Is that how you talk to girls now?"

Loke sighed and shook his head. "Natsu, what have you done to her already?"

Wendy giggled wildly. "Hahaha... what a great catch, Natsu!"

"Should have known that he would be the first one to touch the new girl's breasts!" A random male told his friends.

W-what?

Are they all talking about?

With her eyes shut tight, Lucy could feel a heavy pressure on top of her body. She could even feel them on top of her breasts. They were a pair of male hands, and they were squeezing her chest over and over again as if they were trying to figure out what they had a firm grip on. The mere position that she could feel that she was in made her entire body flush pink, but now the feeling on her beasts had her completely red and steaming.

W-what..?

What.. just happened?

Did someone... fall on top of me?

Was it... really Natsu!?

She slowly opened one eye and saw a head full of pink hair. She gasped and opened both her eyes. "W-what the-?"

"You dickhead, ice prick! You tripped m.." Natsu started to yell as he looked up, but then he stopped instantly. He saw that he was right on top of Lucy with his hands basically groping her large breasts. Gray had tripped him and caused him to bump into Lucy. He tried to grab onto a nearby desk to stop the fall, but ended up grabbing her chest instead. Both of them didn't say a word at first. They only stared at each other. Heart pumped, mind racing back and back, and the ability to speak completely gone.

"Uhhh..."

Her breasts... are soft.. so..

Ugh! Stop dammit!

I should be more concerned about shy she isn't screaming or yelling at me to get off of her!

Wait a second!

W-why isn't she?

"I..."

"NATSU DRAGNEEL, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING FONDLING A INNOCENT, DEFENSELESS GIRL'S BREASTS IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CLASSROOM?" A strong voice yells at the top of her lungs. Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing and became silent like when principle yelled at them. But this voice was far more sinister and evil sounding.

At once, Natsu became stone cold frightened, and and got a petrified look on his face. At once, Lucy knew who the voice belonged to, because she recalled only one person able to get Natsu scared like that.

To confirm her belief, Lucy titled her head back and saw a pair of feet standing at the classroom door. Those feet belonged to a red haired vixen with an identical school uniform as Lucy and the other girls of the school.

"Erza!?"

"Erza, this isn't what it looks like! Now, if you just let me explain-"

"WHAT'S THERE TO EXPLAIN!? YOU ARE CLEARLY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF... LUCY!? WHAT THE... NATSU! REMOVE YOUR HANDS FROM LUCY'S BOSOMS IMMEDIATELY!"

Yeah.. she's the same Erza I remember.

"Y-yes, ma'am!"

"AND CLIMB OFF OF HER, AND DO IT FAST BEFORE I COME OVER THERE AND TOSS YOU OFF MYSELF!"

Oh, this is going to be a long, long day..

End. (Please excuse mistakes of any kind, I rushed and pushed myself to get this finished and out to you guys.)

Ending here, because the chapter would have been WAY too long, so part 2 will be up soon! Things are just getting started, if you know what I mean. A lot more drama, awkwardness, humor, romance, pervertedness, and possibly a bit of jealousy are coming your way! ;)

I really hope you all are enjoying the story so far. I'm really doing my best to put my thoughts into words, and trying to make the best chapters as possible.
