At 10 it starts to rain,

Heavy drops pitter-patter on the windows.

At 11 the wind is howling,

Branches knocking on the window, begging to come inside.

At 12 you hear snoring, as the storm continues to rage on.

At 1 lightning strikes,

Electrifying the whole room, I wake up gasping,

Sweat trickles down my forehead,

I pray to God to keep me safe.

At 2 it only got worse,

The crackling sound of thunder shredding through the sky.

It still haunted me 'till today.

At 3 I sit in my bed,

Silently weeping,

and grieving,

Hoping for someone to be there.

At 4 I dared to step out,

The feeling of something lurking about,

Shuddering under the slightest breeze.

At 5 the cackling of fire,

Lightning setting trees ablaze,

Seemingly in a world of daze.

At 6 shadows dancing in the moonlight,

All reaching different heights.

At 7 back in my room,

Insanity slowly taking over,

Laughter echoing across the room.

At 8 laughter turns into screams,

Slicing of limbs and thrashing of legs,

Anxiety to fear to pain and soon relief,

Not even God can save my now.

At 9 lying down surrounded by red,

A red, thick liquid,

Tasting of metallic red,

I wake up.
