"So, a newbie you say. And what did this newbie look like?" Magnus got a dreamy look on his face and Ragnor immediately regretted asking the question. "Never mind. Never mind." He continued quickly, save he hear Magnus go on and one about the cute thief that just stole his piece from him. "So, you're saying a newbie, a thief that you've never heard of before, stole your painting from right under your nose. Wow, you not doing well. How ya' dealing with that blow then, Mags?" Magnus still had that same dreamy look on his face, evidently he was not that annoyed, which in turn annoyed his friend. "Magnus!" he yelled, startling the day-dreamer from his happy little bubble. "Get yourself together, and stop drooling. This man could be a problem. If he's as good as you say he was-"
"Oh, he is. He made no noise, like a cat. He just showed up behind me, and then was gone in the blink of an eye. I didn't see him come in even. I looked around one second, turned back, and he was there, and was gone just as fast."
"Right. I defiantly believe you. There was totally a-"his criticism was cut off by a soft, foreign voice that appeared out of nowhere.
"I'm afraid your friend is telling the truth. I am rather quiet, he shouldn't take it personally." There, lounging on the coach across from where Magnus and Ragnor was sat was the very black haired blue eyed man that had been the subject of Magnus' daydreams for the past day. Both of their eyes widened is surprise at the man that had seemingly appeared in their room. Ragnor was the first to comprehend the situation and quickly shot up onto his feet.
"What the h-"he started, his face a red globe, and his tone furious.
"Language dear. No need to curse." Interrupted the man, a soft British accent that Magnus hadn't heard before playing on his lips, along with a soft smirk.
"Pfft, language. Don't you language me you little b-"at this the boy gave him a pointed look and was returned from a rather nasty glare from Ragnor. "What. Are you. Doing. In. My house." The blue eyed man smiled before standing up and slowly walking over to where they were standing.
"I do believe you share this residence with this gorgeous man here, Magnus Bane was it? So it's Magnus, Ragnor Fell, Raphael Santiago and the lovely Catarina Loss. What a… interesting home you have." He said reaching out as if expecting a handshake in return for full on stalker talk. Ragnor's eyes widened, while Magnus, who was still laying on the black leather coach, blushed. Slowly Magnus joined his friends' side, deciding he needed answers.
"What are you doing here? Staring down at the lounging man with a questioning look on his face.
"Oh," he waved his hand gracefully through the air, as if dismissing the question. "I just moved here from London. Thought I'd get to know the competition." He smirked, understanding that he really had no competition. "Perhaps you've heard of me? They call me Malaikat. I find that name rather lovely, I was meaning to congratulate the creator…" When the two heard his name they gasped. Malaikat was the most wanted thief in Europe, and nearly in the world. And who knew he was so hot? "Any way, I was wondering if you had any good leads. Lately we've been very bored, and apart from that Fairchild painting, I haven't been very active." At the mention of the painting, the man smirked, while Magnus blushed again. Meanwhile, Ragnor was fuming.
"Who do you think you are-"he stopped himself, now knowing exactly who the man was. Said man smirked before gracefully hopping out of his position on the couch. He walked over to Magnus, completely ignoring Ragnor, who was currently staring off at the wall, his face green with envy and hate.
"I do apologize, we haven't been formally introduced. My name is Alexander lightwood, it's a pleasure to meet you." He smiled, before slowly bringing Magnus ring laden hand to his lips and kissing it, causing Magnus' golden face to relight again in a glorious pink colour.
After a long conversation, and by conversation, I mean Alexander talking with Magnus whilst simultaneously partaking in a glaring battle with Ragnor, a visitor entered the room.
'Boys! I'm home." Called a sing song voice from somewhere down the hall. Suddenly, a beautiful women walked into the room. Her long hair hung in florescent blue curls around her waist and she wore several shades of blue on her face in the form of makeup. When she spotted Alec sitting on the couch, her grey eyes widened ever so slightly in surprise. Alec, quick on his feet as ever, leaped up and gracefully walked over.
"Let me help you with that, my dear." He said sweetly, gesturing to the bags of food she was holding. She handed them over, though still staring warily at the man. "You must be the lovely Catarina Loss. 'Tis a pleasure to meet you." He said, smiling whilst managing to sweep into a bow, even holding the bags full of groceries.
Catarina raised a brow, glancing over Alec's shoulder at the flat mates. "So, you brought a man home? Magnus, Ragnor?" she stared accusingly at the air of them, ignoring Ragnor's glare.
"Practically the opposite. This man here, actually broke in." Catarina's mouth parted as she gasped softly, staring at the blue eyed man.
"Hm, well I wouldn't say broke in." he said whimsically. "Merely invited myself in." he glanced at Magnus, and Catarina glanced in-between them when she say Magnus' golden face light up with a glowing blush. Suddenly, a loud crash came from just outside their apartment, on the stairs leading up to it. Catarina spun on her heals as quickly walked towards the door. Meanwhile, Alec placed the bags on the dark marble counter before regaining his seat sprawled on the couch.
Just then, Catarina reentered the flat, along with another dark haired man following closely behind. Alec smiled knowingly at the man, though he couldn't see it as his head was facing the floor. When he finally looked up, he gasped at the sight of the man.
"Raphael Santiago. What a pleasure to see you again."
Raphael stared, open mouthed at his in response before stuttering out his reply. "Alec." He said breathlessly as he stared into those deep blue eyes, filled with memories.
Yeah, so that was okay. Dats all I have to say, so…
