When Let Me Love You reaches 65 followers, I'll do a little fun fact section in my bio about me. (Some facts about me, some about my stories). I just appreciate all the support I'm getting, so I wanted to something interesting. :D

Also, The Quaag helped me with this chapter~ Yeah :)

I hope everyone had a splendid Christmas and New Years celebration. I wish for everyone to having a wonderful year full of happiness and loved ones!

Lucy

My eyes fluttered open, blinking away the bright sunlight. It was probably almost 7:20 am by the sun.

Since I didn't have an alarm, nor clock, I've sort of adapted to just estimating what time it is and forcing myself to wake up. It's easier than it seems, you just have to train your body to get use to waking up early.

I stretched my arms, extending my muscles, and sat up. I probably had only 25 minutes to get ready like usual, so I slipped out of the covers and got up to get dressed.

I slipped on my skirt and blouse, then the rest of my uniform, including my sweatshirt this time. After I finished tying my red tie in a knot, I looked at my reflection in the mirror.

My pale face looked back at me, with the bruise I received the other day looking a dark purple now.

Too bad that I had to wash the makeup off last night.

I ran out of my own concealer a while back, hopefully Papa would give me some money this weekend for the first time in a while.

I sighed, and put some of my hair back in a small pony tail with a red hair tie, leaving the rest down.

After I finished getting ready, I went towards the kitchen.

When I got at the end of the hallway, I took a peek into the living room to see if he was in there.

He sure was.

He was laying limbs spread on the couch, with drool falling into a puddle on the carpet. I could smell the scent of cigarettes and alcohol coming from him, it made me want to gag.

I never had bad asthma as a child, because Papa nor Mama use to smoke when I was young. I get it more often now, but only when I'm real close to him when he's smoking.

I tried not to breathe too hard, when I walked in the living room to collect his beer bottles and throw them away. I grabbed them, then tossed them as quietly as I could, trying not to wake him.

After I did that, I put on my shoes, and grabbed my bag.

Most of the time, I would make myself a bento for lunch, but I couldn't do that with him asleep in there.

I quietly opened the door, and tip toed out. I most likely had between 10-15 to be at the bus stop.

Just then a car came around the corner with a loud honk.

"Lucy!"

My head jerked to the side to see who in the car knew my name.

A black haired guy stuck his head with a giant grin on his face. That's when I realized who it was: Gray.

"Gray?"

Another guy stuck his out of the back seat window. When I saw the pink hair, my mind didn't hesitate to identify who it was.

"Natsu?"

When the car finally got to my house, my jaw was already dropped in awe. Maybe it was because they were here, right now, or maybe it was just because they were here in a dark ocean blue shiny Convertible.

Just then the driver peeked over at me from behind Gray. It was clearly Erza due to the bright red hair.

"Get in loser, we're going shopping." Erza proclaimed with her expression full of confidence, referencing to Mean Girls.

That's when I bursted into laughter. "Wow, Erza! I didn't see you for the type of person to watch a movie like that."

"C'mon Luce, just get in." Nastu said, head hanging out the window like a dog's might.

"I don't know guys, but I do need to leave soon." I still had no clue why they were here, nor the fact that Erza has a car. I mean if she had a car, shouldn't she be driving herself to school instead of taking the bus.

Plus the fact of how they know where I live is horrible. Natsu must have told them my address...

Gray looked at me, with a eager expression. "If you're wondering about the car, it's my older brother's. He lent it to me for today, because we have a Fairy Tail meeting after school, and he doesn't want to pick me up."

"Oh," I nodded at them.

"You coming or not?" Erza asked delighted.

"Sure."

And with that, I went around to the other side of the car, and hopped in the backseat. I didn't know whether or not this was a good idea, but hopefully this was something that would lift up my spirits. For now, at least.

"You ready, for the most awesome ride to school Lucy?" Erza called from the front, turning up the volume on the radio station. Carpe Diem by Green Day, blasted the the speakers, filling up the car.

Gray and Erza were rocking out to the song swaying, and singing. Natsu just sat back looking out the window. After we left he finally took a glance at me.

"Do you want to come to the meeting tonight?" He asked me.

"You mean like, be a part of Fairy Tail?" Did they seriously want me to join? They've only known me for 3 days now.

"I mean sure, if your interested. Or you could always check out how we do things, and if you want to be apart of Fairy Tail, you can join." Natsu declared grinning at me.

"Really?" I asked, directing my question more towards Gray and Erza in the front of the car. The red-head and the black-haired teen nodded in unison. "We would really love for you to join." Erza said.

"Then, I guess I can come to the meeting."

The good thing was, was that I knew tonight Papa would be gone when I got home. Thursday nights he goes to work, but I had no idea where he works at, or what he's doing is even considered a job. All I know, is that he's gone Thursday nights, and comes back with about $70 the next morning.

"Great!" The pinkette cheered.

From there, we drove all the way to the school within ten minutes. My smile just couldn't seem to fade, I finally felt accepted somewhere. Because I sure wasn't accepted at home.

When we arrived at the Magnolia High, it was eight minutes until the first period bell. Erza, Gray, Natsu, and I all hopped out of the car and headed towards the front building.

As we were strolling down the sidewalk, I thought of some questions I still had in mind about Fairy Tail.

"Wait, where am I suppose to go for the meeting?"'

"Oh, we forgot to tell you right? After school just follow Levy, since y'all have the same last period. Usually, group members get seventh period to have their meetings instead of having class once a week, but we changed the meeting to after school in case you wanted to come." Erza said, informing me. "Oh okay." They had changed their schedule just for me...

With that said, Gray and Natsu started arguing about who was going to get to the Fairy Tail meeting room first. Which resulted in a slap from the red head, leaving their argument to a draw Eventually we just laughed and talked until the bell rang.

All four periods leading up to lunch went by faster then I could believe. Surprisingly, our English-sensei didn't realize that Natsu had missed detention yesterday, so he sure got out of that easily.

In Science, our teacher just went over our assignment that was due tomorrow once again. No big deal right? Well it is when I have no way to use the Internet, so I'm completely stuck! But no need to worry right? A simple zero can only put my grade down by just a little bit. (Note the sarcasm).

Art went well, I guess. We just finished up our Pottery project with a coat of paint and such. Erza was clearly proud of her masterpiece, as far as quality. My thing was suppose to look like a vase with beautiful acrylic flowers. However it looked more like a yellow bowl with pink blobs all around it.

The bell had just rang for lunch, leaving our lesson in History to end. As fourth period ended,I picked up my things and headed towards the door to head to the cafeteria. Natsu and Gray were probably behind me, but I just continued on by myself.

I would have to face the girls all again since yesterday's "situation." I mean I wasn't dreading to see them, since I have already seen Erza today and she hadn't even brought up yesterday's events. I guess people from here have a tendency to let things go easily.

I just needed to have confidence in myself that things should work out.

With that in mind, I took a sharp breath, and straightened my posture. I walked down the hallways with a determined mindset. I'm only guessing you could tell by my assertive look.

When I walked through the cafeteria doors I looked around for the girls, prepared to talk with them. Levy, Juvia, Erza, and Lisanna were all situated at the table talking together. Juvia and Erza were just about the only ones who were eating.

I kept on taking steps nearing the table. I distracted my mind from thinking about what I would say, to just thinking about little things. Such as that Juvia was wearing her hair in a ponytail today and that the room smelt like hot dogs on wheat bread and crappy tasting macaroni and cheese. (I'm only assuming).

When the girls finally spotted me, Levy waved a hand over at me.

"Good afternoon, Lu-chan." The blunette cheered with a wide smile. "Hello."

I slipped into the seat right beside her, keeping my eyes on the girls.

"So what's up?" I asked them, trying to sound casual instead of somewhat worried.

"We were just about ask Juvia what she thought about the dance coming up, but real quick we want to apologize Lucy. About yesterday I mean… We shouldn't have pushed you into trying to tell us why you wouldn't go to the dance. You have your reasons, and we don't really need to know them unless you feel comfortable telling us." Erza said, slowly looking down.

"Juvia also apologizes."

"I'm also sorry too, Lu-chan."

I blinked in confusion. I hadn't really expected them to apologize, I thought they would just continue pestering me about my reasons to why I didn't want to attend the dance.

"Oh it's fine.. I understand that y'all would be curious. I'll just tell y'all that I'm just kind of pretty much not allowed to go. I just didn't really want to tell y'all." I muttered. That was pretty much putting it lightly. I mean I wasn't going to tell them, "Oh I can't go, because when I get home I'll be abused so harshly I won't be able to go to school the next week because I'll be in a hospital." I mean that's the whole reason I didn't tell them yesterday.

"Oh, well Lucy's mom doesn't want her to go, we understand. Juvia's mom was too uncertain at first, but by now she is fine with allowing Juvia to go to dances."

Honestly my mom would have wanted me to go to the dance. She probably would have been the one to take me to the store to pick out a flamboyant dress and get my hair done all for the occasion. After all, my parents first met at a school dance.

I was about to retort that my mom was dead, so she couldn't decide whether I go or not but I just let it slip. I honestly didn't want them to know something so personal about me.

"Well um… back to Juvia. We were wondering if you got asked to the dance yet?" Lisanna inquired, changing the subject.

"Juvia hasn't been asked yet, but she believes Gray-sama may ask her soon. He hasn't been giving Juvia strange looks as much anymore." The sophomore spoke cheerfully. To be honest, I really hoped Gray would ask her to the dance. You could see she cared for him a lot.

"Awww, I know he will." Levy said with a nodding Erza.

"Who are you going with, Lisanna?" The read-haired woman asked. "Oh, I don't know…" Lisanna said slowly looking down at her lap, blushing 50 shades of red.

I never really thought about who Lisanna had a crush on. I mean, obviously Juvia likes Gray, and Erza apparently likes this Jellal guy because they're going to the dance together. And of course, I still believe Levy and Gajeel have some feelings for each other just by the little subtle hints they give each other.

"W-well I did have someone in mind…" The girl stuttered in embarrassment. "I was thinking maybe-"

Lisanna was cut off when Natsu sat down next to us, immediately putting a stop to our conversation.

"So what are y'all girls talking about?" He asked. stuffing a hot dog in his face. He practically swallowed it whole. My eyes widened at him, I mean I knew boys had bad eating habits but that was surprising…

"Oh nothing, just um…. bras and girl stuff." Levy laughed nervously, attempting to make Natsu uninterested in our conversation.

"What about bras?" He asked startling me. He said it so causally, while chugging down his carton of milk.

Lisanna, Juvia, Levy, Erza, and I all looked at each other in panic. Most guys would have freaked out at the mention of girl stuff.

"Nevermind that…" I said trying to change the subject. "Where is Gray and Gajeel?" I asked the oblivious boy. Natsu just shrugged.

With that said, Gajeel and Gray both sat down answering my question.

After that sat down, everyone actually started eating their food, well except for me.

"Lu-chan, why aren't you eating?" The petite blunette asked my, as she slurped up the soup on her spoon. "Oh, I forgot to make my lunch this morning, and I only had money to buy lunch yesterday." I answered her. "Oh." She frowned.

Instantly Natsu stood up up taking his tray to the trash.

"So, we got a meeting after school?" Gajeel asked noticing Natsu's absence. Erza nodded, "Yes, because Lucy will be joining us today."

"Yeah, Lu-chan will be one of us!" Levy cheered giving me hug, with a grin.

She realesed me when Natsu got back to the table. "Here, Luce." He handed me a wrapped up sandwich. "It's all they had left."

I took the food from his hands and looked at it. "Th-thanks, Natsu."

"No problem."

A blush slowly started to take over my face, as I realized that he bought it just for me. I looked back up to meet everyone's glance except his. Gray and Erza looked at each other then at Natsu, then back at me.

I glanced back down at my sandwich and unwrapped it. It had bologna, cheese, mayo, and pickles, my favorite.

Also my favorite… *cough* Lol, since I'm super late with this chapter, I'll post chapter 5 soon after I post this. (Basically before I update another one of my stories).

Sorry that it's a short chapter, but I wanted the FT meeting to be in the next chapter not this one.

Okay, time for a contest before I get any farther in the story. Before writing this chapter, I took a little while to make a schedule for everyone, so I wouldn't mess things up when referring to their classes. Here is part of Natsu's:

1:English (with Lucy)

2:Technology (with Lisanna)

3:?

4:History (with Lucy and Gray)

-Lunch-

5:Science (with Gajeel)

6:Gym (with Lisanna, Gray, and Lucy)

7:Math (with Erza)

Natsu has 2 electives, Technology and a mystery subject. The contest is, whoever can guess Natsu's second elective (third period), gets a sneak peek to an idea or future scene I have in the future. Plus they get to share an idea or character they would like in the story, and it's possible I may add it. Chances are I may change it up a bit, but I will do my best to fit the idea or character into my story.

The only rule is: Everyone can only have up to 2 guesses that will count. If there is more than 2, I will only look at the first 2.

If nobody guesses his elective by next chapter, I'll give a hint.
