Chapter 12

Alright don't have much to say except, I hope you had a happy holiday and enjoy this chapter.

Gary's POV

Holy crap, the thing looks so awesome. A large white scaled dragon with the underside belly being an ice blue. Large spikes on the head that were in black, just to match the talons on his feet and the end on the wings. Soft gray spikes trailed down the center back all the way to the end of the tail where the soft spikes formed into one. The wings were covered in the soft spike s as well at the top but were made of large chunks of ice. Oh yeah, this guy was all mine, I mean his wigs are ice, I'm the ice Dragon Soul, look at us we are both some sick dudes.

"Shit, this guy is yours Gare." Drew called to me as he stood up and rubbed the tiredness out of his eyes. The others were standing behind me, all a gaped, aside from Dawn who was still practically asleep and leaning on May. Damn she needs to start going to sleep sooner than she is.

I turned back to look at the beast, "Gary," my jaw dropped. "You are not yet ready boy." A...a girl...this badass creature was female. How? How does this work? It was so cool looking...girl dragons would look all pink and stuff, like Dawn's was.

The dragon quickly jumped up and spread its large wings, caused us to lose our balance and shield our eyes from the wind caused by the dragon. Before another word could be said, the ice dragon was out of sight in the morning sky.

"Damn, alright where does this mark go to?" I asked as I noticed a feint glow from the corner of my eye.

"Well it isn't quite finished like Dawn's was," Leaf said, inspecting my mark. "You are missing part still...maybe it has to do with her saying you weren't ready?"

"Wait, you mean you could hear it! We couldn't her Dawn's dragon though." I exclaimed, causing Dawn to raise her head from leaning on May.

"You need to remember, I am the Dragon Soul of mind, so psychic, meaning telepathy. Luna only wanted to communicate with me." Dawn told me.

"We should get heading to Petalburg again, sooner we get there, sooner we can start training as a team." We all agreed with May and began our way to Petalburg once again.

After a little while, and a hell of a lot of walking we made it to Rustboro city. Ash was complaining that he was hungry and May joined him in the whining, so we stopped at a restaurant and ordered ourselves some food.

As we ate our meal, we began to be looked at in strange ways by the other people at the restaurant. As a waitress came by to refill our cups of coffee, I struck up a slight conversation, asking why we were looking why we were getting the stares. "Well you guys look like you slept on the ground and your clothes are slightly trashed, how did this happen anyway?"

Misty swallowed her mouthful of food and spoke up, "Well we kinda did sleep on the ground, and as for the clothes thing...it's slightly a long untellable story." She stated without looking at the waitress who looked confused.

We finished our meal and continued our way, reaching the last bit of the trip before arriving in Petalburg city. The forest, well the Petalburg Woods, May said that it wasn't a hard trip as long as you stuck to the path but, well, we didn't. Here I was sitting on my ice throne and no not a toilet, I mean the large chair I made of ice, crafted by me of course, and we were stumped.

"You know, this wouldn't have happened if Drew hadn't been readying the map wrong and decided to fly ahead of everyone." May grumbled slouching herself up against a tree.

"Look I was just looking at was in here, you're the one that grew up exploring these woods or so you said." Drew snapped back at her from the top of the tree May was leaning on.

"Look grasshead, I don't care what you say this is your fault!"

"You two both need to cool down and I will make you!" Misty screamed at them, a ball of water forming in each hand. Both raised their hands keeping their mouths shut. As this was going on Paul emerged back from the shadows and Dawn from the sky.

"We found the way back." Dawn said as she hovered towards the ground.

"Let's go. The sun's starting to set and if we are staying on the ground again, I'm going to the underworld." Paul said in a monotone voice, as usual; let him bring down any bright moods that are here.

"But it is so comfy in this chair." I said as I scooted myself into the chair more before falling into a puddle of water. Looking around I saw May brushing her hands against each other beside where I was now on the ground.

"Damn, I touched the chair and it melted, better get going then." I glared at her as I stood up and wiped of my pants.

We followed Dawn; Paul said he would meet us at the end of the woods because he didn't feel like walking so he went through the shadows. We had made it out of the woods and Paul was nowhere to be seen. We waited for a few minutes when we noticed a group of girls, well I noticed, giggling around something. I walked up putting my charm on as the others followed me. I cleared my throat as I approached grabbing the girls' attention. They turned to me revealing Paul who looked like he was about to murder someone, well that might not be good cause well Dragon Soul of darkness and well death...ya this could be bad.

"Ladies, why would you want a grump like Paul when you can have a guy like this?" I put my hand behind my back creating an ice rose, then handing it to one of the lovely ladies.

"Um Gary, we need to keep going. The sun's almost down," I heard Leaf say from behind me.

"Huh, why would you go with that ragged bunch when you could come with us babe?" one of the girls, the blonde one, trailed her fingers down my arm in a seductive manner.

"Um," Leaf looked at me as the girls hovered over me. "Fine you won't get to hear the stories behind this whole thing" was that jealousy in her voice? Nah, she hates me...but maybe she's playing hard to get. Oh yes, play hard to get Leafy, I will get to you yet.

"Ya your right sorry ladies, but I have to go train more." I said brushing them off of me; damn this is hard to not go with them. You will survive Gary, you will survive. The girls whined and wondered off to the city, which we began to walk to as well, having May lead us to her home.

We soon arrived at May's home, it wasn't big, but it wasn't small, it was quant. I like the quant homes. May knocked on the door and opened it slowly. She invited us in but told us to be silent, "Mom, Dad, Max, I'm back! And I brought a surprise!" She called to the household. Soon three bodies emerged from the kitchen. A man, woman, and a kid, whom which May introduce us after being smothered by her family.

We were able to stay at her house and train at her dad's gym under one condition apparently. Her dad, Norman, had told us to make ourselves comfortable in the living room as we would have to introduce ourselves soon. Since they already knew our names, May wanted us to show them what Dragon Soul we were and the mark that we had.

Her father sat down on the chair, and the rest of the family on the couch, the rest of us on the floor. We introduced ourselves with our powers just as May had wanted us to, so that her parents would know who we were and know what we might cause by mistake.

"Well, now that we know about you a little, I have two things to say. The first is that I don't want you boys to touch my daughter. Understand?" I, along with Drew, Ash and Paul, nodded our heads. "Good, secondly, if you are staying in this household and using my gym, you eight will be attending May's high school." Wait...did he just say...

"High school!"

Alright, chapter complete. Woo. I'm just going to state that even though they are going to school, I will only be including certain parts of the school days. The only reason I am putting it in is because I am an evil person. Well not really, I will explain in the next chapter why I am doing this. But anyways, for now...Review! and farewell for now!
