Legends 22

I know it is short and late. But I do have reasoning. My friend had ended up in the hospital with kidney problems and that kinda put me in a bit of a slump. Then once I started getting out of that slump. The truck I had just purchased flipped while I was heading home from work one day. The cause is still unknown but I was not distracted at all during my driving. I had lost control suddenly and I don't remember much else except the fact I was on the side of the road and I was alive. I was not seriously injured but I was very stiff and bruised up. No one else had been in the car and I hit nobody while in the process of having no control. Smithyrob659 has see the pictures and is my proof of this. Just in case you don't believe me.

Enough of my rambling here is the newest edition to Legends.

It had been 2 months since we had left to begin our training with the dragons. Soon after arriving I had began to worry about my parents just waiting there, though the feeling was soon ended by Vatradom telling me that he sent Hilda and Hilbert them know where we were and that we were fine.

We had arrived in awe at the large grounds that were beneath us. A stone castle stood in solitary on an island filled with lush greenery, white, sandy beaches and crystal clear oceans. it was a paradise. A vacation that people would spend thousands of dollars on; it was right here in front of us.

Our current situation didn't let us relax and enjoy the beach thugh. Instead we were training our asses off without any hesitation. We did get stronger not just with our powers or physically, but we can work as a team much better now than ever before. We had gotten more agile and wiser knowing how to defend ourselves or counter attack against our enemies though we aren't too sure on how they will attack.

Currently, I was sitting at the large dining room table with Drew having our morning cup of coffee. This had turned into our morning routine, we both woke up earlier than the rest so we'd take turns on who would make it that mourning.

"So how is the married couple doing this morning?" Leaf's voice entered into the hall, catching my attention. She wore her battle armor which was best described as barbarian. She wore large shoulder guards made of steel that looked aged and worn. Too match, brown material and more covered her arms. Her chest was covered by a breastplate that ended just above the bottom of her breast. For support she had a leather strip covering her ribcage that connected to the breastplate by a golden coloured ring. Her bottoms consisted of a pair of leather shorts that barely covered the bottom half of her ass; which the boys took no complaint in. On her feet she wore thigh high, dark brown boot that buckled at the top. Her hair was tied back into a high ponytail with her bangs framing her face.

"How many times are you going to say that?" Drew asked, placing his mug into the large oak table.

"Well you keep doing it, so I am going to keep saying it. Do we have more coffee?" Leaf asked loudly, as I heard a cabinet close in the next room over. "Never mind, found it!" soon after hearing that, she had returned sipping on the liquid from the green mug in hand.

"What's up with you? You only ever drink your 'all natural tea' never touch my coffee." The change in her choice of hot beverage had me confused enough to ask.

"I was up all hours of the night working with Zemlistja and after this I get to go again. We're working on my defensive support so I can help protect everyone in battle."

"That's rough," Leaf nodded in agreeance with my statement before flipping into the seat next to me. "Vatradom and I are working on my archery skills, he says I am a natural but once I use my actual weapon it has a completely different feel than a regular bow and I can't get the feel of it."

We had all managed to revive or weapons if battle at long last. I got to be using a bow and arrow since I can set them in flames and have added attack damage. Drew uses a pair of daggers that turns into sickles. Leaf a large stone age covered in vines which she swings with ease. Gary has a long sword That is a crystal blue colours, he learned quickly to use it to it's full potential and transfer his power through it for freezing slashes. A large scythe that merged into the shadows along with him was Paul's. Dawn uses a scepter that fits her personality to a 'T'. Misty is now in posession of a large hammer made of water to be malleable but if hit by it, it packs a bigger punch than a bag of bricks. Ash has what is in my opinion the coolest weapons. He is armed with shuriken and kunaI that he is able to charge with electricity and act like a minI bomb either when it hits it's target or on a command.

"Aw man, my daggers are pretty easy to handle but these damn wings make it near impossible to see behind me." Drew added into the conversation.

"Morning everyone!" Dawn's voice chimmed in, soon followed by her body skipping into the kitchen followed by the wisps of shadow we've grown to know as Paul. He wasn't to fond of trying to find his way around the large castle so he just followed through in Dawn's shadows most of the time.

"Okay, now that brightness and darkness are here, when are the rest of the group going to wake up?" Leaf asked to no one in particular.

Dawn had returned with two mugs in bangs and say at the table, soon to have Paul appear in the seat next to her. "They're doing last minute training." the gruff voice was heard before taking a sip of his black coffee.

"Last minute?" I asked.

Dawn answered this time, " 65 days of training. Today is the 66th day. Well it ends the 65th in a couple of hours. Hence why we've been non-stop these last couple of weeks."

"Holy shit! I completely forgot" I quickly stood up knocking the seat that previously held my body into the floor. "I'm going to train some more!" I yelled as I rushed out of the room to find Vatradom. I needed to get used to my more than I am now so I can protect everyone.

After a few minutes, I was able to find my dragon friend in the entryway of the castle. "Vatradom, we gotta get me up to par with this archery!"

I was quickly shushed by the Dragon, "Not now child."

"May, get the others. We are leaving now." the serious tone I was not used to coming from Ash. "We were out training when we're were attacked by surprise. We are only alive now because of Gary freezing them before they could do too much damage. Misty is in bad condition though." No. God no. "Luna is working on healing her but we need to get in the skies before the dark forces come again."

And that is all. Leave a review and I hope to update with another chapter next month that will be longer than this.
