Legends 23

I know I am awful for not updating. I recently came to college and have become the epitome of laziness. I have taken advantage of the unlimited amount of internet I have here and binged so much shit on Netflix it's sad. I also didn't really know what to do with this chapter as for what to include in it and what not to etc. So I didn't entirely feel like writing. But it is here now so enjoy and read my Author's note at the bottom. I need the help of my readers.

Take off was initiate once the news was delivered to the others. Misty rode on Luna's back to heal while we flew back to the meeting hall. This is where we would be sent back to our world. We were all concerned about our fire-haired friend, though the way Ash refused to look away from her, I could tell he was worried even more.

The two of them had become great partners and best friends. They were always training together and most times could be found hanging about the castle with Leaf and Gary as well. Ash was having Manjaza fly next to Luna to keep an eye on the ginger haired woman, while I lead the pack atop Vatradom.

By the time we arrived back to the hall, Misty had regained consciousness and was doing better, though still very weak. Currently we stood in the large room we had been brought to to begin our training, cluing in how real this was all becoming rapidly.

Senka's gruff voice filled the hall, breaking the once nerve racking silence. "This is where we leave you. You shall go fight for your world's safety and do us proud."

The dragons stood tall as they bid us farewell for the time coming. I took this opportunity to bask in their power yet again. For such large reptiles I don't think I had ever seen anything as beautiful as the beasts that were before me. They were graceful, yet killers. Gentle, yet powerful. Strong, yet caring. They had become another family to me, Vatradom was the long-lost uncle that had appeared suddenly, like magic.

"Won't you be fighting with us?" A quiet and weak voice came from Misty.

Vodala looked down at the girl she had been training with, a kind smile looked to be on her face. "We cannot transfer through world's any more; the darkness took that power from us many moons ago. Instead we will fight this realms beasts and prevent further chaos for you young ones." Misty nodded as we took in the information that had been spoken.

What was this power that was lost exactly? The offspring are a la to travel to our world but they haven't earned their full power yet. Maybe the darkness didn't take the power from the offspring because they hadn't been born yet. Or maybe the offspring will loos their ability once they gain their true power. Although, while we were staying at my house the dragons had appeared before us.

"If you can't travel between worlds, then how were we able to see you when we had first began to meet up?" I asked, turning my head to face the red dragon.

"That was Hilda and Hilbert's hologram technology they had created." wow, simple and lame. "Enough of that topic. Let us begin to tell you who and what we believe you will be up against."

Myself and the others stood side by side at this point. We listened to Draki explain with great detail the beasts of the darkness. One of the stronger beings are demons; these would be dealt with by water and ice. They were fire creatures so Misty's water would harm them, and Gary would be freezing them and once melted would deal great damage after cooling their bodies. Shadow Clarks would be left to Dawn and Leaf. The monsters have an ability to blend in with the shadows much like Paul. Leaf would trap them in location feeling their presence and then Dawn's light would burn them. Other creatures included blood hounds, that we had met up with before, spiderlings, spider like creatures with fast mobility and deadly poison, and Death Riders, no other way to put it but some form of zombie. They were slow but able to strike quickly and effectively, they were barely decomposed and only slightly gory to the look but easy to deal with.

"Drew, Paul, Ash, and May, you will find the leaders of the darkness army. Take out whatever forces you can but your main focus will be to find the five." Zemljista began her part of the information, "We are unable to provide you with much information about them though. They don't show their faces in the Dragon Realm, as they know that they are no match for our army here."

"If you find one of the members you are forbidden to fight alone. These are not forces to be reckoned with so you will fight in groups. It doesn't matter if you don't have someone with you at the time, you either find someone and return or you avoid them at all costs." The voice now came from Manjaza. "If you make one wrong move whilst facing a leader, you have a high chance of losing your life. They will not hold back."

"So we shouldn't worry at all then." Dawn said with her face towards the ground.

"What are you talking about? Of course we could lose our lives out there!" Gary's voice echoed through the room, silence overcoming the room shortly after.

Dawn looked up suddenly at Gary, her face scared and stern. "We are still fighting! We are still going to battle! Even if there is a high chance of dying, we are doing it anyway." Tears began to form in her eyes, "if I don't fight then I won't be the only one who is dying! I have people I need to protect and I will do my damn best to protect their lives; even if that means I need to lose mine in return!" The tears began to streak her porcelain face.

A hand placed itself a top Dawn's head, "always troublesome aren't you? If you die, who's going to protect them once you're gone. Do yourself a favor, keep living. We need a healer anyways."

"Paul has a good point. If anybody does kick the bucket, I will bring you back then kill you myself." May joined in her fists engulfed in flames to show her readiness to battle. The flames were soon extinguished, being dowsed by the Misty's water.

Misty leaned on May for some extra support as she still was recovering from the earlier ambush. "Well if we are all ready, I think that it is about time to do some ass kicking."

"May, you are the leader so you lead your friends to victory." Vatradom smiled before nodding his head in the direction of the newly formed ring of light that was on the wall. Luna's work of art, it would allow the teens to go back to their own realm so that they could begin their fight. "Go win your fight. I look forward to seeing you kids again."

Doing as told to the teen walked through the portal individually, arriving back to the forest the had disappeared from two months prior. "Fuck, we are back to where we were transported from. Already separated, this isn't good." May stated to herself and Gary, who stood in the barren field between the trees.

"Relax, we were all engaged in combat at the time, so we are in groups of at least two." Gary reassured the brunette. A loud crash could be heard in the direction of the city, drawing the attention of the opposite elements. "Shit! That's the city!"

"Let's go!" May began to run back into the trees, heading in the direction of the city, Gary followed quick on her trail.

Before long the two had emerged from the line of trees and saw what the lush greenery had been hiding. The city's outskirts were in shambles, the smoke they had seen early was nothing compared to what they were now witness to. "Fuck," May looked to Gary though only seeing a pillar of ice, to which the boy she looked for jumped down from a moment later. "Surrounding cities are just as bad. I imagine evacuation was dealt with at the beginning of the threat. We can only hope everyone had gotten out alive." May stood in silence, the thought of her family just coming to her.

"Dammit! Cover me!" May yelled, running towards the burning city. A shriek could be heard as Gary watched a large black wave of energy appear in front of May, most likely hitting her in the process.

"Do you want to get slaughtered?!" the voice recognised as Paul. He and Leaf rode on the back of an oversized Houndoom, to whom they remembered as Paul's pet from the underworld. "You can't act on impulse! your family will be fine, they knew this was going to happen, in fact they were probably the first to evacuate."

Once May was calmed down emotionally, Leaf explained to her and Gary that they had gone to the field and met up with the others. Dawn and Drew had checked the surrounding area just as they had and decided to go with Ash and Misty to check on some other towns to make sure they were all clear. they would be checking Petalburg and then the the routes. If anything it to happen they will send a signal to the sky to call for help.

"Okay, that sounds like a plan. Well let's get a move on then. We have a realm to save."
