...hi.

I'm not going to make up excuses. I've been slack. So before you ask, this chapter did not take half a year to write. I actually decided to stop, due to lack of interest. But the guilty is eating me up- I'm going to try. I promise.

Chapter 3. Here we go. Hope you enjoy it.

Disclaimer: I don't own Twilight. But I own AlecXMaggie. That's all mine ;)

Hells Angels

Jane met us at the airport.

Her short- recently dyed bleach blonde for a scarier effect- hair and angelic features made her easy to spot through the crowd. She wore blue contacts which gave her eye a purplish tinge. I wore brown contacts to hide my iris pupils. I was basically dragging Maggie, as her legs were to limp for her to stand on her own. But I saw the look on her face when she saw my sister standing at the terminal. It was so full of terror it was nearly amusing. Jane smiled at Maggie sweetly, then embraced me.

"Brother," she said, "You've done well."

"Thank you Jane," I hoisted Maggie, who was sagging to the ground, up on my shoulder, "She was not very co-operative to start, but I think she's starting to get the idea."

Maggie groaned loudly, earning some startled looks from humans passing through the terminal. I forced more energy into her, making her flop heavily against my side. I hadn't been able to force contacts onto her eyes, so a pair of Ray-ban sunglasses I'd found in the boot concealed her glowing red eyes. Her eyes were drooped closed due to my numbing gift, but you couldn't be too careful in an area as crowded with humans as an airport. Heidi was bringing her jet, but until it arrived we needed to stay hidden.

Jane tilted Maggie's chin and looked her over. She was tiny compared to the Irish vampire, but her power over Maggie made the difference unrecognisable. The girl was stone stiff, her hands twitching as Jane twisted one curl of red hair around her finger and tugged lightly.

"She's very nomad," Jane mused, "Very messy. I'll neaten her up."

I smiled at Jane's fantasies. She was feared through the world, yet she still wanted to play dress up with our new piece of Aro's collection. Maggie's hands were still shaking when Jane released her and turned sharply, beckoning me to follow her.

We got a few confused looks through customs. The black cloaks and half unconscious redhead must have drawn some attention at least. But a few bundles of cash later, we were sitting in the VIP terminal for private jets. Jane sat opposite me, watching Maggie's every move with sheer fascination. The redhead was sprawled across my lap, eyelids heavy and making little moaning noises every so often. I kept the flow of my gift consent, but less intensely. I didn't need to with my sister here. If Maggie made a move to escape, Jane would hit her with so much of her power the Irish vampire would be begging for us to kill her.

"How did her coven mates react?" Jane asked me out of the blue. I was surprised by this. Jane didn't usually care about anything but getting the job done.

"Badly," I admitted, "Siobhan made several comments that suggest this meant war."

"She wouldn't," Jane scoffed, "She has too much to lose."

"The Cullen's owe her," I reminded her, "If they join her…"

"The Irish are too proud to admit loss," Jane smirked, "And whether they come on their own, or with friends, they will be destroyed."

Maggie made a garbled noise that sounded a lot like you bitch. Jane cocked her head and I prepared for Maggie to start screaming in pain.

Nothing. Jane looked away and Maggie's muscles relaxed.

My sister was losing her touch.

"Jane. Alec. And Maggie," came a deep voice behind us, "Colour me impressed, Ally."

I winced, knowing before I turned it was Felix. He'd given me my girl nickname when my hair had been longer than my sister's when I was a newborn, before I'd got it cut to suit modern times. His grin widened as he took in Maggie, lying across my lap, and my annoyed expression. Jane stood and her expression turned back to deadly serious. I was the only person my sister could be herself around- as soon as someone else showed up, she went from Jane to Jane, the terrifying, merciless psyco that everyone was so afraid of. And when we were alone, we could talk like old times, like it was just us two, like we had always been, human or vampire.

She was the only one I really cared about.

"Felix. Take her," I commanded, "She's feisty, I warn you."

"I like feisty," Felix tossed her up in his arms like she weighed, "She's pretty, you known when she's not scowling. Siobhan ruined her."

Maggie let out a pathetic hiss that died on her lips. Jane smirked.

"Come brother. Aro will be pleased."

I stood up a little straighter. Maggie let out an indecent snort of laughter, waking up slightly.

"Pet," she snickered.

I didn't even bother drugging her. As soon as she uttered a word of disdain toward me, Jane's head shot up and she turned to glared at Maggie, making the Irish vampire cringe back.

I shot my sister a tired look, "Jane, really."

She looked away from the girl and too me, returning my look, "I don't care how upset she is, she will not insult you, brother. Never." She glared at the girl, "Do I have your attention now Magdalene?"

Maggie growled and rolled harshly, out of Felix's arms, landing heavily on the floor. She towered over Jane. Her red eyes flickered with hate under the sunglasses.

"You're scared," she told my sister, "You lie to everyone so they think you're invincible, so they don't question you. But you're scared. Scared of reject, scared of being hurt, scared of everyone. A little kid. Just like Alec."

The VIP terminal as silent. It was only me, Felix, Maggie and Jane, but somehow tension was so high, it felt like the room was full.

The silence was pierced by a scream. Via Maggie. I winced as she collapsed and rolled around, withering in pain. Jane's gift was terrifying, to think it could reduce any vampire to a ball on the floor.

"I think," Jane hissed at Maggie, who was shrieking in pain on the floor, "We will get on much better if you learn to shut your mouth, Magdalene."

I placed a hand on my sister's shoulder, "Jane…"

She pushed me away, "I'm not a little kid," she growled at Maggie, "Could a little kid tear you to pieces just by looking at you? I could make you tear your own head off if I…"

"Jane," my voice was sterner this time, "Think, sister."

I was the only one who could calm Jane down. When she got sadistic and crazy, I was the only one who could lay a hand on her. I was the only one she wouldn't, couldn't, harm.

Maggie's screams stopped and her tense body relaxed, enough so I could pick her up and toss her like a ragdoll over my shoulder. My sister glared at Maggie like she was Alice Cullen or something. Felix muttered something like no contest and led us onto the plane.

As I walked down the aisle, Felix slouched in a seat in aisle H and Jane sat primly down a few seats in front of him. I set Maggie down in a seat and sat opposite her, the aisle dividing us. She would need her space. She wouldn't get any in the Volturi.

A human air hostess, probably hired by Heidi, trampled down the aisle. She stopped and glanced at Maggie, then to me.

"Anything, sir?" she asked. Her voice sounded a little confused at Maggie and my age. We both physically looked very young. She obviously hadn't been 'told'. Heidi rarely did share that kind of information, unless she assumed them completely loyal, like Gianna.

She continued down the aisle when I shook my head to Felix and asked the same question. Felix grinned.

"Yes," he looked her up and down appreciatively, "But I don't believe she's on the menu."

The hostess giggled, but also looked slightly terrified at Felix's sadistic smile.

I rolled my eyes and turned around and looked over to the seats to Felix, "Daddy, how long?"

The air hostess straightened and nearly fled the room with her trolley. She obviously had never seen a family on a plane quite like us. Felix gave me a long, hateful glare.

"I wouldn't have done it," he complained, "I was just playing."

"What would Mummy think?" Jane teased. She wasn't meant to be jokey and join in on our games, but Felix was like the big brother we never had, whether he liked it or not. In return, we had to keep him in order. Whether he liked it or not.

The air hostess did not return. I didn't talk to Felix or Jane, constantly keeping both eyes on Maggie. Jane eventually came up and sat beside me, and began filling me in on what had happened in my time away.

"Demetri found Hanbei and Arwin," she said proudly, "He's tracking them as we speak."

I raised my eyes at this, "The Asian nomad and his psychotic mate? Impressive, sister."

"It is," Jane insisted, "They've been invisible for decades and now, bang. They just appear. It's strange. Demetri's being careful," she sighed, "I haven't seen Arwen for years. Remember that time in America? We had to pull a heck of a lot of strings to let that one slid."

I did remember America. Arwen had been a newborn, and completely feral. After she killed the coven that created her, she went on a worldwide rampage. Her body count was higher than any other vampire had managed by himself or herself. The humans had called her The Red Lady. When the Volturi had sent scouts, she'd killed them. When they'd sent Jane and Alec, she'd run away. She'd been off the books until early eighteenth century, when she'd given herself up. The rules said she had to die. Aro said she had to join them

It was the first and last time I'd ever questioned Aro's leadership.

What followed was another bloodbath throughout Italy as Arwen escaped. She disappeared to China, found Hanbei and the two had been gone ever since.

I glanced over at Maggie. She stared straight ahead, blankly, at the seat in front of her. I lessened the leak of numbness I was pushing into her body.

Sometimes, hopelessness was a much more powerful sedative than anything I could conjure up.

Her head turned. The sunglasses were sliding off her face. I could feel the heat of her glare. I Turned and met her eyes with a stare of the same intensity. When she didn't shudder, look away or even twitch, I was impressed. Her head cocked slightly and her burgundy eyes glowed.

"I know Ally's incredibly sexy and all, but really, newbie," Felix spoke up, 'Staring is rude."

I snapped my glare back to him, "Shut your mouth, guard."

His look let me know immediately that I'd hurt his feelings, but also that he was shocked. I'd never snapped at Felix like that before. I'd never snapped at anyone before. I'd apologise, but…

"Don't stare at my brother, nomad," Jane snapped at Maggie. That didn't deter the Irish vampire. A single red curl fell on her face. The blazing eyes, unruly haired, wild look made her look dangerous. Less like a girl, more like the blood drinker she was.

I spoke, slowly, deliberately, "Is there anything you want?"

Maggie cocked her head further, "Hm. I'm not sure. What could I possibly want?"

I stood, walked into the aisle and kneeled down, "I don't want to fight, Magdalene. On top of my sister and Aro, I'm the most forgiving person you're ever going to cross paths with again." And sanest.

"What a relief," Sarcasm dripped from her words, "I do want something else actually."

I smiled, "What?"

She smiled back, a nice smile, a kind smile, quite sweet. It was the facial expression that suited her. She leaned forward, putting her lips to my ears and whispered something.

"Stop telling the truth. It doesn't suit you."

I was confused by her words, when suddenly Maggie leapt backwards. The sunglasses flew off, her red hair exploded around her face and her elbow met the window of the airplane. The double glazed, 5 inch thick glass stood no chance against her vampire strength, even if she wasn't as strong as I was. The window shattered, and a loud wailing siren burned my ears as oxygen masks fell from the ceiling.

Momentarily distracted, I couldn't even comprehend, let alone stop Maggie before she wiggled through the vacuum that used to be a window, pushed her slim body through and fell away from the airplane, out of sight.

Ooooooo. Cliffhanger.

I'll try and make more regular updates. I want to get somewhere with this. I hope there's more interest in this story after this. But I'm happy with all my current readers. You guys are the best!

See you all again soon.
