You guys I have been busy with personal life and I am so sorry. Life has been kicking my family and I in the ASS! I wrote this story for Brendafa after they sent me a request. Thank you for wanting to read more of my Quinncedes fics. I'm always nervous about my fics, but I get really nervous when people request a fic. I hope this excessive wait was worth it. Please forgive my errors I still don't have a BETA. I do not own Glee. Enjoy!

Mercedes was on the phone with her best friend Kurt as she walked into her kitchen. Mercedes was accepted into Ohio State her senior year of High School and while her best friend moved out to New York to fulfill his fashion dreams they continued to stay in contact. Mercedes was majoring in music and as soon as she graduated she had dreams of moving out to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of being a famous singer.

"Kurt no! This is your tenth time visiting that pizza parlor this week and if I have to hear about you gaining more weight then I'm going block your number." Mercedes reached into her refrigerator and pulled out a bottle of water.

Usually as a college freshman you don't get your own apartment, but Mercedes' parents thought that it would teach her more responsibility than being in a dorm. The college dorms weren't too far away from her actual apartment so she was still involved with other students and fun college activities.

"Oh that's my man calling me. I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"Tell Karofsky I said hey." Mercedes shared before she hung up.

As Mercedes was heading to bed she heard a knock at her door. Suspicion ran through her mind, but she headed to her door and looked through the peep hole. Mercedes whispered to herself "what in the world?" She opened the door to a tear stained eyes blonde with a baby and a duffle bag. "Quinn?"

"Mercedes I'm so sorry to show up like this, but I don't have anywhere else to go. She won't stop crying and I have nothing and no one to go to."

"Come in. Come in." Mercedes took the bag from off of her shoulder and lead her to the couch. "Quinn what happened? How did you even know where I was?"

"I asked around on Facebook. I know we haven't talked in a while, but I didn't have anywhere else to go. My parents kicked me out after my baby bump was visible."

"Quinn that was,"

"Around graduation." She nodded. "I know."

"Well what happened with Noah?" Mercedes asked as she brought Quinn a bottle of water.

"He wanted nothing to do with us. He didn't think that she was his because of my incident with Finn, but I swear on everything that she is his."

"I believe you. Where have you two been since graduation?" Mercedes watched as Quinn squeezed the very last bit of baby formula into the bottle to feed to the small blonde.

"We've been in motels when I could afford it and if not then it was shelters. That's how I've been able to get small samples of formula, shampoo, and clothes for her." The blonde explained.

"How old is she?" Mercedes asked as the tiny blonde gripped at Mercedes finger.

"Seven months."

"Quinn! That's too long. Has she been to the doctors since you gave birth? Has she had her shots? Have you had your shots?"

"I scraped up enough for her shots and mine and when I say scraped I mean I had to sell my blood a few times and I had to sell some of my clothes. My entire family disowned me and I didn't have many friends in high school especially since my pink hair bitch phase. I'm sorry for popping up on you like this I just didn't have anywhere else to go."

"Quinn you do not need to apologize for showing up in time of need. I don't have much right now, but we can take a trip out to Babies R' Us and Target tomorrow. My dad is a lawyer and my mom is a pediatrician. She's off tomorrow and so am I. They'll remember you and want to help. My dad can help with any legal situations you might have and my mom will be more than happy to help you out with any kind of checkups."

"Mercedes, I don't want to impose I just needed a place to stay for a week. The shelter was full and,"

"Quinn stop. I know we haven't been close since the beginning of junior year, but I still know you and I can't have you and your baby out struggling when you can be here with a roof over your head and food in your stomachs. My place isn't big, but I'm willing to share. I'll watch her while you go wash up. Did you eat today?"

Quinn started crying as she shook her head. "I haven't eaten in four days and it feels like I haven't slept in months."

Mercedes wrapped the blonde up in her arms and pulled her in close to her. Mercedes felt horrible for her old classmate. In high school she showed signs of great potential. Her parents were wealthy, she always dressed in the finest fashion, she had straight A's, and she seemed like she had everything perfectly planned out for her, but that's life. It hits you in the worst kind of way.

She and Mercedes met their freshman year of high school. Quinn was a cheerleader and Mercedes was in the glee club. They only ran in the same circles because Mercedes best friend Kurt and his step brother was the head quarterback for their football team. Whether it be a football party or it was just them having lunch they hung out and got pretty close. She, Mercedes, and Kurt even had a sleepover or two. They weren't best friends, but they were friends.

Junior year was when she took a turn for the worst. That's when she met the new kid Noah Puckerman. He had a mohawk, wore leather jackets, and rode a motorcycle to school every day. He convinced Quinn to drop the preppy look and she did. She cut her long blonde tendrils and wore a hot pink bob. He hated her cardigans and dresses so she started dressing like a Hot Topic sales associate. You would think that would've been what sent her parents into a frenzy, but apparently that wasn't even the tip of the iceberg.

Mercedes took the little blonde from Quinn's arms and lead her to the bathroom where she'd find fresh towels, a bottle of body soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo and conditioner. "I'm going next door to ask my neighbor if she has any spare clothes. She's about your size and height. We'll be back... what's her name?"

"Beth Lillian Fabray." A proud smile appeared on Quinn's face even through the red eyes and drained.

"Aww Lillian is my middle name, too." Mercedes shared with a smile. "Beth and I will be right back." With that Mercedes left Quinn to clean up as she headed to her friend's place.

"Who the hell is knocking on my door at," the blonde swung the door opened only to see Mercedes holding a little blonde baby. "Cedes what the hell? It's almost one in the morning and why are you holding a little white baby?"

"It's a long story so I'll give you the run down, but first I need to know if you have any spare clothes for a friend of mine?"

"Oh my gosh Cedes are you high?" Kitty leaned towards her and whispered. "Did you steal this white baby? Is this a prank?"

"Kitty shut up and let me in and no I am not high." Mercedes and Beth headed into the all white and beige apartment and followed the blonde in her white silk pajamas.

Kitty leaned against her door frame and took in what Mercedes had just told her. "So are you going to let her stay and for how long?"

Mercedes shrugged. "Until she can get herself back onto her feet. It could be a week, months," Mercedes shrugged. "I don't know. I do know that I want to help her though. She ended high school kind of rocky, but she's a good person."

"Well you're better than me because I know for a fact that I wouldn't even have answered that door."

"You know what, for some reason that doesn't surprise me." Mercedes snorted. "Thanks again, Kit." Mercedes smiled at her friend as she headed back to her apartment. She knocked on the bathroom door and waited until Quinn opened it so that she could hand her the clothes. "While we're shopping for Beth tomorrow we'll grab you some stuff too."

"Mercedes that's unnecessary. This is more than enough."

"Quinn stop fighting me on this besides it'll give me a reason to shop and spend my parent's money."

Mercedes headed to her room and grabbed her pillows and placed them on the couch.

She remembered that she had a baby gift basket that she bought for an old co-worker, but because she found something better at the last minute she never gave it to her. Kurt always called Mercedes a pack rat, but this time it actually came in handy. She made a mental note to rub it in his face later on.

Mercedes heard Quinn come out of the bathroom so she headed out of her room with Beth and the basket. "Not returning things can sometimes come in handy. I think the onesie in the gift basket should fit. There's also baby wash, baby lotion, and baby shampoo in there. Once you're done I'll have a plate for you on the counter and hopefully the bed will be made up in time." Mercedes handed Beth back to Quinn and made her way to the kitchen.

Quinn couldn't believe this. She didn't think that Mercedes would even open the door let alone let her and her daughter stay in her apartment. Mercedes was always very giving and helpful, but this was more than Quinn expected. She had to pay Mercedes back times ten.

A more refreshed Quinn and Beth stepped out of the bathroom and immediately Quinn's nose smelled something familiar and delicious.

"Hey so I hope you still eat meat because I have left over pot roast, broccoli, and macaroni and cheese. My mom came over yesterday and dropped it off. Do you remember Kurt?" Mercedes asked and Quinn nodded. "I told him what my mom made and he was pissed. He told me to ship it to him." Mercedes chuckled.

She took Beth from Quinn so that she could eat. "If you need me to do a late night run and grab her some formula I can."

Quinn was too busy stuffing her face to give a clear response. Mercedes noticed her trying to answer her, but she waived her off and laughed. "Don't worry about it. Finish your food."

Mercedes made the couch her bed and against Quinn's request Mercedes took the couch anyways and let Quinn and Beth take the bed.

"Mommy she needed my help." Mercedes whispered as she made breakfast. She woke up early to grab some formula for Beth and some more eggs. She had just gotten back from the store when her mom called her. "Yes, the same blonde Quinn from high school. Her baby is so precious and I cannot have them out on the streets."

Mercedes heard footsteps and told her mom that she'd call her back. "Good morning. I made breakfast and I have a bottle already ready for Beth. How did you sleep?"

Quinn couldn't believe how caring and hospitable Mercedes was. She always knew Mercedes as being kind, but she couldn't believe how fast she took her in and treated her as if she wasn't a burden. "Thank you."

"Quinn, please don't cry." Mercedes headed over to the blonde and hugged her and Beth.

"It's been so hard. I'm trying I really am." She sobbed into Mercedes arms.

"I know Quinn and you're holding it together better than I would."

"Am I though?" Quinn joked as she wiped her tears.

Mercedes chuckled. "Yes you are and I'm so proud of you." Mercedes wiped her tears away. "Now let's eat so that we can go shopping for you and this little one." Mercedes took Beth from her so that she could eat.

They were reminiscing about their sleepovers when Mercedes got a knock at the door. She got up and checked the peephole before opening the door. Just as Mercedes was about to greet her mother Mrs. Patrice squealed out in awe at the cubby cheeked baby in her daughter's hands.

"Look at this precious little angel. I could just eat you up." She cooed causing Beth to giggle. Mrs. Patrice looked at the familiar face and smiled. "Quinn it's so lovely to see you again."

"Same here." Quinn nervously swallowed. She wasn't sure what Mrs. Patrice's thoughts were on unplanned teen pregnancies. She hoped that this shopping trip wasn't a lesson on waiting until marriage. She appreciated them treating her, but if she was going to be lectured about something that's already happened she would opt to sit this trip out and find another shelter to go to.

"Are we ready to go shopping?" Mrs. Patrice asked with excitement as she held Beth.

"I don't have a car seat for her." Quinn shared quietly.

"No worries. I picked one up for my car on the way over. If you're going to be staying with Cedes for a while I might as well get one for my car. I figured that you would want to pick out your own for Mercedes car or your car if you have one?"

"I do, but it has a flat tire and the radiator over heated. I'm working on getting it fixed though. Once I get a job of course." She replied meekly once again feeling more than ashamed as she explained her situation.

"Nonsense, Mercedes has no problem with being a temporary vehicle until we can find you another car." Patrice noticed the ashamed look on the blonde's face. She walked over to her and took her hand. "Sweetheart you are now part of this family. You do not need to be ashamed to ask for help nor do you need to be too proud to receive gifts. This one here calls me every weekend to use my money for shopping even though she has her own money and a well paid job." Patrice side eyed her daughter and smiled. "Come on."

Quinn grabbed her hand and squeezed it.

"In my defense I do it to spend quality time with you." Mercedes said on her behalf as she locked her door. The three laughed as they headed to the elevator.

Hours went by, laughs were exchanged, stomachs were filled, and fun was had. The whole day was what Quinn hadn't had in what felt like years. She missed this and she was beyond grateful for Mercedes and Mrs. Patrice. They literally took her in and they didn't even question her about paying them off. They didn't make her feel like an outcast and she had to hold back tears all day because all she wanted was for her and her daughter to feel loved. Today they felt that.

"Sweetheart do you have enough room for all of this? I can take some of it to my house and you can just pick it up whenever you guys need it. I can tell your father to come over on his day off to build your shelf."

"Mommy it's okay. It'll give us something to do tomorrow. I know that you work tomorrow so go ahead and get some rest."

"Are you sure?" The taller woman asked.

"Yes. Go ahead and get some rest and tell daddy that we said hi."

Patrice grabbed her purse and put it over her shoulder. "Okay. Oh Quinn sweetie I set up an appointment at my facility for Beth to get her checkups, is that ok?"

"Oh we don't have insurance. I usually just take her to the free clinic near the women's center."

"Mommy can't she sign up for free insurance at your clinic? She has an address and a permanent phone number now."

"She absolutely can. Many mothers have signed up for it. I accept it at my facility. If you want we can check that out?" Patrice asked.

Quinn nodded. "I'd really appreciate that. Thank you once again." She hugged Patrice tightly and thanked her once more. "I promise I'll pay you all back as soon as I can."

"You worry about you and that precious girl of yours. We're family and we don't do things in return of anything. We were blessed enough to help and we want to." Patrice kissed her forehead, and then Beth's and finally Mercedes'. "You girls have fun. Call me or your father if you need anything." She blew kisses before walking out.

"I love your mom."

"She has that effect." Mercedes replied with a smile. "Let's set this bed up so that Beth can have somewhere to sleep tonight. I'll wash her sheets now so that they'll be done by the time we finish. Mercedes headed off to wash the new blankets while Quinn pushed the box into Mercedes' room.

Quinn heard a knock and asked Mercedes if she wanted her to get it. Mercedes gave her the go ahead.

Kitty was greeted by Quinn and was slightly taken aback. "Ummm where is Mercedes?" The rude blonde asked as she helped herself in. "Oh my God did you kill her? Cedes!" Kitty shouted as she headed towards the back.

"Kit why the hell are you yelling?" Mercedes asked as she came out of her laundry room.

"Who is this blonde? Are you replacing me for someone younger? Am I not enough?"

Mercedes laughed at her delusional friend. "Why are you sounding like a jealous girlfriend? This is my friend Quinn from high school. She's Beth's mother. Remember her?"

Kitty looked over at the blonde and sized her up. "She needs a makeover. She's a mess." Kitty whispered.

"Will you stop being so rude? She looks fine." Mercedes gathered the trash and walked it to her trash can. "Do you want to stay over while we set up Beth's crib?"

"So this is permanent?" Kitty said out loud.

If looks could kill. "Yes, now stop being so damn rude."

"How was that rude?" Kitty asked, but Mercedes just ignored her.

"Anyways Quinn and I will be having dinner and ice cream once we finish. I would invite you, but you obviously don't know how to act around others."

Kitty gasped and held her chest. "I'm offended."

"Well whenever you get your act straight then maybe we'll let you join. Come on Quinn." Mercedes childishly stuck her tongue out to Kitty as she headed into the bedroom to set the crib up.

"Whatever. I have to work tomorrow, but I'm calling you for our lunch date. Love you!" Kitty shouted as she walked out.

"Shit. I completely forgot about that." Mercedes looked at Quinn. "I can cancel."

"What? No go. I don't want you to stop living your life because I'm here. Beth and I will have a Sid The Science Kid marathon here." She smiled. "It's fine really."

"Are you sure? I have school too so I'm going to be out all day." Mercedes explained.

"We'll be fine."

And she was for a moment that was until Beth started fussing. Quinn was trying to cook something for herself and make Beth's bottle, but Beth wouldn't stop crying. Quinn tried shaking the rattle toy as she headed back to the kitchen. It wasn't working. Quinn had gotten so distracted that when she reached for the food she burned herself and dropped her plate on the floor. "Shit!"

Mercedes and Kitty walked in laughing until Mercedes heard Beth crying and saw Quinn on the floor cleaning up. Kitty headed towards Beth while Mercedes headed to Quinn. "Quinn what happened?"

"Beth wouldn't stop crying and I burned my hand on my food. I'm fine though." Quinn claimed.

Mercedes stopped her and gently took her hands in hers. "Quinn your hands are red. If you were having a hard time you should've called me." Mercedes got up to grab her first aid kit then sat back down with her.

"You were out with your friend and I didn't want to be a burden."

"Quinn stop saying that. You're not a burden you're my friend. I would've had no problem with calling lunch short to help you with Beth." Mercedes put some aloe vera to the burn and blew gently on her burn marks.

As Kitty bounced Beth on her hip she noticed the way Quinn looked at Mercedes. She wouldn't say anything, because she didn't think it was any of her business. She cleared her throat and walked closer to the girls. "I think this one needs a new diaper. Where are they?"

"I'll take her. Thank you." Quinn replied as she got up and took Beth to the bedroom.

"I'm heading back home. Call me if you need me." Kitty said. She kissed Mercedes cheek and headed out.

Quinn came out with a freshened up Beth who was now sporting a smile on her face. "No more stinky baby." Quinn announced as she kissed her daughter's cheek.

Mercedes reached out to hold Beth. "I get off of work at two tomorrow is that okay? I can ask Kitty to help out until I come home."

"No I'm okay. I don't need to put anyone else out of their way."

"Quinn."

"I know." She took a deep breath. "I'll be okay. Today was just a minor bump in the road."

Mercedes sighed. "Fine, but afterwards we're going out for lunch. Just the three of us."

"Okay."

Quinn couldn't lie as days went by and Mercedes went to work and school she enjoyed the time they spent together. She enjoyed their late night snack sessions and their talks. She missed this. She hadn't had this since they were in high school. Quinn was doing fine with Beth by herself and she didn't mind Mercedes having her own life. Quinn wished she had her own life, but with no job, car, money, and friends it wasn't in the picture for her.

"My ex was always jealous of my relationship with Kitty." Mercedes admitted.

Quinn ate a spoonful of ice cream and cocked her brow. "Really? I thought guys always had fantasies about that?"

"I'm sure they do, but my ex was a girl. She would say that I spent too much time with Kitty, but she and I are just friends. She's like an older sister."

"Wait, but didn't you date Matt in high school?"

"I did. I also dated Tina."

"Shut up! No you didn't. What? Wait when did this happen?" Quinn asked now fully intrigued.

Mercedes chuckled. "It was just a week before graduation. We didn't last long, but we still talk. I'm bisexual Quinn I thought I mention that?"

The blonde shook her head.

"Do you have a preference?" Quinn asked almost avoiding eye contact.

"That depends. I like who I like. Sometimes I prefer women over men and sometimes I just want to have sex with men. Kitty and Kurt said that I'm just using men for sex."

"Are you?" Quinn asked.

"That sounds so harsh. I like men, but sometimes they can be stupid. They're controlling and they love playing mind games. I'm a simple chick. Tell me how you feel. Tell me what you want to know because I can't read your mind." Mercedes shrugged. "I recently had a boyfriend, but he broke my heart. I gave up the dating game for a bit and just started having fun."

"Well that's good. I gave up dating in general. My last fling went south before we even got off of the ground and Noah well," Quinn paused. "We know how that went."

"He's an asshole. Throw his name in the trash and burn it. I say we go out tomorrow night with Kitty and we find you and Kit a man and I'll find my next fling."

Quinn shook her head. "No. I don't think I'm ready and plus explaining Beth will just scare them off."

"If they run then that helps you eliminate the douchebags. You have a beautiful baby girl in that room and if they don't want to stick around and be part of her life then so be it. Let them run." Mercedes explained as she stole some of Quinn's ice cream. "Look if you're not ready to date then that's fine. Just come out with us and have some fun. Kitty can get us into her friend's club."

"What about Beth?"

"My mom has been begging me for weeks to bring her over so I'm sure she won't mind watching Beth until we come back."

Quinn moved her now melted ice cream around as she thought about Mercedes offer. She did want to get out and meet people and a club would be a fun place to go. She was also happy to hear Mercedes mom ask to spend time with her daughter as well. She took a deep breath and smiled. "Okay I'll go."

Mercedes bounced in her seat with glee. "Yay! Let me call my mom and Kit to let them know." Mercedes got up and left Quinn to herself.

Kitty, Mercedes, Quinn, and Beth headed out to find Quinn something to wear. She had regular day clothes, but nothing to wear out to the club.

"Cedes what about this one?" Kitty suggested as she held up an all black outfit for Mercedes to wear.

"That's sexy!" Mercedes headed over to get the outfit so that she could try it on. "Quinn did you find anything yet?" Mercedes asked as she looked over at a confused Quinn.

"Where does my arm go?"

Mercedes chuckled. "For starters those are pants." She put them back and handed her a dress. Try this on. Come on." Mercedes pushed Beth's stroller towards the changing rooms only for Kitty to step in.

"I'll watch her. Go ahead." Kitty said with dismay.

"Thank you Kitty." Mercedes sang with a smile as she pulled Quinn into the dressing room with her.

Mercedes changed out of her jeans and into the outfit that Kitty put together.

Quinn tried her best not to look at Mercedes ample behind, but she couldn't help.

She heard Mercedes ask her something and she immediately turned her head the opposite direction. "I'm sorry what was that?"

"I said why aren't you changing?"

"Umm," Quinn cleared her throat. "I'm not sure this dress is me."

"No offense, but that's a good thing. You dress like an old lady."

Quinn laughed and slapped Mercedes shoulder. "I do not!"

Mercedes laughed. "You do! It's cute though! It's almost like a sexy librarian."

Quinn's mouth dropped. "I am officially offended." She teased.

"This dress will show off that smokin' hot body of yours. The guys will drop to their knees when they see you."

Quinn sized up the dress and thought about it. "You think it's sexy?"

Mercedes nodded.

Quinn took a deep breath. "Okay."

"Mommy we'll be back around 1:30. Is that okay?"

"You know I thought about it and I want her all weekend." Patrice bounced Beth on her hip. She looked to Quinn. "Is that okay?"

Quinn had never left her daughter alone with anyone before especially not for a whole weekend. She never had anyone that she trusted around them that was until now. She bit her lip and thought about it for a moment. "Yeah. Yeah she can stay."

"Are you sure?" Mercedes asked as she squeezed Quinn's hand.

Quinn gave her a nod. "Yeah. Since having her I never had a group of people that I trusted until now. I've never been away from her for more than a couple of minutes so it'll be hard, but yes she can stay." Quinn kissed Beth's chunky cheeks and ran her hand over her soft thin hair. "I love you, baby girl."

"Say grandma is gonna take real good care of me, right?" Patrice said to Beth. "You girls be safe. Call a Lyft if you have to do not drive home while intoxicated even though you shouldn't be drinking in the first place." Patrice said with a raised eyebrow.

Mercedes nervously bit her lip and cleared her throat. "Okay girls let's go." Mercedes kissed her mom's cheek and then kissed Beth's cheek causing the little girl to giggle loudly.

Kitty worked her magic and got the girls in the club with no issues. Kitty headed towards her favorite table and immediately ordered herself a drink. "You guys want a drink?"

Mercedes looked at Quinn. "What do you want?"

Quinn shrugged. "I'll get whatever you're having."

Mercedes nodded and looked towards the bartender. "We'll have two Cosmopolitan sunsets."

The waitress wrote their orders down and headed off to turn in their orders.

"I'm heading to the ladies room. I'll be back. Don't let some creep roofie my drink."

Mercedes was vibing to the music when a short scrawny white guy with thinning hair approached Quinn. "Do your feet hurt?"

"Oh boy." Mercedes mumbled under her breath as she tried to hold in her laughter.

"No why?"

"Because you've been running through my mind all day."

"Because you've been running through his mind all day." Mercedes mocked as she took a sip of her recently delivered cocktail.

"Do you mind?" The guy asked with an annoyed tone.

"I do actually. The last time that line worked we were probably three. You gotta have a better approach my dude."

The guy mumbled under his breath before walking off.

Mercedes snorted and waived him off.

"Cedes!" Quinn laughed out.

"What? Quinn I literally saw him lick his fingers and run them across his eye brows before he headed over here. You deserve better."

Kitty came back and sat down at their table. "So what did I miss?"

"Mercedes scared that poor guy away." Quinn informed as she pointed to the balding guy trying to talk to another girl at the bar.

Kitty took a sip of her drink and side eyed Mercedes. "Mhmmm. That's a first." Kitty threw her drink back and stood up. "I'm ready to dance. Are you two coming?"

Mercedes finished off her drink and got up. She grabbed Quinn's hand and brought her with her.

Kitty watched as Quinn and Mercedes danced on each other. She couldn't help, but laugh to herself and shake her head. "I thought you were trying to find someone for her, Cedes?"

"I am! I am!" Mercedes shouted over the music as she and Quinn danced on each other.

"Either I'm drunk or every guy in here is unattractive." Quinn said in a giggle as her fourth cosmopolitan kicked in.

"Both. You're drunk and they're unattractive." The two laughed on each other as they stumbled towards the ladies room.

As they waited in line Quinn leaned on Mercedes shoulder.

Mercedes saw a cute slim raven haired woman walk by and the two made contact. Mercedes flashed a smile and the girl turned around and walked back over.

Quinn's head rested on the wall and rolled her eyes as Mercedes and some girl name Santana flirted. She felt like they had been talking for ages. Quinn groaned and lifted her head. "This line is taking forever."

Santana noticed the attitude in her voice and eyed her.

Mercedes caught on as well and stepped in to clear the tension. "It really is." She reached up on her tippy toes to see what the holdup was only to hear a bunch of drunken sorority girls loudly exiting the bathroom.

"I'm heading home now so if you want to come with me then you're more than welcomed." Santana offered so boldly as she wrapped her hands around Mercedes waist. This time she stared at Quinn to see a reaction and she got one.

"Santana that is a very tempting offer, but I'm having a girls night with my best friends tonight. How about a rain check?"

Santana noticed Quinn's smirk so she decided to move in closer. "Absolutely." Santana's hands moved towards Mercedes ample behind and gently squeezed it as she kissed her cheek. She gave Quinn one last dirty look before walking off.

"Thirsty!" Quinn exclaimed as they finally walked into the bathroom.

Mercedes laughed. "Jealous much!" Mercedes teased. "She was absolutely gorgeous and she goes to my college of course I was going to try and flirt with her."

"Well she had an attitude and she didn't have an ass so I say that you should pass."

Mercedes chuckled. "Is that what I should do?"

Quinn nodded.

"Quinn come on." Mercedes laughed again and grabbed her friend's hand so that they could head back towards Kitty and leave.

Kitty finally spotted the drunk pair and threw her hands up.

Mercedes noticed that the same guy that bothered Quinn was now cornering Kitty. She groaned. "What is his deal?"

"Sorry I have to go my friends are here." Kitty informed him as she tried to move past him.

The scrawny creepy guy turned around and groaned. "It's you again? You ruin everything." He whined out as he walked away.

The three giggled, but it was cut short when Kitty hit them on their arms. "What the hell took so long?"

"Mercedes was flirting with some skank with no ass." Quinn replied.

"Oh! Someone sounds jealous." Kitty teased, but she could tell that she actually was jealous by the look on Quinn's face.

"That's what I said!" Mercedes exclaimed. She linked her arm with Kitty and laced her fingers with Quinn as they walked down the block.

"Well does she have an ass?" Kitty asked as they walked into a 7/11.

"She's not without." Mercedes hesitated.

"So blondie was right. How old is she?" Kitty asked as they walked to the chips aisle.

"She's twenty-one. She goes to my college and she works at the Abercrombie and Fitch in the mall, too." Mercedes shared with an unknown amount of excitement in her voice.

Quinn bit her lip and just kept quiet because it was obvious that Mercedes really liked Santana.

"Kitty didn't have to leave." Quinn told Mercedes as she walked out of the bathroom. She adjusted her hair into a bun and sat on the couch with Mercedes.

"Her brother is coming into town tomorrow morning and she has to pick him up. It looks like it's just the two of us tonight." Mercedes pulled her blanket up and opened it up for Quinn. "Are you okay?"

Quinn was confused. "Yeah why?"

"Well this is your first night away from Beth and I figured you'd be thinking about her."

"I'm always thinking about my baby, but oddly I feel comfortable with her being away. I've never had anyone care about her the way your mother does. I know she's a pediatrician and she's always with kids, but I feel like she loves Beth like her own."

Mercedes smiled. "That's because she does. My mom loves Beth. I know it seems sudden, but she knows you and she knows that you have a big heart and she sees how nurturing you are with Beth." Mercedes chuckled. "You should've heard her bragging about how precious Beth is to my brother over the phone. Don't be surprised if she has pictures of Beth on the walls once we go over there."

"Thank you, Mercedes. I can't say it enough, but thank you for everything. I'll pay you back as soon as I get some money."

Mercedes took Quinn's hand in hers and squeezed it. "Quinn I'm doing this as a friend for a friend. I don't want anything in return. I need you to throw that old mentality of yours out of the window. Friends help friends in time of need. You would've done the same for me if the roles were reversed." Mercedes wiped a tear from Quinn's cheek and got closer to her. "That alcohol is making you emotional." She laughed. "Let's see what's on Netflix shall we?"

"Mercedes my brother is getting on my last... nerve." Kitty turned to a whisper as soon as she saw Quinn and Mercedes cuddled up together on the couch. She put her spare key back in her purse and as she was trying to slowly back out of Mercedes apartment her brother came busting through.

"Cedes!"

With his loud outburst Kitty slapped him, he immediately covered his mouth, and Mercedes and Quinn woke up.

Mercedes rubbed her eyes and sat up. "You always know how to make an entrance, huh Ryder?" Mercedes got up and headed over to hug her best friend's brother.

"Cedes I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to wake you two up."

Mercedes shook her head and ruffled her ponytail. "No you're good. Ryder this is Quinn and Quinn this is Kitty's little brother, Ryder."

"Nice to meet you, but if you don't mind I'm gonna go freshen up." Quinn excused herself and exited to the bathroom.

"So how is Atlanta treating you?" Mercedes asked as she sat back on the couch.

Ryder sat right next to her and wrapped his arm around her. "Pretty good. My job is great, my bills are paid, and I just broke up with my ex girlfriend."

"Aww Marley? She was sweet."

"No Marley was his ex ex ex. He broke up with her three months ago. Brittany was his ex girlfriend."

"Wait the blonde?" Mercedes asked.

"No I dumped her two weeks ago. I'm talking about Unique."

"Who?" Mercedes and Kitty both asked as they were both equally confused.

"She was extremely high maintenance, but she was great in bed." He rubbed his chin and reminisced until he heard Mercedes clear her throat. "Enough about me your new girlfriend is hot."

"Who, Quinn? No we're just friends."

Kitty snorted a little louder than she thought. "Sorry."

Mercedes sucked her teeth at her friend and ignored her. "Were just friends."

"Well hook me up. Is she single?" Ryder whispered.

"Yeah Mercedes hook him up." Kitty chimed in as she laughed and drank her coffee.

Mercedes rolled her eyes. "Kitty shut up. As for you Ryder the answer is no."

"What?"

"No. I know how you are with your girlfriends and she doesn't need to be exposed to that kinda lifestyle."

Ryder gasped and grabbed his chest. "I'm hurt by these assumptions."

"They're not assumptions these are facts." Mercedes teased before getting up.

Quinn smiled brightly at Mercedes as they crossed each other in the hallway as Mercedes reached over to tickle her.

Quinn sat on the couch and started turning the channel.

"I'm sorry about this morning. I didn't mean to wake you two. Kitty opened the door and I assumed Mercedes was awake." Ryder apologized.

"It's no problem. I'm used to Beth waking me up so I'm sort of used to it."

"Who is Beth?" Ryder asked curiously.

"My daughter." Quinn replied.

Ryder looked around. "Oh where is she?"

"She's at Mercedes parent's house. They're babysitting this weekend.

"Sweet."

A buzzing went off and Ryder flipped Mercedes phone over once he realized it was her phone ringing. "Mercedes some hottie named Santana is calling! Do you want me to answer it?" Ryder asked loud enough so that Mercedes could hear it in her room.

"No I'm coming!"

Quinn rolled her eyes at the picture that Mercedes used as her contact number.

Mercedes jogged out with her towel wrapped around her body. She grabbed her phone and quickly answered it before it was sent to voice mail. "Hey you." Mercedes answered blissfully as she made a detour to the kitchen.

Quinn mocked her under her breath.

"Uh oh. Quite salty are we?" Kitty whispered to Quinn as she took a seat by her.

Quinn adjusted in her seat. "I am not salty. Mercedes can do whatever she wants."

"Just not with knockers?"

"She has a nasty attitude and I think Mercedes could do better."

"I'm sure you do." Kitty teased. "Ryder let's go. I have to pick up my dry cleaning."

Ryder grabbed an apple on the counter and kissed Mercedes cheek before heading out.

Quinn fiddled with her phone as Mercedes giggled with Santana.

"I can do lunch." Mercedes replied as she headed to her bedroom.

Quinn was busy on her phone when she heard Mercedes' keys jingle. She looked up to her in skinny jean and a crop top and Quinn couldn't help but stare.

"You can come if you want to. I pretty much told Santana that I'm going to invite you anyways. Get dressed!" Mercedes said with excitement as she applied her lipstick.

"I don't want to be a third wheel. I'll be fine. Maybe I'll take a nice long bath and just relax until it's time to pick Beth up."

"Quinn you won't be a third wheel. I'll make sure of it."

"Mercedes it's fine. Go and have fun. I'll be fine here." Quinn reassured.

Mercedes looked at Quinn and sighed. "I can cancel."

"No. No don't do that. Go ahead. I'll be fine. I'm a big girl." Quinn joked.

Mercedes smiled. She gave her a nod and kissed her forehead before heading out.

After taking a bath and painting her toes Quinn was snacking on chips and scrolling through Netflix when she heard keys in the door. She sat up only to be greeted by Kitty and her brother Ryder.

"Cedes told us that you were by yourself so we brought pizza and company. Move over." Kitty commanded.

Ryder noticed a smile on Quinn's face and he thought back to what Mercedes told him about them being just friends. He knew better than that.

"So do you know who this Santana chick is?" Ryder asked as he sat next to her to enjoy a slice of pizza.

"Yeah I met her at the club. She was leaving the ladies room while we were waiting in line. Mercedes really likes her. I'm happy for her." Quinn lied as she took a bite of her food.

"Are you though? Ouch!" Ryder rubbed the back of his head as he side eyed his sister. "What was that for?"

"It was for being an idiot. Shut up and eat your food." Kitty warned.

"I'm telling mom. I hope you know that." He threatened. "Back to what I was saying on a serious note do you like Mercedes?"

"You really are stupid. I thought you were just joking all of these years, but it's official. Quinn you don't have to answer that. Actually just do what I do and act like he's not there." Quinn suggested.

Quinn played with the crust of her pizza and thought to herself. "She's head over heels for Santana. If she's happy then that's all that matters."

"Cedes is not head over heels for rack city. She's sexually frustrated and interested. Those are two completely different things." Kitty watched as Quinn nervously bit her lip. She sighed. "You two have been living together for two months now. You guys do just about everything together plus y'all have built some sort of connection over Beth. It's completely normal."

"How long have you known Mercedes?"

"For about 5 years. We were friends in high school for two years until I erased everyone positive in my life. About two months ago I met up with her. I always had feelings for Mercedes, but it was an innocent kind of crush."

"You should tell her." Ryder shared as he reached for another piece of pizza.

Quinn let out a nervous chuckle and shook her head. "I can't do that. I cannot risk losing anyone else especially not Mercedes. I'll just keep this to myself and I'm hoping you guys will too."

"We will." Kitty replied as she looked at her brother. "We won't say anything because it's none of our business, right Ryder?"

"I'm not a heartless snake. My mouth is shut. I will however help myself to Mercedes ice cream in the freezer."

Mercedes came back to empty pizza boxes, plates, and an empty carton of ice cream on her living room table while three blonds slept on her couch.

Mercedes tiptoed to her room so that she could change her shirt out for a hoodie. Her mom called and told her that she was bringing Beth back to them since it was so late. She quietly collected the trash on the table and began to throw it away.

Quinn was the first to wake up and noticed that Mercedes was back. Quinn looked at her phone for the time. "When did you come back?"

"About ten minutes ago. My mom is on her way with Beth." Mercedes flicked Ryder's ear and woke him up. "Get your nasty ass feet off of my table. My mom is on the way and I need this place cleaned up."

Kitty soon woke up and began helping them out. It wasn't much, but Mercedes wanted to make sure that her mother had nothing to complain about once she got there.

Quinn rushed out of her seat when she heard a knock at the door. "Baby!" She cooed out as her daughter clung to Patricia's hip. "Hi Mr and Mrs Jones. I'll take that." Quinn said as she took her daughter's overnight bag from Mercedes' dad. "Was she any trouble?" Quinn asked as she kissed her baby's face all over.

"This perfect little angel any trouble? Never. She enjoyed her baths and bedtime stories plus we even got her some clothes for the house just in case she stays over again."

"Oh did I not pack enough?" Quinn nervously asked as she searched her daughter's bag.

"No you packed enough, sweetheart."

"She just wants to spoil her." Mr. Jones chimed in.

"I resent that." Patrice whined out childishly.

"We wish we could stay longer, but we both work tomorrow. I'll see you all later. Come on honey." Mr. Jones kissed his daughter, Quinn, Kitty, and Beth all on their cheeks before heading out.

"I have to work tomorrow as well so I will talk to you later. Ryder come on." Kitty kissed the thin hair on Beth's head before heading over to her place.

"And we're back to three. I'm going to shower and change into my pajamas and then I'm going to bed." Mercedes kissed Beth's cheek before heading to her bathroom.

Quinn was grateful to have Ryder there to keep her company while Mercedes was out at work and or school. While he waited for his sister to come home he went across the hall and hung out with Beth and Quinn as well. They'd usually just hang out, eat, and watch television until Mercedes came back from school or work.

"How much longer are you going to be here?" Quinn asked as she handed him a drink.

"Why are you tired of seeing me?" Ryder joked.

"No not at all. I enjoy your company. I'm just trying to figure out what I'm going to do once you leave."

"Well I leave this weekend, but what did you do when I wasn't here? You don't have any other friends?"

"I just waited for Mercedes to come home. Kitty and I just started getting close, but no I don't have any friends. Once I became a rebellious bitch in high school and only hung out with Beth's father I kind of secluded everyone that I knew. Once I got pregnant I became a Black Plague and everything went downhill there. No friends and no family until I found Mercedes."

"Do you think your feelings got stronger because she was the only one to help you in your time of need?" Ryder asked in all honesty.

"You're talking about captain save a hoe syndrome?" Quinn smirked. "I told myself that that's what it was and that I should stop, but it's the way she listens to me no matter what my problems are. She allows me to be angry, but she doesn't let me stay angry. She makes me happy and she's a great person."

"With a great ass." Ryder laughed. "She would pop me in the back of my head if she was here." Ryder drank his soda and sat quietly as he thought to himself. "I hope this isn't a rude question and if it is you don't have to answer it. Have you ever been with a girl and how would you know if you're sexually and mentally attracted to them?"

Quinn's mind was running as she thought about his question. She wasn't one hundred percent sure, but she knew when she had feelings for someone. She knew when she found someone attractive or if she liked them in a platonic kind of way. Maybe she did only have feelings for Mercedes because she was living with her. Maybe her feelings for Mercedes grew because she felt alone and Mercedes was there to comfort her. She did know that Mercedes made her smile and that their cooking sessions were something she could see them doing together in the future. She knew that Mercedes made her feel comfortable again and that she genuinely felt loved by her. Just as Quinn was about to answer Ryder's question Mercedes busted in with an excited grin on her face.

"Guess who is going on a date with Santana this Friday!"

Ryder looked at Quinn and he could tell that she was hurt. He didn't need a verbal answer to his question because the look of hurt was on her face said it all. He knew it was more than a small crush.

"I need to find something to wear, I need to wax, I need new heels! What am I going to do with my hair?"

"Calm down you've got two more days until then. Now in important news did you bring me some cookies?" Ryder asked as he got up from his seat.

"Cedes you won't believe what happened to me at work today." Kitty whined out as she walked into Mercedes' place. "I think I'm going to quit. Where mini you at, she calms me down." Kitty headed over to Beth lying in Quinn's arms and took her so that she could hold her. "My boss is making me shop for the mayonnaise queen." Kitty groaned.

"Yikes! Did you tell her no?" Mercedes asked.

"No! I can't because she said that if I pulled this off then I can finally get my raise and I need his money so bad." Kitty looked at Beth as she held her up. She put on a softer voice and spoke to the baby. "Can you believe he's making me shop for Lena Dunham? I know she's a bad person and she looks like she uses mayonnaise as her body lotion."

"That sucks, but guess who's going on a date with Santana this Friday?" Mercedes gloated as she made her and Quinn a sandwich.

Kitty looked at Quinn and she felt bad for her, but she put on a smile for her happy friend. "Ooooh congratulations. It's been a while since your last date. Are you ready to date again?"

Mercedes sat next to Quinn and handed her a sandwich before she answered Kitty. "I am. I'm somewhat nervous, but it's a good nervous. It's going to be fun."

To Quinn's dismay she tagged along to help Mercedes get ready for her date. Friday was coming faster than she wanted and here they were Thursday afternoon shopping for stilettos for Mercedes to wear on her date.

"Ooh, what about these?" Mercedes asked as she pushed Beth in her stroller.

"Don't you already have some like that?" Kitty asked as she tried on a pair of Mary Janes.

Mercedes lips turned up in confusion.

"The ones you wore when Kurt came to visit and you two went out to dinner. You wore them last year around the same time." Kitty reminded.

Mercedes pointed at her. "You are correct. I'll go put these back."

"Cedes what if I just said that I had a stomach virus and that I didn't want to spread it?" Kitty asked as she continued find an excuse to not dress her boss' celebrity client.

"Didn't she say you'd get fired if you didn't show?" Ryder asked his sister as he ate Beth's baby crackers.

"Which is a form of blackmail might I add." Quinn added.

"She did." Kitty sighed. "Whatever I'll just go through with it and hate myself for the rest of my life."

"I found them!" Mercedes shouted with a box in her hand.

"Good now let's go. I'm hungry and we're out of vanilla crackers." Ryder exclaimed as he shook an empty bag of what once was baby crackers.

Mercedes laughed. "Okay let me buy these and then we can leave."

The day was over, their feet were sore, Beth was sleeping, and Mercedes and Quinn we're hanging out on the bed while wearing face mask. Ryder bought Mercedes a new gallon of ice cream and they were happily enjoying it whilst reminiscing.

"No, but do you remember when Finn auditioned to be a Cheerio?" Quinn brought up. "Coach told me all about his audition and then when Finn tried telling me I couldn't stop laughing. I was in tears. I almost peed on myself."

"Poor thing can't dance." Mercedes laughed. "He tried so hard though." Mercedes sat up and looked at Quinn. "On a different note Beth's first birthday is coming up, are you excited?"

"I am. It's a bittersweet feeling obviously, but the last two months have been so good to us, thanks to you guys, so she finally has something to be grateful for. I need to get a job so that I can actually have a party for her."

"I know you want a job and I know you're looking, but my parents and I will have no problem helping you this year. You and Beth are pretty much stuck to us now." Mercedes smiled. She reached over and hugged her friend and squeezed her tight. "I'm so happy to have my Quinn back. I've missed you so much. I know we weren't considered best friends because we all ran in our own little circles, but I've missed our slumber parties with Kurt after a football game." Mercedes held Quinn's hands and stared into those hazel eyes of hers. Realizing that she had been staring at her for too long Mercedes cleared her throat and looked away.

Once Mercedes got the stamp of approval from Quinn, Kitty, Beth, and Ryder she drove down to meet Santana at a restaurant called Seasons 52. She pulled up to a cozy looking restaurant with an outdoor fire pit and seats for two outside. Since Santana was already there Mercedes went to the hostess and asked where her party was.

" Mercedes!" Santana called from the bar. The slim Latina got up and strutted herself towards her date. "Wow you look absolutely beautiful." Santana hugged Mercedes and took her hand as they were being shown their table.

"Were you waiting long?" Mercedes asked quietly as they sat down. They had seats outside and next to the fire pit.

"Thank you." Santana smiled at their hostess after they were seated and handed menus. They were told that their waiter was coming out soon. "I wasn't waiting long at all, but even if I was you showing up in that dress definitely would've made up for it."

Mercedes blushed. "Thank you. You're looking very sexy in that dress as well."

Ryder sat on the couch as he ate a cookie. He'd eat out of the bag and then hand the bag to Beth for her to stick her little hand in to eat.

Beth would bite the cookie and then offer it back to Ryder to eat.

"Thank you little one." Ryder ruffled her thin hair and got up to grab himself something to drink and a new bottle for her.

"Can you grab me the Doritos please?" Quinn asked Ryder as he was in the kitchen.

"Look Beth sweetie I adore you, you have great style, and you're sweet, but I cannot watch anymore cartoons. Can you please turn?" Kitty pleaded.

Beth stared blankly at her as she gnawed on her cookie.

"Good talk." Kitty sat back and put her hair up in a ponytail. She saw Quinn look at her phone for what seemed the hundredth time that night. She knew that Mercedes was on a date so she didn't know why she was torturing herself by counting down the minutes. "Quinn, stop that."

Quinn put her hands in her lap. "It's just it's a lot harder than I thought it would be. After last night I feel like something changed between the both of us. For selfish reasons I wish she would've called the date off, but then I would've felt bad about being incredibly selfish. I'll stop."

"Oh this was last week when we took Beth to the pool at my parent's house." Mercedes shared as she showed Santana the pictures on her phone.

Santana ate her flatbread and listened as Mercedes told her another story about Beth and Quinn. She was jealous at first because this was supposed to be their date. It started off their date. They were asking how each other were, how their classes and work were, but then as soon as Quinn was brought up it was downhill from there. She didn't and couldn't take offense to it because Mercedes didn't purposely do it. She could tell that Mercedes had feelings for Quinn; however Mercedes wasn't aware of the severity.

"Tell her."

"I'm sorry what?" Mercedes asked genuinely confused.

"Quinn, tell her that you have feelings for her." Santana clarified.

"I'm sorry. I was being rude. This is our date,"

"But your mind is somewhere else. Mercedes it's fine. Sure I was hoping to get some sweet lady kisses out of this, but I can't be with someone when their heart is with someone else. Go home to them. I'll see you around."

"Santana I can't just leave,"

"You can and you will. If you don't leave I'll leave…well after I finish my food. I'll drop off your leftovers tomorrow. Go." Santana advised.

Mercedes took out a twenty and placed it on the table. She kissed Santana's cheek, thanked her, and left.

Kitty was dancing with Beth in her arms while Ryder and Quinn were singing along to Sid the Science Kid when Mercedes came in.

Quinn rushed over to press pause.

"Hey Cedes you're back early. How did it go?" Kitty asked. She noticed that Mercedes eyes were strictly focused on Quinn and only Quinn.

"My date was a disaster. I talked about you and Beth all night apparently. I wasn't even aware of it until Santana was so kind enough to tell me. Quinn I have no clue what these feelings I have for you are, but I know that they're there and that they're strong as hell. Having you back in my life with Beth was a blessing. I was already happy, but I'm my happiest now with you two. I have no clue how you feel about me, but I'm hoping your feelings for me are as strong as mine are for you."

Quinn took a deep breath as she approached Mercedes. She placed her shaking hands on Mercedes face and kissed her. "Mercedes my heart has been closed off since high school. I had nothing and nobody. Once my baby girl was born I said that I would only love her because everyone else that came into my life left me whether it was because of my actions or because I just wasn't enough to keep them. That was until you answered that door two months ago. You didn't just help me, but you helped and accepted my daughter. I will forever be grateful for that. I don't know when my feelings became as pronounced, but I know that I've never felt this way about anyone before. You mean so much to me and my daughter Mercedes."

Mercedes pressed her lips to Quinn's again and she and Quinn couldn't help, but laugh when they heard Beth's little hands clapping.

"You approve of mommy and Cedes? So do we." Kitty said to Beth as she bounced her on her hip.

Five years later.

"Blow out the candles Beth." Quinn encouraged as she took a video of her baby girl.

Beth took a big breath and blew out her candles. She clapped along with everyone else that was surrounding her. "Let's eat!" She didn't even wait for Quinn to cut the cake. She just shoved her little hand in the cake and then stuffed it in her mouth.

"She is so cute. She's messy, but cute. She really is a spitting image of Quinn." Kurt shared as he drank a wine cooler. He came to visit Ohio to celebrate Beth's birthday. He was a little salty at the fact that Quinn named Ryder the Godfather, but he was learning to accept it.

"So Cedes you and Blondie need to clear out your schedule next month because auntie San is coming out west." Santana informed.

"Of course. The spare room is always there for you whenever you need it. Beth was asking about you on the plane ride over. You should see what we did to her room. It's so cute and completely her."

"Is the picture that we took at Christmas last year in her room along with the telescope I bought her?"

"They're right next to each other. The picture is on her desk and her telescope is right next to the desk and by her window."

Santana smiled. "Good."

"Picture time! Moms come and take pictures with the birthday girl." Mrs. Jones called for her daughter and her soon to be daughter in law to take a picture with Beth by the backdrop.

Beth stood on the stool and put both of her arms around Quinn and Mercedes. "Mommies say cheese doodles!" Beth shouted with a big missing toothed smile.

"Aunties are next!" Kitty shouted as she and Santana headed over to take a picture with the birthday girl.

Kurt and Ryder wanted to take pictures with the birthday girl next and then Mr. and Mrs. Jones.

Quinn watched as her daughter was surrounded by love from every corner. Five years ago she and her daughter's world changed for the better. Since then it's gone uphill. She graduated a year after Mercedes with a degree in journalism. The two moved out to Los Angeles earlier that year after Mercedes was signed to Wondaland Records. She was discovered singing on Instagram by Luke James who sent her video to Janelle Monae. Mercedes is now in the studio working on her debut song featuring Jidenna. Quinn ran her own blog. It features everything from interior designs to children to healthy recipes. She was able to work from home which really helped when Mercedes had long days at the studio or had to go out of town. She was still able to be a full time mom once Beth stepped off of the bus and sat at the table to do homework. Who would've known that a knock on the door would change her and her daughter's life? She found the love of her life and a family that loved her and her daughter harder than she could've ever imagined. She felt beyond blessed.

A/N: So how was it? I didn't know where to put it and the story was dragging out, but Kitty never went through with the client. She was fired, but found a better job a week later. Ryder went back home and Kurt came to visit a month later. I really hope you guys enjoyed it. If you did please leave a review and let me know. Until next time. Thank you!
