Waking up for Sirius was weird. And no, not in the you just shagged your friend kind of weird. More of a oh right I killed my parents the other day kind of weird. Shaking his head of his family, Sirius smiled and rolled over looking for Cas.

His smile left soon when his wandering hand found an empty bed, instead of the perky ass of his new girlfriend. Frowning slightly, Sirius got up in search of some coffee, or some whiskey, he wasn't quite sure.

Strolling into Cas' kitchen his hands automatically found the fire whiskey bottle. Smiling, Sirius grabbed the bottle and took a swig.

"Bit early for that isn't it?" Cas said, walking in the front door.

"People actually use their doors still?" Sirius mocked, slowly placing down the bottle.

"Not everyone is a fat lard like you Sirius, I try my best not to apparate all the time. My neighbours are going to think I never leave my house." Cas explained, taking off her sneakers.

"And where were you this morning young lady? I rolled over, expecting a nice hand full of Cas, and you weren't there. Look at more poor hand, so neglected." Sirius pouted, dramatically holding up his limp hand.

"Oh the poor thing. I'm sorry I'm such a horrible friend," Cas smirked, walking past him. "And for your information, I was out for a jog."

"Friend? What is this nonsense. The word you're looking for is boyfriend." Sirius stated, smiling when he saw her flush.

"Oh Merlin, don't say that word please. Especially around Moody." Cas groaned.

"What word Cas?" Sirius smiled innocently.

"You know what word Black." Cas growled, pouring herself a glass of cold water.

"What? Boyfriend? Partner? Lover?" Sirius asked, causing Cas to choke on her drink.

"Why did I agree to this again? I've had too many blows to the head." Cas joked.

"Cas, you cannot say those two words together. You're going to get me all worked up before our meeting." Sirius groaned jokingly.

"What did I say?" Cas asked, putting away the water jug.

Hearing no response, Cas looked up to Sirius' suggestive face.

"Oh bloody hell! You're a pig Sirius!" Cas groaned, finally catching on.

"You know you love it Cas!" Sirius defended as he dodged Cas' half assed slaps.

"Get out you great git! I have to shower before the meeting." Cas ordered laughing.

"Room for two?" Sirius smirked as he got pushed out the door.

"Leave!" Cas laughed, slamming the door.

Laughing Cas, pushed the sneakers away from the door. It was only moments later she heard a knock at the door, smirking she opened it to find Sirius pouting.

"Can I help you?" Cas smiled sweetly.

"Where's my kiss?" Sirius pouted.

"You're such a baby." Cas joked, leaning in to kiss Sirius on the cheek.

Moving his head Sirius caught the kiss on his lips instead. Grinning Sirius bounded down the apartment steps, leaving a bewildered Cas.

"What the bloody hell did I get myself into." Cas muttered, shutting the door.

"So do you think they're dating?" Lily whispered to James.

"Lils, Dumbledore's talking. You think you might want to listen?" James joked quietly.

The meeting took place once again at the Burrow, and after seeing the couple leave last night in a more than friendly embrace the group was wondering what had happened.

"A Marauder respecting his elders when they speak? Merlin see the day." Lily joked, gripping James' leg under the table.

"Get those devil hands away from me Lils, I'm a changed man." James smirked, playfully swatting Lily's wandering hands.

"Oy! Listen up, this parts regarding us!" Remus quipped in, interrupting their flirty banter.

"Sorry Rem." Lily nodded, turning serious at Dumbledore's words.

"Yah sorry Moony, please don't spank me!" James pouted.

"Grow up Prongs!" Remus muttered before going back to the discussion at hand.

"As most of you know, there have been rumours of Voldemort getting more than just witches and wizards on his side. This includes, but is not limited to, giants, trolls, dementers, werewolves and a few have spotted the presence of vampires as well. I will be speaking with a few of you individually about certain missions after the meeting. The next couple months are crucial for us, we need to stick together. I am enforcing everyone in this room to keep what they heard here a secret, and to be as discreetly as possible with the individual mission I have given. There seems to be a leak, and we are all determined to plug it as soon as possible." Dumbledore warned, his eyes full of wisdom as he peered over his half moon spectacles.

"On that cheerful note, I ask the following to stay behind. Sirius, Cassie, Kingsley and Remus." Moody ordered.

"For fuck sakes." Cas muttered, rubbing her hands over her face.

"Rough night Cas?" James suggested, sending Cas and Sirius a "sly" wink.

"Oh eat my d-" Cas started.

"Cassie, did I stutter? Get your pale arse over here!" Moody barked from the kitchen.

Glaring Cas marched out the room, muttering under her breath.

"You know we did!" Sirius confirmed, getting a high five from James.

"That's my boy. They grow up so fast Moony. Just yesterday he was running away from girls, now he is bedding them before he weds them." James fake cried, griping Remus tightly around the shoulders.

"Get off Prongs! I have to get over there before Moody rips my heart out." Remus laughed, shrugging off James' arm.

"Pigs. Don't let Cas hear you say that Sirius, or worse, Moody." Lily warned before walking out into the garden.

"Fuck. I forgot about Moody." Sirius muttered, walking with Remus toward the kitchen.

"How the hell did you manage that? That should've been your first thought Sirius." Remus asked, obviously amused by his friends situation.

"I was a bit busy thinking with my other head Remus, sorry Moody wasn't on my mind!" Sirius declared.

"I'm glad to hear it. You two certainly took your sweet time getting here. Now I'll need to talk to Sirius and Kingsley first, the rest of you wait here." Moody ordered, ushering Sirius and Kingsley into the side office.

"Wonder what that's about." Cas asked curiously, looking for a glass of pumpkin juice.

"I think Molly put it over there," Remus offered, pointing over to a different counter, "And who knows what Sirius is ever talking about."

"Thanks Rem." Cas responded, grabbing a glass for both her and Remus.

"So." Remus smirked.

"Shove it up your ass Lupin." Cas groaned, her face turning a beautiful shade of red.

"That was all the answer I needed." Remus laughed, dodging Cas' hand.

"I didn't say shit and you know it!" Cas argued, trying to swat Remus in the back of the head.

"You didn't have to, you have the post sex glow all over your face." Remus laughed, moving quickly behind the counter, successfully separating himself from Cas.

"Oh yah? And whats it do you Lupin? About damn time I got laid around here!" Cas smirked, trying to reach Remus across the counter.

"And there it is! The one thing that fuels Cassie, sex." Remus smirked.

"That and fire whiskey mate." Cas laughed, raising her glass.

"How silly of me to forget." Remus agreed, raising his cup to Cas'.

"Well a congrats is in order!" Remus smiled, clinking his glass to Cas'.

"Sure hope so." Cas muttered.

"Just be careful Cas." Remus warned, leaning over to hug Cas.

"Well aren't we cozy out here." Sirius' voice broke the two apart.

"Well I'm obviously trying to steal your girl Pads, better watch yourself." Remus joked, grabbing a glass of pumpkin juice for Sirius.

"Going to need something stronger than that mate. And don't worry, after my performance last night I'm not concerned." Sirius winked, causing Cas to choke on her juice.

"Never again." Cas choked out.

"You don't mean it." Sirius pouted.

"Enough! Lupin, Cassie, get in here." Moody called, stopping Sirius mid-pout.

Smirking Cas and Remus walked into Arthur's side office. It had been a long time since she had been in this room. The room still looked the same since she cornered Dumbledore about his intentions. Smiling at the memory, Cas moved on to the chair in the corner. Plopping herself down, Cas turned her attention to Remus. She could feel his intensity growing strongly now. Cas had picked up on it since the moment the word 'werewolf' had left Dumbledore's mouth.

Cas' curiosity was at its peak now, wondering what sort of independent mission she would be given. Whatever it was she knew Remus was dreading it. She could feel it seeping out of his every pore. She wasn't sure if the guys caught onto it, they usually were more obvious about it if they had. But these were tough times, no one really needed a huge excuse to be stressed or tense. She knew this was a touchy subject for Remus, how could it not be. The thing he hated the most about himself was being harnessed by the other side and used against him. That couldn't be easy, she wasn't that naive.

Sighing, Cas reached out and squeezed Remus' arm, trying to give off as much support as she could with the small gesture. Remus looked up surprised, his eyes dancing with his shock. But after a moment he nodded and gave her a half smile.

A thank you.

"You want us to do what?" Cas exclaimed, getting up from her chair and pacing.

"Did I stutter Cas?" Moody snapped, folding up the papers in front of him and putting it in his breast pocket.

"No, I heard you. I was just giving you a chance to realize how idiotic you sounded and change your answer. Do you know what this means?" Cas demanded, her hands on either side of the Weasley's desk.

"You don't think I've thought of every possible outcome Cassie? You think I like sending you off to a group of werewolves? It's Dumbledore's orders, and as much as I don't like them they make too much sense to ignore. You're the one with the experience being undercover for long periods of time, you're the one who know the pureblood type and how to persuade them. It is only logical to send you off with Remus." Moody yelled, his emotion flared in his face.

At this, Cas sat down, her head in her hands. Breathing, she began to compose herself.

"Remus, I obviously do not have to explain to you why you are needed." Moody concluded.

"Of course not sir. I know it takes scum like me to understand scum like them." Remus muttered darkly, his shoulders sagging.

"You take that back Lupin, or I swear to Merlin!" Cas snapped, her eyes boring into his.

"Those witches and wizards are not evil because of the werewolf inside them, that darkness was in them far before they were turned. The werewolf doesn't make a bad person bad, the bad person makes themselves bad by their choices. You're not like them. We only have to pretend like you are. It is fake, you are different. You're good. So so good." Cas stated, grabbing Remus' arm.

"I will talk more with you both later. Dumbledore's still finalizing the plans." Moody muttered, clearly uncomfortable.

"I'll stop by later Moody." Cas nodded, sending him a reassuring smile as he left.

"How do you know." Remus mumbled after a moment of silence.

"Know what? That you're good?" Cas asked.

It took a while but slowly Remus' head nodded. Getting to her knees, Cas sat in front of Remus. Pressing her hand to his chest, Cas caught his eye.

"Because I know what is in here Remus. I know you have a gentle soul, and a kind heart. That's what makes you good. You're here with the Order to do good. To prove all those assholes wrong about werewolves. You're good, Remus. Please believe that." Cas muttered, her hands shaking slightly on his chest.

Shaking Remus nodded, silent tears falling down his face. Roughly he pulled Cas in for a hug.

"Thank you." Remus muttered into her neck.

"Anytime mate. Now lets shake this off and go get something very very bad for us to drink." Cas smirked, pulling away.

"You know you can't tell him right." Remus muttered as Cas turned away.

"I know. Moody said no one but us and Dumbledore, I didn't forget." Cas sighed, running her hands through her hair.

"You know he will be upset." Remus reminded her, standing to place a hand on her shoulder.

"Oh I know Rem, I know." Cas responded, her stomach full of dread.

'Now how to tell him without telling him is the next step' Cas thought to herself, 'And also the hardest.'

Sighing Cas and Remus left to join their friends in the garden, it would be a couple more weeks until they had to leave. Until then, they planned on enjoying themselves as much as possible.
