Cas woke with a start.

'It was just a dream, it was just a dream' Cas repeated over and over in her head. 'They're dead, you killed them, they can't hurt you'

Sighing, Cas wiped her face gently, removing the thin layer of sweat that had started to build. It had only been last week that Sirius and Cas took down her parents killers. Turning out to be Sirius' parents, Cas expected that her and Sirius wouldn't make it.

Looking around, Cas noticed the sleeping form beside her.

Smiling slightly, Cas cuddled up to Sirius, running her hands up and down his arms until he started to move. Who would've thought Cas would be not only lying in bed beside Sirius Black, but currently dating him? Things have changed.

Drifting her hand slowly down his thigh, Sirius started to moan.

'Mmm.. James? Is that you?" Sirius joked, his voice scruffy from sleep.

"Would James do this?" Cas asked, cupping Sirius slightly causing him to jump.

"I sure as hell hope not!" Sirius exclaimed turning around and kissing Cas hard.

"Now, now Sirius. We have a meeting this morning, none of your sinful funny business." Cas joked, flicking away Sirius' wandering hand.

"You don't mean it." Sirius pouted, looking at the hand Cas had flicked away.

"You say sorry! This hand has gotten me through some dry spells Morris, I do not take kindly to this abuse!" Sirius pouted, shaking his hand close to Cas' face.

"Gotten you through some dry spells? When has the infamous Sirius Black ever encountered a dry spell. I refuse to pity you. I had one for 2 years!" Cas laughed, swatting away Sirius' limp hand and getting up from his bed.

"Don't be jealous Morris, it doesn't suit you." Sirius quipped, getting up enough to tackle Cas back onto the bed.

"Me? Jealous? You've got to get your head checked, you're being delusional." Cas laughed, loving the feeling of Sirius' body pressed against her.

"You're not? That's too bad, I was going to say I was kind of into it. " Sirius suggested, running a hand from Cas' collarbone down the side of her breast.

"What a weird thing to be into." Cas joked weakly before meeting Sirius' mouth with hers, pulling him closer to her.

Sirius broke away with his bark like laughter, before attacking her neck.

Needless to say, they didn't make it to the meeting on time.

"Thank you for finally joining us Miss. Morris, Mr. Black." Dumbledore nodded, smiling softly as the two clambered into the Burrows crowded kitchen.

"Sorry mate, duty called." Sirius laughed, before meeting Moody's eyes and choking slightly.

"If you two are finished?" Moody snapped, his face a bright scarlet.

"Sorry." Cas and Sirius muttered, plopping down in their seats at once.

Grown adult or not, when Moody snapped you obeyed.

"As I was saying, we have some things to be proud about this week. Kingsley would you care to elaborate?" Dumbledore asked, sitting quietly in his seat.

"Thank you Dumbledore. As mentioned, we have had a small victory this week. If you all haven't noticed we have recruited more members this past week, specifically ministry members. As noted previously, we need all the ministry members we can get. Not knowing what is happening at the ministry is a huge blind spot in the Order. Welcome all new members." Kingsley's deep voice concluded, before the order clapped.

Looking around Cas noticed Kris was at the table, sitting out of place beside Marlene. Smiling brightly Cas did a half wave to Kris, catching his eye as he looked around the room awkwardly.

Raising his mug to Cas, Kris winked before gesturing to Marlene, as if to say 'look what I caught'. Trying to express the same level of enthusiasm back, Cas grinned forcefully. What he saw in her she would never know.

Cas sighed, looking around for more unfamiliar faces. There were a couple she noticed as previous Hogwarts students, but the rest she was unsure of.

"You look like you're constipated." Sirius muttered quietly, referring to the glares Cas was giving to the new members.

"Stuff it Black. I don't trust as easy as you." Cas snapped, instantly regretting it. Seeing Marlene set her on edge.

"Cool it Morris, we need all the help we can get. You know they wouldn't be here if Dumbledore didn't vent them first." Sirius said confidently, accepting pumpkin juice from Molly.

"Thanks Molls."

Cas continued to sit stiffly, remembering Regulas' words 'there is a spy amongst your order'. Cas sighed, tired of not knowing who to trust. Looking around, Cas tried to notice any one on edge, other than herself.

'It would be so much easier if they just wore a damn sign that stated 'I'm a death eater in disguise, don't trust me!' Cas thought, sipping on her pumpkin juice.

Cas met eyes with a very nervous looking Peter, raising her eye brow Peter squeaked and looked away.

'What the hell was that about?' Cas wondered, continuing to stare at Peter. He did look really thin, now that she thought about it.

'That is all for now, remember the missions you were given. I'll stay after the meeting to answer any questions you may have." Dumbledore concluded, giving Peter an extra long stare confirming Cas' belief that something wasn't quite right.

With that, everyone began to get up at once. Cas jumped up, trying to reach Peter before he left, only to have Sirius sling an arm around her shoulder.

"Move it Black!" Cas joked, looking around Sirius just to see Peter leave the Burrow.

"Great! I missed Peter thanks to your fat arse." Cas smiled, turning back to a pouting Sirius.

"Yeah, Peter. Go ahead Morris, go catch up to your lover." Sirius smirked, gesturing toward the now closed door.

"Don't be jealous Sirius, especially not of Peter" Cas joked, nudging Sirius slightly with her hip.

"Me? Jealous of Peter? Yeah, okay Morris. Not in this life time." Sirius gave his bark laughter, swinging his arm back on Cas' shoulders.

"Don't be cruel Sirius. Did you see how thin he was? I don't think he's taking everything okay. Has he mentioned anything to you?" Cas asked, concerned for their friend's wellbeing.

"Who Wormtail?" James asked, sliding up beside the pair.

"Ye- Wait, that's it! What is with your stupid nicknames!" Cas snapped, wondering why she had never asked before now.

"A tale for another time. Now onto our Peter business, I heard his mom isn't doing too well right now." James continued, pretending Cas had never asked about the nicknames.

"I'll tell you later Cas." Lily winked, walking into this conversation.

"You will not!" Sirius barked, swatting away at Lily's presence. "If anyone is telling her, I am!"

"I really don't care who the fuck tells me, but someone better start talking." Cas smiled, staring at the pair of boys who were currently having a stare off.

"Later." Sirius said after nodding at his and James' unspoken conversation.

"God you guys are insane." Cas muttered before walking over to Moody.

"Oy! Moody. A word?" Cas asked, clapping a hand on her Godfather's shoulder.

"After that entrance lass, I can't really look at you." Moody stated gruffly, but still followed her into the other room.

"Er- yeah, sorry about that. Anyways, that is obviously not what I wanted to talk about. It's about the mission." Cas stated awkwardly, trying to move as far as possible from the 'I'm dating Sirius womanizer Black' talk.

"Thank Merlin, something I can talk about. What is it? Not getting cold feet are we?" Moody smirked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Do you know who you're talking to?" Cas scoffed, mocking Moody by crossing her arms. "I just wanted to know what identity we are being given, I want to practice before we go."

"Calm down Cassie, I was only teasing. But yes, disguises will be a necessity. Dumbledore has informed me of your location, a dive bar that is a constant visit by werewolves and dark creatures alike. Remus can be just another werewolf, but we need to make sure your back is covered." Moody muttered quietly, his magical eye focused on the door way.

"Is there any positions open at the bar? I could be a worker there, that way they won't wonder why I'm there so much." Cas concluded, thinking out loud.

"That could work actually. I'll have a word with Dumbledore and see what he can manage. As for disguises, try and make yourself as different as possible. Try a different facial structure and hair colour, I know you can handle it." Moody concluded, clapping Cas roughly on the shoulder before standing up.

"Great, I've always wanted to be blonde." Cas muttered sarcastically, following behind Moody.

"That's the spirit lass!" Moody laughed, ruffing her hair as she passed.

Frowning, Cas walked over to where her friends were sitting and discussing something very loudly. Sitting beside Remus, Cas looked at her friends. The only one who noticed she was back was Remus, the rest were as clueless as possible, still debating which Wicked Sister was the most talented. Watching Sirius' face, Cas wondered how she was going to tell him she was leaving. Either way she framed it, he wouldn't be happy.

Sighing, Cas rubbed her face, feeling someone's eyes on her. Looking up, she found Remus looking at her with a sad smile, as if he knew exactly what she was thinking. It was then that she realized he would be doing the same thing with Dorcas. At least she wasn't the only bad guy.

Little did she know, Sirius was having the same internal debate, after all he was given a mission as well.

"All I'm saying, is you would look unreal in heels Rem. Honestly! No, listen, Rem- listen to me. If worse came to worse and you were made a girl, I think you could pull it off!" James slurred, knocking his glass of fire whiskey off the table.

"Oy watch yourself Potter!" Lily snapped playfully, cleaning up his mess with a flick of her wand.

"Lilypad, where would I be without you." James faked swooned, collapsing dramatically into Lily's lap.

"Dead in a ditch somewhere." Lily replied confidently, making everyone laugh.

"Oy! Don't, don't you, no laughing! Don't encourage her!" James yelled, trying to cover Lily's mouth.

"What the hell is going on here?" Sirius asked, shaking the rain off his leather jacket.

"PADS! Oh thank Merlin, you're here! They're being mean!" James complained, swinging back his whiskey.

"I'm sure they're Prongs, whatever you say." Sirius laughed, sitting roughly beside Remus.

"Where's your girl?" Remus asked, clapping Sirius' outstretched hand.

"Yeah Pads, wheres Cas? Did duty call again?" James joked, referring to the Moody mishap earlier.

"Fucking hell." Sirius muttered, accepting a butter beer from Marlene.

"You better watch yourself Sirius, Moody will hate you even more once he realizes you two are serious." Lily smirked.

"I hope he never finds out." Sirius agreed, taking a large swig of his drink, and then another, and then one more.

"I'm sure he will catch on, he's not you Sirius." Marlene smirked.

"What does that mean?" Sirius asked, sitting up offended.

Remus laughed, pulling him back down.

"She means, Moody isn't daft." Remus explained, shaking his head at his friends.

"Well obviously he isn't. I feel like his eye can see right into my soul." Sirius shuddered.

"OY! I AM NOT DAFT!" Sirius yelled a moment later, finally catching on.

"Sure Pads, whatever you say!" Marlene laughed, placing a record on the record player, filling the room with music.

"Want to play chess Remus?" Lily asked, gesturing to her chess board in the corner.

"No chess allowed, is this a party or not?" Sirius demanded, pushing Remus back into his seat.

"I don't know? Is it?" Lily asked, looking around at everyone.

Everyone glanced at each other unsure, they hadn't planned it that way but it seemed to be happening.

"Let's bloody well do it! I'm already loaded! Come join me friends!" James exclaimed from the floor.

"Owl Dor, Frank and Alice!" Marlene demanded, grabbing more drinks from the kitchen.

"And Cas too!" Sirius added.

"Sure, Cas too." Marlene said, rolling her eyes.

"On it!" Lily squealed excitedly, running to fetch her owl.

"C'mon mate, get up off the floor. Why are you on the ground?" Remus asked, pulling up James.

"I had a great view up Lily's skirt that I was not giving up!" James laughed, earning a clap on the back from Sirius.

"So mate, how are you and Morris?" James asked, brushing invisible dirt off his sweater, after all it was Lily's flat.

"So far so good!" Sirius smiled, clanking his butter beer with the guys' glasses.

"What about Marls?" Remus asked, sipping on his drink.

"What about her?" Sirius asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Well, you two were together for so long. Cas is your first serious girlfriend since her." Remus explained logically.

"Whoa whoa whoa, whats with all this serious talk. We have been only together for a like week!" Sirius exclaimed, his neck getting red and itchy.

"We both know you two have liked each other long before that!" Remus stated, giving Sirius his 'not taking your shit' look.

"Well, yes. But when you label it serious, I get all itchy mate. Don't jinx me, I actually like this bird." Sirius smiled slightly, causing James to fake swoon.

"My baby boy has gone off and fallen in love!" James proclaimed, gripping Sirius in a tight hug.

"I always knew you two had something going on." Cas said, leaning on the door way.

"Cassie-mo!" James yelled, grabbing Cas by the shoulders and pulling her close against his chest. "So precious, too precious for this world."

"James, get off! Wait, are you bloody drunk?" Cas exclaimed shocked, it was after all only two in the afternoon.

"It's five o'clock somewhere lass!" James smirked, dodging Cas' hand.

"Bloody hell, do you have cat like reflexes when you're intoxicated?" Cas laughed, putting her hands on her hips.

"Don't mess with Prongs. I will get you when you least expect it." James stated seriously before bouncing off to find Lily.

"There he goes with Prongs again! What the hell do the nicknames mean!" Cas cried, gesturing to where James had just been.

"Oy! Cas!" James called from across the room as Cas accepted a drink from Remus.

"Wha- oh my god, why is there a deer in the living room?" Cas yelled, pointing where James had once been standing, choking slightly on the sip she had just taken.

Before her eyes the deer transformed back into James, making Cas feel faint.

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?" Cas yelled, shaking off her shock of seeing her friend turn into a deer.

Cas raced over and grabbed James by the shoulders.

"Are you honestly telling me you can transform into a bloody deer?" Cas exclaimed.

"Oy! I'm a stag!" James declared proudly, striking a pose.

"That is so wicked! Wait, does that mean you're an animagus?" Cas asked, bouncing in excitement.

"You bet we are!" Sirius stated proudly, joining James in his posing.

"Wicked! For ho- wait 'we'?" Cas stuttered, realizing what Sirius had said.

"Yes we! Myself, James and Peter." Sirius smirked, his cockiness increasing with every sip of butter beer.

"You?" Cas asked doubtfully, causing Sirius to pout.

"Yes me, how is that hard to believe?" Sirius asked, moping.

"Sorry, just a lot to take in. What are you?" Cas asked, excitement returning.

"Guess." Sirius demand cheekily, causing Remus to groan.

"Bloody hell. Sirius is a dog, James is a stag and Peter is a rat." Remus stated, his tone faking boredom.

"Oy! You took away my grand reveal." Sirius yelled, smacking Remus in the back of the head.

"A dog? It all makes sense, that stupid dog statue you gave me! No wonder you kept laughing. Let's see it then!" Cas demanded, taking a large gulp up her drink.

"Oy! Lils, you have anything stronger?" Cas asked, setting her empty drink down.

"Fire whiskey?" Lily called from the kitchen.

"It will have to do." Cas yelled, before turning back to a waiting Sirius.

"Really? You took a drink break? After finding out your super hot boyfriend can turn into a bloody animal?" Sirius stated, recrossing his arms.

"Well, I already knew that now didn't I." Cas winked, touching Sirius' chest slightly.

The boys groaned.

"Enough! Just do it already Sirius." Remus muttered, his face and neck a bright red. Cas raised an eyebrow to him, an eyebrow he ignored.

"Ready love. Behold!" Sirius stated dramatically before turning into a shaggy black dog.

"This is so wicked!" Cas exclaimed as James joined Sirius in his animal form.

"For how long?" Cas asked, looking at Remus for the answer since the two animals were messing around.

"Since Hogwarts, they found out in our fourth year about me and demanded to help. Not like I asked for any help, but you know these guys. They don't really take your opinion into account when it comes to your happiness." Remus joked, pointing to the two animals rolling around on the floor.

"Whoa. Who would've known." Cas muttered, thinking back on how immature the guys were at Hogwarts.

"Surprises you sometimes right?" Remus asked, reading her mind for the second time that day.

"He's full of surprises isn't he." Cas added, watching Sirius with a smile.

"He's full of something." Remus muttered before taking a swig of his drink.

xx

"What are you stressing about?" Lily asked, plopping beside Cas on the couch.

"What makes you think I'm stressing?" Cas asked, taking a sip of her drink.

"The fact that you're on your second bottle of fire whiskey?" Lily stated, taking away the bottle near Cas' foot.

"Third actually, but whose counting." Cas muttered, watching Sirius and Marlene talk across the room. Her nose scrunched up as she watched Marlene place a hand on Sirius' arm.

"Don't do that, you look stupid." Lily commented, swatting gently at Cas' nose.

"Rude Evans, way to kick a girl while she's down." Cas joked, taking the bottle back from Lily's hands and taking a sip.

"Don't be jealous of Marls and Sirius, there isn't anything but dysfunction there. They both knew they didn't fit quite right with each other back then, and they know that now. Besides, Sirius has you and Marls has Kris." Lily noted, her voice slurring slightly.

"Evans! Are you drunk?" Cas asked, avoiding the topic of Marlene and Sirius.

"I am tipsy Cas, there is a difference. A difference you clearly have never felt." Lily quipped, smiling warmly.

"He's avoiding me." Cas stated gesturing towards Sirius with her bottle, ignoring Lily's comment.

"What makes you say that." Lily asked, glaring at Sirius for the sake of Cas.

"Earlier he was all over me. Now he's different." Cas admitted, wiping a sweaty hand on her jeans.

"Don't worry about it. Black is a moody baby sometimes, just have fun tonight okay?" Lily slurred slightly, taking Cas' bottle and walking away to go dance with James.

"Oy! How is that suppose to happen without that bottle?" Cas shouted after her before sighing and getting up.

Lily was right, who cares if Sirius wasn't paying attention to her? Who the hell was she? Letting a stupid guy upset her like this. Cas sighed again, wishing he wasn't being like this. She only had a couple more weeks before she left, she didn't want to spend it like this. She wanted to spend it, well, she wanted to spend it doing, doing other stuff.

Cas blushed at the thought, walking in the kitchen for another butter beer. Picking up two, just to be safe, Cas popped the tops off and wandered off to Lily's balcony. Setting a bottle on the railing, Cas took a swig of the other, watching over a sleeping London.

Finishing the first bottle, Cas picked up the second, hearing Sirius' bark laughter from inside. Scowling slightly to herself, Cas shook her head.

'You're being pathetic' Cas thought, ruffling her hair.

Deciding to go back inside, Cas took a long breath of fresh air before turning around to face the party. Instead she got a face full of Dorcas.

"Oh sorry! Oh hey Cas!" Dorcas blurted, running into Cas as she tried to slip onto the balcony.

"No worries Dor." Cas smirked, going to side step her before Dorcas' hand stopped her.

"Everything okay mate?" Dorcas asked bluntly, her eyes searching Cas'.

"Been better, I think I might leave." Cas admitted, looking around the room to see where Sirius was.

"Fuck that! You're going to come do some shots and dance this shit off!" Dorcas declared, making Cas laugh.

"There's no point in trying to say no, is there?" Cas asked, shaking her head at the small woman in front of her.

"Like hell." Dorcas smiled, dragging Cas into the kitchen by her arm.

"Okay! What is your poison?" Dorcas asked, looking around at Lily's supply of alcohol.

"Anything." Cas smirked, accepting a glass from Dorcas.

"Knew there was a reason why I liked you." Dorcas winked.

xx

"You're avoiding her." Remus chimed, sliding in beside Sirius and James.

"Who?" Sirius asked, not making eye contact.

"Who? Your bloody girlfriend." Remus exclaimed, pointing at a drunk Cas dancing with a very drunk Dorcas.

"I am not avoiding Cas." Sirius stated firmly, smirking at Cas' terrible dance moves.

"You're too!" James chimed in, throwing a rough arm around Sirius.

"You're full of shit mate." Sirius laughed, trying to shrug James' arm off.

"You've been too busy distracting yourself with Mckinnon, really mate, Mckinnon? Been there, cows a nightmare!" James slurred dramatically, causing Remus to laugh.

"Remember Marlene? She's your friend, not a cow." Remus reminded, placing a hand on James' shoulder.

"Not when I'm trying to make a point to this idiot." James smiled, gesturing toward Sirius.

"Okay, lets get some things straight. I am not avoiding Cas, Marls is not a cow, James you're a cow for saying that and I am not an idiot!" Sirius concluded, looking very proud of himself.

"Well you're acting like one. You worked this hard to get her, and now you're avoiding her? Makes no sense mate, are you getting cold feet?" Remus asked seriously, cutting through Sirius' bull shit.

"Not at all mate, I'm crazy about the bird. It's just, well, Dumbledore told me not to tell anyone, but you guys don't count, I'm hoping anyways. I got a mission is what I'm trying to say, and I have to go away for a bit. I can't tell her, I don't know how to tell her. She's going to lose it." Sirius finally admitted, taking a shot of fire whiskey.

"You're an idiot. This is Cas we are talking about, the girl who gave up her education and identity to go on missions against You Know Who. If anyone was to understand the best it would be her!" Remus exclaimed, not wanting to mention his and Cas' mission to Sirius, he knew he wouldn't like the idea of Cas and Remus being off on their own.

"Bloody hell, I guess you're right. I just don't know how to say it." Sirius said wincing slightly at the idea.

"Just blurt it out in good ol' Sirius fashion." James smirked, pushing Sirius told his dancing girl friend.

"Oy! Cut that out, we are not in fourth year anymore!" Sirius demanded, trying to get away from James' pushing hands.

"Go get her before she convinces herself she's made a huge mistake." Remus smiled, knowing his friend's thought process way too well.

"Oy, thanks mates. I can't always tell when I'm being thick." Sirius smirked, ruffling his hair before going up to Cas.

"He really is thick sometimes you know?" Remus noted, clanking drinks with James.

"That's why we keep him around, he makes us look good constantly." James replied laughing.

"You're not wrong there." Remus joined in, throwing his arm over James' shoulder.

xx

"Well, well, well! What have we here. A wanker with an apology! Too late Black, Morris here has moved on! She's decided she fancies someone with a womanly figure." Dorcas declared the moment she saw Sirius walking up.

"That'll do Dorcas, let me see my girl." Sirius laughed, swatting away a dancing Dorcas.

"It's okay Dor, thanks for cheering me up." Cas smiled, hugging a very drunk Dorcas.

"You know where to find me if he fucks up again, I'll always wait for you Morris." Dorcas winked, slapping Cas firmly on the behind.

"Dorcas!" Cas spluttered, grabbing her butt.

"There's more where that came from love!" Dorcas yelled over her shoulder, walking over to a laughing Remus.

"What a broad." Sirius muttered, turning to face Cas.

"So nice of you to join us." Cas smirked, forgetting her anger and grabbing Sirius' arms and forcing him to dance with her.

"Babe, listen. Sirius Black does not dance." Sirius joked, trying to catch up with his girlfriends crazed dancing.

"Tonight he does." Cas nodded, making Sirius spin.

"If that's what the lass requests." Sirius laughed, dipping Cas into a low dip.

"Ah Sirius! I'm not that coordinated." Cas laughed, tripping slightly on Sirius' feet.

"No Cas, that's from all the shots you did with Dorcas in the kitchen." Sirius reminded, referencing Cas' "fun" with Dorcas earlier.

"So a gentlemen admits he has been watching." Cas smirked, pushing Sirius slightly.

"You know you can't let a broad know you're watching her, she will get too cocky." Sirius winked, pulling Cas close, their dancing forgotten.

"You're a right prick sometimes you know that?" Cas muttered, resting her head on Sirius' shoulder.

"I know Cas. I just couldn't face you tonight." Sirius admitted, pulling back slightly to look into Cas' eyes.

"You can face me now though?" Cas questioned, her tone coming out harsher than she wanted.

"I've been struggling keeping something from you. Something, well er- unpleasant." Sirius choked out finally.

Cas sighed, pulling Sirius across the room by his hand. Sitting roughly on Lily's sofa, Cas pulled Sirius down with her, draping her legs over his.

"Me too. Hence the shots." Cas admitted, entwining her hand with Sirius'.

"I kn- wait what? You've been hiding something too?" Sirius asked, moving closer so know one could over hear their conversation.

"For weeks actually. It was, as you put it, unpleasant to think about, so I thought I could avoid it and deal with it later. Well, later is now." Cas muttered, twisting their hands nervously.

"Well let's just blurt it the graceful way then." Sirius smiled, making Cas meet his eyes.

"Fine. You're not going to like it though." Cas swallowed, looking for reassurance in Sirius' eyes.

"On the count of three then, rip it off like a bandaid." Sirius nodded, his face paling.

Cad nodded, closing her eyes.

"One, two, three." Sirius whispered.

"I have to leave" They both whispered, making Cas' eyes snap open.

"You're leaving? Where? When? With who?" Cas blurted out, her head spinning.

"I have a mission from Dumbledore, what about you?" Sirius asked, his eyes wide.

"Same. I'll be gone a couple months." Cas admitted awkwardly, running a shaky hand through her hair.

"A couple months? What kind of mission is that? Mine is a couple weeks, not sure the details yet. They've been really private about everything, something about a suspected spy." Sirius muttered quickly, looking around to see who was trying to listen in.

"I don't have details yet either, but same conditions, I'm not allowed to tell anyone specifics. Even, well, even you Sirius." Cas stated, looking down at their hands tangled in her lap.

"Merlin, this blows. I'm not even allowed to tell you or even James for that matter. Does Dumbledore really think it is one of us?" Sirius asked, looking around the room at his loved ones.

"War does crazy things to a person. You wouldn't believe the amount of back stabbing I've witnessed being undercover in the past." Cas admitted, following his gaze.

"What are we going to do?" Sirius asked abruptly, his eyes widening.

"What do you mean?" Cas asked, pulling her hands back slightly.

"I don't know about you, but I want to stay together." Sirius whispered, pulling her hands back.

"I didn't know that was a thing being debated?" Cas asked, her eyebrows raising at the thought.

"I figured that would be what you wanted." Sirius stated, his eyes on the carpet.

"Why would you ever think that?" Cas asked softly, leaning in to meet Sirius' eyes.

"I don't know Cassie, you just seem like the type of girl who would want to just focus on the mission." Sirius admitted awkwardly.

"Well I obviously want to focus on the mission, doesn't mean I can't focus on you too. We can make it work Sirius, it's only a couple months." Cas stated firmly.

"Only a couple months." Sirius stated out loud like he was trying the words out.

"Only a couple months." Cas repeated, moving her head closer to his.

"We can make it work." Sirius stated, placing his hand on Cas' cheek.

"We will make it work." Cas corrected before crashing her lips against his.
