"Is your appointment with Doctor Clarkson tomorrow, Cora?" questioned Robert.

" My appointment is for July 5th." replied Cora.

"So it is in two days, good." said Robert.

" Do you have something to do tommorow?" questioned Cora.

" I am meeting Murray to discuss the village. A letter from America came for you. One came for me as well." replied Robert.

" It is from Mother. She says That she and James Carrey will be arriving on Independace Day." said Cora.

" You best read mine for yourself. I'll leave it in my dressing room.I must go see Mama." replied Robert.

"Okay Goodbye, Darling." said Cora as Robert left through his dressing room.

As Robert left for the dower house Cora slipped into his dressing room and picked up the letter from her mother to Robert and began to read it.

Dear Robert,

Do not show this letter to Cora. James and myself will be arriving on July fourth. He is the Lord of Kerry in Ireland. I did not tell Cora that James is a Lord. I will tell her when I get to Downton. I hope to be at Downton until the baby's is that five months away? Give my regards to your mother.

sincerely,

Mother Levinson

After Cora had read the letter she decided she must warn the others, but first she must nap. So Cora drifted off and that is where Robert would find her upon his return.

meanwhile at the Dower house

"Hello, Mama." said Robert.

"Hello, Robert. said a confused Violet Crawley.

" What is it, Mama? Are you ill?" questioned Robert very hastitly.

" No, nothing of that sort. I have recieved a letter from your mother in law." replied Violet.

"What?" questioned Robert.

"Yes she said she is coming to visit and has a big surprize with her. Why is she coming back? She just left." said a confused Violet.

" Well don't tell her I told you, but the big surprize is James Carrey, the Lord of Kerry, her husband. She says to give you her regards, but I can see she already has." replied Robert.

" She got married? Oh dear what that woman does!" said Violet.

" Would you like your tea now, Mama?" asked Robert.

" Yes, Robert, please ring for Spratt."

Robert rang for Spratt and enjoyed tea with his mother.

meanwhile in the servant's hall

"Daisy, Would you be interested in going to the village carnival with me?" asked a hopeful William

"Of course I will, William!" said Daisy.

William smiled and turned to take the tea to the drawing room.

" Well I see you got over your infatuation of Thomas." smirked Mrs. Patmore

" I was never infatuated with Thomas." said Daisy.

" If you say so. Please take this outside." said Mrs. Patmore.

" Yes, Mrs. Patmore" said Daisy. As she was walking outside she heard people talking.

" Can you believe Daisy is going to the carnival with William." said Thomas bitterly.

" I think she would go with anyone who would ask her." said O'Brien.

At that Daisy decided to make her presence known.

" Oh would I Ms. O'Brien? I can assure you I wouldn't!" said a very angry Daisy as she spilled the dirty dishwater right next to O'Brien and Barrow.

With that she stormed in side right into William.

" Daisy, what's wrong?" asked a concerned William.

"Oh it's just O'Brien and Thomas." said Daisy.

" What did they do?" said a now very serious William.

" Oh they were just making fun." said Daisy.

" Let's show them fun." said William as he grabbed a bucked of water."

Daisy smiled and followed William as he went outside to show the first footman and lady's maid fun.
