A Few Weeks Later...
"My Lady, a telegram has arrived for you." said Mr. Carson as Edith entered the house.
"Thank you, Carson." Edith replied as she took the telegram and entered the drawing room. As she entered she read the Telegram.

Gregory Stone
"What is it Edith? Is it about Gregson's trial?" questioned Mary.
Edith Jumped.
" Oh I didn't mean to startle you." Said Mary apologetically.
" It's fine, Mary I thought I was alone. No, it is from Michael's Lawyer. He says I'm needed in London as soon as possible." Edith replied.
" Why would Gregson's Lawyer want to see you?" Questioned Mary in a somewhat shocked tone.
" He says it is about the will. I best head for London in the morning." Edith replied
"Why now, he's been dead for nearly three weeks ." Mary stated.
"I guess I will find out when I get there." Contemplated Edith.
As Branson was working on the car he heard the clicking of heels. At this sound he quickly got out from under the car. When he got up he got up he say that it was Lady Sybil.
"Ah, Lady Sybil, how may I be of assistance to you." he asked
" I would like to start my driving lessons again, but first I need you to drive me to Granny's house. Then maybe I can drive back." said Sybil.
"Of course, My Lady." Tom replied.
"Tom, please just call me Sybil. Not My Lady or Lady Sybil, just Sybil." she asked
Tom Smiled.
"Of course, Sybil." he replied.
"That's much better." Sybil said.
Tom just smiled.
As they cleared the house Tom started talking.
" I have been meaning to ask you, how you have been since that night." He said.
" I have gotten much better, Thank You. How are things downstairs?" She replied and questioned.
" Well, Everything is going great. Aunt Beryl just loves the menu Lady Mary picked out for her wedding. The maids and footmen are the usual, except William, he seems to be over the moon. I think the reason is because he and Daisy have been courting."
"Oh! exclaimed Sybil, Another wedding, how exciting! Has everything in the garage been well?" she asked.
"Well, I must confess it has been quite lonely since you've been ill." Tom said shyly.
" Well I'll just have to make a point to come down more often then." She said
They had since been parked in front of the dower house for a good while. As Sybil finished talking Tom got out of the car and opened the door for her, and Smiled as she went into the House.
"I really do love her." He thought. Little did he know that the youngest daughter was having very similar thoughts on the other side of the door.
It had been a long day for Mary. and with her wedding just a few days away all the last minute planning, excluding the food, had to be done. As she was in this trance she walked into someone and fell.
" Mary, are you quite alright?" Her father asked as he helped her up.
"Yes, Papa, I was just lost in thought." she replied
"Oh, alright, then. Come along Sisi." He called to his loyal dog who followed him with a wagging tail.
Back in the Garage sometime later...
"Are you sure your not hurt, Tom?" Asked Sybil.
" I am fine, Sybil. It is just a small scrape." he replied.
" How did you get it?" Sybil continued asking.
"I simply picked up a stick that was blocking the way of the parking area." he stated.
"By stick do you mean a fallen tree limb?" She questioned again.
He avoided answering.
"Tom?" she pressed on.
"Yes it was a fallen limb." he confessed.
Sybil then proceeded to make him sit on a stool as she bandaged his arm.
" How is Lady Grantham?" questioned Tom.
"She is doing well. I cannot believe that there are only a few days left until the twins arrive." she sighed
" That is good to hear." said Tom.
They remained silent until the bandaging was done.
" Thank You, Sybil. You did not have to do that." He said
" Oh, I would do anything for you Tom, I love You!" Said Sybil.
Tom's eyes became as wide as saucers. Then Sybil realized what she had just said aloud.
" Oh, I am so so sor-"
Tom cut her off.
"You have nothing to be sorry for! I Love you too!" Tom Exclaimed as he hugged her.
She leaned back and smiled. "I best go in they will be wondering where I am." she said as she slowly backed away. I'll be back tomorrow."
As she rushed from the garage she heard a faint "Yes!" come from Tom. She knew exactly how he felt.
