(Authors note: In this fic, Neo is a legitimate student at Beacon Academy and is still mute)
Neo had a dream that horrified her and then her beloved knight comes to comfort her. Takes place during a really cold, friday winter night.
Neo had just woken from the most vivid and horrifying nightmare. In her nightmare, she'd see her boyfriend Jaune, the love of her life, dead. He was covered in blood, his armor shattered as well his sword and shield. She wanted to run to him, tell him she loved him more than anything else, but she couldn't. All she could do was look at the man she loved with every fiber of her being, laying there dead.
After calming herself enough to reach for her scroll, she asked Jaune if he could come over to her room. He replied with a yes and asked if everything was ok.
Thankfully, Jaune was playing card games with Ren and the two got really caught up in this.
She texted him what had happened. Jaune said that he'd be over soon. She asked him if he could wear the pajamas she'd gotten him for Christmas. He said he would.
It was around 4 in the morning when Jaune arrived at Neo's door, he was wearing the pajamas Neo had gotten him as he had promised. Black flannel pajama pants and a black shirt. Her teammates were out at an all night party so it was just Neo and Jaune in her team's room.
When she saw her beloved Jaune, she hugged him as tightly as possible and began to sob into his chest, Jaune held his girlfriend in his loving embrace. "Don't worry my love, I'm here for you." He said to his one and only. She loved hearing his voice. To her, seeing Jaune, hearing his voice, being held by him, kissing him, there was nothing else like it to her. She cherished every minute with him.
Jaune wiped the tears from her eyes and held her cheek in his hand, she then pointed toward her bed. "You want to me to sleep in your bed with you?" He said to her. Neo nodded and dragged him over to her to bed(which he thought was adorable) and after she got onto her bed, she patted the right side where she wanted him to sleep.
He got into the bed, and laid down next to his small, adorable girlfriend. He then held her close and kissed her forehead. The two looked into eachothers eyes and Neo loved seeing his warm and loving smile.
She turned off her bedside lamp and cuddled into her knights warm and loving embrace. "Don't worry Neo, I'll be there for you, always." He whispered into her ear as she was falling asleep.
When the two woke up, it was around eleven-thirty on Saturday morning. Neo woke up about five minutes before Jaune. She smiled and kissed him softly, his lips were warm and pillow-soft. Jaune then awoke to seeing his girlfriends face very close to his. "Good morning Neo." He said tiredly as he stretched his muscular and toned body. Seeing this caused Neo to blush heavily and almost gave her a nose bleed.
"You ok?" Jaune asked. Neo shook her said as to say "yes". "Your too cute, my darling." Jaune said as he pulled her into a loving embrace.
Neo smiled and nuzzled into her knights chest. "I love you so much, Jaune." She thought to herself. The two then fell back asleep and slept until five in the afternoon.
