Humphrey 3rd person
Humphrey groaned, waking up and blinking his eyes open. Getting up, he looked around and groaned. where was he?
"Oh you're up. good big brother. was worried you might of died" said a female voice, surprising Humphrey. He jumped and looked behind him to see a black wolf with blue eyes.
"Oh where are my manners. I'm lucy rouge. My elder brother is out hunting. He saved you from the river, and before you ask, you're in Idaho national park. My brother found you on the way here." said Lucy turning and walking over to the wall where there was a small space where you could put stuff.
"You're an omega." Humphrey said, sitting up knowing fully well omegas dens were much more detailed than alphas dens. Omegas didn't have duties so they did what they do best: goof around and make their dens better.
"Yeah. I was kicked out and came here. Then big brother came after me and saved me because I don't know how to hunt" Lucy said smiling.
"Yeah. I…..I left mine after an incident…" Whined Humphrey, looking away, clearly hurt.
"Sister, I'm back. wi-hey! you're up! I guess you know my sister. I'm Fenrir" said a deep voice, Causing Humphrey to look to see a big, big wolf standing there. Humphrey jumped back and looked up.
"y-you sure are-."
"Big" Fenrir finished Humphrey's sentence.
"I'm a Dire wolf, which is as rare as seeing a friendly human. I don't know much about my breed, but I think all of them are as big as me or bigger. And yes, I am adopted. Lucy parents found me and took me in. since then, I've been looking after her." said Fenrir, answering all of Humphreys questions he had at the moment.
"So….you carried me here?" Humphrey asks.
"Yes. you were as light as a feather, and I found you down river from water fall. Lucky for you, I was passing by." The big wolf smiled.
"It's mid-day too. so it's best if you try to get some exercise Humphrey. We Omegas can be lazy but it's best to start working out the kinks in your legs." said Lucy, walking out, followed by the big wolf.
Humphrey walked out and looked around, and he recognized this place. It was the place where he and Kate jumped off the cliff. Looking up, it was a sharp fall, but the grass was all gone. He walked forward to where an elk lay dead. Due to old habits, Lucy and Humphrey hung back and waited, but Fenrir looked back.
"What are you two doing? come join me." laughed the big wolf. We jumped, realizing we aren't in a pack, as we gathered at the other side of the elk. Both Lucy and Humphrey devoured the elk hungrily.
"Fenrir, I was wondering if you could…train me to be an alpha?" Said Humphrey, looking at the big wolf who smiled and pondered at the thought.
"Why not? Gonna need another alpha. We already have a healer." Fenrir said, smiling and nodding towards Lucy as he said healer.
"Now I want you to get straight to work. We will first see how fast you can run. Then work on that and later on your balance and agility, and your strength. So when we finished eating, we will go for a run alright?" Fenrir explained.
Lilly 3rd person POV
Lilly sat at the front of her new den. It was given to her by a vote of the omegas after Humphrey left. She was now the omega leader. Her duties included reports of omegas deaths, den assignment, omega mate ships, and to make sure healers were well stocked. The newest omega, the wolf now known as shadow, stayed with her, helping with duties. Eve has threatened the poor guy numorse times since most of the pack saw them as a couple but they were really, really close friends who shared the same den and the same room. they slept very close together.
If you compared Lilly now to how she used to be, you could see the growth and the habits and shyness she left behind.
"Lilly. look, look, look" came a voice from behind the snow white she wolf. She looked behind her to see only a black wolf head pop up from the ground with a grin on his face.
"Shadow why are you wrecking the den?" Lilly giggled.
"Wrecking? now my fair lady, I would never wreck a den. I'm improving its emergency escape" shadow said before disappearing into the hole in the ground.
Lilly walked over and stuck her head in, looking around.
"Shadow, we don't need escape routes. please bury this up" Lilly yelled into the darkness.
"But that will take forever Lil" said shadow, walking out of a tunnel in the back of the den, causing Lilly to jump.
"Never mind. At least cover this up and the other please" Lilly said, turning, heading to the entrance of the den.
"I will. just go to your duties Lil, and remember. you promised me I could take you to the moonlight howl" Shadow said, looking at the hole.
"No I di-" Lilly looked behind her to find Shadow gone again and sighed before leaving and walking to one of the healers den's.
