Kate POV

Its been a few days since the death of the twin brother omegas kate sigh looking at around the den area garth behind her talking with scare and hutch about something. Not noticing garth walking up

"Kate you ready for patrol?"asked Garth walking up behind her smiling

"Yeah...lets go"she said with one last look at her pack before following Garth down the ramp to their den

"Its still bothering you isn't it..."Garth said bluntly only loud enough for her to hear.

Kate nodded hurrying her pace to lead garth to the north border.

The patrol was dull and non eventful and their was no talking among the two alphas the whole time Garth trying to make awkward small talk

"Garth...you mean well but...can...ill meet you back at camp alright i wanna be alone for a few minutes..."said Kate

"Ummm...sure ill send out the night and hunting patrol...Kate if you need someone to talk to you know I'm here right"Garth said with worried eyes.

Kate nodded smileing kissing Garth cheek and he was on his way and she began walking her paws bringing her to the valley were she got married.

"Some...marriage...alone...Humphrey...please...come back to me...i miss you...I'm sorry...i should of told you...i should of told you how i felt on that train"said Kate sitting down looking up at the moon.

As her mind went back to the time they howled she smiled and giggled her mind to gone to notice her body heating up

-garth pov-

Garth walked his mind in the sky again his thoughts were on Lily and that weird black wolf tomorrow was the full moon meaning he would finally see if they were together.

Garth mind rushed back to reality and lilly stood before him her fur out of her eyes to show those lovely light purple eyes

"Lilly..umm how...how are you doing"asked Garth

"I'm fine...hows being the head alpha?"asked Lilly

"Its f-fine..hows being the leader of the omegas"asked garth

"Its okay would be stressing without shadows help he has a special way with the omegas and omega pups oh i should go cant leave shadow and the pups alone for long or its impossible to get them to sleep"lilly said with a dying smile before she turned around and walked away leaveing Garth alone

"I love you..."whispered Garth now being left alone he sat their alone as the sky grew darker thinking before he got up and turned to his and kate's den and began to walk holding back tears putting on a mask.

Once arriving back at the den area he went over to Scar

"Take the patrols out...im..gonna go to bed early"Garth Barked scar nodded and left arriving back at the den and went to the very back and curled up
