Klaus had spent all morning going over everything in his head. With all of these new changes he was worried something unexpected might happen.
"You'll be fine, just go to school like normal" Maddox said to reassure him. "Yeah I already told Ray not to come out of his apartment. I'm keeping a watch on him." Mason added in.
"Just make sure that when Damon decides to rescue Jules and Katerina, that you're close by. It will be a full moon and Jules will be turning. I don't need her to bite someone unexpectedly." Klaus warned Mason. "And by someone he means Caroline." Katherine mentioned as she rolled her eyes. "I got that covered, Maddox is going to use a spell to seal us in the cellar." Mason explained while looking over at Maddox to make sure the plan was still set. "I just don't see why you don't use Katherine for the sacrifice." Mason added in trying to change the focus. "I still have plans for Katerina" Klaus said as he stared at Katherine. He still needed her to kill Michael.
A few moments later Klaus entered the school. He had to go pretend to be Alaric. He saw Caroline over by her locker and nobody was around yet. "You just keep getting more beautiful by the day love" Klaus said as he walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her hips. "What?!...Alaric?" Caroline said as she turned around. "Oh... I mean Klaus" she added in as she remembered him telling her that he was going to jump into Alaric's body. "You can't do this here" she whispered as she looked around. "It's hard to keep my hands off of you" he said as he still tried to hug her. Caroline was trying to stop his wandering hands. "Well Alaric would never do this" she reminded him. He gave up trying to kiss and hug her. "Very well, I'll keep my hands to myself sweetheart" he said holding up his hands surrending. "You can't call me that either" she said smiling. Klaus sighed "I will see you later? Hmm, maybe at the dance? He asked with a smirk.
"Oh.. Actually, Matt asked me to the dance and I was planning on going with him" Caroline mentioned.
"With the human boy?" He asked trying to hold back his jealousy. "Yeah, I compelled him to forget everything and he asked me. It's not like I can go with you, while you're in Alaric's body. Besides I don't want to go alone so..." she explained. Klaus was disappointed. "Well I hope you have a good time" he said trying to hide his jealousness. Klaus didn't want to control Caroline. He wanted her to make her own choices. He knew anyways it wouldn't work out between them. "I just felt bad because he was freaking out about me being a vampire. And now that he thinks I'm human again, I'm trying to keep up the act." She explained and it made Klaus feel a little better. She gave him a quick sneaky pop kiss before walking away. He couldn't wait until after the Sacrifice, so he could focus all his attention on her. But for now he had to let her do her thing while he does his thing.
Klaus was prepared this time to teach his history class. He had gotten a tv and decided to let his students watch 60's movies. After class, he seen a student of his named Dana. He remembered her from his present. "Hey, Mr. Saltzman" Dana said as he walked up to her. "Hey Dana, How are you?" He replied as he started to compel her. "I need you to go find Elena Gilbert. Ask her if she is going to the dance tonight. Tell her this really really hot guy wants to know. And he wants to know if she will save him the last dance?" He finished compelling her. "Yeah I have to go find Elena" Dana said as she walked off. About that time Caroline walked up. "Are you sure that was really necessary?" She said as she crossed her arms. "Careful love, you're standing to close to your teacher." Klaus said trying to mock her for earlier. Caroline rolled her eyes. "This is the way that I make my presence known." He explained noticing her frustration. "I know, I just don't like you messing with my friends like that" Caroline said as she uncrossed her arms. "It's harmless fun love" he replied as he gave her a sneaky kiss on the cheek and walked away.
A few mintues later he received a text on Alaric's phone. It was Damon telling him to meet at his house. "Right on time" Klaus thought to himself.
He went to the Salvatore's mansion just like he had did before in his present. Everything went just like he remembered. Bonnie was there talking about how powerful she was. Klaus couldn't wait to leave. He thought it was cool at first, watching everything how it did in his present. But now it was getting boring.
"Now I have to go this stupid dance, where Bonnie tries to kill me. And I think I kill her but spoiler alert, I don't" Klaus explained. Mason started to laugh. "You don't know how boring it is to know everything that's going to happen." Klaus added in.
"Well this is a good thing. It means we're right on track." Maddox said while handing Klaus a drink. "Well after the sacrifice, they'll be big changes. But also I have to work killing Michael in." Klaus said as he looked at Katherine. "One thing at a time" Maddox said. "Have you thought about who will be your vampire in the sacrifice?" Katherine asked. She was worried that Klaus could still change his mind. She needed to know that he had someone already in his mind, locked in. "Well I'm not using Jenna, if that's what you're wondering" Klaus answered knowing Katherine didn't care about Jenna and that she was just asking for herself. But Klaus didn't want to say out loud who he planned on using. Because he had planned to use one of the vampires from Isobel's crew. He had knew from the start that he couldn't use Jenna in the Sacrifice. Even when he was telling Caroline about his present he didn't mention it. It was better to have a cooperating doppelgänger not one who was mad over her aunt.
Later on, Klaus walked in to the dance just like in his present. "Let's get this over with" he thought to himself. He went to go find Dana and her boyfriend to compel them.
"Make sure to inform the D.j. of my special request" Klaus said to Dana as he was finishing up compelling her. He had sent chad and a couple of friends to go get this bag in Alaric's car. It was full of weapons. He compelled them to pick a fight with Jeremy in the hallway away from everyone. Just like in his present time. He waited and watched Elena's face after Dana was on stage. He remembered this part and he had a smirk on his face. Which the smirk quickly disappeared as Caroline walked through the doors with Matt. They were laughing and headed towards the dance floor. He was glad that Caroline was happy but he wished he was the one making her laugh. He decided to go wait outside for Bonnie and Elena to come and talk so he could interrupt them just like he did before. He couldn't watch Caroline with Matt any longer.
The night went just like it had in his present. He had went to his apartment after Bonnie had fell like she was dead. He had sent a text to Stefan's phone. Letting him know that Jenna was safe from him and that he didn't want to get her involved. In his present time he had went and visited Jenna trying to threaten Elena. Scare her from ruining him trying to break his curse. But now that he knows that Elena isn't a runner, he figured he wouldn't even mess with Jenna.
The next day Klaus was arranging for Greta's arrival. She planned on getting in that night. And she was going to help Maddox put Klaus back into his body. He was excited for that. Maddox wanted to be the one to break his curse now that he was going to be alive. But Klaus had warned him of Greta's death. So Maddox planned to make sure that Mason and Jules was kept safe while they were sealed in the cellar during the full moon.
A few minutes later, Caroline had came over. She had noticed Klaus was a little stand off-ish last night and wanted to see if he was okay. With it being so close to the sacrifice she didn't want to lose his trust. "I just can't talk to you seriously while you're in Ric's body" Caroline said smiling trying to make a light conversation. "I'll be out of soon love." Klaus replied. "Besides you don't like the human about it" he added in as he rubbed his body down. Caroline just rolled her eyes. " I don't have a thing for humans, I just went with Matt out of pitty." Caroline answered. "He's been wanting to be up my ass since I compelled him to forget" Caroline added. At that time a vampire came up to Klaus, letting him know that Damon and his girlfriend was looking around in Alaric's apartment. "Why are they here?" Caroline asked. "Probably thinking they would find Katerina" Klaus answered. "We're okay to speak freely, I have sage burning all on this floor, it prevents us from being overheard" Maddox mentioned. "Great, So they won't hear me asking this" Caroline said she turned toward Klaus. "I was thinking, if I was the original "decoy" vampire used for the sacrifice... I would like to be it again this time." She finished asking. "No absolutely not" Klaus answered fast. "I think it's a great idea" Katherine mentioned trying to get out of doing it. "It will be a full moon, wolves will be out. Anything could happen when Damon comes. No." Klaus said shaking his head. "Exactly, anything could happen. And I know for a fact that Damon isn't going to want to save Jules. Not after she killed Rose. Or Katherine, because she's...well Katherine." Caroline explained. "She does have a point" Katherine added in still tryin to get out of doing it. Klaus just shook his head for a minute while thinking it over. "It's too dangerous" Klaus said. "No it's not, Maddox will be around to make sure Jules is sealed." Caroline said as she pointed to Maddox. Caroline was just trying to look out for Damon and she didn't want anything crazy to happen. She thought that if she was there, she would have a little control on the situation. "Maddox is going to be hiding until Damon comes. He has to make sure he doesn't die this time." Klaus explained. "I can help" Katherine spoke up. She didn't want to be used as a decoy, but she did want out of that apartment, she had been stuck in. "Damon is going to need to know where you have them. I can guide him through it and have control on the situation." Katherine added in. Klaus finally gave in and approved. "Just promise me you will come back here to safety as soon as Damon rescues you." Klaus said to Caroline. "Promise." She replied back to him.
Later on that night Greta finally made it in. Caroline was still there. "You're father and brother..." Caroline said, wanting to tell her that they were trying to save her and they were dead. "Klaus already told me... they were dumb for trying to save me. I dont want to be saved. I serve Klaus." Greta explained while smiling at Klaus. "Well I'm ready to get out of this body." Klaus mentioned to break up the conversation. They didn't waste any more time to begin the spell. Caroline decided to leave before Alaric noticed she was there. She still didn't want any of her friends to know about her and Klaus's relationship. "Now that's more like it" Klaus said as he was back in his body.
