A couple of hours later Alaric began to wake up. "Elena?" He said as he stood up. "No That's Katerina mate" Klaus answered as he started walking toward him. He started to compel him "Now I need you to send a message. Tell Elena that the Sacrifice happens tonight." Klaus knew Alaric hadn't any vervain in his system since he was in his body. Klaus and Katherine left, they had actually brought Alaric to his own apartment to wake up in.
"When did you get here love?" Klaus asked Caroline as he walked in. "Just a few seconds ago, is Alaric awake." She asked. "Yes, I sent him over to the Salvatore house" he answered as he wrapped his arms around her waist. They started to kiss. Katherine rolled her eyes and went to see what Mason was doing in his room. "I missed your lips" Caroline said. Around that time Maddox and Greta walked in. "We're about to head to the hospital and wait. The fall went perfectly." Maddox said. Klaus and Caroline stopped kissing. "Great. Then take the wolf to the tomb" Klaus replied. "Oh so this is what you meant by a fall from the mayor...you're going to lure Tyler back to town...And Jules won't let him come alone." Caroline said as she was figuring everything out. "You're very smart." Klaus said as he started kissing on her neck. "What should we do with the boy?" Greta asked. "Let him go. I have no use for him" Klaus answered. Mason came walking out with some wolfsbane. "Here this should be enough" he said while handing it to Maddox. "Is Ray all set?" Klaus asked Mason. "Yes. I knocked him out and chained him up earlier. Greta used a spell to slow his transformation." Mason answered while handing him this handheld device that showed Ray was still knocked out. "And I will wait for Damon to show up at the grill, like you said he did in your present time. Hopefully, I don't run into Elijah. But Then I'm going to lead him to where Caroline and Jules are in the tomb." Katherine mentioned. "Yes! then I will make sure Damon actually "rescues" Jules." Caroline said to feel important and to have a part. "And also get Matt to safety and away from Maddox" Klaus mentioned while still looking at the video of Ray. "Matt?" She asked in shocked. Klaus looked up at her. "Yes love, he comes to rescue you and kills Maddox." Klaus told her. "So he knows about me? But I compelled him?" Caroline thought out loud. "Sorry sweetheart, I'm afraid he's been lying to you all along." Klaus said. "And so Maddox and I will get Jules to the cellar to be sealed up so we can't hurt or bite anyone" Mason said to get back on track. And I will meet up with you to get the doppelgänger" Greta said as she smiled at Klaus. Greta always flirted with Klaus and he usually flirted back. But now that he has Caroline he didn't feel the need or want to flirt with other women. "And Caroline will be back here after Damon rescues her? Klaus said as he looked at Katherine and Caroline. "Yes of course" Katherine answered. "After I get Matt back home. Then yes." Caroline answered. She was still surprised that Matt had been lying to her and wasn't really compelled. Did he not care that she was a vampire? She thought to herself. "So after the Sacrifice, Ray's pack..." Mason tried to ask until Klaus interrupted him. "Will talk about all that after the Sacrifice...Well then, let's get this party started." Klaus said to stop the conversation from going any further. He hadn't told Greta that she was going to die after she breaks his curse. And He wasn't going to.
Maddox and Greta left the apartment to go to the Hospital. Mason left to go get the cellar ready for tonight and Katherine went to the grill. Caroline decided to stay a little longer with Klaus. "You want to be sacrificed tonight." Klaus said to Ben. He was a vampire from Isobel's crew. "I do?" Ben asked him. "You do indeed mate." Klaus compelled. "Why aren't you going to tell Greta?" Caroline asked as Klaus was finished compelling Ben. "I've already saved enough. Don't you think? Hmm" Klaus answered with a smirk, getting close to kiss her. "But you two seem close." Caroline mentioned. "Don't tell me you're jealous, sweetheart" he told her as he began to kiss her. "No, I'm not jealous" she said. Caroline really was jealous though. "You have nothing to worry about love. I only have eyes for you." He said to reassure her. Not too long after Caroline left to go to the tomb to wait for Maddox and Greta. Klaus left to go to the grill just like he did once before. He felt Katherine's presence stalking Damon. "Gentlemen" Klaus said as he walked up to them at the bar. Just like before Damon was asking him to postpone the sacrifice. As Klaus was telling him to not screw it up, he laughed a little inside. Because he knew what Damon was about to do. As Klaus walked away he spotted Katherine and nodded at her. She got up and went over to talk to Damon and Alaric. Klaus waited a while before he went and got Elena from Stefan.
"That's her" Greta asked as Klaus pushed Elena over to her. Elena just looked at them. "Did everything go as planned." Klaus whisphered to Greta so Elena couldn't hear. Greta knew he asking about Caroline. "She was there waiting and we chained her up." She whisphered back to him. "Great, see you soon" Klaus said as he vamped away. Ben was already waiting for Greta at the quarry and Klaus wanted to wait until the very last minute to go get Ray for the sacrifice.
"What is happening to me!?" Ray yelled out in pain. "My witch slowed down your transformation" Klaus explained. "I'm being sacrificed.. aren't I?" Ray asked. "Yes And I thank you so much mate." Klaus said as he unchained him. Ray couldn't run because he was in so much pain. When Klaus got back to the quarry, He seen Ben and Elena already in their circles that blazed with fire. He threw Ray in the last circle. The ritual was beginning. He wasn't surprised that Stefan didn't interrupt this time around since Jenna wasn't involved. But he still kept his guard up in case Damon tried to make an appearance. Since Klaus hadn't been at Alaric's for Damon to try to stop him, he thought maybe he would be crazy enough to stop the ritual himself. But Damon never showed and as Klaus took the last sip out of Elena, he felt the curse had been broken. He felt his body to start transforming as it did once before. Bonnie came and started her spell. Klaus felt the pain and seen Damon snap Greta's neck. Elijah finally had came up to him and swooped him away.
Caroline had been waiting for him at his apartment like planned but Klaus never showed. She had to leave a few times to support her friends. Like attend Elena's real dad, John's funeral. She was actually out in town right now with Elena getting ready to watch a movie on a big screen. Ray's pack had arrived the day after the Sacrifice and was staying in Ray's apartment. Mason had lied to them and said he didn't know where Ray was, claimed he was probably with Klaus. Katherine was still there waiting for Klaus as well, not that she wanted to, but she was under his compulsion. It had been almost two full days when Klaus came back. When he had woke up that day he was no longer in wolf form and in the woods. He had explained everything to Elijah about him coming from the future. Even about him redaggering him the first time. Elijah understood why he hadn't told him until after he broke his curse.
Klaus wanted to skip fighting with Elijah and even told him Rebekah's and his other family members where abouts. He was going to do things differently this time.
When Klaus walked in to his apartment, he immediately started to ask about Caroline. "She's been waiting for your return" Maddox informed him. Klaus was happy she was safe. "So about Ray's pack" Mason mentioned. "Ah, yes... I trust they have arrived." Klaus replied. He was ready to create hybrids. Mason nodded his head yes. "Well I need my doppelgänger" Klaus said with a smirk. Around that time Caroline came barging through the door. "So Jules bit Damon." She yelled out and stopping when she noticed Klaus was back. She had a big smile on her face as she went towards. "Finally." She said to him as she kissed him all over. "Really... Damon still managed to get bit?" Klaus said. "Oh that happened before? So he dies?" Caroline asked. Klaus let out a sigh, "No unfortunately he survived." Klaus said with a grin. "I told you love, he is a hard one to kill. Somehow he weasels his way back to safety and cheats death." Klaus added in. Everyone was looking at Klaus shocked that a vampire can survive a werewolf bite. This was new information to them. "The witches had told Stefan that you knew a way... so how?" Caroline asked. Klaus remembered Stefan had came in his present time begging for his blood to cure Damon. But Klaus figured that he could skip all of that mess. "Well now that we successfully broken the curse, my blood is the cure." Klaus explained. He vamped over to Katherine and bit her to demonstrate. Katherine was freaking out. Then he let her drink some of his blood. "You're going to give some of your blood to Damon right?" Caroline asked. "For you, I will do that." Klaus answered "But I'm going to need some of Elena's blood in return." He added with a smirk.
