Hello everyone! This is another short chapter. Sorry! I just wanted to get another out before it got dangerously long and boring. Please enjoy!

John and Emily walked inside, finding that Dorian was already sitting at John's desk, waiting.
"Dorian!" Emily smiled when he saw her.
"Emily, how are you?" He asked.
"Never mind me. Are you ready for this?" She asked.
"Ready for what?" Dorian asked, confused.
"Are you sitting?" Emily ignored his question.
"Well, yes." Dorian was confused at the obvious question.
"You're staying at my house!" Emily excitedly informed him.
"Are you serious?" Dorian stood up.
Emily nodded her head.
"Thank you so much!" Dorian gave Emily a huge hug.
"No problem!" Emily managed to get out.
Dorian let go of her.
After Emily and Dorian both calmed down, Maldonado came out of her office.
"Clark. I've got a case for you." Maldonado announced holding up a case file.
Emily went up to Maldonado and took a file from her hands. Emily walked back and displayed the file on the big screen.
"There are reports of a woman walking into jewelry stores and walking out with bags of expensive jewelry without paying a cent. No weapons, no forcible entry, she just walks in and walks out with no problem." Emily displayed photos of tall, blonde woman wearing a dark coat and a hat that covered most of her face. She had a tight dress on with high heels and an expensive purse. "She also apparently robbed a bank three days ago." Emily added.
"So she just walks in and walks out?" John asked, skeptical.
"Yeah. At least a day goes by before any of the staff noticed anything missing." Emily added.
"Does she bribe them? Blackmail?" Dorian offered.
"Possible, but not probable." Emily replied. "Can you get the security cams, Dorian?"
Dorian nodded as his face lit up blue. He put the four camera feeds on the big screen. They all show the same thing: The woman walks in and starts talking and pointing to things. The staff hand over everything that she wants without a fight. Even the customers inside didn't pick a fight.
"Try and run facial recognition on what we got." Emily ordered Dorian. "John, find out what she stole and how much it's worth. I'll track her from when she leaves the building."
Dorian and John nodded and got to work.
Emily sat at her desk, pulling up security cameras, street cameras, even ATM cameras. She eventually tracked the woman getting into a car. Emily zoomed in on the license plate and got a hit.
"A rental car from Wheels Unlimited was rented to Leia Spears a week ago." Emily announced. "Dorian, can put a name to a face?" She asked.
"The name doesn't match her face." Dorian shook his head. "This is Leia Spears." Dorian pointed to the big screen, displaying a picture of a light-skinned woman with blond hair, green eyes and a round face.
The woman they were looking for was tanner with brown hair, blue eyes and higher cheek bones.
Emily stood up and stared at the pictures.
"Well, our mystery woman took at least a million dollars worth of stones from the jewelry stores and another half million from the bank." John came up behind Emily.
"Let's interview the staff of each store and at the bank." Emily commanded.
"Every one?" John complained.
"Every one." Emily confirmed.
"Then let's get going!" Dorian urged.
Emily grabbed her jacket and headed out, with John and Dorian pulling up the rear.
Emily got into the driver's seat of the car, and John groaned when Dorian took the passenger seat.
"Ready?" Emily asked, starting the engine.
"Yeah." John huffed.
Dorian held his breath and stared nervously out his window.
Emily chuckled and sped off down the street.
