Robin tapped his foot nervously as he waited for his beloved daughter, Morgan, to finish her morning bath and come to meet him. Now normally Robin treasured any time he could spend with his daughter, especially since she had become a teenager. While she thankfully didn't grow distant from him and her mother like most teens did (He certainly had, bless his mother's patient heart), that didn't change the fact that his baby girl didn't have as much time to spend with him as she used to. And so under any other circumstance Robin would be ecstatic to spend time with her. The problem was that this wasn't any normal circumstance.

He had to teach Morgan how to drive.

"Nervous dear?" Maribelle asked as she poured herbal tea into his cup.

"Who, me?" Robin asked as he drank from the cup. "What ever gives you that idea?"

Maribelle gave him a knowing smile. "Aside from your knee shaking worse than whenever it's time for an annual budget meeting with Chrom? How about the fact this is the third pot of tea I have had to brew for you?"

Robin blinked before he looked down at his cup and he felt his face grow hot. "I-I suppose I am a little...apprehensive."

Maribelle giggled as she joined her husband at the table. "Nothing to fret over dear. You were very much this way with Bradley if you remember."

Robin smirked at that, more at imaging their son's reaction to hearing his mother use his "proper name" as Maribelle put it rather than the preferred nickname of Brady. But Maribelle did have a point, teaching Brady to drive had been just as nerve wracking (and nearly wallet wracking).

"But Morgan's...different." Robin said after a moment.

Maribelle pursed her lips. "What do you mean by that? Yes she is...excitable, but-"

Robin shook his head. "I don't mean that. I mean...she's just growing up so fast you know?"

Maribelle smiled and took Robin's hand. "Oh Robin. She's not going anywhere, you know that."

Robin sighed. "I know. I guess I'm just already missing having to take her places all the time. Brady rarely needs a ride anymore."

Maribelle nodded. "Yes, but is that not the point? Would you rather she stay dependant on us forever?"

Robin smiled sheepishly. "Yes. No. Well...maybe..."

Maribelle lightly laughed. "Well I don't dear. Much as I love our children, I am excited for the day when they leave the nest."

Robin nodded. "Yeah, I know. It'll be good for them. I guess I'm just not ready to fully let go yet."

Maribelle patted Robin's shoulder. "You will in time dearie. But for now, begin practicing now. Let go of being our daughter's chauffeur."

Robin smiled. "I don't know, considering my time with Brady, letting go will be hard less for sentimental reasons and more for fear of public safety."

Maribelle laughed openly at the one before giving Robin a kiss. "Fair enough love."

"DAD!" A chipper voice called from the other end of the house. "Ready whenever you are!"

Robin sighed. "Well, guess I'm off."

"She'll do fine love. As will you." Maribelle said.

Robin smiled before grabbing the keys. "I know."

...

Sup, hope everyone has had a good couple of days. Sorry about the late post, but I've had a busy few days. Hanging out with friends, playing paintball, watching the LDS General Conference, working, trying and failing to get up the courage to ask out a girl (Next time). Suffice it to say, been busy these past few days.

Regardless, next chapter will be fun to write, since I'll be pulling an idea from when I was writing RM and considering making Maribelle the romance interest. Glad it gets to be used. So look forward to Sekai appearing. Ciao.

Fave, follow, review, and have a good night.
