"Cake!" Hunny said happily. He finished it with two large mouthfuls. Takashi sat next to him, tired of bringing his cousin sweets.
"Takashi?" the smaller boy chirped. "Can I have another half-cake? Please?"
"No."
"Please? With sugar on top and icing in the middle?" Hunny paused. "That sounds really good, actually…"
"No."
Hunny stuck his lip out in a pout, his large brown eyes welling with tears. He sniffled pathetically. "Takashi…" Scooting closer, he shoved his face next to Takashi's. "PLEASE?" he wailed.
Takashi was struck dumb. Sure, he hung around his cousin a lot, but…
