SUBTLE CHANGES

DISCLAIMER

Companion piece to "Shared Secret". I'm currently working on the full-fledged story. Doesn't really take place after any particular episode, though there's a ref to "Who's Choice is it, Anyway?". Belongs to Stephen J. Cannel and Fox. I use the word "relationship", but there is absolutely no slash indicated or stated.

The officers of Jump Street Chapel weren't really sure when the changes had taken place. Oh, they weren't noticeable changes, merely subtle. Booker and Hanson still fought, but now when they did, it almost seemed to be…brotherly. Like when Hanson had found out that Booker had asked a hooker to stroke Blowfish's ego by being friendly towards him. The tone had been annoyed, but there was something in Hanson's eyes that no one but Booker had been able to understand and had looked---hurt could be the right word. Hoffs looked at Hanson, who was busy filing a report. It had been a couple of hours and he looked like he could use a pick me up. Before she could offer, Booker walked up and handed Hanson a mug. Hanson flashed a grateful smile, earning a light punch on the arm. Yeah, there had been changes in Hanson and Booker's relationship. Not noticeable, but subtle. And the rest of the team was dying to know why.
