Fai was staring as the sun was setting. He'd been there for some time; since Fuuma and Kamui left.
"OI!" a voice pulled him out of his reverie. He turned to the owner of the voice who was coming up to him.
"Hi, Kuro-sama" Fai said tiredly. It actually so far had been the only nickname he used for the ninja, but Kurogane thought it was a start.
"Hmm"
"How is your new arm feeling?"
Kurogane flexed it a little. "I'm getting used to it, but it still feels weird." He looked up at the ex-mage. "What about you?" Kurogane carefully cupped Fai's right cheek with his new left hand.
"You realize you've basically thrown away any ways of running away from me, right?" Kuro asked with a smirk.
Fai smiled lightly, a real smile, leaning into Kurogane's touched. He was surprised at how warm the hand was. "I understand it perfectly fine Kuro-sama. I hope YOU understand that you'll have to put up with me for a long, long time." He grinned.
Kurogane moved his arm from Fai's cheek and placed it on his hip, and sighed. "Idiot."
He scratched an itch on his cheek before looking at the small former mage. "Hm. That reminds me. I owe you for that punch." He said, giving Fai a half-evil smirk.
"Ah, but first Kuro-wanko is going to have to catch me." Fai smiled with his eye closed. He opened them and gave Kurogane a tiny lick on the cheek before running off. "Catch me if you can!"
"EH?" Kurogane balked, both in surprised at the nickname (the one he hated the most) and at the fact that Fai had just LICKED him! "Damn you! Get back here!" Kurogane chased after the vampire. Just like old times.
