Chapter 2: Into the mirror

"Meg, I have never known her well, and I never wanted to!" Erik said.

"Erik, You can trust Meg, if that's what your worried about…she's kindhearted and always wanted to know you, please, we have to,"

"Or Madame Giry will ask her where we went. We must take her, she is my best friend." Christine said.

"I get to come with you somewhere?" Meg asked excitedly.

"Yes. Erik is in here." Christine nudged Meg closer into the wet dungeon.

"Is he...safe?" Meg's happy mood was suddenly worried.

"Yes. Even though he may seem a monster to some I find him unusual and misunderstood. Now come on."

"Ah, Meg. Welcome to my home." Erik laughed evily.

"Cut it out, Erik. What is your plan on getting out of here. They are close." Christine worried.

"Don't worry, love. Come here." Erik pulled Christine tight against his waist. He walked over to a mirror that was covered by a red velvet curtain. He let go of Christine and pulled the cover off.

"Stand back." he turned towards Meg and Christine. He grabbed a spike that had been broken off of something gold. He smashed the mirror with great force, sending to the ground. Christine's eyes grew large when she saw him do that.

"Come on." Erik motioned with his arm to walk into the now passageway. Meg gulped, for this was all new to her. This Opera Ghost wasn't harming her or even attempting, she had thought. Christine inched closer to the passageway which used to be a mirror. Meg followed Christine's every motion, moving closer herself. And with one more second they all 3 stepped into the dark hall.
