Here's the first official chapter! I didn't want to leave everyone hanging after the intro so here it is!
I swept my straight golden-layered hair out of my blue grey eyes that were narrowed in concentration. I hate, and always will hate, tests.
This one in particular was a History test. One of the most boring in, well, history. Which is pretty ironic. I cracked up at the thought.
When was the Civil War started?
Wasn't it like, eighteen-sixty…. One or something like that? Yeah that's it.
I'm not very good at remembering things.
I looked up at the clock. It read 11:30. Dang. I still had a half an hour until this class was over! Until I had lunch.
Ah lunch. Where wonderful random things happen with my best friend Taylor.
With her lustrous long curly brown hair and sparkling blue eyes, almost all the guys in our small high school liked her. It was kind of funny, but at the same time it was a bit annoying.
It wasn't like I wasn't pretty, it was just that guys noticed Taylor first because she was, well, prettier.
Which sometimes made me feel like the third wheel.
I looked around the room. Everyone's heads were bent down in concentration. I guess everyone was having trouble with the test. I silently cursed our teacher. Why must he do this to us?!
As I finished up my test, I wondered what to do after school today. I was debating about whether I should go to the bookstore or the park when I heard the bell ring.
Saved by the bell I guess.
And there is the first chapter!
Basically it was just to introduce a couple things. I think that things should be a bit better in the next chapter, but of course, that's just me.
