On the way to Rivet City Madison looked back to James 'Goodbye James, I hope you find Vault 101 and goodbye Brandon I hope that someday we can see each other again.' Brandon kissed her before going to get Charon to go on patrol around the building and Madison returning to work.

Janice and Anna entered the control room wondering want was going on until James saw something from the security screen. "The Enclave what are they doing here." James turned to everyone. "Anna, I want you and Janice to get everyone to the emergency tunnel." They both nodded and left. James turned to Madison "I need you to tell Brandon to hurry and return to the control room." "Brandon it's Madison you need to return to the control room and please hurry." After she was done a squad of Power Armored soldiers different from the Brotherhood and they were escorting a man wearing a white over coat once they were past she was about to go into the control room but the door sealed before she could enter it. Brandon returned just as the door closed with Dogmeat and Charon behind him. He was about to ask what is going on when the man began to talk. "My name is Colonel Augustus Autumn and I demand to talk to the person in charge." "That will be me Colonel, James Miller." "Well Mr. Miller, I want to turn everything here to the Enclave immediately." "I'm sorry Colonel but that can't be done the project isn't working it never had." James lied hoping that would get the Enclave to leave. Autumn walked up to James and punched him in the nose and kneed him in the gut. "Sir, you are trying my patience and I will say this one more time give me everything about the Project." James knowing there was no other way looked up and saw his son and Madison looking at him and James just smiled and got up to the control panel to activate the Project. "Sir, you have one minute to do want I say." It will only take a moment."
