Kirby- Forever Loyal
I felt the explosion,
A crack of thunder,
Of the reactor collapsed,
Many decks far under.
He had a good cause,
Bad intentions we had.
But to us, his intentions,
Were the ones that were bad.
The cursed pink lump,
I knew he must die.
For he shot all our hope
Right out of the sky.
The vessel, the Halberd,
A grand airship she was,
But the hero came and did exactly,
What an annoying hero does.
The captain escaped,
And the pod flew away.
But the rest of the crew,
Had chosen to stay.
My mates tried to stop him,
But then they got a beating.
And the next thing I knew
They too were fleeing.
Was just me and my lord.
My lord fought him in a duel.
But my lord was beaten easy,
And he looked like a fool…
The interloper escaped
On a creature- a Wheelie,
As he made it out alive,
The Halberd crashed to the sea.
I let the water take me.
It's because that I know.
Going down with the ship,
Is my best way to go.
I didn't try to escape
Or abandon my master
For I'm forever loyal even
As I go down with the Halberd.
