Me: I don't know how THIS particular idea will turn out… eh…
Dedication: I had a particularly hard time choosing. Here is to hoping Tashi has a good ending… MIMISWEET4! (…enjoy.)
Notes: Includes OCs. Just bear with me. You need them every once in a while.
Some things are completely made up… in the story.

"I told you not to come, and now look what you did!" Diana screeched, pushing her sister into a corner.
Selene whimpered, her eyes brimming with tears. "I wanted to save mommy!"
Diana gritted her teeth. "Mommy is in a better place now, but we're in danger! We need to get out of here before you make things worse!"
"I didn't mean to!" Selene cried out, glaring at her sister.
"I didn't say you did… now follow my lead, and don't act stupid!" Diana muttered, crawling through the shadows.
"I promise." Selene said aloud.
"Shh!" her older sister whispered angrily, continuing to crawl along the wall, staying hidden from the monster that had killed their mother.
"What about daddy?" Selene asked after they had run about 3 miles away from their savaged home.
"Dead." Her sibling answered simply, resting by a tall oak.
"How?" the little monkey's voice rang through the air like music, but shrill and panicked.
"He died before mother did, trying to… protect her, I guess."
"Were you-" Selene began.
"No more questions. Let's find a ship out of here. I think I have enough for a ride to Shugazoom."
Diana counted her money, confident. Then she heard the thundering roar of the monster.
"It's following us! Hurry!" she said, running quickly with her sister on her heels.
They ran quickly, dodging upcoming traffic, trees, shrubs, and signs that blocked their way.
Eventually they reached the port, where Diana paid for a flight to the planet where her uncle lived. At least they would escape what was to come if they had chosen to stay.
The two monkeys sat, watching out the window. For a few minutes the sisters argued about what shape a certain cloud was.
When the plane landed with a loud thud, the door flew open quickly and the passengers gently walked out the door, onto the ramp that lead to the Shugazoom ship port.
Diana rushed, and used their remaining money to get a ride in a cab. She was taught the directions to his home in case the family was put in deep danger.
"That came in handy." The simian muttered as the car halted to a jerky stop. The car puffed out smoke through its tailpipe, chugging slightly.
She paid him the fair, and they rung the doorbell.
The door opened, and their uncle sat on a ragged couch. He was drinking tea and reading a paper.
"Uncle?" Selene whispered.
Their uncle stood up. "I sense the monster is after you, and has found a way to here. Do not fear, though, children. You will have a scent unfamiliar to the monster, so he does not smell your presence. Don't worry. That creature is a blind one."
He pulled out skunk scented spray.
"SERIOUSLY?!"
Selene demanded.
