"Hello, Tori." A deep, hair-raising voice calls out. Tori freezes in place at the sound, the reality of the situation hitting her like a rock. I'm really doing this... He's really here.
Tori straightens her back, spinning on her heels toward the sound. She gathers up her best courage and tries to sound firm as she speaks. "Who are you, and what do you want?
"Over here, Tori." The voice hisses again, from a different direction. Tori's brow furrows and she whipps around, anger and adrenaline pumping.
She grabs her phone out of her pocket, extending it into the air. "If you don't come out, I'm calling the cops!" she threatens, waving
"You wouldn't." He chuckles, yet again changing positions.
She turns around and continues to speak while she searches, feet still planted to the ground. "I really would! So come out slowly, and tell me where my friends are!"
"Why would I do that?" Again, the direction of his voice changes entirely.
Tori doesn't even bother turning. "Would you mind terribly standing still? What are you, a toddler?"
"Now, my sarcastic Tori. Could a toddler really kidnap all of your friends?" He jests.
Tori sighs, rolling her eyes. "Are we done being so mysterious? Just come attack me, or whatever, already! And leave my friends alone!" She looks around, waiting for something to pop out and grab her, or something. "At least show yourself!"
"If you insist."
She hears footsteps behind her, and takes a deep breath before turning.
Before her appears a man in a dark cape, with a mask and top hat, wearing a tuxedo. She can't make out his identity, not even from the voice. She fears he is violent, but he makes no motion toward her, so she lets herself relax. Stupid outfit, she tells herself, trying to lighten her own mood, but to no avail.
"Who are you?" she asks tremulously, still brandishing the Pearphone in her left hand. The stranger makes no move; he only nods.
"I am your kidnapper, Ms. Vega." He says flatly, voice suddenly less threatening. Tori fights back a shiver as she continues.
She rolls her eyes. "Well, I figured on that!"
The stranger laughs, though it catches in his throat slightly. "Sarcasm... will get you nowhere."
Tori blinks at him, then continues. "Then what will? Okay, I just want my friends back! If you want revenge on me," she pauses, scanning the room slowly. "then fine, but just leave my friends my out of it..."
"Silly Tori, why would I do that?"
Tori inwardly groans. This is getting repetitive.
Hey...
Tori shifts her eyes toward the "stranger" and back to her original gaze, which is on the curtain. Huge curtains hang down from a rail on the ceiling, covering a window. But next to it, on the wall, she can see a shadow. A short shadow, of a girl...
He clears his throat, catching her attention again. "I am your kidnapper, Ms. Vega."
She stares at him for a moment, blinking. "We kinda covered that, already." Her eyes flicker over to the shadow again, and notices something else behind the curtain. Red hair protrudes only slightly behind a curtain; just a small piece dangling outward, but still there. What is that?
He exhales and continues. "I'd advise you to drop the phone, if you know what's good for you... and your friends..."
"Wait a minute..." Tori carefully steps forward, toward the curtain. "Cat?"
"Step away from there!" The stranger shouts, making Tori jump.
"Cat, are you in there?" Tori asks loudly, risking capture from the mysterious man. The piece of hair moves quickly, hiding behind the curtain. "Cat?"
"Who's Cat?" A fake-low voice calls out. "I'm not Cat. I'm just a curtain!"
"Cat, you ruined it!"
Suddenly, the curtain flings open to reveal Jade, Cat, and Robbie, hiding behind it, pressed up against the yellow wall. Cat's giggling, her hand covering her mouth, ignoring Jade's glare from behind.
"Cut!" Beck shouts behind her, making Tori flinch. She turns around and sees Beck and Andre, Beck holding a camera and Andre holding Abigail, his baby cousin. Tori's eyes widen at the camera.
"Wha-?"
"Why couldn't you just keep quiet?" Jade snaps at Cat, who looks anxious.
"Oops!" Cat frowns. Robbie walks up behind her and sets his hands on her shoulders. "I'm sorry!"
"What is-"
"It's not her fault you kept pushing us over!" Robbie defends her. Jade rolls her eyes.
"You could have squished together! I don't do small spaces!" She growls.
"What is going on?" Tori shrieks, her heart pounding. Everyone looks at her, as if they'd just realized she was present. She turns to the "mysterious stranger", who takes his mask off to reveal his true identity.
"BURF?"

RockRobster: So we decided to make a short film called "Chat Room Menace".
HappyCat: I came up with the name :D
ToriVega: And you decided it would be funny if you didn't TELL ME? ! ?
ScissorLuv: Yeah, that's about it.
Sikowitty: And it would've been great, if it weren't for Burf's line mix-up!

RockRobster: And I called everyone's parents and told them that we were going to be filming it today.
AndreH: I mean, come on, Tori. Don't you think our parents would be freaking if we went missing?
GotBeck: Yeah, come on. Be serious.
ToriVega: Well, I didn't think about that...
HappyCat: Why didn't we just tell Tori?
ToriVega: Yeah! I'm a good actress!
ScissorLuv: [snicker]
AndreH: Nice emote.
ScissorLuv: I know.
GotBeck: Well, we were going to tell you, but Jade "forgot".
RockRobster: And you were already making it so realistic!
ToriVega: You... You told JADE to tell me?
HappyCat: Yeah!
Sikowitty: Bad move, on our part.
ScissorLuv: [snicker] Yeah it was.
HappyCat: Heehee. [snicker]
HappyCat: It's so sassy.
ToriVega: How did you hack the chat, then?
Sikowitty: Silly Tori. I have access to administration. I could even hack myself if I wanted to!

AndreH: Sorry, T, but it was pretty funny.

Why did Cat, sweet innocent redhead Cat, pull something like that out of her hat? Maybe she wanted someone's attention...? Maybe a certain... guy?
