A lot can happen in two minutes. Jack awoke at six thirty am, but didn't get up till seven thirty.

Finally, he forced himself out of bed and into the kitchen, where he threw a piece of toast in the toaster, just like any other Tuesday morning.

By eight fifteen, Ianto arrived and made him a proper cup of coffee. Jack got rather distracted by Ianto's hands, which resulted by going back to bed for another half an hour.

Owen arrived at eigtht forty. He came running in through the sliding door, his hair mussed and dark shadows under his eyes.

"Mornin', boss, Tea-Boy," he said, gladly accepting the creamy cup of coffee from Ianto.

"God, thanks Tea-Boy," Owen said after taking a sip. Toshiko arrived at eight forty nine, walking calmly into the Hub, her heels clicking against the floor.

"Good morning, Owen, Jack, Ianto," she said cheerfully, nodding to each on in turn.

"Morning, Tosh!" They chorused. She smiled and sat down at her desk with her coffee, turning on the computer, already looking deep in thought. Gwen came in last, in her usual leather jacket and black jeans.

"Hi, everybody," she greeted them, taking her coffee from Ianto, which had approximately three sugars and four creams in it. She took her drink sweeter then everyone else.

Jack gathered everyone together and gave a quick lecture, which he finished at exactly nine o'clock. They heard the alarms flashing, and Ianto and Jack exchanged looks before going to investigate Owen smiled at the girls.

"Well, just another Torchwood day, eh?"

They grinned, and Owen started to head to his autopsy room.

The blast was too sudden, and they were too close.

Jack and Ianto saw a strange man standing in the tourist office. Who was this person, they both wondered.

At exactly nine oh two, he tapped a button somewhere, and there was an explosion. Ianto was blasted backwards, dead as soon as he hit the wall.

Owen was thrown down the stairs, his head slamming against the wall. His eyes rolled backwards, and he didn't wake up again.

Tosh's computer fell down upon her slim shoulders. Her neck broke with an audible crack. Her last thought was, Maybe I wasn't as good at computers as I thought.

Gwen's back hit the door as concrete seemed to fall from nowhere. She felt her body become buried, her back start to break as her body filled with pain, and Gwen Cooper was no more.

Jack felt tears burn his eyes as he saw Ianto's twisted body. They were all dead. Every single one of them. Jack felt the temporary darkness fall down on him, and prayed that this time, he wouldn't wake up.

At nine oh three, everything was gone. The space that used to be the Hub was hauntingly silent.

Some days start out normal, but they can change in a blink of an eye.

This is dark, I know. I wrote it after my family visited the memorial in Oklahoma City, so this is dedicated to all those who died or someone close to them did.
