A/N: nuuo - This is not tied to my other fic, To Our Eternity. Although technically it could over in that fic. But as of now I plan for this to be a separate thing ^^. Things will also get dirtier as time goes on. I just want to build up to it overtime. Perhaps what I have in store for chapter 4 might be hopefully a fun read ;).
Left in the Dark
"Want to watch ARRGH with me, Lise?"
On her bed, Lisa looked up at her brother. Having been reading her copy of the new issue of Fantastic Four, they were hanging out in her room. Both in their younger bodies. Her dearest brother had been talking to his best friend Clyde over the walkie-talkie. Sounds like there was a finale to a show airing tonight.
She had to refrain from giggling a moment ago when she noticed a faint snarl on Lincoln's face. This was at the same time she caught Clyde saying 'Hubba hubba' through the talkie. Given what she knew, it was logical to conclude that Clyde was gushing over a picture of her in his room.
Clyde's crush on Lori was an open secret. Long ago her brother admitted it made him feel awkward. Now that he is older and more in touch with his emotions, he knows now why he feels the way he does whenever Clyde talks about Lori. Yet, he values their friendship too much to make a fuss about it.
Lisa closes her comic book. Setting it down beside her. "I would enjoy watching the painfully doctored show that successfully tricked you into believing it was real." Lisa said in a blunt yet teasing manner. She jumped off her bed to head out of her room.
Lincoln followed her out of the room. Was about to playfully defend himself if he hadn't been distracted by redirecting some of their sisters. Looks like they weren't the only ones heading downstairs.
He thought the coast was clear when he came down the stairs. Only to see a certain Gothic sister on the couch. "Luce? You're watching TV?" He asked.
"I am, dear brother. It's the season premiere of my favorite show, Vampires of Melancholia." Lucy said in her usual monotonous voice.
Lisa, who was standing next to Lincoln, looked up at him. "This may come as a surprise. But this sounds more appealing to watch than ARRGH."
He mockingly scoffed at that. "Alright, fine. Looks like we are joining you, Luce."
A smile grew on Lucy's face. Happy that her siblings were coming to watch Melancholia with her. "I promise you'll like it, Lincoln. It has a really intriguing air of mystery surrounding some of the looming plot points this season. Don't worry about stepping in blindly. Season premieres are very kind to first-time viewers. It should bring you up to speed with the general story so far." Lucy continues to chatter about the show. Her siblings found it cute how animated she was about it.
Lisa and Lincoln were now seated next to their spooky sibling. Settling in for the show. A beep came from Lincoln's talkie. Reminding him to inform Clyde of the change in plan. Which he does.
Noticing the bust of Edwin on the table, Lisa came up with an idea as they waited for the show to come on. The corners of her lips curled into a mischievous grin. "My dear big sister. I can't help but think that your affection toward Edwin is nothing but a psychological substitution out of misguided shame."
That got Lucy's attention who looked at her through her onyx bangs. "What's that supposed to mean?" There was an tinge of uncertainty in her voice. She was well aware of how smart Lisa was. She wouldn't say something so outlandish without concrete facts behind it.
Her little sister was on her knees now. Creeping closer to her big sister with a grin on her face. Her blue eyes shimmered with emotion that Lucy couldn't recognize. "That you love Lincoln but didn't want to accept it." Lisa purred.
Lucy's cheeks redden instantly. The way Lisa said that made it indisputable what it could have meant. She opened her mouth to object but was cut off when Lisa gripped her shoulder. "Don't play me for a fool, Lucy. It's clear as day for me. Isn't that right dear?"
Then, Lucy felt it; a puff of warm air on the nape of her neck, followed by another. Her heat began to beat against her ribcage like a frantic bat. She knew what it was. Lincoln's breath.
Their big brother got off the talkie a few moments ago. Having stayed quiet, he noticed Lisa coming over to Lucy. He caught Lisa's glance which signaled him to join in. Shifting in place he leaned forward so that he was breathing on Lucy's neck. Smirking all the while. "Is that true, Luce?" Lincoln whispered, making his moody sister shudder.
Lucy froze, the hairs on the back of her neck standing up, her breaths growing shallow. "N-no." Lucy pants. Her face is bright red now.
"Oh?" Lisa raised her brow before looking over at Lincoln. "Bite her."
"Wh-!" Lucy wouldn't get the word out before Lincoln bit down on her neck.
"AHH!" It was all too much for poor Lucy. Her body seized up before she slumped to Lincoln's side. Having fainted from Lincoln's bite.
Lincoln looked up at Lisa's amused expression. "You shouldn't tease your big sister like that." He chastises her humorously.
His lover shrugged. "I couldn't help it. She's adorable. Besides, you didn't hesitate to join in." Lisa chimes in response.
"What can I say?" Lincoln was smiling now. "She is cute to tease." He began stroking Lucy's hair affectionately. Still passed out.
Finally, they realized that the show has been running for a while. "We should pause the show for Luce," Lincoln said.
"I got it." Lisa sees the remote on the table beside the bust. Too far out of reach for her short arms. Not wanting to get off the couch, she instead activated another program on her bracelet. It became very warm on her wrist as it emitted intense light. Her body then turned into a silhouette of white energy that grew over the course of seconds before stopping.
The light faded to reveal Lisa in her real body. Her clothing also grew with her thanks to the device. Lincoln loved how her green sweater squeezed her gorgeous curves.
Lincoln watched her reach over to grab the remote to pause the program. It'll give Lucy something to be happy about when she wakes up. In the meantime, heat was growing in his lions.
Later, Lucy finally woke up. She wouldn't question why the couch cushions were so damp when all three of them were perfectly dry.
