Simon was shocked. "N-N-Noah, is that you? Is that really you?" He asked. The ghost nodded. "Yes, my brother. The reason I am here is because I have...unfinished business to tend to." His voice was soft, echoey, and pleasant, like a gentle breeze. Noah turned to Zoe. "Hi, Zoe. You've changed since the concert. Ten bucks says you still have that autographed picture of me. Am I right?" He asked, smiling.
Zoe nodded. "It's hanging right above my bed. My older brother says I'm a freak because I still have it. He says I have a crush on you, but that's not it. I just like to think of what it would be like to have you as my friend. But I guess that will never happen." She said. "Why? Because of that kiss? Shoot, lots of my female fans do that. Most of them have a crush on me and they can't resist. It's when they ask me to dump Annabeth that pisses me off. You were just another excited fan. And, for the record, if I were alive, I would most defiantly be your friend." Noah said. Then he vanished.
That night, Zoe dreamt of her entire life, but with Noah by her side. Far above in Heaven, Noah smiled. "Someday, dear Zoe, I will be by your side for real. And on that day, you will have the best day of your life. This I swear." He said.
