A/N: Anyone think it strangely fits?
I love Pedro and I love Gary. And I love Tobuscus. Hearts.
If you don't know what this is based off of (I am surprised) then look up "Safety Torch" on YouTube.
Review! :D
Nighttime was usually what Pedro De La Hoya was afraid of the most.
Not only was it very dark, but lots of big, meaty, muscled (for the
most part) boys roamed the hallways. And even if he locked his door
and made himself a protective fortress, he couldn't help the nightmares.
Nighttime truly was terrifying for the small boy.
He lie down on his mattress with his covers pulled all the way up to
his ears. His eyes were wide open, darting around the room. Eventually
sleep had overcome him and he was snoring lightly.
"Look at little Pedro, sleeping so soundly..."
A voice caused his eyebrows to twitch downwards. He subconsciously
curled into himself in some form of protection, but it didn't seem to
help.
"WAKE UP PEDRO! What if there's a monster?!"
Pedro jolted awake at the booming voice, tears already forming in his
eyes. His mouth curled downwards in fright.
"Don't be scared, Pedro, or he'll eat you! Monsters smell fear, lookin
for you!"
The boy who had woken him up pulled him from his bed and was so close
to his face he couldn't breathe. Suddenly he was dropped back to the
ground and, as he looked closer in the dark of his room, he noticed
Gary Smith. What was he doing in Pedro's room?
"I got a safety torch!" Gary held out a torch, the orange flames
causing the younger's face to heat up and glow.
"Put it on the your porch!" the taller male opened the door and placed
a few torches on the walls. "Put it in the hallway! Scare the monsters
away! That'll be 50 bucks."
"B-but...!" Pedro hesitated, eyes widening as the torches spread along
the shabby dorm walls. "The dorm is on fire!"
"Sshhhh... Pedro, you're looking a little grim now... But lucky for
you, I have come with a solution!"
"Safety water!" Gary held up a bottle of water. "Put it in a bucket!
Pour it on the fire!" Gary paused as Pedro bravely out the fire out
with the safety water. "Maybe take a bubble bath... The first one's on
the house!"
Pedro giggled slightly. "I-I see what you did there... The first one's
on the house..."
"Hehehe, yeah! Just the first one though, but it took quite a few, so
those, plus all the safety torches..."
"N-no," Pedro weakly complained.
"It's like prob- we'll just call it, like, 500 bucks." Gary grinned
with a hand held out.
"I don't have 500 bucks!" Pedro's voice wavered as he informed the
elder of his dilemma.
"Oh, that's fine! I'll just bill your parents. Thank you for your
time." Gary gathered up all of his things and began to walk out of the
room.
"Wh-what?"
"Go on back to sleep, have a good night." The brunette close the door
gently behind him.
Pedro looked down sadly. "My parents are gonna kill me..."
