this is a slight re-telling of the 'Cinderella' story. only this fanfiction actually in keeps with the story, itself, and respects the cast's personalities better than 'Cinderella-ish', 'Sorta Cinderella' or whatever that atrocity of a play was called ever could. December 18th a whiteout blizzard begins along with disease The Sohmas and tohru decide to quarantine. However the problems begin to arise. Tohru stuck inside develops cabin fever. Kyo who couldn't really exercise started gaining weight. And with the virus develops minor Agoraphobia. Quarantine can really change a person.

Fruits Basket AU- Tohru has a new job at the Sohma estate- she finds herself given new duties bringing food to a mysterious figure on the estate- all she knows about them is they don't speak to her and don't seem to enjoy leeks or onion.

Katsuya mentioned wanting to have a sibling for Tohru before he died due to illness. After going through her depression and snapping out of it for the sake of her daughter, Kyoko discovered that her lost love got his way after all. Katsuko is the spitting image of her mother and Kyoko swore that her daughters wouldn't grow up in a cold household like she did.
