Author's Note:

I've been trying and trying to get this finished but things keep impeding me: small child, family life, and then the fact that I have myself in a bit of a knot. So, I thought I would just write out where I had been intending for things to go and key things I was intending to have had happen so that you graciously patient readers would have some closure, hopefully? So, here's the cliff notes of what would have happened and some fill in on the back story I have had in mind for the Outer senshi and so on. You might be able to see why I got myself into a bit of a knot.

First Some About Mechanics of the Universe.

I re-read through the story so far before writing this out fixing a few bits here and there and thought I would explain some of the choices I made with the universal set up.

I have it that the senshi form they take is representative of the way they looked in their Princess incarnations which is why they appear as normal people from day to day. So if someone is familiar with a senshi in their ultimate form they wouldn't recognize their day to day form; this means for the purposes of what I'm dealing with Princess Serenity would look more like Sailor Moon than Tsukino Usagi. I know that's not exactly adhering to canon but it makes more sense to me: the powers they have come from their incarnations as princesses.

I also have it that the Moon Kitties are actual cats, but they can disguise themselves as plushies. It's the only palatable way I can deal with that whole debacle.

My PGSM Michiru wound up being half-Asian, that's just the way that she wound up writing herself. She bleaches her hair and dyes it auburn. Alex uses Haruka as a sort of "stage name" of her own when racing. Michiru gave her the Haruka nickname. I have no idea what her actual last name would have wound up being. Hotaru and her father are Asian-American.

I'm not sure how I would have done Setsuna to be honest.

The story itself:

After establishing that Michelle Ocean is Michiru is Neptune the group of Uranus, Neptune, Mars, Venus and Mercury would have pooled their information. Neptune and Uranus had been tracking the enemy and had some previous encounters with Lead Crow and Aluminum Siren. The enemy seemed to be split between stealing energy from people using converted entities and turning people themselves into monsters which is what had happened when they had dealt with Aluminum Siren. This leads them to believe that clearly whatever the enemy is planning is pretty large-needing massive amounts of soul energy and apparently experimenting with turning people into monsters. Understandably they want to get to the bottom of this.

The Inners explain that they also have Moon and Jupiter in their group but they are in Japan still. The two Outers explain that in their previous mission when they received the sword and the mirror they had encountered a Moon Princess, but she confused them a little because she was from the future and when she transformed she had pink hair and they were expecting blonde based on some memories they had. However, she had helped them defeat "Mistress 9" the augmented evil woman who came from the scientist's daughter, because she had healing magic and also had a connection to the young girl inside the evil. The young girl, Hotaru, had revealed herself as Sailor Saturn, and she and the pink-haired Moon Princess, Usagi (Chibi-Usa), had sealed things away although the young Usagi had almost died from the amount of energy she used and Hotaru had become a baby. They were all extremely confused about the whole thing.

Pluto who had been working with them had returned Usagi to her own time to heal, promising her that they would sort out the whole mess with her parents, and they had returned baby Hotaru to her father. Though they had set him up at their house to keep an eye on everyone while they healed up and make sure nothing else was going to happen. They were alerted to the arrival of this set of youma when baby Hotaru miraculously aged to a young girl again and started spouting off mini prophecy. Pluto had sent another version of herself back to help out and was looking into other things at the moment trying to sort out exactly where the aliens came from.

In Tokyo, Usagi, Mamoru and Makoto were dealing with a minor alien invasion of their own. When Minako was talking to Usagi on the phone and she had to disappear very quickly it was because an attack of plant monsters, controlled by Fiore, while they beat that attack Fiore is still around. As they're trying to sort things out and make a plan of action. Chibi-Usa shows "back" up and causes a bit of a mess. Though the senshi in America are, of course, not aware of this at the time.

Alex and Michelle, bring Ami, Minako and Rei to meet Pluto/Setsuna and baby Hotaru. Setsuna and Rei touch base and it's confirmed that the aliens are aliens not time travelers given Setsuna is aware of the time stream. They pool their past life memories and the Outers verify that their fight during the Silver Millennium was with Metallia and that whatever has sent Lead Crow etc. is not Metallia it truly was defeated. This is Much Worse.

Meanwhile the Lights are bickering back and forth about their best course of action; having not turned up any new leads on their own princess and wondering if they should try and talk to these "natives".

Ami, Rei and Minako get back in touch with the senshi in Japan. They decide to fly quickly back to Japan and help with Fiore and then the others will come back (reluctantly on Makoto's part given flying) and help with what's going on in the States.

They do so also establishing that Chibi-Usa wants the crystal to help with her mother's plight; but given the time travel element of things she agrees to wait until after this other threat is defeated otherwise she might erase herself from existence.

The group return to L.A. though when they get to the airport there is an attack. Mamoru pushes Usagi out of the way and his star seed is taken and he disintegrates. Usagi is understandably distraught and it's all she can do to retain control of her senses and not turn into uber-destructive Princess Serenity again especially when Chibi-Usa then also disappears. However, the people who attacked them are able to get away in the chaos of turning others into youma and disappearing with Mamoru's star seed.

The senshi resolve to make things right as quickly as possible though they are worried and traumatized and not sure how they're going to be able to. The only thing they can focus on is the hope that by defeating the enemy they can retrieve Mamoru's essence and somehow fix him. The aftermath of this leads to a major confrontation with the Starlights, who lead by Fighter who is compelled by Usagi's heartbreak admit that they brought Galaxia to Earth (inadvertently "though that doesn't make it any better" Fighter says).

They explain how Galaxia has been raging her way through star systems harvesting people's seeds/essence, and how she destroyed Kinmouku and they were not able to stop her. They say they were following their princess, Kinmouku's main senshi as she somehow transported herself through the universe and she wound up here, somewhere on earth, but they've been unable to track her down. They were using their music to broadcast to her but nothing has happened so far. Their music, however, broadcasts on their own wavelength not one that would resonate quite the same with earth senshi unlike Michiru's or Minako's.

They agree to set a trap. They push forward quickly with the dress rehearsal of the concert, figuring the collective appearance of all the senshi and magical souping from Minako, Michiru and Rei will help broadcast the signal further and perhaps be able to pull Princess Kakyuu forward, if she is anywhere nearby. There are other areas of the globe that she could be in; though the Lights have already been through most of Europe without success, so they're hopeful that she's near.

The rehearsing does indeed attract attention. Lead Crow and a couple of the other controlled senshi show up to fight them; but with the collective work of all the senshi there they are able to defeat them back and Sailor Moon discovers she can heal the senshi though they unfortunately die off without their seeds. Moon is very upset that she's not doing any good for them; but the others try to assure her that at least the women are free now.

Moon demands Galaxia. She wants to resolve this once and for all. As this discussion is going on Kakyuu shows up with a small child who looks a bit like a red-headed Sailor Moon. She says she was lost but she's been able to make her way to them thanks to the amplified music. She was hiding with the "child" who is very important as she's trying to explain though Galaxia herself shows up and attacks everyone. Kakyuu dies protecting the child. The Lights freak out.

The next part goes along much as it did in the anime where the other senshi attack. Galaxia is extremely powerful though and is injuring people a lot. Moon freaks that she doesn't want anyone else to die. Uranus and Neptune agree and after exchanging looks with Pluto and Saturn they prostrate themselves to Galaxia to be turned. There is a staged fight between Uranus & Neptune, Pluto & Saturn who tell the others to stay back. When they're killed Uranus & Neptune try for Galaxia but fail and are killed. The Inners rush in to protect Moon and the little girl. The Lights join their side wanting proper vengeance and to get this over with. The battle starts people are getting more and more severely injured and almost dead. Moon wants to help and fix things she tries to call everyone to her to join forces as they had with Kaguya but things are a bit chaotic, people from all around are being drawn towards them as youma. Galaxia is attacking people and senshi alike. She has the power of so many stolen lives, she brags, she will consume the universe and at that point she gets Minako and Makoto.

Moon screams NO! She draws on what she can around her. This has to stop NOW. As she screams this the others run towards her. The little red-haired girl becomes a senshi herself looking like a strange combination of Moon and Kakyuu. Her appearance makes Galaxia hesitate for a moment and they senshi pile to attack her. However she returns to her senses and annihilates almost everyone save for Moon. When she goes for Moon, Moon just stops and reaches for her full of love and projecting her desire to help. She grabs Moon's star seed and goes to crush her but then Moon's power envelops them both. The red haired girl re-emerges. Moon realizes their connection and draws the two of them together restoring Galaxia's own star seed and thus expelling the seeds of everyone that she destroyed. The senshi return. Chibi-Usa returns. Galaxia, and the senshi she had under her control say they will return the other star seeds/people to their homes in the galaxy.

Everyone relaxes. Relief, grief, freak out, love and the fact that they still have to conduct a concert. The Lights agree to stay and do their farewell concert before they must return home themselves. They will follow Galaxia and the others and make sure they are restoring everything given their planet is also a place which must be visited.

They conduct the concert and then they leave.

The others are left there with Chibi-Usa and the news of the looming threat that is going on in her time that they will soon have to fight.
